"In Waltham, Chinese restaurant Sichuan’s Garden (411 Waverley Oaks Rd.) is now closed due to its owner’s retirement. The restaurant had been open since 1995 and featured a buffet." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

I️ Love Sichuan’s Garden. I️ have been eating here consistently for over a decade and the food quality has always been terrific. The buffet is a great option because I️t has such a wide variety of delicious choices. Take out is equally as delicious and made to a very high standard. Like I️ said, I️ love Sichuan’s garden and I️ think I️t is one of the best semi-expensive Chinese restaurants in the area.

Have been there many times for the evening buffet; their waiters are very well trained, always courteous and friendly. The buffet always has a good variety + is replenished frequently. Have always had a fresh wet napkin and a pot of tea within a minute of being seated. There's always western style desserts at the buffet, but if you go near the weekend, there are more. Read "King Kings" comment, does not come close to my experiences there over the course of several years.

Went there recently for a late dinner (was too late for buffet). Beautiful decor, elegant classical music, very clean, and the waiter was extremely professional. He spoke perfect English (which was good for me and my sister) as well as Chinese (good for my mom). Food was cheap and good. We ordered the duck which had crispy skin. Ma po tofu and the strong beans was great. Would definitely go there again even though there are lots of other Chinese restaurants closer to my house.

Good lunch buffet at a decent price, surprisingly good seafood. Salty but that’s to be expected of American-Chinese food. Weird rules about gentlemen and sleeveless shirts but they’re friendly about it, even offering to lend clothes. Would happily go again for lunch or dinner.

We arrived at 9pm on a Friday, they close at 10:30. While they were taking our drink order they decided to close the buffet, probably because they weren’t very busy, but the buffet was open and people were still going to it, it was arbitrary and rude. The food is ok nothing special, we had guests from out of the country and wanted them to experience the Chinese buffet. We live around the corner so sometimes we get take out, but after this experience I will never patronize them again.

Took my girlfriend here for Christmas day lunch last year. Nice sized floor, and the buffet options were better than I expected. They do not deliver, but this is a buffet style Chinese restaurant, after all. Staff were friendly and periodically checking up on us.

Worst buffet ever. Better spend your money somewhere else. Selection is very limited to about 5 dishes that are staled with rubbery noodles and definitely not fit for consumption. Staff complaining about kids (not mine) eating too much of the buffet cookies. Visit places like the Super Buffet in Marlborough and you will understand what I am talking about.

Just discovered this place about two months ago and have already been there half a dozen times. Food is delicious! Chicken wings are large, moist and crunchy. My favorite dish is Ginger Beef with Green Beans. Their luncheon specials are cheap and plentiful.
