Would’ve left 1 star but the customer service was actually good. FOOD SUCKED. overpriced and food wasn’t even good. we had the artichoke crab dip and it was gross! it was watery and runny, not cheesy at all, with just a sprinkle of nasty crab meat. I ordered the Fish & Chips special , which I gotta say was the best TarTar sauce I ever had BUT the rest was just ok. my husband ordered the Mother-Shucker burger and yes it was massive, but it was a big soggy mess, he didn’t even dig into it, frankly you don’t come to a joint like this for a burger, but don’t charge 20$+ for a burger that sucks! First and last time here, waste of money . only thing cool about it was the wrap around bar I guess.

Blackened salmon is tender, juicy and wonderfully seasoned. I keep coming back for it-so good! The service is great. There’s always a server flying by when you need one. Seat yourself dinning. The bar opens to the dinning area but, is a good distance away.

There’s a bar tender there name Omar is one of the best that I have ever had. This guy always on point never have I had my food and my drinks so on point every single time he is soooo amazing the music, food and drinks are so astounding I now go every Sunday such an incredible person. Also want to thank the cooks there the food is sooo delicious thank you great job fella

My husband and I dined here for our 1 year Anniversary. Service was impeccable! Restaurant was nice and clean and had a fun atmosphere but we honestly was not impressed with the food. It was okay just kind of bland without a real wow factor. The crab 🦀 dip was honestly my favorite and my husband loved the New orleans style oysters.

We drove 2 hours to try this place after seeing a rave review on TikTok. It was not a great experience. The raw oysters were too warm like they only touched ice when they hit our plate and the fried fish was chewy. The beer was cold but a little slow on the service. This is not a do over for us! Disappointing because it seems like a lot of people really posted some good reviews. The place is very clean with a locals feel but the food was lacking.

I think we ordered too much food. They are big portions. We got a salad and a soup along with the sampler platter. Nice little place to grab some seafood and beer.

I have been going to this place for years. I live out of state now, however when I was stationed down the street, this was a routine stop with family and friends. I still travel down several times a year and make sure to always stop by. This place is truly a gem. Friendly staff, delicious food, and a chill environment.

I drove across town to go to a restaurant, but failed to make it before close. Not wanting to waste gas and time, I looked up another place that had oysters. Shucks was down the street, and I quickly headed there cause I had been wanting to try them out for a long time. They have a huge menu for a bar, which even includes a variety of oyster shooters. I got fresh oysters and the Orleans oysters. They were all good, not one tasted nasty, all though the oysters were lacking liquor, they still tasted well. What really impressed me was the service ! The people that worked there were extremely nice and attentive. I don't remember the guys names. Now I know that shucks is worth the drive across town.

Lunch with friends. Love lunching with my buddies. Atmosphere is very casual, nice decor' and customer service is 5 Star. I ordered the crab stuffed shrimp, rice in a creamy butter sauce with rice and garlic bread. Sauce was good. The shrimp were old and fishy. Crab stuffing very gooey. Did not like. I did eat 2 to see if there was a difference in the individual shrimp. No, still yucky. I ate the rice and mushrooms and shared garlic bread with my friend. I did not send back because I had already ate 2 shrimp. Good prices for all 4 of us, only $61 with a $40 tip. I know my friends were happy with their food selection. Located Fort Apache and W.Flamingo, Smiths shopping center.

Shucks Tavern & Oyster Bar is a great place to eat quality and inexpensive food. When I went with my family, I ordered the sweet siracha wings, and my two kids ordered the sliders. The meal was well prepared and very delicious! However, the dining experience was significantly marred by the atmosphere. The kitchen staff in the back were obnoxiously loud and used vulgar language throughout my meal. This was not just a momentary outburst but a constant background noise that made it difficult to enjoy the otherwise delightful food. Our server was very apologetic about the situation, acknowledging the inappropriate behavior from the kitchen. Despite their apologies, the disruptive behavior continued unabated. It was clear that this was not an isolated incident, as the staff seemed entirely comfortable behaving this way even after it was brought to their attention. Given the language and volume coming from the kitchen, I would not recommend Shucks Tavern & Oyster Bar as a suitable place for families with children. The environment was not conducive to a pleasant meal, especially for younger diners who shouldn't be exposed to such language. Overall, the food was really good, but the experience is severely affected by the unprofessional conduct of the kitchen staff. I hope the management addresses this issue soon, as it detracts from what could otherwise be a great restaurant for me and my kids to enjoy frequently.

Whenever, I am in the area, I enjoy frequenting this place. The food portions are great. The service is cordial and the booths are clean. I enjoy their daily specials. The side salad that you can substitute for fries is substantial. The Shuck's cheeseburger comes with bacon and plenty of fixings. Give this place a try if you are ever in the neighborhood.

Breakfast exceeded my expectations and was tasty. The amount of food for the price is great, lots of veggies in the omelette, staff were friendly. I appreciate the variety of breakfast options (and vegetarian options)!

The food is great and service is even better! Great prices and a chill vibe! The mussels are sooo good, the tacos are great too! We love this place so much we came for Thanksgiving, Nik is the greatest!

Hand down one of the best places to get clam chowder and crab cakes!! highly recommended!!

Food was great we ordered the Chicken Tenders and Clam Chowder in a sour dough bowl which was good. The tenders were cooked perfectly crunchy and moist in the middle with Old Bay Seasoning which was tasty. The clam chowder was tasty. Service was a lil slow but, later during the meal service picked up and was ok. Will be back soon to try the many offerings they have

Worst food I have eaten in a restaurant, probably ever!! The place is a dump! I am shocked they are even in business. We ordered the 1/2 dozen oysters. Mushy, fishy, disgusting. Stuffed Shrimp, terrible! The stuffing tasted like pure sage. Pretty sure the mushrooms were canned. Lump of rice in the middle, everything drowned in a gallon of grease. Cajun Jambalaya was so disgusting, the "sausage" tasted like the hotdogs in canned spaghetti O's. Seafood cocktail, hard shrimp, floating in watered down V8 juice. If you like to eat food that tastes even a little tiny bit good...DO NOT EAT HERE! Seriously the worse food I've had in my 35 years living in Vegas. Gross.

The food is great! They don't have any deals anymore but this place is still nice. The service is great at times we are extra lol but they are always so kind. This place is always well kept and clean. Doesn't smell Smokey like a lot of bars and restaurants but it's nice

Hello all! I would like to humbly report that we found the absolute best place for grilled oysters! Bobby was the most hospitable and friendly guy you could ever hope to have without a prescription! The manager, Anthony, was incredibly receptive and kind. Fernando, the magic man behind the curtain (chef) came out to visit us and we praised his work! If you want to enjoy a good meal with great people then look no further than Shuck's Gaming & Oyster Bar! We will most definitely be back so don't eat all the good stuff before we can get back here!

I have been out of town for two years and now that I am back I am very happy to dine here again. The food and service have always been great and a good value in todays market. Everything is tasty, and hot and well presented. I would give you six stars if possible.

Back in town again... went straight to shucks after my family picked me up at the airport. Great service as usual! Some family had oysters which they always seem to love at Shuck's. For appetizers we tried the $10 special of crab spinach dip. It comes with tortilla crisps. Not one of my favorite appetizers. Lots of spinach but only the tiniest bit of crab. It was flavorless unfortunately. Had to add some salt and Tabasco sauce. The other appetizer was the fried oysters. These were tasty. The main entrees were delectable! The total bill came to about $245 for five of us. My brother-in-law had the lamb. He said it was delicious. I tasted it and it definitely was delicious. My uncle had one of his favorites...the Reuben sandwich with fries. I ordered the West burger...one of my favorites! Delicious. My sister ordered the crab and cheese pasta. She said it was really good. And then my aunt ordered the shrimp sandwich. Everybody loved their entrées! I'm sure I'll be back in the next couple days. My sister and I had Irish coffees. Mine was decaf. They were made perfectly. I'm pretty picky when it comes to Irish coffees. Even though their Irish coffees are topped off with whipped cream instead of the layer of heavy cream it still was really good. Shucks is one of my favorite restaurants when I come visit my family in Vegas.

We stopped by here while in Vegas because we wanted to try oysters Rockefeller for the first time and seen they had good reviews. The restaurant is very large and has a cool vibe. Service was good and the food came out quickly. We enjoyed our appetizers of crab cakes, oysters Rockefeller, fried clams and shrimp cocktail. My kids enjoyed their meal, too. I do wish our seafood bucket had a little more flavor to it but over all it was a good experience.

Came in and it wasn't too busy. I had the fish and chips and my friend had a sandwich. K subbed my regular fries for sweet potato fries. Both dishes were pretty good. Service was good. I'm not a huge fan of oysters but we tried a half dozen and they weren't bad :)

Ive been coming to shucks for as long as I can remember. My parents really enjoy it, its right around the corner from their house. The service is always fast and super friendly. The young gentleman who are always our servers are great. If I recommend getting anything from here its the pan roast, either with clams or mussels. A nice neighborhood restaurant that everyone can enjoy.

Food 10/10 oyster was bomb, tuna was good, popcorn shrimp was ok, the mahi mahi was delicious (friend commented) linguine was a little salty 8/10 the bread had melted mozzarella cheese . Service amazing 10/10 Ambiance not too noisy. It's just like a quiet dive bar but restaurant like 9/10 I like their booths

Nice little tavern. Smoking at the bar but tables in the back were pretty smoke free. Fish n chips. Three very small pieces of cod. Seemed like Gortons; definitely out of a box. Crispy batter but very little fish. Fries good. A melonball scoop of coleslaw. Hardly worth the effort. Very pricey for what we got. No cocktail sauce. Shrimp poboy was mostly bread. Said it came with a thousand island sauce. Ours did not. Servers response, sorry.. $4 softdrink, which was flat. The meal overall was disappointing. The service was reasonable and occasionally riendly. Don't think we will be back. Not recommended.

First time here and omg I will most def be back!!! I love it here!! My server (FRANK) was super nice and efficient!! The food came super fast and was soooo good omg!!! My friend and I came here for dinner. We had the Baked Rockefeller oysters and the Crab Royale oysters and both were super good omg!!! I had a order of jumbo wings (yellow belly) which are mild wings that comes with fries. My friend had a po' boy that also came with fries. We both had a Long Island ice tea and sat by the bar. Our bartender was super nice and efficient. I can not wait to come back!!

I can't believe it's been over a year since I've been here. I have no friends here that like seafood, so it's either go by myself....or.....this time, I got my mother to go with me. Oscar was our server again, excellent as usual and everything was perfect. I'm not going to wait so long until next time I stop in for some delicious crab legs!

Went here late night love how it's 24/7. Fried fish was delicious and the crab legs were delicious, down the street from my man's house, will come back !

Clean and cozy, great for a little date night. The servers and Bartenders are friendly and welcoming, we had a great waiter that was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The garbage salad is fantastic and the garlic bread is delicious. The fish and chips were good, get the salad over the fries- great meal!

Anthony the bartender gets my vote for service. As I left the bar and forgot to collect my earrings he chased me down. Service was excellent. This was my third visit and the food is excellent. Fish and chips the best I have had from bars in the area. I will be back.!

It was a quick bite that was pretty satisfying. Caught this spot on a Friday night and the shrimp special they had going on was a gem. The service was quick and the environment was good. I would definitely be back again

went to the shucks on Flamingo last night for the first time. We ordered the lamb chop dinner to go. They were not seasoned at all. They were not even edible! we threw out a $40 dinner. Ive been to the n Durango location multiple times, ordered this same dinner, and never had this issue. So disappointing

When I'm in the mood for a great big salad, this is where I go. Everything is crisp and fresh. Seafood Louie is expertly prepared. The black and bleu salad is also divine. I'm going to get the wedge and steak next time! Slight demerits for not having fresh brewed tea. I'm always surprised when a place that can deliver delicious fresh food uses instant tea (and weak from the fountain as well). Brewed tea is so easy. That said, all of the servers have been very sweet, prompt, and generous. Looking forward to my return.

Man those oysters were amazing!! Love hitting up this place every time I'm in town. Great seafood and a wonderful staff!

This is a favorite place to eat while in Vegas, we LOVED the fried oysters, the fried oysters po'boy, shrimp po'boy are delicious, my husband loved the New Orleans style oysters. Cocktails are 10/10 too!

This place is fantastic! The oysters were huge and delicious. Pricing wasn't bad either. I had the expresso martini and it was yummy and didn't skimp on the alcohol. We've been before a few years back and we're not impressed decided to give it another try and so glad we did. Service, ambiance, and food and drink were just awesome!!

This place is definitely a hidden gem. my husband and I decided to go here instead of the oyster bar at Palace Station. I am sooooo glad we did. The service was beyond superb. We never had to ask for anything. We ordered a dozen raw shell oysters for starters and they were fresh and delicious. Our second course was the lamb chop. OMG amazing and cooked to perfection. We also to tried there Lobster Mac and cheese and when I tell you cleaned the bowl. Lastly we decided to get the oysters with crab. (Crab Royale). These were really delicious as well. I recommend going here and eating. Great service super delicious food and amazing price. We definitely will be coming back. Thanks again!! Our new found oyster bar.

Great food, dope vibe, and the bartenders are amazing! I went for just a drink and ended up staying for hours after the bartender was so cool and made the best drinks. Definitely a place I'll be back to again!

I've been frequenting Shucks Tavern for a few years now and they always have solid options on their menu. My go to is the Stuff Prawn appetizer. It's on the appetizer menu but is definitely enough for a full meal. With the four crab stuff prawns, rice with mushrooms and butter sauce and then the cheese bread its very filling. Their fresh seafood is really exceptional as well,especially for being a small bar/eatery in the middle of the desert. The service and wait staff are always pleasant, friendly and prompt. If you're looking for a solid, laid back seafood place off of the strip I definitely recommend

Shucks Tavern is a great spot to eat with the family. I've been twice now and each time I leave feeling happy and fed. The service is hit or miss depending on who you get but that's not to say there's bad servers, there's just servers who forget what you ordered??... Anywho, I'd come here again because there seafood items are yummyyy! I definitely recommend ordering two pounds over one because there's a point when you get to the last crab leg and sadness washes over you as you try to savory every bite. Haha give it a try!! Plus you get a free dessert of your picking for birthdays. 8/10

1st timer here and here's my opinion: Service: 7/10 - the waiter could've been more attentive to our table. We often had to wait to get his attention and wait even more to get refills. Not bad but should be better. Food: Meh...5/10. Oysters appears to have been pre-shucked because they were dry on top. Lots of shell debris, almost chipped a tooth. Garlic Fries were super oily and all the garlic (underdone) were on the bottom, underneath the fries. Why didn't they just top the fries?? Weird thing to do. The entrees (Linguini and Clams - 7/10), (Steak - 6/10). **Salad was good 8/10**

One of my favorite places for a beer and fish and chips. The fish is beer battered and is light and crispy. I always get it with a side clam chowder. Its another one of my favorites there. The chowder always comes out bubbling hot with some oyster crackers on the side. Yummy!

Frank the manager was really sweet had my order corrected quickly. The staff was on it and kind. Plenty of parking, they are also pretty much the only place that is open ALL night with crab legs. The place is very chill.

Place is good. Always enjoy the food. Sorta like shitty chain food but if you're in the right mood it slaps hard

(12/7/21Visit) This was our 2nd visit here and enjoyed the food as much as the 1st time. We sat at the bar, and both bartenders were attentive. Ordered the Fish and Chips and they were wonderful. I had them the 1st time there and enjoyed it, so went with it again. I was not disappointed! I love their fries, very crispy. Varied seafood menu. If it wasn't on the opposite side of town for me, I'd definitely go more often.

I had half oyster po boy and half lobster roll with french fries and onion rings and a side of chili. Food is pretty good the oyster pool boy featured four fried oysters and the lobster roll featured shredded Lobster. The bun tasted fresh along with their lettuce and tomato. French fries and onions are good too. The chili tasted homemade and it was also good

I used to go here all the time for breakfast. As more places opened in the area I started opening, I started trying them out. After several years, I stopped in for dinner, to support local business during the Covid Pandemic. The food is still very fresh and delicious. The bar staff is very friendly, and it's a clean smoke free experience.

My hubby and I stopped in randomly after watching a show on the strip (Legends ... it was fantastic !!). Our server was Omar and he was amazing. Very attentive. We ordered oyster shooters (yum), a dozen oysters (make your own cocktail sauce with ketchup and horseradish. Theirs is too sweet), and 20 wings, half sriracha half garlic Parmesan. Omg to die for ! Didn't want any fries but they came with the wings. These were the bomb !! Called sidewinder fries. Wow !! So good. We had a wonderful spur of the moment late night snack attack and boy was it memorable.
