If you love authentic Sichuan flavor — the real “mala” (numbing and spicy) — this is absolutely the place to go! Every dish bursts with deep, complex flavor, from the boiled fish in chili oil to the cold mung bean jelly and smoked pork ribs. The peppercorn aroma hits first, then that satisfying tingle follows — just like in Chengdu.
The atmosphere is bright, modern, and comfortable — perfect for both family dinners and gatherings with friends. The staff are friendly and efficient, and they’ll happily explain dishes or adjust spice levels if you ask.
Prices are very reasonable for the quality. You can tell the chefs take pride in authentic preparation — not just “Americanized” Chinese food, but real regional Sichuan cuisine.
If you enjoy bold, numbing, aromatic flavors and aren’t afraid of a little heat, you’ll fall in love with this restaurant. Easily one of the best Sichuan spots in Southern California!
