Where To Eat & Drink In Eastlake

"Siam is a Thai restaurant that’s a perfect spot if you’ve procrastinated in planning a big group dinner. There are always open tables and everything on the menu is shareable, from the appetizer platter loaded with satays and spring rolls to the very excellent crab fried rice (the best thing here). And you’re in fantastic hands with any of the curries, which are thick, creamy, and taste great when ladled on top of the crab fried rice." - aimee rizzo

Google
Good place to get Thai food. Lovely interior with great service. They have complimentary soup on weekdays for lunch. Big portion sizes. Chicken was just okay but the noodles and flavor were good. Mild spicy wasn’t spicy at all. I’d come back!

Nice place to try in Eastlake. The place is much bigger than what I thought it was on the outside from driving by daily. Their staff is nice and attentive. Went with my husband for a quick bite, he ordered a wonton soup, we shared a chicken satay and I got a tom kha soup small size with chicken and it was just what I needed with the current weather. They have their own parking garage and they have a nice bar, that I’m sure I will be back to try it out.

What a wonderful experience! Wow! I was so thrilled to have such a tranquil and relaxed dinner with my love. It was Sunday evening and we had the place to ourselves. The staff was so kind, patient, and attentive. We had a lovely time for a nice birthday celebration. Everything tastes fresh and delicious and some unique offerings that other restaurants don’t have! Great location in the retro Eastlake - brings me back to the 90s haha! Thanks so much for a great time.

Google
The food here is amazing. I like Siam fired rice a lot, especially the spice is legit.

Google
So delicious everything! We got Khao Soi noodle, which is kinda hard to find dish around here and they nailed it! Tom Yum noodle is a bomb! Service is top-notch. Authenticity approved by my Thai father :)

I have been dining at this place for the last 4 years because it is next to my workplace (Dine in and take-out). Mainly ordering different noodles and curry. Food is great and service is good. Portion size is shrinking a little bit over year but understandable given the macroeconomic situation. Highly recommended and will continue ordering from Siam.

Google
If I could give 6 stars, I would!! The service was incredible and the staff was so kind. The food was AMAZING! I hope everyone tries this place put at least once. I think you'll get hooked on it.

Google
Excellent service and good portions for a higher end Thai restaurant!

Yelp
Arrived ~8p on a Tuesday night and the place was pretty empty. Service was quick and our server was super nice! We had a food allergy in the group, and the waitress was extremely knowledgeable about which food had gluten and which didn't. We were all very happy with how yummy the food was, and the portion sizes are huge!! All the dry noodles could easily be 2 meals or even stretched to 2.5. The chicken satay was not dry at all and comes with 6 pieces, toast, sauce, and a cucumber salad. That in itself could be a meal! The noodles were all cooked very well and the duck soup had a generous amount of duck.

Yelp
We walked in with a party of 8 around 7:30pm and they were able to accommodate us right away. The service was very friendly and fairly quick. We ordered many dishes to share family style and everything was a hit. They even brought out spices on the side for those of us who wanted to make the dishes spicier. Great stop on our Seattle trip!

Yelp
This place tries really hard and they're so nice. Definitely recommend. Easy Togo orders too. And fresh yum

Yelp
We live near this restaurant and frequently eat here or do takeout. The staff out friendly, attentive, and always ready to help their guests. The food has improved over the years and we really like the pineapple fried rice!

Yelp
Sooooooo good my favorite spot in Eastlake. Always so fresh and good and the ambiance is chill and relaxed. The nicest staff too.

Yelp
Just moved to Eastlake and this is going to be the go-to Thai spot I can tell. Great pad Thai, fresh rolls, and what more do you really need?

Yelp
Solid Thai food with an appropriate range of dishes. Happy Hour cocktails are delicious

Yelp
I have been going to Siam for many years with my family. I don't know if ownership has changed or what but the food has definitely declined through the years. There is no flavor as in no spice and they are very cheap with the meat. I ordered Beef Fried Rice, there was four pieces of beef in it?? .

Lara S.

Yelp
Best Thai food around!!!! Awesome service and atmosphere as well. Would highly recommend getting the tofu phad Thai and green beans.

Zach H.

Yelp
Our "neighborhood Thai joint." Order from them at least once every few weeks and always appreciate their quick service and dependably tasty dishes with solid portion sizes. Their beef Phad See Ew is very good and a usual for me. They often run out of fresh rolls later in the day so we've been out of luck on a few occasions when ordering. A great all around restaurant and Eastlake establishment.

Yelp
Got take out from this place. Ordered the jungle chicken and it was just okay, I liked the sauce but the chicken itself was kind of dry and didn't have a nice texture. The flavor was good because of the sauce and I liked the rice. It was a little expensive for what I got though.

Yelp
Extremely rude, rushed service. I order takeout often and like to grab a drink while I wait for our order. They never seem to be able to understand this concept and seem to want to rush me away. I explain that I just put an order in online and would like to enjoy a drink while waiting. Inevitably, panic ensues, the server/hostess starts rushing around and goes back to talk to the kitchen to rush the order. I could understand it if they were super busy and trying to turn tables, but it's never very crowded (especially the bar) so it just doesn't make sense why they wouldn't want someone to spend money having a drink or 2.

Yelp
This place deserves 10 stars for amazing customer service. Wow!! Wow!! Trust me when I tell you their customer service is beyond anything I have eEVER experience before. I wanted to to hug the lady when I was leaving the restaurant. Wow!! It's all I can say. It's like eating at your grandmas and you are the favorite grandchild. This was the first time I have eaten here. I let my friend pick my meal since he had been here before. Food was HIGH quality food. Delicious!!! I will be back. Service was quick, so it's a great place to go during lunch. Give these amazing people your business! These days it's hard to find such amazing service.

Yelp
Still find this place great. Some of the best Thai in my opinion. Service can be lacking but doesn't bother me if I'm waiting for food that tastes good.

Max D.

Yelp
This is my go to Thai restaurant in Eastlake. Food is great and generally quick. I especially like the pad see ew.

Yelp
Thirty years ago this restaurant was at the north end of Broadway on Capitol Hill, and it was my introduction to Thai food. I was newly arrived in Seattle from the Midwest via a few months in Tucson. It was incredibly exotic and DELICIOUS! Soon I was returning once a week for Phad Thai or Swimming Angel. Now I live on the Eastside but I think I'll return and see if it still holds that magic. (My adoration of Thai food took me to Thailand in early 2020. I will definitely return, for the people and the food!)

Yelp
I have to admit I was skeptical about coming into a very nice Thai restaurant and expecting Americanize Thai food. This is a very nice upscale restaurant with Thai authenticity! I usually like to go into hole in the wall Asian restaurants and take a chance on more authentic cuisine taste and flavors, Siam on Eastlake didn't disappoint. The service was splendid and the food tasted amazing! I would recommend taking your date here for a lovely evening dinner with great food without breaking the bank! Saw dee kah!!! Or however you say it lol!!!

Yelp
Pad Thai review: the worst Pad Thai I have EVER tasted in my life. I ordered 4 star spice and there is no spice at all/ all I taste is ketchup. Gross. The noodles are soggy and the dish is mostly noodles. Other items we get like the satay, fresh rolls, jungle chicken, cashew chicken, broccoli chicken and organe chicken have all been great. But the pad Thai is so bad, dont waste the calories or money.
google avatar

Yelp
Whether we are picking up or dining in, this is our go to restaurant for Thai cuisine. The food is great, prepared quickly and all served by their friendly staff.

Rowan F.

Yelp
Staff are always friendly, even when dining shortly before closing. Last time I was given extra rice with my to-go box because they simply had some left that night! The food itself is some of the better Thai I've had around Seattle. They have a lot of variety on the menu and everything I've had has clearly been made fresh. There used to be an abundance of decent Thai spots in Seattle but several have closed in the last few years. I'm glad Siam has stayed open!

Yelp
Awesome servers, super attentive. They brought out a soup as a starter that wasn't charged, but I was unfortunately unable to eat it since it had celery in it (allergy). My husband enjoyed my bowl for me and said it was really good. I liked that there was an option to either have steamed or fried gyoza (went with steamed) depending on preference. All of us enjoyed our food - Phad Thai, Phad Ka-Na, and jungle chicken. I got a 3 star and it was the perfect amount of spice to not overtake the other flavors in the dish. The portion sizes are good for the price too! The restaurant is very clean and modern. We will definitely be back since our friend lives very close by and we all love Thai food.

Yelp
Giving this 5 because it doesn't deserve to be 3.5. The food and atmosphere was great. Wait staff was kind and food came out quickly and was delicious. Recommend: pad-see-ew, masamun curry!

Yelp
Ordered and picked up our dinner from last night...crab fried rice, ginger salmon and garlic prawn!! I selected 4 on the spicy scale for all dishes and they did not disappoint!! Very spicy, VERY tasty and each dish was distinctly satisfying with flavor, texture and color!! I didn't take photos because after I opened the containers and smelled the deliciousness my phone had to take an L for not getting to eat!!

Yelp
A very strong 4+. From LA, and live right in Thai Town, so am pretty picky when it comes to Thai. I don't know Seattle well yet, so came here on a whim with a coworker, who also had never been. It's absolutely delicious. The flavors were strong, but nothing overbearing. Well balanced, with real spice levels - but the spice and heat doesn't overtake the flavors. Everything was very well done. Will keep coming back! Had fresh rolls. Spring rolls. Pad Thai. And Panang curry. I am especially picky about my pad Thai. So many places make it bland - Siam's was one of the best I've had. Service is fast - almost tooooo fast. They have a couple servers that are rude. A couple that are wonderful. And a couple who are solid, but just average during rush hour vibes. Interior is super cute. Definitely stop by!!!

Yelp
loved this place. Came here for lunch with my friend that works nearby. We ordered pad see ew and the swimming angel. if you love peanuts the swimming angel is for you. Comes with chicken and spinach. Pad see eww was one of the best i've had for any thai restaurant. Will definitely return and highly recommend. Not sure if the menu item prices change drastically from lunch to dinner, but for both of us was less than 30 with tip.

Yelp
Great staff and yummy food. I recommend this restaurant. It's also in a convenient location with easy parking.

Yelp
I've been living in Eastlake for a few years now and this is my Thai place! I love Siam. Their pad see ew with chicken and green curry are amazing, wonderful, and delicious! 10/10 recommend. BUT BE WARNED - this review is 4 stars because they have the worst (HIGHLIGHT WORST) pad thai I have ever had. If you're judging a Thai restaurant based on their pad thai, BE GONE. You will be very unhappy. Everything else is great, including their spring rolls. If you stick to the pad see ew instead you won't be disappointed!!

Curtis M.

Yelp
I really enjoy eating at this restaurant. They have a full selection of drink options. I ordered the garlic delight entree. It tasted healthier than most Thai food restaurants. Everything seems home cooked and authentic. This is by far the best place for Thai food in Seattle.
google avatar

Ben K.

Yelp
Best Thai food in Seattle by far! I highly recommend the "Authentic" Pad Thai.
google avatar

Mateo G.

Yelp
What a spot. This place has never disappointed me. It always slaps. Every time! I have tried several things and they all are just amazing. I highly recommend the pad see ew. There's just something about their recipe that makes me crave their food. Top 5 spots in Seattle personally. Hands down. You got my business for the years to come!

Marilyn G.

Yelp
FOOD was perfect. Spring Rolls, yellow curry and wonton soup!!! Perfection for all Go eat there!
google avatar

Ginny C.

Yelp
The pad kee mao was REALLY GOOD! I also liked the pad Thai but the consistency changed pretty quickly because of the steam in the togo box. I would recommend eating it asap in the car if you order of Thai. I think the pad see ew was my least favorite. They have a selection so I would come back and get the pad kee mao along with something new.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered wonton soup spicy =3. After Mike's Noodle House this was a blessing. It's obviously not traditional Chinese, and heavy on the basil, but so good. I don't know if I will ever order Thai from here since it cam only go downhill from 5 stars.
google avatar

Kenny V.

Yelp
Pretty good, but not great. Ambiance and decor is modern and very nice. Service is good and attentive, but I'd say they weren't particularly friendly or personable. The phad Thai was pretty good, yet "pretty good" Thai food leads me to put it into the average category. Portion size was on the small side as well. I give it 3.5 stars because of how nice the restaurant looks. Would maybe visit again.
google avatar

Jason S.

Yelp
I have been coming here regularly for over a year. And with each visit, the service gets worse and worse. The wait here is horrendous. I called to place my order, the person taking the call could not get the order right so I said I'd just come in. I waited 15 mins and had to leave. But I need to bring home dinner and the food IS good so I came back. I've been here over an hour and my to go order that was supposed to be ready in 15 minutes is still not ready. No acknowledgement from the staff. There are folks waiting to be sat that have been standing at the door for 20 mins. No acknowledgement from the staff. They see them, the staff are looking right at them, but now acknowledgement. I don't care anymore if this was cooked by Gordon Ramsay and served on solid gold plates, this is beyond reasonable.
google avatar

Julia P.

Yelp
The people who work there are all kind and helpful! The basil fried rice with tofu is SO GOOD!! I also recommend the vegetarian fresh rolls with peanut sauce :) yum. They are doing takeout and are careful about sanitizing the credit card machine/wearing masks/etc.
google avatar

Jan C.

Yelp
The four stars is for their Happy Hour menu. The food is good, not great, but the happy hour menu has lots of choices with decent prices. Food ordered with 2* had a good level of heat in it. Service was fast, attentive and friendly. Atmosphere is nice, although the furnishings in the bar area need some updating (some chairs/booths have tears in the seating).
google avatar

Barbara K.

Yelp
We used to eat here years ago, so decided to get takeout. They gave my husband the wrong dish - Pad thai instead of pad see eew, which he didn't like - too sweet. My pad woon sen was unlike any I've ever had. It had no taste, just a lot of oil and chunks of pork, some veggies. So disappointing. To their credit, when he called and told them of the mistake they credited his card.

anonymous b.

Yelp
The appetizers are pretty good, but most of the dishes are just average and way too expensive for what you get.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by for dinner on a Saturday cold winter night. We thought it was about 7pm since it was so dark, but alas, it was only about 4:30. Still, a bowl of soup and some warm spicy Thai food sounded perfect! The restaurant was pretty empty, except for the bar area, where they have plenty of open seating, booths and high top tables. We were promptly delivered the Happy Hour menu, which, much to my surprise had all the appetizers, soups and "small plates" of the dishes we'd normally order. The Tom Yum was soup-er tasty! Very fragrant, and loaded with chicken and mushrooms, this dish knocked it out of the park. I had enough to pack home and holy cow, on day 2 it was even better. My partner had the Tom Kha and was also very pleased... gobbled it all up so he had none to take home, poor soul. The other stand out dish was the Panang Curry. For a "small plate" size, it was quite large, and again, loaded with chicken, peppers and aromatics. Also very tasty on day 2! The appetizers were standard (wings and spring rolls), so nothing to really note there, other than again, the serving sizes were plenty big enough for two. Service was great. The bar area probably had 7 or 8 other tables to wait on, but we had no issues. They were attentive, the food came out quickly, and they checked in often. Even mama-chef came to see if we liked everything when they dropped off our to go left overs. All in all, a great experience.
google avatar

Chelsea J.

Yelp
They have a great happy hour with both cocktail specials, beer specials, and small plates and appetizers. Their house drinks are good and they use decent liquor in them. I enjoyed my house margarita. The crab rangoon, fresh rolls, potstickers are all delicious. Their small plates like green beans and pad Thai and pad see ew are all good. The portions are pretty generous, like lunch size portions. The restaurant is very trendy and is gorgeous. The house music is a little much but I suppose it matches the atmosphere. Great drinks, good food, friendly people.

Yelp
We got to the restaurant at 11:45am and was told we could grab a seat at the bar. We thought.. great! Bar = faster service (we were here for lunch and work nearby). My co worker and I ordered fresh rolls and a large tom yum soup with shrimp. The food was good/fresh but our total came to $26, which is kinda expensive for lunch considering we were just ordering apps. They didn't have a GREAT lunch selection (more expensive compared to the previous ownership).. but if you're feeling like splurging every now and then go treat yoself! What we did not like was that it took forever to flag down a server, get our check.. and then once we were presented with the bill we were idle for another 5 minutes waiting for the server to come by and pick up our payments. I eventually got tired of waiting and went straight to the bar.

Yelp
My colleague in Seattle picks restaurants almost entirely on the hotness of waitresses, and although he was not wrong in his assessment, the food was pretty good too. Went in with a toothache and still finished my entire plate of flat noodles. Not sure if the taste can be described as authentic, but I've warmed up up to Americanized Thai over the past few years. Basil, eggs, and sweet chili sauce always go well together. Rice porridge doesn't sound like much of an appetizer, but I loved it, by the way. Venue is clean and has a comfortable, open layout. Had to park off site, but it's worth the walk.

Yelp
I like their pad Thai and they have a great pick up and delivery process. Very quick and reliable

Yelp
May 2019 update : I had to deduct one star because I recently went back and ordered the two items I've had multiple times - drunken noodles and shrimp fresh rolls. It was so disappointing. They must have had a new chef. The rolls are not good in terms of the balance of he ingredients, not to mention with little to nothing shrimp, the noddles are completely plain ( might have forgotten to salt). I used to like this place now it's just unacceptable. Original: I live around the corner so probably have ordered from here 5 times. This place never seems full at dinner time so I was a bit skeptical but after dining in once I completed changed my mind - it's actually quite good. If you dine in, you could sit at the bar and watch TV or sit down at an actual table. They give minced chicken congee on the house to everyone as an appetizer. They call it a soup, but seriously it's a congee lol I'm Chinese so congee is more like a main dish instead of an appetizer. I found it a bit amusing when they serve it as a soup appetizer. It could be a Thai thing so I don't know. But hey, it's tasty and free, I'm happy! I have tried maybe 2 rice dishes and 2 noodle dishes from the menu so far and I highly recommend the pad sew eew and drunken noodles, but not the rest. Sometimes they could come as a bit salty to my taste, so i always tell them less salt. Service is very good for diner in. They also have an app that you can order pick up. $15% off on your first order. I found it so convenient. I usually order when I'm waiting for the bus to come back home, and it's ready for pick up just around the time i hop off th

Yelp
Delicious beef pad see eew, larb ga, green curry chicken. Absolutely loved all dishes for takeout and will become our Thai go-to! Everything tasted fresh, was well-made, flavorful without being overly sauced or salty. The larb ga was refreshing, served with crisp lettuce wedges, lightly dressed and not drowning in fish sauce. The pad see eew noodles tasted super fresh and wasn't oily. The green curry stole the show though - excellent curry, full of tender chicken, juicy bamboo, eggplant and zucchini - just the right amount of heat and spice.
google avatar

Opal D.

Yelp
New location is clean with updated decor. Standard Thai food, hard to mess up, but nothing mind blowing. Casual and quick - a great spot for a lunch break. They don't deliver - which can be a problem as parking around there can sometimes be difficult at lunch time. Verdict: Good standby for Thai on Eastlake... helps that there isn't any competition.

Tessa B.

Yelp
It's ok. I'm pretty neutral about this place. Atmosphere is fine, it's a good value. I find the vegetable selections watery and the pineapple chicken is my go to mostly because of that. Rice is always perfect. Service nice. Meh food. Good for business lunches.
