Sibarita Wine and Cheese Bar in Covent Garden Is Closed | Eater London

"The chef’s second restaurant on Maiden Lane in Covent Garden has been closed since November; although its website remained live the phone line stopped accepting calls, social media activity ended the previous summer, it was removed from OpenTable and is listed as permanently closed on Google. The site is set to be taken over by a new Spanish concept." - James Hansen

Rambla’s Victor Garvey Confirms Closure of His First Restaurant | Eater London

"A quickly launched sister restaurant that has outperformed expectations, its menu features several dishes that originally started at the chef's first site. It shares the group's common DNA — a mix of traditional and contemporary tapas, strong Spanish cheeses and charcuterie, well-made cocktails and good-value wines by the glass — and is a core focus for the owner as the group consolidates operations." - Adam Coghlan

It was our first time and we really enjoyed our date night. It was really busy but our food came out in a timely manner. The food was delicious. Truly wonderful.

Best Italian restaurant I’ve been to in many moons. Nice vibe in the room. Bartender and waitstaff are friendly and attentive. Good wine list, including an unusual white Malbec. Beef carpaccio starter is outstanding! For mains we had the mushroom and fennel sausage lasagne, and seared scallops with asparagus risotto— both were wonderful. Will be eager to return!

Just tried Sibaritas for the first time at the suggestion of our B&B host. Everything was fantastic: the meal, the service and the ambiance. My salmon dish with braised vegetables was flavorful and cooked to perfection. We were most impressed with the gluten-free options, which most of the menu is or can be made to be on request. I believe the homemade gf pasta is rice flour-based, and my husband's meal was excellent. They offer homemade gf focaccia as well, and it was delicious. Some dishes can also be made dairy-free. These used to be scarce luxuries or poorly executed at Italian restaurants. What a treat to find high-quality, tasty options. We also enjoyed our wines, and service was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Wishing this new Pittsfield gem much success!

My fiancée and I made reservations here for dinner. The food was delicious but only an hour into our meal and drinks, staff began pressuring us to leave. Upon ordering a second round of drinks and dessert, the staff seemed tiffed that we wanted to stick around... visibly staring and pointing at us. The dessert was practically thrown on our table. A few minutes later the manager approached our table and took the already delivered to-go boxes, placed them in a bag, and stood over us, smiling. In an attempt to be courteous, we offered to take our drinks and dessert to the bar or plentiful outdoor seating. The staff said "you can go to the bar but that's reserved in 10 mins". There was only a single seat, so this halfway solution seemed insulting. If you're looking for a relaxed, enjoyable meal, don't bother. They clearly overbook, even with reservations, and prioritize quantity over quality. For a near $200 meal, highly disappointed.

Food was very good, but very salty. We were a party of 6 and all agreed the salt could be dialed down quite a bit (we all ordered different items except two of us did get the chicken parm.) Atmosphere is good but loud, restaurant could use some sound proofing to absorb all the conversation happening. Service was good! Menu is on the pricer side for a Pittsfield restaurant .

Everything is great. Specials definitely worth to try, I came for lunch, so it’s a pity that the slow cook beef is not ready. Based on other dishes I ordered, I think beef should also be remarkable! The first plate of my fettuccine is a little bit over salty and I don’t like the smell of the cheese in it. It’s sweet that they change the recipe and recook it for me! The second plate is delicious! I think the calamari is the best I have ever tried!

My husband and I recently celebrated our 20th anniversary with dinner at Sibarita’s. Our server was friendly, helpful, and professional, and the food was exceptional. We ordered Sibarita’s salad, focaccia, osso bucco, and cacio e pepe—everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Plus, the restaurant was completely full on a Wednesday, which goes to show that when the food, service, and atmosphere are top notch, people show up!
