The 25 Best Restaurants In Rome 2024

"Siciliainbocca in Prati feels like one of Palermo’s bustling markets, without all of the singing about ricotta in a thick Sicilian dialect. There are ceramics like pinecones and teste di moro lining the walls, while colorful platters of fruit, vegetables, and the fresh catch of the day sit on display. Definitely get something fried in addition to the excellent eggplant caponata and softly-smoked ricotta served with orange chili marmalade, before diving into whatever their special pasta is. Even if you're convinced there's no room left in your stomach post-dinner-feast, think twice: the sweet granita that’s loaded with milk, sugar, and nuts or fruit and paired with a warm, chewy brioche bun is one of the greatest icy desserts you can find in Rome." - gillian mcguire, annie replogle

Great food and service. Definitely get the dishes that are recommended on the menu. I really enjoyed my pasta dish with pistachio cream sauce and cod fish rolls with a pistachio crust. The dessert here was amazing. I also liked the beautiful decor at this restaurant.

Very much enjoyed my meal here! Highlights were the ricotta and codfish salad starters, pistachio pasta, and lava cake dessert. (Everything was good, though)!

A Hidden Gem for Sicilian Flavours Lovely ambience with a warm, inviting vibe that instantly sets the mood. The Sicilian cuisine was a delightful surprise — we tried the prawn pasta and beef-stuffed dish, both full of rich, authentic flavours and beautifully presented. It’s the kind of place that feels different in the best way — unique, memorable, and perfect to experience with someone special. Highly recommend giving it a try!

The food was tasteful and the atmosphere was good, although in a busy street. Improvement point for service, they should listen better to their customer. If we don't want something, please do not put it on the table anyway. Furthermore the atmosphere was enjoyable.

Food was good, unfortunately service was not. Not only that but when my bill came it said 9€ for bread. I asked one of my waiters and she said it was like a service fee. I said bread is 3€ on the menu I didn’t order three breads only one. No where on the menus does it say they charge a service fee. Perhaps they decided to charge me because they heard I was “Americana” little do they know I live in Rome. A couple people told me to come to this restaurant to try the food but none got charged this “bread fee”. I decided to go in for a few plates to check it out because I was looking for a place to host a party. But when the tone of the main woman in the restaurant changed towards me drastically I said never will I come back here. my “Americana credit card got declined” little did she know over a certain amount it gets blocked and I cannot tap, how ever I used my Italian card and all was fine even if she almost threw my receipt in the tray at me. That’s too bad she ruined my Mother’s Day it was off to a great start.
