Me and my husband really love this restaurant. Especially love its oily and spicy noodles, it’s very authentic, you don’t find this type of wide noodles anywhere else. The service is good, sometimes it could be busy but you still get warm and thoughtful service. And their BBQ is nice too!

A Hidden Gem for Sichuan Lovers! Stepping into this Sichuan restaurant felt like being transported straight to the heart of Chengdu. The aroma of chili, garlic, and peppercorn greeted me like an old friend, promising a meal full of bold, authentic flavors—and it absolutely delivered. Every dish we ordered was a celebration of spice and balance. The service was equally warm and attentive. Our server was more than happy to guide us through the menu and adjust spice levels to our liking without compromising authenticity. Whether you’re a heat seeker or just curious about Sichuan cuisine, this spot is a must-visit. Just make sure to bring your appetite—and maybe a cold drink. This food doesn’t whisper, it sings.

Wonderful service and phenomenal food, would definitely recommend the hand pulled noodles absolutely deserving of these 5 stars. Our food came very quickly, as a group of 7 you’d expect the food to be delivered slower than usual, but this restaurant made quick work of all our separate orders. Also a very nice clean, peaceful environment. ☺️👍

Really enjoyed the spicy beef with tofu. The spice level was just right—not overly hot. The tofu was soft and flavorful, pairing nicely with the beef. Would order again.

Really good food overall and one of my go to places for delivery. The hand-pulled noodles are better eaten in than delivered but the flavour is great. Personal favourite is the mapo tofu. The hot and sour potatoes in vinegar could have had more flavour, they were very bland.

This restaurant used to have the most authentic sichuan food of Oxford - they've let themselves slip a bit recently. Although most classic dishes are still good - if you go with a Chinese. Service here is efficient but no smile/friendly chats. All workers here are like programmed machines. They do automatically add 12.5% service charge on the final bill but without stating them on each dish, so if you are hosting a party here and to split the bill, you have to take this into consideration. Must-order dish include: black fungus starter, fish soup with pickled vegetable, hotpot pork intestine. Give the dishes with weird-sounding names a try!

My friends visited this place again and the service is bad as usual. The cashier/boss is such a pain in the *** and the food is really bad. Go to Sojo coz their food is much better.

Doctoring the bill. The dinner bill added up to about 48 and the service lady sent me a bill of 55 at the bottom. When I asked how did that added up, she said there is a 10% service charge that had not been included. Then I asked for the correct billing, she stamped a 10% service charge chop and keep the 55. But the correct bill would added up to 53.34, when I asked why she wouldn't give me a correct bill. She refused to apologize and said that it's such a small additional amount that I don't need to pay if I don't agree. What the heck!! She made me sounded like a nitpicking customer while she doctored the bill.

The opening hours are wrong! And the waitress had a bad attitude. I asked for using the toilet and she said "No, you can't!" How suck was it！

The food is fine, but the restaurant boss/cashier have extremely bad service attitudes. Never come back again.

The most irritating meal I've had in half a month in Oxford! To tell you the truth, this restaurant tastes good, but the service attitude is surprisingly bad! The waiteress was so busy with the group meal that she ignored the requests of our regular customers. While we were eating, she dragged the chair away noisily without asking our opinion. I asked a young waitress for two glasses of water with a nice gentle attitude，but she ignored me for three times. I went to the front desk and asked for water. She pointed at me and said angrily, don't you see I'm busy? I have a lot to do. Never come again! Give the worst rating!

I give five star to this place. I don't understand why anyone would give anything below five star. I grow up in China and live in the US for many years. I can guarantee you this is the most authentic Chinese Sichuan food you can find anywhere.

Had a lunch with three ordered dishes. The food is so so, and the service is really bad. Will never go back again even its just cross from my college.

Incredible, authentic taste of Sichuan. Prepare for a scorcher if you like spice; the mild dishes are similarly delicious. The service is prompt and friendly. As someone whose favourite cuisine is Sichuanese, I cannot recommend this place more highly.
