Our love for baseball and for one dollar hot dogs and domestic drafts brought us here. That deal cannot be beat!
Though the price is right, the hot dogs are worth skipping. They were not very good, but we couldn't tell if it was the brand, the variety, or the way they were cooked. We can do some damage at a dog night at the Columbus Clippers, but we each had a hot dog and then stuck with the beer.
The ballpark is extremely new and well maintained. Like most AAA ball parks, they've striven to make it very family friendly. While those sort of between inning gimmicks aren't for us, it would be a great (and affordable!) night out for a family.
The ballpark also has really interesting features you won't see at other AAA parks such as a swimming pool and a large grassy area both of which are fun locations to enjoy the game.
We were most disappointed with the staff at the concessions areas. They were incredibly rude and seemed to be annoyed when we ordered. The game was extremely long, so we definitely got our money's worth on the two for one beer special, but this seemed to be a grave imposition to the employees.
