The inside of this place is a lot bigger than you would think from the outside. Even before walking in, you see a lot of history about Don Shula. I didn't even know he had his own steakhouse. The dining area is very dark and seems intimate but relaxing at the same time.
I had placed my order with Will in the bar area. He was super nice and helpful, he made sure I had warm bread and butter with my order.
We had ordered:
1. Bacon wrapped shrimped - huge size of shrimp wrapped with crispy flavorful bacon topped with like a bbq sauce that cut the saltiness of the bacon
2. Filet mignon 10 ounce with 2 jumbo shrimp - I had ordered this medium, and it was well done. It was a nice cut and flavorful, just dry. Over cooked, I was disappointed. The shrimp was ok but not worth adding in the future.
3. Side of baked potato - sad, sad baked potato. I hate to say this, but even after adding all the fix ins, I would compare this to Wendy's. It's not worth it.
4. Macaroni and cheese - It was good, but I feel like it needed something more. Like bacon bits or crunchy bread crumbs on top.
5. Complimentary bread and butter-Amazing, bread was warm and pre cut, so all you had to do was pull it and add butter. I'm sad to say this was one of it main highlights.
Will made sure my order was complete and that I had everything I needed. Sadly, I don't think I'll be back. Maybe it was an off day, but the price is not worth it.
