"This undoubtedly Chinese-looking joint has a reputation for being hot. Extremely hot. The hot pot à la carte menu promises unique offerings like kidney, aorta, and tripe; what sets this place apart is its 9-section hot pot where diners can mix-and-match soup bases and spice levels. Be prepared: it’s cash-only and prone to getting extremely busy. One to book ahead. Also in Shepherd’s Bush." - Angela Hui

Tiny restaurant, extremely popular among Asian people, reservation is almost imperative. I was in a group of six, and unfortunately our reservation got lost. The manager, after a lengthy discussion with my friends (lucky me they are Chinese) reserved us a table, but we still waited an hour. I never had hot pot before, and honestly it's a funny experience to have. But I must admit that it is nothing special, everything you order is raw, sometimes manipulated into rolls or balls, and you need to cook it for yourself into the broth/s you order. The spicy one is extremely hot, everyone in the restaurant kept wiping their noses and their faces were as red as ripe peppers. Any flavor vanishes in that lava. The other broth was way better: delicate, rich and tasty. I was struck by those delicious pumpkin cakes accompanied with what I suppose was sweetened condensed milk. Paid £40 each, I'd say try it if you never have.

Very average place. Packed with chinese tourist, which would be an indicstion for quality chinese food, but id rather disagree... First of all, thr portions are ridiculous. I went extreme chinese and ordered stomach, and they did the lame trick brought the bawl full of salat and put the stomach meat on top so it seemed as you get a bang for your buck. Once u lift one out of 5 piece u right away see that u were tricked. 10 pounds for 5 pieces??? Hot pot broth was good, asked for a milder options since I did not want yo have a ring of fire 🔥 the next day... if you end up here do go for lamb or beef plates. Those options got me full. Service was on a slower side too. Also be prepared to pay cash, but that's common for china town looool

Very unfriendly staff, overpriced hot pot, and generally a not good experience. Table and surrounding area are dirty and extremely greasy. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Very popular place with Chinese people what it means that it is quite good at least for this type of food. I dont think is for everybody but worthy to give it a go if you want to try something different. Not very veggie friendly. I found the hot pot broth too oily and too hot (we went for the normal level). You may have to queue to get a table for dinner.

Authentic Sichuan hot pot I have been recommended by a friend from Sichuan, who said this is among the most authentic Sichuan hot pots in London. When it comes to Chinese hot pot, there are a few standards - the soup, the food and the sauce. Soup - 5/5 They serve three different types of soup with rich flavour. Be warned that some of them are really spicy, which is what Sichuan dishes are famous for. For people who cannot deal with spicy food, you can order 'Yuan Yang Guo' or 'San Wei Guo', which have half or one - third of non-spicy mushroom soup. Food - 4/5 Fresh food is the best for hot pot. Food here is nice, especially for some hotpot dishes that are rare in other places. Sauce - 5/5 They have all the traditional sauce for hot pot. The garlic one is really nice. Price - 3/5 Price wise, it is not cheap. However, generally speaking, hot pot restaurants are more expensive compared to other cuisine. So, the bigger the group, the better, as you can share diverse food and the cost.

Close to authentic Sichuan hotpot (probably the only one in London/UK), but overpriced and very little portion. Hot pot is actually an ordinary thing that everyone can afford in China but you probably have to pay a Michelin star restaurant's price to have a proper meal at this restaurant.

Really expensive £73 for 2 people. 1 hot pot, 2 meats, on veg some rice, 2 drinks. Really tasty though, sichuan peppercorns really give a numbing heat on the tongue!
