Shoutoku Honten Megumi

While in Tokyo and around the Tsukiji fish market we decided to do some Omakase, and as Japan generally speaking you can never be disappointed, a very delicious sushi just on point sushi. Since we can’t talk Japanese the chef was so attentive and always tried to read our eyes of what and what not we like. SUPER SERVICE.

I typically do not give one-star reviews. But We did not have a pleasant experience with the restaurant. We experienced issues making a reservation. The restaurant issued a cancelation notice for our booking several days after we made reservation, so we made another booking on a different day. They somehow canceled us again one day prior. We had to ask the hotel to communicate with them to re-book us. We were also presented with a different menu compared with the locals who dined there. We were only presented with the set/omakase menu, and the food/seafood served us really didn’t worth that price. We are surprised to see the restaurant has so many good reviews.

日本一最高級のうには　はだてです! 最高旨い! Sushi tastes great and fresh with great hospitality and service. This shop is the newest one under the same group 秀徳. Love this place a lot. Less crowded and interior looks authentic. The chef who served me named 一重直二 is very skillful. Can speak some English and willing to talk with customers. Store manger/chef is also great. Sushi sets has 3 choices. I picked the 2nd one. All the sushi are very delicious and with various favors. I also had another additional piece of hadate uni, on top of the set. That uni is known as the best uni in Japan. It’s very delicious, creamy, sweet with long-lasting after taste. Very unique from other common uni. It’s really worth trying. If you prefers a quiet and authentic sushi place with great and fresh sushi and great service, I do recommend this place a lot. It’s also under the same famous 秀徳。For me, I really want to go there again.

Shuutoku is the best sushi restaurant around this Tsukiji area. My recommendation menu is ¥4,200 omakase course. This is high quality sushi and very very reasonable price. In addition, they serve nice sake. It should be memorable experience.

Highly recommend everyone who goes to Tsukiji market to stop by this hidden gem. Reasonable price with high quality of sushi. We ordered the 4200yen set that comes with 10 sushi and 1 sushi roll. Also recommend to pair sushi with sake. Couldn’t be any better - the freshest sushi you can get. Brilliant!

Every piece of sushi was delicious, the service was absolutely great with lovely staff. The atmosphere was very comfortable. Made my day!!! Highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to visit again :) 🍣

I can say it is the best sushi restaurant in Tsukiji market ! There is many branches for the 秀徳 group and I think overall it is the best among all . Very fresh and delicious Edo nigiri sushi ! Chefs are professional yet very friendly to talk to , sharing the information about the seasonal seafood . Ambience is good and recommend you to take the counter seats , as it is way enjoyable watching the chef preparing the wonderful sushi . It is a birthday lunch for my husband and so glad he likes it very much . The shop is kind of new and is a street away from the market, so it is easy to secure a table . Highly recommend! Restaurant open till 3 pm

Had an amazing dining experience here. Friendly chef who does everything with extreme finesse. Superb fish. High quality ingredients. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!!!
