Montreal’s Newest Microbrewery Is Now Dispensing on the Plateau — and Other Openings | Eater Montreal

"Expanded from Brossard, it's opened a downtown location in Hôtel Le Crystal on de la Montagne and Rene-Levesque — a welcome shuffle in hotel dining away from the usual 'continental' menus, and one of very few Thai restaurants of note in the inner core alongside PhayaThai." - Tim Forster

Semi-fine dining at an incredible price point - a rare find! The default 4-course meal for $50 is an absolute steal. Getting this level of quantity and quality at a 5-star restaurant is extremely rare. In my opinion, it’s easily enough food for two people. I’d actually recommend ordering just one of these for two, plus a separate main dish if you feel you need more. The “Mango Sticky Rice” cocktail is one of my favourite cocktails in all of Montreal. It’s a little on the sweet side, but when paired with spicy Thai food, it becomes a truly heavenly combination. Even some of the best cocktail bars in the city- with drinks priced at $25–30 -felt subpar compared to the experience of this $17 cocktail.

Every time I visit Montreal, I always go to Siam centre-ville or the one at Quartier Dix30. This time we were at the downtown location and had an amazing experience. Our server, Oliver, was super helpful and accommodating. He was also friendly very knowledgeable of the menu. Our group had a great time. My favourite dish is beef paneng curry. Their appetizer platter also never disappoints. We tried the mango sticky rice mocktail and loved it, as well as the lychee sangria was crisp and light - went well with the food. Highly recommend this restaurant and will be back asking for Oliver the next time we come into town.

Anniversary Dinner at Oliver and Julienne – A Wonderful Experience We came to Siam, welcomed by our servers, Oliver and Julienne, to celebrate a friends anniversary, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. Despite serving a large party of around 30–40 guests that night, the staff remained incredibly attentive and hospitable. They checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. I especially like the seafood curry. The wine recommendations were spot-on, and they even let me sample a few before choosing the one I liked best. The team’s energy and friendliness truly stood out. You can tell they love what they do, and it made the entire evening feel warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had dinner here during our stay at the Warwick Hotel, drawn in by the excellent reviews—and it truly delivered. This was our first Thai fine dining experience in Montreal, and it exceeded expectations. We ordered the Tom Kah Shrimp Soup, Fried Vegetable Spring Rolls, Pad Thai, Rolled Printanier Sticky Toffe Mango rice, Chocolate Lava Cake and a Strawberry Mojito. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of vibrant flavors. The quality and attention to detail were clear in every bite. Our server, Loi, was kind, professional, and made us feel very welcome. The menu is concise but well-curated, offering a thoughtful selection of dishes. We’ll definitely return on our next visit to Montreal!

Service extremely slow. It was a busy night but we waited 25 minutes before we were asked our drink order. I had the salmon. Very fresh and delicious ingredients including the fried rice. Flavorful and good. When server did arrive he was engaging and kind.

Went here on Saturday night, food was delicious, although the service was very slow. The entree arrived and we still had not received our drinks, my boyfriend wanted a water refill he had to ask twice, and they were not removing the dirty entree plates we had to ask them to do so. When the bills came they were all mix up with who ordered what, I had an overcharge of 3$ on my bill, waiter said he would leave it as is and to give less tip but had a face when I left 9%. You can’t give bare minimum service and still expect 15%. In my opinion one visit was sufficient.

Our server Umair was excellent! It was our first time dining at the restaurant, and they made the entire experience special. The food was fresh, flavorful and presented beautifully. A really lovely dining experience!

enjoyed my food listening to Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj's "beauty and the beat" playing from the restaurant's speaker not sure if someone was just playing their fire playlist or if that was the radio
