Pretty unpleasant experience.
Starting with the reservation, it was impossible to make as the phone kept ringing into the void and I never received a reply to my email.
Fortunately, when we arrived, we were able to secure a seat on the second floor.
Although, I still wonder how differently abled people can reach and enjoy the various floors beside the ground floor...
We didn't have much time to sit before a sullen employee started asking for our order.
For the cocktails, we chose from the classic section and opted for a plate of hummus. After that, the waiter provided us with a few glasses of water and some taralli.
In our opinion, the cocktails were completely unbalanced.
The 'Aviation' did not contain any Maraschino liqueur, while the 'Paper plane' was very herbal, which indicates a strong hand was used to pour Amaro Nonino.
And the best food was the taralli, the only food on the table that they don't make, when we saw a large commercial box of them in the kitchen as we made our way down the stairs.
Meanwhile, the employee kept being disgruntled and rolled his eyes at us multiple times, not helping turn this experience into a more positive one.
In the end, the location is unique and worth a visit. However, the food and drinks were far below our expectations, and a major issue was that the service was so unsatisfactory.
