The 24 Best Restaurants In Rome - Rome - The Infatuation

"Siciliainbocca in Prati feels like one of Palermo’s bustling markets, without all of the singing about ricotta in a thick Sicilian dialect. There are ceramics like pinecones and teste di moro lining the walls, while colorful platters of fruit, vegetables, and the fresh catch of the day sit on display. Definitely get something fried in addition to the excellent eggplant caponata and softly-smoked ricotta served with orange chili marmalade, before diving into whatever their special pasta is. Even if you're convinced there's no room left in your stomach post-dinner-feast, think twice: the sweet granita that’s loaded with milk, sugar, and nuts or fruit and paired with a warm, chewy brioche bun is one of the greatest icy desserts you can find in Rome." - annie replogle

Had a fantastic new years eve dinner at this restaurant in Flaminio. They were kind enough to accept our late reservation so that we were able to enjoy a scrumptious Scillian meal. The deserts were also enjoyable. Highly recommend this establishment.

The food came lukewarm and quickly turned cold. Portions are very small for the price you pay. The bread was from two days old for sure. Service is bad, they also have a terrible habit of picking up the empty plates while there are still people eating. It looks like they want us to leave! Toilet is awful, no paper, no soap, the faucet was broken.

Prices were expensive for a quiet, mainly locally populated restaurant. Food was also bland and watery- not worth the travel from the main centre. I ordered the prawns and spaghetti for €16 and it was very watery and had only 3 prawns. Easy to get to however with a tram getting you straight to the restaurant.

Sicilian home cooking. We enjoyed the food, wine selection and ambiance. Friendly service. The desserts were fantastic. The waiter treated us to a digestif that was quite special.

The restaurant boasts an excellent fresh seafood selection and, especially, an enticing, wideranging menu of typical Sicilian dishes, all expertly prepared. I recommend spaghetti con le sarde or alla Norma.

Great food and nice wine but a little expensive. Must visit if you like good quality seafood.

We enjoyed a casual meal, on a Thursday night. The food was good. The atmosphere was welcoming. We had roasted potatoes, a delicious arancini, pasta normale, and grilled swordfish - which I’ve heard is a Sicilian specialty. The price seemed reasonable.

Very Italian. Very Sicilian. Excellent food. Service missing G a few beats sometimes (forgot to.bring an ice bucket for my white wine) but still highly recommend.
