I was craving some authentic Chinese food so I looked up this place and decided to give it a try. The lady who helped me at the counter was very candid and helpful. I ordered my favorite dish Twice Cooked Pork. (I noticed the takeout receipt says Chinese style) The dish was authentic and generous in portions. I definitely would like to come back and try their beef noodle soups. One suggestion is the rice was not cooked thoroughly and can be made better to complete a wonderful dish.

Good authentic sichuan Chinese food. The dry hot pot was the star with lots of shrimp, hot pot meat, tripe, mushrooms and crunchy potatoes. Came with rice which went well with the twice cooked pork and sweet/sour pork ribs. The twice cooked pork was a little too salty for our liking though.

Staff attention to detail was superb. They were all so friendly and welcoming. The food was great, and the whole family had a great time dining here. They expanded their menu, which is wonderful for those who just want something much simpler than a hot pot meal. We had the hot pot and ordered extra stuff. Our whole entire family loves this place since it is a ayce hot pot joint. We were able to pick our own broths and have a good variety of selections for your protein, veggie, etc. choices to dip in the broth. Also, a day sauce bar.

Our overall experience was not one that we would recommend. They advertise a lunch special from 11 to 3, but it is not noted anywhere that it is not available on weekends. We stopped in exclusively for the smaller lunch portions, but decided to stay And give it a chance Because of an advertised scan and download app reward. It offered to “save eight dollars instantly” and earn every time you order, however it is not advertised that dine in is not allowed for the eight dollar offer or point reward. A simple, misunderstanding and lack of clear rules would not normally lead me to leave a review, However… My boyfriends sweet-and-sour chicken was primarily flavorless, breading and unseasoned, barely cooked green peppers, two pieces of pineapple and raw onion. It reminded us of McDonald’s McNuggets. My moo shu pork was barely warm and was quickly cold halfway through. After an upgrade price of $2.50 for only one cup of burnt tasting plain fried rice without veggies or egg, our total was over $45 after tip. Maybe the hotpot is better but the “&more” is not great. Hopefully today was a fluke but we won’t be anxious to try again soon when there are much better options for $20+ a person restaurants in fairfax.

Mama and I enjoyed a late lunch together on this rainy, windy day. Service and quality of food was excellent! We had the hot pot with herbal soup base + fatty brisket + all the veggies we want. I enjoyed the sauce bar because I love making my own sauces 😎

Found a little spot here in Fairfax, It is an All U Can Eat joint. I felt like there was not many choices on the menu. I like the special 99c sauce they had premade. The broth I got was the sichuan flavor. Its ok, I would come again if my main spot is full. Service was nice.

Delicious hotpot. Very happy they have lotus root & potato slices to make it taste great with the Sichuan soup base. The free peanuts and pickled veggie they bring out at the beginning are addictive. Tons of options for hotpot additions - they even have pig brain & cow tripe. Very good! Of course it depends a lot on what you choose and how you make your dipping sauce. Laoganma was essential & the sesame balls at end were very nice - home made with heizhima filling.

Weird smell, stale meat, the shrimps and crabs can even melt in your mouth.. and the soup base seems like being diluted by too much water. It’s not a very cheap restaurant, how come they provide such awful foods and services?? VERY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
