Tried this Thai restaurant for the first time and was seriously impressed! I ordered the raw oysters and pad Thai — both were absolutely delicious. The oysters were fresh and clean, and the pad Thai had that perfect balance of sweet, savory, spicy and tangy with just the right amount of kick. Great flavors, generous portions, and everything tasted super fresh. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This place is dope! As soon as u walk up u just feel the urge to snap a picture! Honestly the whole restaurant is Beautiful! The food was great from beginning to end. We each ordered an appetizer that was absolutely delicious. I ordered the duck dish and it was my first time having duck. Amazingly cooked and I am now a lover of duck and cannot wait to try it some more! This place is wonderful for date night or friends but whatever u do make your way there for the food! Drinks not so much being that they use a certain wine for the liquor it ended up tasting like juice although it was delicious as well!

Love the food, in a hidden oasis. Generous portion and quality food. Very authentic Thai style food. Love its unique blend of Thai jasmine rice beer, excellent complement to the seafood dishes. Be warned, there are about 10-20 staircases you need to climb back after eating, not thrilled about that.

Went here with a couple friends and had a fantastic time. Seating was quick and servers were very attentive—coming around to refill our glasses often and asking if our experience was satisfactory. We got a lot of things, but the most notable one were the Pad See Ew and the Pad Kra Pow. The noodles in the Pad See Ew were nice and bouncy, and the chinese broccoli added a much needed crunch. The Pad Kra Pow was topped with crispy basil that perfumed the entire dish, making it super aromatic and delicious. We got Thai iced tea and coconut ice cream to end off our meal, and it was the perfect final note to our amazing experience.

Came here for dinner on a weekday and loved the decor. The atmosphere feels laid-back and welcoming. We started with the market oysters and papaya salad, which were both super fresh and flavorful. We also had the beef pad kee mao and duck red curry, and everything we ordered was seriously delicious. The duck curry was the star for me, I haven’t stopped thinking about it and already want to come back! Portions were generous, and I’m hoping to return with more friends so we can try even more of the menu.

Me and my friend had a great experience at Siam Thai in Flushing! The food was flavorful and well-prepared. The Siam Platter was a bit on the heavier side, and it’s shareable, but overall, everything was delicious. It took some time for them to bring in the dessert at the end. Great cocktail menu but no hard liquor. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality Thai food!

Google
I always come back here- I wish I had food pictures but we devoured it the moment it hit the table. Interior is so nice and comfortable. Beef boat noodle soup has always been such a hit and we love the morning glory. 100% recommend this spot

Google
I cannot stop thinking about their mango sticky rice!! Popped in with a friend a couple nights ago and have thought about going back every hour for it. The portion sizes are huge definitely shareable. Enjoyed the duck curry and spicy noodle dish. Happy hour deals were a generous size, my favorites were the papaya salad and oysters! The mango stick rice though omg. 10/10. Service was slow seemed like they were short staffed so have to be patient. Would come back to try the other dishes.

Yelp
I've been putting off this place for awhile because usually when I try a new place near me I get their lunch for a taste of what they can do. However Siam thai's lunch special price point was always just a few dollars too much. Finally bit the bullet and came here on a whim for dinner and happy to report that Siam thai did not disappoint! Everything was simply fantastic! Basement decor gave off moody jungle vibes applicable to thai cuisine. Service was great as wait staff were attentive and kind. Food was fresh and delicious, a symphony of flavors bursting on the palate. We ordered a bunch of things to share including their manila clams, morning glory, fish in the garden, chicken pineapple fried rice, steak dinner and siam dessert set. Everything was tasty and nothing worth taking stars off! Worth the hype and I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Taken there by the Mrs. since she was so impressed by her previous experience with her work buddies. Somewhat hidden in a basement on 157 st, sits this establishment that gives an air of uniqueness with, maybe, a hint of exotic. I must confess I am not used to entering places like these. You walk down a flight of stairs and you are greeted by an ambiance of what I would call "modern antique". The way the place is decorated reminded me (after a bit of trying to put my finger on it) bars you see in movies that are portraying the 70's. While I am NO fan of Thai cuisine, I must say that everything ordered tastes great. My favorite for the evening was the seafood tum yum soup... seconded by their Thai iced tea flavored ice cream. Every dish was very distinct (as opposed to how in some places all their curry dishes taste the same but have a different color). The staff was very friendly and attentive. If you are seated in one of their booths, the place could absolutely be very intimate. A bit dim. IMO, better suited for a casual drink and conversation. I feel their prices are a bit on the steep side for queens, yet, their food and the way it is all presented to you could be worth the while.

Yelp
Service: 4.1/5 Food: 3.6/5 Cute jungle theme- the easter egged monkeys on vines were fun finds. Young staff, probably college or high schoolers. Still very helpful and nice. Good for groups large + small, especially since they have a whole page of the menu dedicated to shareable dishes. Would come back to try their mocktails + other dishes- moneybag dumplings look so cute! What I Ordered: - Khao Soi: good curry, tender chicken, main noodles were good, crispy noodles were a little stale then got soggy. Side note: the ladle seemed a bit extra - Khao Man Gai- cripsy: simple yet flavorful. cripsy, juicy, tender chicken with complimentary sweet + spicy sauces. rice was on the drier side according to my partner's preference - Chive Cakes: did not try, very fragrant smell - Tomahawk: I did not try, but everyone else at my table said it was worth the hype. Meat seemed very tender

Yelp
Amazing spot!! 10/10 decor and ambiance, 10/10 customer service from staff, and 10/10 food!! Everything here is so beautifully well-thought out - from the details in the interior design to the plating of the food. Every dish was simply perfect - nothing was too greasy or salty or sweet or spicy. I am already planning my next visit to try other stuff! Also, they do offer the ability to host an event and have curated menus with set prices per person :)

Yelp
The food was alright, not great. It was a bit bland and not as flavorful as it appears to be. We ordered the Siam platter which consisted of different things to try, and I liked the variety but the chicken kebab was very dry and not that flavorful. We also got the short rib massaman curry, and they did provide a huge portion of food. It was sweet, but that was the maximum of its flavor profile. This place is very aesthetic for social media, but the taste was not my favorite.

Yelp
This place has been on my bookmarked list for awhile and I finally got to try it out with my family last night! The only downside is that when you walk into the restaurant, there's a certain smell , but it could just be because it is located in the basement but other than that, the restaurant was very pretty and very nicely lit! The staff was very friendly and very accommodating as they even brought out a dessert with a candle for my husband's birthday! The dungeness crab was my favorite! The flavors were very good, especially with some sticky rice! Their seafood tom yum soup was also very delicious - I highly recommend! Their desserts were okay - my favorite was the thai tea cheese cake! It was very creamy and yummy, however it didn't taste much like thai tea, more like regular cheesecake which isn't bad but just not what i expected. I would recommend this to a friend!!

Yelp
Siam Thai is doing a 29$ special this month, which includes an app, main, and dessert. The value is definitely there; portions were generous, and the quality is definitely above those of other Thai places in Queens. The meat in both mains (pad thai, pineappled fried rice) were chunks, they weren't the usual thin, dry slices you get at all other places. Flavor is also more complex here, there is a bit of a smoky taste in the dishes. We ended up boxing almost 60% of the meal because we just couldn't finish it. We had the very berry mojito, which I personally wasn't a fan of; tasted very much like some berry medicine. That all said, I am not sure if I'd choose to go to Siam Thai over other Thai places in the city, with without the promotion. There is just too much strong competition, esp in Queens that is better priced. It's hard justify paying almost double the normal amount for pad thai that tastes just a bit better than the rest. This is probably why the restaurant is generally pretty empty (nice interior decor tho!). Service was very friendly, only thing was my cup had dust inside (either it wasn't cleaned well, or the water served was a little dirty). Overall a good experience.

Yelp
Great tasting Thai food in a restaurant with a unique jungle theme! We came here with a large group and got several appetizers and large shareable entrees to eat family-style. It was great to be able to experience a bit of each of the dishes. My favorite appetizer was the chicken satay. The chive pancakes are also classic. My favorite entree was the Short Rib in Massaman Curry. The meat was so tender and just falling off the bone, and drenched in tasty curry. But overall you can't go wrong with any of their entrees. I really enjoyed the ambience. The service was also great! The only downside is that the food is a bit pricey. Street parking is also a bit tight in this area on weekends.

Yelp
Great vibe and decor. Happy hour specials were delicious and the food was tasty. Staff was friendly. Highly recommend going for their happy hour and even though the steamed fish is on the pricier side, it was cooked perfectly.

Yelp
Atmosphere: Beautiful ambiance, beautifully decorated. Service: Excellent and attentive service. Food: Oysters: Delicious! Love the fish sauce it comes with Crab curry appetizer: can eat it as an entree due to its large portion. Very creamy and yummy Shrimp pineapple fried rice: sweet and delicious Lobster pad Thai: I noticed they no longer have this on the menu but they were able to make it on my request. It was perfect! Mango stick rice: the best dessert

Yelp
It is official ! This is my FAVORITE spot for Thai. From service to food to this semi hidden gem! With Google and Siri my maps confuse the heck out of me! We had to walk around the block. Not sure if it was bad reception or someones pinning them wrong! We soon realized it was on the side of the block! FYI for the ones who did get lost! We guided ourselves downstairs which was a surprise. The esthetics of the place was all in awe moments. I can see influencers and social media peeps going wild here photo bombing every angle of this place. We ordered the Khao Soi, Tomahawk Steak with Massam Curry, Money bags, the Soft shell crap papaya salad, the pad see ew, and the fresh oysters. Let me tell you. Everything was on point! I mean EVERYTHING. It's very rare for me to point out that how perfect the meats came out. Piping hot, juicy, steaming, etc. The salads were perfectly chilled while the soft shell crab was still warm and crispy! The chicken in the Khao Soi was cooked perfectly. The Tomahawk Steak was fall off your bone drenched in that curry sauce. EVEN THE MONEY BAGS! Which I had like 0 interest had this punch of bouncy mix meatball substance that literally explodes in your mouth. Was the food as good as sex? YES, OMG YES! Finished twice and still wants more. Hats off to the chefs, cooks, and servers. They definitely know how to do things right!

Yelp
There were four of us having dinner at Siam Thai on a Friday evening. They had a $29 restaurant week special. It was an appetizer, an entrée, and a dessert for $29 which was a great deal. For appetizers we got 2 Moneybag Dumplings, 1 Papaya Salad, and 1 Thai summer rolls. For entrees we got 1 Pad Kra Pao, 1 Pad Thai, 1 Pad See Ew, and 1 Pineapple Fried Rice. For dessert we got 2 Mango Sticky Rice and 2 Warm Coconut Pudding. I really enjoyed the Papaya Salad. It had a lot of black pepper in it and a good amount of acid. Everything else was fine to good. My Pad See Ew was tasty and had a lot of tofu in it. The place is decorated nicely. The service was friendly and speedy.

Yelp
I'm actually a little surprised that we had not been here sooner, as we are huge fans of Thai food and this menu is quite enticing. In the end, would probably come again but am definitely not rushing back. Came on a Friday night and it was shockingly empty-unclear why. Started with the Siam platter. We debated this for a while because of the price and I still haven't decided whether it's worth such a price. I'm a sucker for chive pancakes and moneybag dumplings. These ultimately were good! The dipping suaces-fine. Satay-fine. Price point-difficult. We opted for two mains. Went with Pad kee mao with tofu which was exactly what we expected, well executed but really just fine. The true star of the show was the reason this place is featured on social media: the tomahawk short rib massaman curry. It really was excellent. Easy to scrape off the bone and so so tender. However, it is advertised to serve 3-4 people, which is certainly not true, and doesn't come with rice, which it certainly needs. Recommend opting for a side order of rice on top of the fairly hefty price for this dish, which made it a bit less appetizing. If you leave a google review, they grab you a free Thai tea ice cream for dessert.

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere. Prices are a little higher than Thai food normally is, but worth it given the ambiance and how unique the food is. Everything is delicious. The prawns weren't really my thing though. Def get the moneybag appetizer, lychee soju was delicious- just the right amount of flavor and sweetness. We also ordered a duck curry- yummy!

Yelp
What a beautiful restaurant! After descending one flight down you will see the stylish dining areas throughout starting with the host station and bar. There's mood lighting for that ambiance. Great vibes for any occasion. The Thai Island vibe is what I noticed first with the trees and greenery throughout. The straw like lanterns create that story further and look ahead, you'll see the cutest little monkey on the tiled back wall. My first comment is about my server, Michelle. She was so sweet throughout my dinner service. Quick to respond to questions about the menu and always genuine with a smile on approach. Appreciate her friendliness. She checked on us as needed and provided chopsticks upon request. It would seem fork and spoon is the main table setting here. I enjoyed sifting every page of the menu as it was my first visit. I wanted to try everything! Eyes bigger than my stomach (not by much)! My favorite appetizer was the scallop crudo (minus that jalapeno, whoa it had a kick). The soft shell crab curry was a little on the salty side but with a bowl of rice, that would've solved it. The chicken rice we ordered on the side to cut the saltiness of the crab fried rice helped a lot. So two things that were consistent, they were a little heavy handed on the salt. The other, when it says Chiles or has the red pepper symbol - the spice is on! Not adjustable like other places. Even our steamed fish was a little too spicy for me towards the end. The roti - not on the menu as it's normally accompanied by the curry dish, is available, just ask. It's a few bucks but worth it. I liked the mixed drinks they had to offer but I didn't partake this visit except for the Lychee Thai Tea because I was ordering all over the place. Wanted to enjoy the goodies and that I did. Too full for dessert but maybe next time. Note: It's entrance is just off the corner of Northern Blvd. on the side street of 157th. It is on the lower level so call ahead to ask if it is wheelchair accessible. I did not see an elevator.

Yelp
We came for happy hours. Very impressed about food and drink, especially the price. All small bites are $8, including half a dozen of oysters although we did not order. We were satisfied at all other dishes we ordered- moneybag dumplings, chives cakes (happy hours menu) and short rib, tofu paw see ew from regular menu. Be mindful that the taste is a bit on sweet side in general compared to authentic Thai cuisine.
google avatar

Cindy J.

Yelp
The ambiance is pretty. I would go here on a date or a group of friends. Photos would come out well. Service was okay. My pad Thai needed more of the lemongrass taste. It was missing the tanginess. I asked for more lemon but the lemons didn't help with the taste. The chive cakes were good. Needs a little bit more flavor. The drinks were tasty. I got the night in Bangkok drink. It was good. My friend got the Tropical Soul, she didn't fancy it so much. It is pricier because of the ambiance. You are paying more floor the ambiance. I will say that the portion size was a good amount. Enough you can take home a portion. Street parking.

Yelp
5 stars for a superb lunch spot in Queens! We had the appetizer platter to get a small taste of some of their popular app items. Money bags (crunchy wrapper, flavorful moist meatball inside), puff pastry (light fluffy, empty- not sure if this was a mistake LOL) satay skewers (flavorful ), and a mochi-like savory cake with chives and other herbs. And with dipping sauces and presented beautifully. Mains Beef Pad See Ew: great umami and smoky taste, and I was glad they did not stray from the classic simple dish. Noodles were tender and al dente. Tomahawk beef short rib curry, side of roti: what a great creamy perfectly seasoned sauce and the short rib was very tender! We ordered a side of rice for the sauce. A bit on the sweeter side but still so good. Crispy pork belly with basil and veggies- I forgot what the name of this dish is but the sauce is sooo savory and rich this is a must do for this place! Similar to pad see ew sauce but richer. Drinks: Phaya shots: comes in 6, tart and sweet at the same time., topped with a blueberry and served on a beautiful iced bronzed dish. Ambience is casual and dressy, friendly and lively. Service was efficient and our server timed our dishes well. The interior is very pretty reminiscent of a tropical jungle. Restrooms are clean and pretty as well if that matters to you ( it matters to me :) ) Street parking. Will come back!

Yelp
Always a good time, service and food when I eat at this establishment. The place is always clean and well maintained.

Yelp
Siam is a cute underground Thai restaurant located by Murray Hill. We stopped by around 8pm on a Friday without a reservation and was seated promptly. The menu had a lot of interesting options, especially the Tomahawk Short Rib Curry but we had to pass on it since it fed 3-4 people. We opted for their Filet Mignon Basil, Duck Red Curry, and Manila Clams. The Manila clams were a starter dish and came out first. It wasn't what we expected to be a starter dish due to the heavy sauce it was stir fried with, making it quite salty. Overall the taste was good and reminded me of the Chinese style black bean clams, but with a Thai twist. The duck curry came next and the duck was much smaller than we expected. Fortunately the duck was still quite crispy and the taste of the curry was delicious. I loved the lychee and pineapples in the curry. Lastly the Filet Mignon Basil tasted pretty standard for a Thai dish stir fried with basil and spices. It was tasty but overall I wasn't too impressed. I think Siam Thai is definitely a cute place for a date or a nice night out with friends. Their decor is very vibrant and welcoming. I would like to come back to try the Tomahawk Short Rib Curry with a couple more friends. One minor complaint is that the menu pricing could be revisited. It was interesting that a noodle dish cost almost $25, which is similar to the cost of a specialty entree.

Amber M.

Yelp
The lasagna was fine--I think. I barely tasted it. The lighting here is just dim enough that if you start crying, no one really notices. My water glass kept getting refilled, not that I asked, just that someone must have seen the way I was staring at my plate, not eating, barely speaking. Across from me, the person I thought I would spend my life with explained, gently, how we had "grown apart." Four stars because no one rushed me, and the music was just loud enough to blur the edges of the words I wasn't ready to hear. Would I come back? Probably not. But if you ever need a place to sit in silence and let your heart break, this one does the job.

Yelp
Came here for dinner several times Pros: - The money bag dumplings are delicious - come back for this item every time - Really nice atmosphere and setup of space - Great service - Beef Pad Kee Mao is extremely flavorful and delicious (really spicy but worth it!) Cons: - Massaman curry was a bit too sweet - Beef boat noodle soup was a bit too sweet - Rice in pineapple fried rice was lacking flavor
google avatar

Yelp
This hidden gem is tucked away off Northern Blvd one storefront in, you can easily walk by it and miss it. Upon entering you descend down a flight of stairs to the restaurant itself. The decor is trendy with a cozy atmosphere. The wait staff was amazing, attentive and friendly. Overall a very pleasant experience. The menu offers a good variety of delicious selections to satisfy your culinary taste. What we ordered; Drinks: - White Peach Sangria - Lonely Planet - Night in Bangkok - Tropical Soul Food: - Market Oysters - Fish in the Garden - Crab Fried Rice - Spicy Filet Mignon Basil - Khao Soi Definitely will be making a return trip to this spot in the future. Highly recommend this restaurant for good, legit Thai food/innovative new age culinary delights.

Yelp
Came here for my birthday dinner. My husband and I really enjoyed Siam. On a freezing January evening, the ambiance was warm and still a well filled restaurant with guests. Rattan displays of decor and furniture make the space have a nature feel to it. When we sat, the staff were attentive and quick with service. Food came out immediately upon ordering. We loved the tomahawk massaman entree, which was shareable for 2 (menu says it's for 4 guests - it definitely isn't unless you barely eat). Paired well with the chicken fried rice. The softshell crab curry appetizer was delicious too, albeit on the skimpier side of softshell orders I've placed. The pricing to quantity ratio was off. Perhaps because it's winter, so it's off season for softshell. Market oysters were unique and yummy as well. Drinks and dessert were both delicious. The only negative aspect was that we were sat directly next to the bathroom and it smelled like wet socks/dirty bathroom the entire time. We bought it to the attention of the waitress and she lit a candle. It made no difference. So, dinner was unpleasantly smelly. Overall, I look forward to going back here! 9/10 experience.

Yelp
TOMAHAWK Short Rib Massaman Curry 48 Very large portion. Ribs is very tender and soft, but the potatoes is bland. Pineapple fry rice $25 I don't know why they put small tomatoes inside the fry rice. The taste is okay, but pretty bland too. Not really recommend this dish. 炒饭里面有虾仁,腰果,圣女果,菠萝肉,洋葱 感觉有点奇怪,放腰果就算了,没想到还下了圣女果 虾仁不入味。除了长得好看,用来拍照打卡,不推荐点 . Siam Platter The satay chicken is super dry! The rest dumplings are all taste good. The vibes is pretty good. And I had a good service too.

Yelp
10/10 all around! Food is delicious, service is great. Ambiance is SUPER cute for a date night, girls night out or even a quick lunch. The music in there is also great, very modern and up-to-date. I definitely highly recommend this place to everyone, authentic fresh Thai food is hard to find but this place checks off all of the boxes in my book! I highly recommend going during their happy hour also. Great options on the menu and you get a good bargain for a great price. I got their spicy fillet mignon with basil and chicken fried rice. The food is delicious delicious and delightful, definitely check them out! You won't be disappointed!!

Yelp
My friends and I ate Tomahawk Short Rib Massaman Curry and Pad See Ew. The short rib curry comes with roti bread. We decided it's not enough bread so we ordered rice too. Overall the dishes were good but salty. The food arrived faster than the drinks. Other than that this is a cute spot to eat thai food if you're in the area.
google avatar

Sharis C.

Yelp
Loved the interior and ambiance here! They have a lot of drink choices and the food is very flavorful. Pad kee Mao was good and quite spicy. The roasted chicken was dry but it has so much potential! It came with sticky rice but it was extremely hard to chew even when it was still hot. My favorite was the papaya salad. Would come again to try their happy hour food since the regular dishes are pricey.
google avatar

Yelp
Love the decor and ambiance of this restaurant. It's has a very nice vibe. We got the tomahawk rib massaman curry which is very for pics but I felt it lacked a little flavor. The fried fish with mango salad was very good as well as the papaya salad. The prices are slightly more than your average that but service and vibes are what you're paying for.

Eve K.

Yelp
Came here for lunch. Decor was cute, spacious, floor is little sticky. Street parking only. We had chicken pad thai, beef noodle soup, curry ribeye, shrimp pad see wee, siam sample and fried calamari. Food is delicious, although on the pricey side but decent portion. We will still come back next time when we are in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Was looking to try some place new for Thai and was drawn in from the amazing photos and rave review. It's safe to say, fellow Yelpers steered me in the exact right direction, yet again! Everything was on point, from the exquisite and welcoming ambiance to the 5-star food and service. I ordered the lunch special, which comes with soup, appetizer and entree. I chose the fried tofu and the tofu seaweed soup. Both were top notch! For my entree, I went with the garlic chicken over rice. It tasted super fresh, came with a good amount of veggies and a giant heap of rice. I was one happy camper through and through! Can't wait to return and explore the menu!

Yelp
My daughter's go-to for Thai food. They have this lunch promo from noon until 3 PM which makes the visit more worth it.

Yelp
New Thai places are popping up all over eastern Queens and this place happens to be one of them. It's definitely a bit off the beaten path and a bit inconspicuous. Located in the downstairs off a side street, this place would be easy to miss. Getting here without a car isn't easy and parking is tough. Public transit is a bus from the train so I figure a lot of their patrons are local and walk. The decor here is beautiful and the owners spared no expense. It certainly does not feel like you're eating in a basement. How about the food? Happy to report that it's pretty good although the menu offerings are about the same as other similar establishments. The pork jowl appetizer was great - perfect dipping sauce and sliced just at the right thickness to give it the right texture. Sampler was hot and fresh - satay was good as was the money bag dumping. Mains were also pretty good. Crab fried rice was good and had a generous serving of lump crab in the dish. Pad thai was good although it was a tad sweet for my liking. Cooked well though. Pad see eew was also pretty good but again a bit sweet. Also the noodles didn't have the wok hei that some other places have. Still, the food overall here was good. Service here was fast and friendly. Portion sizes are fairly large and easily shareable which is good since prices here are a tad high - our mains ranged from $18-$28. Appetizers were also a tad pricey but worth it in terms of quality. Good restaurant, bad location.

Yelp
The best Thai food I've ever had! If I'm being honest Thai food is not my favorite when it comes to Asian cuisine, but this genuinely has changed my mind and has made me more open to trying more. I honestly was skeptical when I saw photos because it looks like one of those aesthetically pleasing places where the food is mid and when we came around 1pm Sunday there was only one other party. They do have an offer where if you leave a Google review you can get a free item (coconut water, ice cream, Thai tea, moneybag) which many of us did take part of so I'm not sure how honest the reviews on Google are but the food speaks for itself. We started off with oysters, these were fresh with fried onion and paired with spicy fish sauce. Then we had the Siam platter, which included four different appetizers with an array of sauces everything was soooo good omg I'm going to be thinking about that for a long time. I got the khao soi with chicken, it was my first time trying it so I'm not sure how it compares to others but there was a whole chicken in the curry broth, super tender and juicy. I loved the crispy noodles and how the noodles get soft if you leave it in the broth. The prices were pretty reasonable which is saying a lot for NY. Service was great as well; they were really attentive to our party of 12. I would definitely return one of the best restaurants in NY for sure!

Yelp
The food is very good and it has a very natural flavor and presentation. I had the khao soi which is very nice for people who like curry flavor. The staff is very friendly and explains the menu very well. They provide good service and they're quite attentive. The indoor scenery is imo one of the best parts of the restaurant giving an outdoor feel to an indoor restaurant.

Yelp
I would have given this place a 2-star rating if it weren't for the service and the ambiance. Welcoming and attentive staff. Nicely decorated. However, the food was not good. Probably the worst green Thai curry I have ever had. Drunken noodle was just okay. Wings were dry and lacked flavor inside. Oysters were good but not as fresh. It was a disappointing experience.

Yelp
The food here was definitively tasty. I had the chicken satay to start which was delicious and the Pad Kee Mao with chicken. The pad kee mao has a nice little kick to it if you like spicy. For drinks, I tried the tropical soul, which was okay. The service was fine, no complaints. Overall, the aesthetic of the restaurant was nice and low key. It's not a big restaurant and gives the intimate feel. The one thing I will say is this area in general has No parking so Uber if you want or just give yourself some time to find parking before your reservation time bc you might spin the block for a bit.

Yelp
My favorite Thai place in queens! Beautifully crafted dishes with intense flavors. Every dish that came out was my new favorite. We tried some of the specials which included the Tomahawk Short Rib Massaman Curry which was on the sweeter side but still pleasant and comforting -- they give you a side of roti! The short rib is SUPER tender it literally fell off the bone!! Other notable mentions are the Manila clams, Garlic Shrimp, and the Tiger Steak. The clam sauce was addicting, def serve it over rice. Garlic shrimp had that perfect salt and pepper batter crust and the tiger steak was tender and juicy.

Yelp
I tried this place on a rainy day ordered takeout. The pad Thai hit the spot. A little pricey but I think it was well worth it. I definitely will be back

Yelp
Really good Thai spot if you're willing to spend more on the ambiance/more gourmet items. I think the menu is pretty pricey, but I think they try to make up for it in serving size and quality of food. Parking is relatively easy if you come at night. Restaurant is big, so sometimes it can be hard to get your servers attention without getting up to go to their bar area. -scallop crudo (7/10); really fresh and sweet scallop, liked the sauce they used but this dish is SERIOUSLY spicy. Proceed w caution. -Manila clams (8/10); these clams were huge! Very tasty sauté -short rib curry (7/10); this was so tender and fell off the bone. pair with their Thai chicken rice and the complimentary Thai roti -pad kee mao (7/10); standard noodles. tasted good but nothing to rave about -dessert sampler (7/10); came with Thai iced tea ice cream, mango sticky rice, and coconut pudding. liked the variety but for $28 I think it's a little expensive for what it is

Yelp
I found this place when I was planning my baby shower back in December. This place had hit the spot for everything I wanted.. Thai food, fits all of my guests, and the best part for me was that it had a jungle themed decor which worked well with my shower which meant I didn't need to add much. I think I got lucky because they were a new restaurant and were only open late afternoon to evening so 12-3pm was still open for private events, not sure if they still do that. One of the things I like about the food is that it's actually spicy. The papaya salad we ordered was regular spice level and still had a good kick to it. We've had probably about a third of the menu (they've since added more) and most of the dishes are ok. We liked the money bag dumplings and beef pad kee mao. The duck red curry was one of their popular dishes and we weren't too sure what to think of it. It has the typical curry flavors but slightly sweeter and there are noticeable hints of lychee in it. My husband didn't like it but I thought it was interesting so we ended up adding this to our shower menu. Although the food for me is 3-3.5 stars, my communication with Wen (my point of contact for the shower) and the service was the reason I bumped it up to 4. He was very prompt with answering all of my questions, he let me scope out the space a few times so I can plan the layout, he gave me suggestions on the menu and seating, and just overall made the planning so much easier.

Yelp
I would give this place a 3.5 out of five. I came here with my family for dinner and it was during a weekday so we got seated pretty quickly. I do love the decor of the restaurant it's very different and seems very upscale. Despite it being underground, they went all out with the decor. We got some iced teas which were good, but there was too much ice in them so I felt like there was barely any of the actual drink in the cup. We got a bunch of food to share for the table, including the pad see ew, crab fried rice, the tiger prawns, Thai red curry, and the fish in the garden. The pad see ew was my favorite and had a lot of flavor, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. as for the tiger prawns although it was big, it only had two pieces and since it was grilled, a lot of the meat was stuck on the shelves themselves, so it was very difficult to eat. The crap fried rice was decent. I did wish there was a bit more flavor to it. The Thai red curry was very rich. I love that it was super flavorful, and it worked well with duck meat as the fish in the garden, this was a decent dish as well, but again, not the easiest to eat.

Yelp
This is the spot if you need a date night Thai spot located in the heart of Flushing. I love their jungle themed decor which is pretty cute and romantic in my opinion. Service is good and the food was good as well. Prices are fair for the quantity + quality. Came here for a friend's birthday dinner it was fun get together and appreciate the host bringing the dessert to wish my friend. We all ordered different variations of drunken noodles and pad thai. One was veggie, the other 3 had seafood and chicken. Let's see I don't even quite remember the drinks but one of them was a coconut drink, Thai tea and not sure what the other one was but all the drinks tasted good. This area in my opinion parking is a bit of a hassle and it's street parking only.

Yelp
Everything from food, services and ambiance was on point. It's a little pricey but great spot for date night or just a nice meal with friends. We order the very berry mojito and non alcoholic cocktail. Thai Scallops crudo was light and sweet. Siam platter for appetizer was perfect for 4 people. Papaya salad was nice and fresh with a slow heat. Tomahawk curry was perfect for 3-4 people. and don't miss the crab fried rice! For dessert the home made coconut ice cream was the winner.

Yelp
The food here is really good, portions are decent but could be better for the price. I would have given it 5 stars but there were a few things that knocked it down to 4 stars. Firstly, the entrance isn't on northern blvd, it's actually on 157th st so me and my friends had some trouble finding the place and it was also at night so we couldn't see well either. Secondly, we ordered drinks first and there was a mix up with the drinks. We still don't know exactly what happened but it was either the waiter heard the order wrong or the order was put in wrong. They were nice about it so it was fine in the end. But this was what really knocked it down to 4 stars, after we got our drinks, it took a long time for them to come back to our table so we would order our food. When we finally ordered our food, it took almost an hour for our food to come out! The waiter did come to us later and said it was because a table near us all ordered pineapple fried rice (they were also a large party) but almost an hour though??? When the food did come, it was very very good. The place was also not too loud so I could actually hear my friends when we're talking. I would definitely come back next time.

Yelp
We came here for date night and the ambiance inside the restaurant was really cute. We were immediately seated in one of the booths and caught the last bit of happy hour so we ordered the money bag dumplings and a beer off the HH menu. The apps were a hit, highly recommend the money bag dumplings! For our mains, we ordered a beef pad kee mao and duck breast red curry. The pad kee mao was delicious but the curry came out lukewarm, it probably had to do with the fact that it was sitting around for a bit as our food took awhile to come out. For drinks, we ordered the lychee Thai iced tea and midnight blue cocktail, the iced tea was a little too sweet for my liking and both me and my boyfriend weren't a fan of the cocktail... it had a weird after taste and was very plummy. For dessert, we ordered Thai tea cheesecake and that was also solid. I think the service was a little slow as our empty water glasses didn't get filled for awhile during our meal. There were definitely some hits and misses throughout the meal but overall, would come back and try some of their other signature dishes next time we are craving Thai food.

Yelp
First time at Siam and the service by Michelle was very nice. The food was not too bad but they didn't have a lot of other authentic Thai dishes. We ordered the chicken wings, ground pork, chicken satay, papaya salad, naa ra and white sangria. Overall, the food was not too bad but the chicken satay could've been better. It was a bit on the dry side. Yes, we ordered a lot for two people so by the time we were done, paid for the bill, gave them 25% tip, then a little while later, they said they needed our table. It wasn't even busy and we were planning to leave anyways but very surprised that they would ask us to leave especially when we gave them an extra tip for their amaizng service. Would we be back? Probably not.

Yelp
This is a really cool spot just off of Northern Blvd. You walk downstairs into a really retro cool tropical Asian vibe. Service was excellent and gracious. The basil ribeye was superb in flavor and tenderness. Very good pad Thai and shrimp fired rice. Excellent Thai iced tea.
