extremely disappointed with the service standards at this restaurant.
I hosted my company dinner here on 12 February 2026, booking a private room with two tables.
From start to finish, Throughout the entire dinner, the service staff showed no initiative. No one topped up wine or tea, no one cleared the table after Lo Hei, no plates were changed after the fish course and any course.
Every single basic service had to be requested. We had to repeatedly leave the private room to look for a waitress just to top up tea, ask for chilli, or clear used plates. The only time they come in is to bring the new course on the table, and remove the old course, if the course is not finished, they just leave it on the table and don’t bother to change it into a smaller plates which is the standard for dinner like this.
Despite the lack of service, we still gave red packets to the staff handling our tables , which in hindsight feels undeserved.
After dinner, the takeaway food was not packed properly. It was left at a corner with no takeaway bags provided, and no staff informed us. In the end, we were unable to bring the food home and had to leave it behind.
Under the dinner package I ordered, it included 2 bottles of Moutai Prince and 2 packets of Sichuan Douhua bak kwa. When we were leaving around 9pm, there was no staff around, and no one bothered to pass these items to us. I had to call the restaurant the next day to follow up and then make an extra trip down just to collect what was already paid for.
On top of that, I had made a SGD 1,000 deposit during booking, which was supposed to be deducted from the final bill. Only after checking the receipt the next day did we realise it was not deducted at all. I had to call the restaurant to chase this, and it is currently still going through a refund process.
What finally pushed me to write this review was my experience on 13 February 2026, the following day.
When I went down to collect the items the restaurant forgot to give us, I decided to have dinner there with my partner. I booked a table for 2 pax and ordered a 3-course meal. One of the course, never arrived until We had already finished the entire meal from soup to rice and other two courses, and waited an additional 10–15 minutes.
We asked about the fish twice, and it was still not served. Eventually, we gave up and asked for the bill.
This is not an isolated incident , it shows a systemic service failure. For a restaurant positioning itself at this level, the service is disorganised, inattentive, and unreliable.
