"My current favorite restaurant takes a Mexico City approach in the former James Beach space; even though it’s pan-Latin American, its energy, vibe, and the way the dishes are composed puts me right back in Mexico City." - Mona Holmes

The venue was hip with high chairs and tables outside. There were also some seats inside. Service was friendly but could be faster. Prices were decent, however the quality of the food could be improved. Menu was kind of varied but limited at the same time. Good cocktail and wine menu. Overall, a different venue in Mexico City to get some type of Spanish “tapas” but mostly charcuterie and strong cheeses.

This is a great place to discover Mexican wines. If you’re like my wife and me and know almost nothing about the different wines produced in Mexico, I recommend going here. They have a fantastic tasting (2 whites, 1 rosé, 2 reds) in addition to other really good options by the glass. The food options are decent. We had a cheese and charcuterie board that was excellent. Special mention to the duck cold cut (I’m guessing it was magret)- very unique and tasty. And the service was just as great. Monica was our server and she was very nice and made great recommendations.

All of the ingredients are sourced within Mexico. Everything we tried was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable to sit, drink and snack for hours.

I joined a wine tasting they offered and it was a really nice experience learning more about these particular Mexican wines called “Beasts” from the Baja California region. I also had a Margarita pizza and the olives both recommended. The dressings offered were fantastic!

One of the best wine bars we’ve been to! All wines, cheeses and meats are local to Mexico. Our waiter was incredibly helpful in helping us choose a wine and also spoke great English. We ended up going with a Mexican Malbec, our waiter’s favorite grape, which was incredible and paired well with the charcuterie board. The board was beautifully presented and everything had a unique flavor while still all pairing nicely together. Can’t wait to come back here!

For a wine bar the wine menu has room for improvement, it has no descriptions, pairing suggestions or anything of that nature. The food is what you would expect from a bar, nothing complex. The service was slow and has plenty of room for improvement.

Excellent Mexican wines with a tasting presented by Cesar that makes us think that Mexican wines will be the next big thing in wine. The atmosphere is great building was clean if a little small but a good time was had by all. Thanks Cesar.
