Shugrue's Restaurant and Brewery Group

Started with the French Onion Soup. The cheese was nothing more than a cheese slice. The bread was almost so hard that I could barely break it apart to eat with the soup. The cheese never got gooey. Whats French Onion Soup without gooey cheese?!The overall taste was just ok, but i wouldn't order it again. For a main course, I ordered the ribeye with a twice baked potato. Asked for medium temp and when the steak came out it was medium well. It was also underseasoned for my taste, which I actually don't mind. The rosemary butter was melted deliciously over the steak which actually helped it retain some moisture. The twice baked was fine. All things considered, if you're set on a steak, it'll do the job, but I'm sure there are better spots locally for a steak.

Great food. Great service. Bacon wrapped shrimp are to die for! Fish & Chips are so good and very large portions. Complimentary bread and butter was delicious also!

My Wife and I enjoyed a really delicious dinner last night at Shugrues. We got there at about 4pm and seated promptly. The lobster tail and filet were perfectly prepared and tender. Loaded potato was awesome! Waitress was very good. Worth the price and the views are amazing! Best food we've had out in a long time.

We got a recommendation by local residents about this restaurant and decided to give it a try. A nice warning greeting once we walked in. Professional staff and great service, with good views of the London bridge. Foods was amazing. The Cajun cream shrimp was a 👍 starter! The Wedge salads was the plus! Then the pineapple salmon and the sea bass both were delicious 😋 We're greatly pleased overall about our decision. We all come back when we visit here again.

In search of Halibut I drove from the gym. Service was prompt. My salad and grilled halibut was deliciously healthy.

We enjoyed excellent food and service while celebrating my wife's birthday. The steak sliders, calamari, and jumbo shrimp tempura were exceptional. The cocktails were also excellent. Our total cost was approximately $85.

I had an amazing soy glaze salmon dish in Va a pineapple boat with a skewer of shrimp on top of jasmine rice. So very delicious! They also gave us a rich chocolatey brownie with ice cream for our anniversary, which was a nice touch❤️❤️❤️ you should definitely check this place out. Our table was overlooking Lake Havasu bridge it was very very nice.

Food was amazing along with the desert. They also have a extensive wine list. Highly recommend.

Amazing!! This is a must when traveling to Lake Havasu. I prefer to sit next to the windows facing the London Bridge. It's a beautiful view in the afternoon. The staff is always a pleasure! My party and I even had drinks with the wait staff upon them closing. They were all so friendly. I almost forgot the food! It may be pricey, but it's definitely worth the experience you get. I will always go back

First, I'd like to mention that we called this afternoon to make a 7 p.m. reservation for Wednesday night--and we were lucky enough to request a window seat! It's nice to see this is possible in October, unlike the busier summer and September periods. From the hostess to the other staff, everyone was welcoming and pleasant. Normally, I'd take advantage of the Wednesday half-off wine bottles, but I skipped it this time since I was with my in-laws. Our server, Jake, provided outstanding service throughout the evening. The view of the bridge and lake was stunning, setting the scene for a perfect night. Jake went the extra mile to make sure everything I ordered was gluten-free for my celiac needs, even double-checking that shared dishes were safe--something I truly appreciated. We started with bacon-wrapped water chestnuts, which were phenomenal, and perfectly cooked Brussels sprouts that were crunchy and flavorful. Every dinner dish was fresh, delicious, and truly exceptional quality!

We've lived in LHC for 5 years and this was our first visit to Shugrue's. Loved the atmosphere. It was busy but not overly so. Just enough to make it fun. The service was top notch and the food was outstanding. Can't wait to go back again.

Great views! The sour cream blueberry pie looked so interesting we had to try it and soo goood! Would go back just for that! Served with ice cream we asked for on the side and glad we did. The pie is great alone! The vanilla ice cream had Carmel on it and it was good however would not have liked on the pie! The calzone is huge! It was good. My friends had a pizza and the chicken. Salad dressings are very good the triple berry balsamic and the garlic ranch parm so good to dip your calzone in!

Very great food. Try the swordfish. The very best. The service here was great. Debbie was great! She really works hard to make your dining experience perfect. The drinks were good. The bar area was nice and had a great view of the London bridge and the river. If you're looking for a really good dinner and great atmosphere this is the place you need to visit for sure.

In town for business and we love this place. Jake was our excellent server. Excellent food and views of the lake. We opted for appetizers and dessert. The crab dip was amazing. Real crab, not imitation. Jake brought us the dessert tray and we had this cake ala mode! Always great food! Be back next trip to LHC.

Man, please listen...I score every meal I have... I am not sure why this place only has 4 stars! They brought out sourdough bread, literally fresh out of the oven, not once, but twice! The butter was a mix that coupled well with the bread...8.1! I had a ribeye with backed potato...8.3... The drinks were awesome as well...7.9... I have a tough scale, much like Dave Portnoy... Overall, 8.2! Stars...4.6!

Honestly good food, service is sometimes good. We've gotten good and bad. All in all not bad for a slightly more upscale meal. Seating is nice view with more private feel.

Wow. Right on the Colorado River with a view of the London Bridge. Scallop and shrimp scampi with spinach was super buttery but delicious; I'm just trying to eat more healthy but it was great! The tuna appetizer was a healthy option with the fish shaped wasabi...unique and a nice touch! Beer was really cold! Then, you know...we had a complimentary decadent chocolate piece of birthday cake with ice cream per request! What a great spot.

She cruises are always go to place. The food is excellent. The service is great. The view of the bridge and the water is amazing. We love going there for happy hour cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. We always go there and you should too.

One of the best restaurants in Lake Havasu by far. The food, service, quality of food, and the large variety cannot be beat. Great views and good for a date spot. The employees were very friendly.

Roasted duck dish with orange sauce. Perfectly roasted skin and the duck was very tender . The orange sauce was very tasteful . Duck is a very hard dish to pull off , this restaurant did fantastic job .

The food was very fresh and absolutely made to order. I have many food allergies which they took more seriously than 99% of restaurants. Our server, I believe was Aaron, was the epitome of service and class. The entire team just did great, serving us and working together. Very polite to us and each other. Normally I do not give 5 stars, but I was very impressed by the service. Wine list was extremely well built, great levels of variety and costs. The decor is a little dated but still very clean, comfortable and cozy.

I had chicken piccata and my buddy had a salad with salmon. Both dishes we're pretty damn good. The views were great and too bad. I don't drink anymore cause it looked like it had a nice beer menu.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Havasu, so far. It's la classy place right on the water. On my latest trip, I was dining solo for an early dinner before the boat parade. My server, James, treated me like a queen. I told him that I knew the table was reserved for the parade, but he didn't rush me. Dining alone can be awkward at times, especially when the table is reserved later, but I felt comfortable. I had the poke bowl and warm sour dough bread, with soft butter with the house Sauvignon Blanc. Everything was perfect! I look forward to my next experience.

We had a tasty meal at Shugrue's to celebrate birthdays with family. You can get a table with a beautiful view of the river and London Bridge from inside the restaurant. It was way too hot to even attempt to sit outside when we visited. We had a very friendly server who made sure our drink orders were perfect and offered lots of help when trying to pick out the perfect meal. We picked salads, steaks and grilled fish....sampling it all. The steaks were nicely seasoned and cooked to the requested temperatures. The halibut was grilled and very flavorful.

Dined here with three friends last night. We didn't have terribly high expectations after all it's a tourist restaurant in a tourist town. But overall, it was a positive experience with some issues. We have to be seated by the window overlooking the London Bridge as there were several empty tables when we arrived for our 5 o'clock reservation. We were told those tables were reserved, but when we left 90 minutes later, two of them were still empty. The thing that irked me the most was the blatant attempt by the waitress to oversell us. She wasn't exactly the most positive upbeat person but I understand because this is a tourist town that doesn't necessarily keep a positive attitude towards tourists. She asked the first person in our party if they wanted soup or salad. They said salad. She then asked the next person in our party if they wanted soup or salad and they were smart enough to ask if it was included.... The answer was no. Needless to say the first canceled their salad order. There's no reason for that other than a blatant attempt to take advantage of tourists, and it really set up a poor precedent for the rest of the meal. Two of us had the onion soup appetizer, which was very tasty, but strangely thick like a chowder. Too much flour or cornstarch, or some other thickener. The stuffed salmon was delicious, as was the halibut and the seared tuna salad. However I cannot recommend the seafood paella. I knew I was in trouble when it first arrived as they had melted cheese all over the top of it. Proof positive that not everything is better with melted cheese on top. The taste was rather one note as the excessive pepper and sausage, overwhelmed the rest of the dish. Other than the cranky, overselling waitress, the rest of the staff was terrific as our water was constantly refilled, as was the fresh baked really sourdough bread. So generally a positive experience, but but there are a few better restaurants in town that are worth looking into.

The food is always good! The service is A-Mazinng!! Everyone is so sweet and energetic. Santos and Rosie are my favorites behind the bar. My favorite waitress is Sharon with her lil helper Dana. They go above and beyond to accommodate all your needs. Wednesday is my favorite night to go since it is half off wine night.

We came here Sunday night of Labor Day weekend. We sat at a high top in the bar area and were able to enjoy the beautiful views of London Bridge lit up at night. Sharon's service was excellent. She had huge tables of people she was also waiting on but was very prompt with our service. I got a bottle of Chandon, which was just ok. I ordered the Garlic Crusted Halibut. The fish itself wasn't that great but the sauce on top was phenomenal. The scallops were very fishy and I didn't eat them. The roasted potatoes were so dry it was hard to eat them. I recommend ordering their baked potato instead. Ben though the French Onion soup was ok. He wasn't a fan of the Duckhorn glass of wine he ordered.

Shugrue's never disappoints. Food is amazing. Totally a 5 star experience. Our waitress Erinn was amazing and made the evening so very enjoyable. If I could asign 10 stars I would.

We always visit Shugrues whenever we visit Havasu. Love the food and view! The staff to us has always been fun. The steaks and salads are really freakin good! So is the clam chowder! Just be prepared the salad comes with an overwhelmingly amount of dressing (I love it but can imagine some people not liking it). Prices are high! But the. Again, it's a great view and food. Lastly, if you don't make a reservation you'll be waiting a LONG time so be sure to call ahead.

I am proving a 4 star review because the service was amazing! The waiter was attentive to our needs and encourage the menu to our tastes. However I got the tomahawk steak and it was bland. The cook was ok but I definitely needed their horseradish. Food was fine but the service was great, plus the dining room was nice!

Window view was cool. Staff was very inviting and helpful. Food was great and my steak was perfectly cooked.

This is one of the nicest restraunts in town very high class and I would say one of the best views in town! They have great specials always something new to try!

This fine dining establishment is a must for steak and seafood. It has been a Havasu staple since 1988. The food is amazing and the view of the London Bridge is also amazing. The service was exceptional, will be back soon.

Shugrue's Bakery is exceptional, offering some of the best cakes and pastries I've ever tasted. However, their excellence goes beyond baking. In May, I spoke with Lindsey about making a cake and butterfly cookies for a remembrance gathering for my 26-year-old daughter, who passed away on July 4, 2023. The event was scheduled to be held in Lake Havasu City at the end of June 2024. Lindsey was incredibly understanding and compassionate about our situation. She and the entire bakery team went above and beyond to make this occasion very special for all of us. We are forever grateful to her and the bakery. Thank you all for your support and kindness.

The prompt and friendly service was matched by their excellent food! Had a dirty martini to start with the clam chowder. My wife had the Mahi Mahi and I had the garlic crusted Halibut. Wife loved hers and mine was phenomenal. Well portioned, flaky and flavorful! Plus they were accompanied by 3 scallops!

Love eating here the food is great, the service is good and love the decor. Teppanyaki Chefs are great. Love the Sushi bar all the Sushi Chefs are great!

Way too long of a wait for our 6pm reservation, food was middling at best, and far too expensive for what it was.

Been going to Shugrue's for over 20 years no doubt they are the very best in Lake Havasu Great food, great service, and a great view of the London Bridge channel.

It feels really serendipitous that my first review in 2024 is about Shugrue's. My Westie Bestie lives in Lake Havasu City and every time we visit, which is often, we manage to get in a meal at this wonderful restaurant. We were there again as a 6-top just before the new year. As usual, they didn't disappoint. The food was great and executed exactly to order. Our server was awesome but save me, I can't remember her name! We were reserved at 6 for 6 on the 29th. Someone look it up and give her kudos please. The service is always fantastic though. This crew knows exactly what it's doing so expect good service! I have to also say, there's a server we often get and she kills it every time. Another name to escape me.... She's statuesque (keeping in mind that I've mostly seen her while I'm sitting down lol) and she's a very pretty Cinderella blonde who . The host stand in staff will smiles and helpful welcoming attitudes so shout out to those lovelies! The drinks are well poured and show up quickly. It's super relaxed or fancy, you decide. Go check them out when you're in town. I'd say you've got a 95% chance of an excellent experience. That's 5% in honor of Murphy's Law.

Great food and great people! This is definitely one of our Lake Havasu favorites... We had the steak and lobster and it was incredible! French onion soup is the best you'll have.

Haven't tried this place yet and went here tonight with my mom, brother and sister who all live here. I was visiting. My brother has been here before but none of us had been. We were so impressed. It was a lovely restaurant with beautiful decor. We had the BEST server in Daniel. He was the greatest. The service was just top notch. The food was as great as the server and the look of the restaurant. My pretzel coated pork chop with the mustard/balsamic sauce was just delish. So tasty. My mom got the porterhouse and it was cooked perfect. The desserts are just amazing. Thanks again Daniel for the most amazing service. We had a wonderful evening.

Such a fun place! We absolutely love both our waitress (I forgot her name but honestly one of the sweetest most down to earth people out there) and we also loved the cow zones!

I just celebrated my 15 year wedding anniversary at Shugrues. the best night of my life! we used the bridge view room. Tom was amazing. Jonic was the most helpful man EVER. Santos was the best bartender. and Brent was amazing. I have nothing but positive things to say. I would hold any event there with that crew!

Shugrue's - come for the view, stay for the food and drink. You can't beat the view of London Bridge. While you are enjoying it, order a cocktail and some food. The Corned Beef Sliders are tasty and the Cajun Cream Shrimp is filling. Both are nice Happy Hour offerings. Shugrue's has a nice mix of tourist and locals. There are a lot of regulars here so the bar area is always packed. The service is friendly and accommodating and as I said, there is no better view of the bridge. Definitely worth a stop.

This is one we had been waiting for as we made a reservation weeks in advance since it was Christmas Eve dinner. Good thing we did or we wouldn't have gotten in. I'm sure it was because it was so busy, but we waited almost 20 minutes for our drinks (wine and old fashioned). Drinks were slow all night, again I'm sure due to the number of people. Started with the crab cakes and they were just ok. The butter that came with the bread, eventually, was great! Wife really liked the French Onion Soup and my Cesar Salad was good as well. My wives Crab Stuffed Salmon was very good and MASSIVE. I went with the ribeye and it was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The cut was pretty and had very little fat actually. I am glad they added a bit of the butter on top to add in some flavor, which is hard to type for a $68 steak. The wait staff appeared to be working hard, and our waitress was very friendly, just probably a bit understaffed for the evening. We sat at the back of the restaurant, so couldn't see the views overlooking the bridge, but it was very private. Would probably try it again but just couldn't give it a 5th star.

We ate here over the wknd. Our reservation and service were prompt. My husband ordered the paella and could barely make a dent in it. He thought the whole dish tasted like andouille. My Asian glazed salmon on the other hand, was pretty good. Make sure you try to snag a window seat here for the view.

Okay here we go: we looked for a restaurant near our rented condo and this came up with good reviews. Service is good (thanks Kevin!)- swordfish, poke bowl, steak and quesadilla were fantastic! Out view is pretty amazing- can't beat the London Bridge while eating. I recommend this place.

So good! I have been coming here forever. We have a place at the Isles & have walked here consistently since the late 80's. The bar seating is fabulous. Bartenders are attentive and nice. Menu is amazing. I love the lamb chops. The steaks are always good. Over the years I have had the crab cakes and the seafood pastas. Again, always good. This is a great spot for a good/nice dinner in Havasu. Affordable and always nice servers and bartenders.
