This place was recommended by my colleagues. They weren’t wrong about the amount of food, and for the lunch price! Every time I get my lunch here, it’s always freshly cooked and delicious! The jumbo shrimp is perfect. One of my favorites for lunch now.

Top 4 in Chicago…argue with your momma. Breading is thick but well seasoned. Here is one 🔑…the shrimp are properly cleaned and not overcooked…one detail many places overlook. Jumbo shrimp are exactly that. Most of y’all used to bad shrimp and that’s your standard but believe me…this place is legit.

I came here because of Foxcito's shrimp run put them as the best shrimp in Chicago I just left there and I'm in the car eating it now. Honestly I'm going to tell you the breading is way too much, the shrimp are huge but I can't taste the shrimp because of the breading. I don't taste much seasoning. I don't even know what Fox was talking about. I'll post some pictures I wouldn't waste my time coming here for this. The man at the store who worked the counter was very good I have no complaints about anyone in there that I dealt with I'm strictly talking about the flavor of the shrimp I also got some frog legs they were good it was just the same thing too much breading. It's just way too thick

Had the fried jumbo shrimp. I gave this place a shot cause they shrimp remind me of goose island. And they have a special on Tuesday you get half a pound for $10 dollars. The shrimp are not all that, they are just big, but they also not bad. I like my shrimp with ketchup so I peeled to taste the shrimp without skin and it had no taste. Might go back to try something different.

The best jumbo shrimp ever...we are completely pleased with finally getting their shrimp and fish. The clam stripes were cooked perfectly as well. My new spot for family fish Friday as the catfish strips are perfect.

The food here is amazing. Tuesday Thursday and Friday the have 1lb jumbo shrimp for $12.95. Now the area can be a lil intimidating, there’s a ton of people outside in the street selling weed. My advice mind your business order your food and leave. Other than that the food is on point.

Food is great! Their service is pretty fast and accurate. The area is not the best. If you're not afraid of the west side of Chicago then its a must you go get those jumbo shrimp.

Delicious, good quality, fair prices! They were pretty quick to prepare the order in about 20 mins after calling. The jumbo is super filling! They give you enough hot sauces along with it. This place is just as good as Goose Island and better than Lawrence's in my opinion. The neighborhood is a little sketchy but the pick up was easy.

The shrimp? Incredible. Chefs kiss. The schedule? A complete mystery. Call during business hours and you'll be told to call back in a hour. show up after that hour and... surprise! Another 45-minute wait. If you love shrimp and also love guessing games, this is the place for you.

Willing to rank this amongst the best fried shrimp in Chicago. It's definitely not without its faults as the batter is extremely heavy & the cocktail sauce isn't desirable however that's evocative of almost every fried seafood establishment in Chicago. There's a special running of most weekdays & you can damn bear get half off the original price. So far I'm willing to rank it as high as #2 behind Dicolas & toppling Haires but it's mainly because of the sheer size of the jumbo shrimp. A must try

Their jumbo shrimp is a 10 out of 10. I would highly recommend. The pic doesn't give it justice. It was really big. Plus a lb is less than $13 on Fridays. I will be back.
