If you are looking for a GOOD to GREAT gumbo, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to visit Shuck N Dive. Their gumbo, in my opinion, is soooo good! Desserts, there are so many good options! My table ordered bread pudding and peanut butter homemade pie! These were so delicious that I forgot all other bites that I ate. I looked down and all bread puddling was gone. Atmosphere, it felt like I was in a restaurant at Bourbon St. However, if you are looking for some golf trophies and inspiration in golfing, this is the place to go get your inspiration! I will be back next time I’m in town!

This Place is a NEW Favorite of mine. One visit is all it took. I only got a pic of one item (Black & Blues), which is blackened & baked, fresh Bluepoint Oyesters with blue cheese and looks to be a provolone cheese on top. They were incredible, and $2/ea on special. They had several great lunch specials as well. I got the Fried Oyster Po'Boy which was also great. My wife got the Cajun Sampler of sorts (can't remember the name) and it was definitely worth getting again. The creole chicken and sausage were phenomenal. However, I saved the best for last...Smoked Wahoo Fish Dip, that comes with tortilla chips, red onions and tomatoes. This is the best I have had outside of Italy (Baccalà) which is not smoked Wahoo, but incredibly fresh Cod and flaky. Anyway this Wahoo Dip is really smoked and smoked in-house. BTW, Wahoo is a kind of fish that is caught locally in FL. Just go there already. They know what they are doing!!!

The restaurant we ate at felt like I was in New Orleans. The music was nice and low but filled thr atmosphere. There is plenty of space to eat. Two bars for when it gets busy. Big tables, booths, as well as outdoor space. The people here are friendly. The service is nice. Food is made pretty quickly and still very delicious. We had raw and baked oysters. Blackened Fish with Mac and cheese and Tator Tots. Crawfish with rice. The drinks were pretty okay too. I would definitely come again to have a taste of New Orleans.

Google
my experience was ridiculous in many ways . for starters , the the wait was unbearable . on top of that , i waited for a half meal that was very pricy . my plate literally looks like a $2 checkers bite box , yet i payed $19 for conch & fries . on top of that , the oysters i ordered were very fishy & slimy. the proportion of the food seems as though they are going out business & decided to give me leftover scraps for my meal . would NEVER go back again , if you want good conch , go to quickies. thank me later !!!

Google
This is the only authentic Cajun food outside of New Orleans my husband and I ever found. And I lived in N.O. 3 years and he lived in Baton Rouge before we met. We tried many around the country and all duds. The crawfish Etouffe is masterful. Soft shell crabs, red beans and rice, gumbo. You and your palate will be delighted! Prices are great. Service the best! Jenny, Jay, Jimmy. All pros. Don't forget to tip Gene the shshocker! A super friendly bar.

Google
Loved this place so much. Service was good and not too pushy, music was good, very relaxed vibes and food was very fresh. Definitely coming back!

Google
Blackened catfish was good. Mac & cheese was excellent. The Cajun fries were great. Tried some gator, which was good. Just a fun, delicious time.

Yelp
This was an old favorite when we lived in the area but we were pleasantly surprised about how excellent it was when we stopped in earlier this week. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. We started with a blitz of Louisiana oysters; raw, Black n Bleu, Bienville, and Roasted. They were on par with other restaurant greats like Matunuck Oyster in Rhode Island and Boshamp's in Destin. The Crawfish Etoufee over rice was delicious; creamy, well balanced, super savory. The Shrimp with Remoulade, Gumbo, and Fried Oysters filled us with boxes of leftovers to spare, which we finished the next day. The beer list is solid with Louisiana well represented with Abita's Purple Haze et al, and some local choices like Tarpon River Brewing selections. It's great seeing an iconic Cajun restaurant still thriving with great energy and culinary wow factors after at least 25 years in business. Definitely a must-stop for tourists and locals.

Yelp
AMAZINGLY GREAT FOOD, NEVER DISAPPOINTS! My wife and I dine out every night and on Friday took a 30 minute drive to Shuck 'N' Dive for their seafood gumbo (Friday special) which is, in my opinion, as good as if not better than anything in New Orleans and also spilt a Carolina BBQ pulled pork sandwich which was fantastic. We have dined there multiple times, tried most of their menu and never been disappointed. The food is delicious, the portions large, the service is personalized and attentive and we will continue to return on a regular basis.

Yelp
When a nearby restaurant was too crowded and had a long wait, we saw Shuck 'N Dive, which was on our "to try" list, and decided to eat there. There is outdoor and indoor dining. The restaurant has a bar vibe and was busy but not overcrowded. While service was good, it was a bit rushed. Yet, we had to ask for our check twice when our server seemed to go missing after the first request. Now the food. We ordered the fried green tomatoes appetizer, the blackened catfish Po' Boy, and the Cajun Grill. The fried green tomatoes were lightly breaded, with some sort of sauce on top. The blackened catfish sandwich featured a light, moist catfish with a soft, tasty bread. Both were good. The ham in the Cajun Grill was too salty and the blackened chicken a bit dry. The cole slaw and hush puppies were average. The sausage was mixed into the red beans and rice, which was the best part of the dish. We have visited New Orleans a few times and have frequented Cajun restaurants. While the food was decent, we didn't think it was stellar. One appetizer, an iced tea, a sandwich, and a "supper" dish was $78, including tax and tip.

Yelp
Just off Federal Highway on 6th Street (Siktrunk Blvd) in Ft. Lauderdale. Shuck N Dive is a Cajun Creole joint that would make NOLA and the entire Gulf Coast Proud. Shuck 'N Dive reminds me of the restaurant and bars I worked in as a young line cook in Mobile, AL. It has everything you would expect from a Cajun/Creole Sports Joint......I must say I love the menu. This year I got to participate in their Fat Tuesday celebration. It was great. Music, Food, lots of fun and few friends too. If I'm not back in the Promised Land next year, you better believe I'll be Letting The Good Times Roll at SND! Growing up on The Gulf (as we say) you see places like Shuck N Dive everywhere. And we'll all have our favorites. Maybe it's nostalgia or just wanting a little something of home, Shuck N Dive stands out in SOFLO landscape.

Yelp
Came and sat at the bar and had Rob as a server. Very friendly. Drinks are strong. Wings are fire. Get the voodoo wings! They have a bite and are worth it!

Yelp
I was looking for a place to eat before the show. When I saw that this place serve Cajun food, I had to try it. My friend and I walked in before 6 pm and this place was almost full. There were so many things I wanted to try. But I settled for Today's Special, Shrimp and grits. The food was super yummy even though this shrimp and grits was not a typical one. The place was lively and I could tell this place was popular among locals. Only one thing we weren't happy was that the server we had was not really helpful to suggest menu items and the speed of the service was slow. I wish this restaurant was closer to my house.

Yelp
Always the best in Cajun cuisine. And, the best oysters you'll ever find in Fort Lauderdale.

Paul E.

Yelp
Started strong and ended not so great. Ordered raw oysters (630 pm and this was their last order left for a Sat night) and garlic claws. Both good. I ordered blackened mahi and it could not be dryer. Greens were good. Slaw sucked. Partner ordered Mixed Cajun Grill. Smothered in barbecue sause where the chicken tasted like the ham. Was hoping to finish strong with banana pudding. I have had Instant Jello pudding that was better.

Yelp
A neat joint for Southern and Cajun food. The whole place has a neat, really casual New Orleans vibe. Our server, Alfonso, was great - he was friendly and helpful. He made good recommendations and checked on us frequently, without hovering. The food was generally good: the gumbo was rich and intense - but not thick and gummy. TheSouthern Fried Chicken sandwich was good - not great. The chicken was moist although the breading fell off too easily. The fried shrimp, on the other hand, were perfect - and the breading was perfect for a Po-Boy. The Mac and Cheese was great. Unfortunately, the Hush Puppies were overcooked. On Alphonso's suggestion, we split the Bread Pudding for desert. A really big portion, flavorful and with an interesting almond cream sauce. The beer list is nice. They feature Abita brews - and their Amber Ale was outstanding. Shuck + Dive is a winner in my book.

Yelp
Shuck 'N Dive is a very frequent go-to for us! It's a casual, comfortable atmosphere with amazing food and a big bar in the middle-perfect for catching a game. It has a New Orleans/cajun theme which is fun and fits their menu perfectly. I get the chicken tenders meal which sounds super basic, but their fried chicken is some of the best I've ever had-only rivaled by fried chicken I actually had in New Orleans. The seasoning is amazing! I get it with hush puppies and either fries or Mac and cheese, which pairs perfectly with their sweet tea. Their food is also super fresh! Last time we went, they mentioned that the crawfish would be ready in a bit because it had just come in off the plane!

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch and this place is legit Nawlins! Had an Abita Amber ale, then fried okra and fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. Then I had the crawfish etoufee and my wife had the gumbo. Service was superb and a very chill vibe. Great food but casual atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I was skeptical about this place with the reviews I was reading but it def didn't stop me from going lol. I got to the restaurant about 1pm on a Saturday and sat at the bar. No one greeted me when I walked in but I didn't feel bad because they don't greet anyone lol. The ambiance is very "divey" and pretty clean. You can tell there are lots of regulars that visit the bar as the bartender knew most ppl name and their drinks. I forgot the bartender name but he was very nice and attentive to everyone. He made me a drink (Tito's and pineapple) and boiiii he wasn't shy with the Tito's. I had to let the ice melt a little. I'm not complaining tho, I promise. For food I ordered the garlic crab claws w/ bread to soak up the broth. They taste like crab claws in a scampi sauce. After that I order 1.5lbs of crawfish. They were very very delicious. They were fresh and seasoned to perfection. Tasted nothing like the other restaurants that serve those frozen seafoods boils. Ok now I got tempted and I ordered the banana pudding (shareable) AND the bread pudding, to go. I was planning on going home to watch tv while laying on my couch and eat one of the desserts. AND I tried. The banana pudding was NOT what I expected. It looked very good but um no it was off, very off. The cookies had an unusual taste thinking they were not the brand cookie. The pudding was hmmm yellow but didn't taste like banana and there were no bananas in it. To better describe it was like vanilla pudding w/ cookies and whipped cream. The next day I tried the bread pudding. Yeahhhh noooo I took 1 bite and immediately threw it in the garbage. This is totally my opinion on the taste of the desserts, you may like them. The FOOD IS VERY GOOD, the desserts are not for me it was for the garbage. Going back tho for more crawfish and the ambiance definitely

Yelp
Seriously the only and best real New Orleans style spot around! From the art work to the vibes to the staff... I feel like I'm on bourbon street. They have daily specials so definitely stay in tune. My favorite is the $2 baked oysters. Please try the crawfish etouffe, it is delicious. You really can't beat it. The bartender is super duper friendly! Love it here

Yelp
We had theater tickets in Ft Lauderdale and it was Easter weekend so the restaurants were booked. Decided to try Shuck N Dive because it is more casual and thought it wouldn't be as busy . I tried a daily special , Frog Legs that were heavily breaded and fried, ok and the Blackened Gator, marinated Louisiana gator tenderloin, different and also fair. My wife ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich that came with either tater tots, fries, or Cole slaw. Too spicy for her.
google avatar

Iliana C.

Yelp
I think it's pretty good for a dive bar but it's not necessarily in my top choices in the area. If you like crawfish though, they've got a great deal on that and are serving them by the bucket full.
google avatar

Kika G.

Yelp
We arrived to a busy restaurant. Somehow got seated at a booth pretty quickly. The little one tried some Louisiana foods for the 1st time. She enjoyed it all & so did we. There was a large parking lot in front so we didn't have to walk far after our bellies were all full.

Yelp
Every time I visit my boys in the upbeat community of Flagler Village a Shuck 'N Dive is our go to restaurant when I don't want to cook (I love cooking for my boys but Mama D needs a break sometimes.) While my boys don't like seafood (yeah, I know), they love Shuck 'N Dive. I love it too! The ambience of a local restaurant and great food coupled with great staff and fast service, how could you not give it a try. The beer is cold, the food is delicious! My favorite is the fried Okra and the seafood with a perfect blend of spice and savory flavors. I'm amazed at the varieties of meals on the menu-you don't have to like seafood to enjoy this restaurant. My boys usually get the chicken sandwich with the Okra. I have enjoyed the shrimp platter and the salads too! Very delicious and fresh. I loved the collard greens and the sweet potato fries are cooked to perfection. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. What a great place-scratch kitchen for sure. Can't wait to go back-soon!

Yelp
Amazing food, I highly recommend the oysters here! My family and I stopped by here on vacation and the service was great!

Yelp
How have I never reviewed Shuck 'N Dive? I've been going there for years, decades maybe? My friend was visiting and wanted to"something interesting" for lunch. Off we went! I was craving their grilled oysters and he was leaning toward the fried ones. Guess what? It was a Tuesday and the oyster truck hadn't arrived yet. To explain: they are closed on Monday so fresh oysters arrive on Tuesday. We were too early. So new plans. I ordered the fried catfish with cole slaw and mac + cheese. He decided on a black + bleu burger. In a word: delish! My catfish was perfectly fried and tender. The sides were quite tasty. They have a spicy garlic sauce that went great with both dishes. The bartender/server was very efficient. The ambiance is pure NOLA. Once you're there you completely forget you're in a Winn Dixie shopping plaza. I've had many quality dishes during my visits to the Shuck over the years. Authentic gator bites, pulled pork sammie, mahi topped with etouffee and the best shrimp + grits in town. Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants!

Yelp
I met a good friend for a Girl's Day Lunch. If you are looking for native New Orleans style food and ambiance, look no farther. They are known for their oysters. Even though the pecan pie in my picture doesn't have that food magazine magic, the crust tastes buttery magical. The chicken tenders were flavorful and juicy. Don't come on a Monday as they are closed. Every other day is filled to the gills with hungry patrons. So, if you are hankering for some southern food and don't want to book a trip to the Quarter, save yourself some time and money and come here. If you close your eyes and listen to the music, you will swear you are on Bourbon Street.
google avatar

April P.

Yelp
This place is still amazing and I'm always sad they are closed on Mondays - but happy for the employees that work so hard. They deserve a day off! Fried chicken dinners on Sundays are huge and enough for most people to share. I'm so lucky to live close by.

Yelp
Met up with my friend to eat here for my birthday. My parents and their parents are from New Orleans, so this type of food is imbedded in my memories, I was excited to eat here to see what they offer. It is decorated with so much Louisiana stuff, lots of TVs to watch the Saints, Pelicans, LSU, or whatever other Louisiana team may be on. It is a smidge dark inside but nothing too crazy. We got oysters Rockefeller, which were really good. So much flavor! My friend opted to get a fried shrimp po boy that I didn't get a pic of, but she loved it! Said the shrimp were seasoned well and the bread was delicious. There's NOTHING like French bread from New Orleans! You have to try it if you visit that city, but I digress. I got the blackened chicken with 2 sides- green beans and red beans and rice, as I wanted to see how the red beans held up to my grandmothers'. In all fairness, nothing will ever come close to theirs, however, I found these red beans to be way too salty. Like guzzle down half my beer after 2 bites salty. The chicken was seasoned well and very juicy. The green beans were tasty too. I'd get that order again, but I'd change out the red beans and rice for something else. My friend insisted on dessert, so we got the black and white bread pudding. It was a little bit better than ok, but not amazing. I didn't care for the white chocolate and the coconut on it, but that is my preference. Our server was hard to read. She greeted us but seemed like she was elsewhere in her head. My friend made a joke with her and the server looked like she was going to get really mad at her, but she just walked off, even though she didn't answer the question we had asked. Maybe she was just having a bad day? The portions of all the items we got (minus the oysters cuz they are ordered by 1/2 or whole dozen) were good. The price was more than reasonable. I would definitely come back.
google avatar

Sanya H.

Yelp
Such great food. Can't quit eating the catfish. Want to order other things. Such food options but the catfish draws me every time:). They have alligator which i love. They have it grilled!!! The best way. Or fried. Friends loves the burgers. The latter u come the busier it gets.
google avatar

Nicholas R.

Yelp
What a great find! Our server was extremely friendly and offered us a sample of the crawfish étouffée. We will definitely be back for more! Sad we found this place on our last night in town- plan on trying much more of the menu next time ! The garlic crab claws, the oysters, three-way, and the chicken tenders with hush puppies and mac & cheese. All were delicious!

Amy M.

Yelp
Would not recommend. Very aggressive woman next to us named Kristy made us leave. The charbroiled oysters were not charbroiled, they were broiled and heavy on the cornmeal. Collards were tough and needed spice. Red beans and rice were very good though. Sorry that Kristy drove us out. She said she's a regular. Maybe she shouldn't be.

Deneen M.

Yelp
Everything. My husband and I go there every Saturday night. We typically sit at the bar and Jay takes such good care of us. Actually the whole staff is phenomenal and the food is always consistent and delicious.

Yelp
I've been to Shuck 'N Dive many times and it's always fantastic. Sometimes there's a little bit of a wait, but it's worth it! We had the gumbo, red beans & rice, a dozen Oysters, Crawfish and fresh Pecan Pie for dessert. Everything was delicious! The gumbo is my favorite, so much flavor! if you like Cajun food, you definitely have to check out Shuck 'N Dive!
google avatar

Deprece O.

Yelp
I love love this place! The catfish was amazing cannot describe the crispness that they manage with the batter. Cornbread delicious. Place was BUSY but worth the wait. Everything we had was worth the wait . Bar service was on point ! Our bartender took good care and was personable. Place has indoor outdoor and bar seating .

Robyn O.

Yelp
Jambalaya. Oyster poboy. Crayfish ettoufe and bread pudding were shared and amazing. Great atmosphere had fun with the couple at the next booth. Wait staff excellent.

Rajkumar M.

Yelp
We've been to Shuck n Dive many times and have always loved the food, which makes this experience really disappointing. My partner and I stopped in for dinner, looking forward to some drinks and a good meal. We've been seated in booths before, even when the restaurant was busy at lunch, but this time a woman at the front turned us away. There was only one person sitting at a table for four, but we were told we couldn't have a booth and our only options were the bar or outside. It was hot outside, so neither choice worked for us. I went back in to ask if they would rather have an empty table than serve two customers who wanted to eat there. She replied, "That's what we are told." When I pointed out the other guest in a booth, she admitted, "He sat there without asking us so we couldn't ask him to leave." She then said we could sit there if we wanted, but she looked upset, and by then we no longer felt welcome. We left and went to Doc B's instead, where we had a great time. It's really sad because we have always enjoyed Shuck n Dive's food, but this unwelcoming reception makes us hesitant to return.

Yelp
Youtube.com/@TheRagingFork Around 445pm perfect time to come during the weekdays. Crawfish Etouffee and the Cajun Smoked Sausage Po' Boy were spicy and amazing. We had several plates of cold oysters which were top notch. Started getting busy around 6pm. Staff and owner were friendly and on top of everything. Price is pretty good for a very clean upper class *dive bar* and very clean bathroom 8.5 rating with key west style decor. Plenty of sports and cajun Louisianna decor inside. Easy parking right out front. Will come again...
google avatar

Yelp
This place is amazing!!! Family owned for 25 years I believe is what our server told us. We sat outside and had the best service. The food was a 10/10. I didn't even wanna stop to take a picture. The atmosphere was perfect, laid back and the southern soul food that you are looking for. We got the crawfish and seafood gumbo. I've been on vacation for a week and that was the best meal so far!! Honestly probably all year long!! Our server "Jimmy" was great, quick and was so proud of the food he was serving, he made us wanna try it all. We are here for another day and probably coming back tomorrow! Oh and the margaritas are delicious as well!
google avatar

Paige B.

Yelp
This place is so delicious, authentic and fresh. The service was wonderful and ambiance is cool too. I will definitely return for the delicious hush puppies!!!!

Yelp
They were great. Good food and nice staff. The value was great! It is a last minute decision that did nit dissapoint

Yelp
It was my first time coming here and I started with a cup of gumbo then ordered the steak with 2 sides, my friend ordered the mix grill. Food was so good full of flavor, I loved my juicy steak and the mac & cheese was delicious. Last we ordered their pecan pie for dessert and it was amazing! I'll definitely be back to try their seafood.

Yelp
Shuck'N Dive is a causal Louisiana style restaurant located in the Victoria Park Shoppes off of Federal Highway in Ft. Lauderdale. Shuck N' Dive was opened 25 years ago by owner Danny Stasi also known as Chef Staz and wife Meghan. Locals love this long time restaurant for its seafood and New Orleans dishes. It was so well received in Ft. Lauderdale that they finally opened a second location on the water in Islamorada in the Florida Keys. I dropped in one evening when I was in the area and in need of a quick dinner. I ended up sitting at the bar where everyone knew everyone else. They also have booths and tables and the walls are decorated with assorted New Orleans trinkets and memorabilia. Popular items on the menu include fried green tomatoes, po' boys, etouffees, and crawfish boudin. After looking at all of the mouth watering options on the menu I finally decided on the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich. The large hand breaded chicken breast was so flavorful with a kick from the seasoning but not too spicy. Next time I want to try the Bienville style oysters made with creamed onions, green peppers, bacon, garlic and pecorino Romano and the fried green tomatoes my friend swears by. Fans of Cajun food will enjoy this beloved South Florida landmark.

Yelp
I have been coming here for years, always a treat. They have great food , cajun specials, but the goto for me is definitely the chicken fried chicken. It is absolutely fantastic every time I have gotten it. My latest visit was a few days ago and we were lucky enough to get a really good server, forgot his name already , sorry craft disease.... This place always has a cool vibe and a buzz that says people are enjoying the ambiance, the bonding with friends, perhaps new friends while eating alone at the bar. Go there and try that chicken sandwich and tots...picture below. I have never been disappointed here so definitely high on my list of places to stop for lunch! Parking is easy so that is a bonus for being so close to downtown.

Yelp
If you love your food seasoned well, Shuck N Dive is it! Stopped on the way home from the airport on a Sunday afternoon. The place was busy! The inside is cozy with a bar in the middle. There is plenty of outdoor seating. I ordered the catfish (blackened) with sweet potato fries and green beans. The fish was cooked perfectly and was juicy and delicious! There was garlic sauce and Shuck N Dive's hot sauce on the table but I didn't need it and I love my sauces! Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal and we couldn't stop talking about it on the ride home. The staff are friendly and attentive! We will be back! The Étouffée is calling my name!

Yelp
Found this spot when my wife was out of town, and I needed something to eat. It's right across the street from my apartment, so the commute is suuuper easy. The service was great! Very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent as well! Had the fried shrimp with fries and hush puppies...to die for!!! Definitely will be coming back

Mc C.

Yelp
Great Louisiana food! Their Oysters are delicious and come raw or cooked 3 different ways with a special every Wednesday! They also have a back dining room great for groups and meetings!! Sundays fried chicken is also very good, but sometimes sells out early!
google avatar

Ariel R.

Yelp
my friends and i can't stop going back. crawfish mac and cheese, amazing priced cocktails (specials daily), oysters, fried chicken sundays??? shuck n dive is a fort laudy staple that has been a hit for me and my friends since day one. we go almost every week for a bite and the portions are massive so we typically do family style dinners. if you want a casual yummy dinner -- i def recommend!

Yelp
H -ighlight: Wednesdays after 4 pm there is an oyster deal. The oysters are still very nice, plump, and scrumptious. The price has increased 50 cents since my last visit. $1.50 raw, 2$ grilled. Still a decent deal! E -ats: Oysters (orders of 6 or 12) - as mentioned above, delicious! Rockefeller oyster- the best selection from the grilled in my opinion. Just melts in your mouth, and not too cheesy. Crawfish- disappointing. Salty / overcooked. Felt super unhealthy eating it. Never had this problem before A -mbiance: has the New Orleans feel to it, decor everywhere to justify R -ating: 2.5/5 very mid. The food brings me back but the service is why it lacks. T -ips: come on Wednesday nights. Oysters just taste better when there's a deal S -ervice: They only worry about taking your order and dropping it off. Could say we needed the simple things but couldn't even get a server (napkins, saltine crackers, maybe a refill... or more beer)

Yelp
First and foremost ima. Great food over great views kinda guy. And this place didn't let me down. Amazing gumbo and catfish. I sat outside and coulda just been the night and the fact that I'm just a table of 1. But I seemed to get lost in the mix. Waited a long time to have my order taken and then for a bill to come. But I'll b going back again

Yelp
I recently came back to Shuck N Dive, We started with a dozen fresh oysters that were incredibly briny and delightful--truly the taste of the sea. For the main course, I indulged in their weekend-special fried chicken, and it was nothing short of perfection: crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside.I can't wait to return for another mouthwatering meal!

Yelp
Great local place. Friendly bartenders. NOLA Cajun style food. My go to's are the blackened gator and the oysters 3-way, which is rockefeller, bienville, and blue cheese. Crawfish is popular, just not my jam..too much work :) Chill vibe & great service.

Yelp
I should finally write a review cause I've been loving this place for years! Everything here is good but they have a different take on crawfish étouffée that I absolutely LOVE I can't get it anywhere else since cause there's just nothing like it. Now if you're expecting a gumbo style étouffée theirs might not be what you think you're looking for however, once you have it, you may never go back to the gumbo style trust it's so amazing!!! Those pictures are 5 years apart and it still remains just as amazing I love this place

Yelp
Fried Green Tomatoes, Blackened Gator, & the Crispiest Sweet Potato Fries at Shuck and Dive in Fort Lauderdale. Love the atmosphere and southern feel. The service was great and came out quick, everything was super tasty.

Yelp
The "bad" first. The oysters were very good but not as sweet as I have had. The gator tenderloin was 7-8 dried up chunks. The jambalaya had every bit of moisture wrung out of it. The rest Hushpuppies, etouffee, sweet potato friesc cobb salad were all perfect, The staff was very attentive and friendly and the restaurant is just a fun place to be. If I could, I would leave 4.5 stars but yelp doesn't allow half points. They don't deserve a 4 based on the minimal bads which were still good, just not as good as the rest.
