Came to celebrate our 6 month wedding anniversary, the food was amazing! The cheese was so melty, and delicious. Great atmosphere- BYOB and amazing Bread. Owner is Eddy - ask for Ava

Google
We just had lunch with our family and some friends and this restaurant is awesome. The food was amazing and the servers were great!! I had the chicken Sabino and it was so good, there was a pink vodka sauce to dip the bread and it was to die for. I will be bringing my friends asap to share this amazing find!

Google
Ordered from here and didn't receive items in the order they pretty much would not do anything to help make the wrong right. No refund said they were closing and that they could do anything to help us. That if we wanted a refund we had to contact Uber eats. The food may be good but the staff are useless. Not the 1st time this has happened

Azmina Pirani-Salameh

Google
Pretty average Italian food. Nothing really special but nothing terrible expect for the fact that my tossed salad was literally lettuce with a slice of tomato(paid $4 for it)…

Michael Terranella

Google
My family has eaten here many times. The food is a 5 star pizzeria quality food. The pizza knots, they served up are hot and delicious! The pizza is outstanding. Looking for and outstanding Italian pizzeria! Look no further! ENJOY!

Ryan

Google
The service was great and fast, and not overly priced. It was cooked perfectly, but everything we ordered was very bland. I tried a slice of pizza, the chicken fettuccine alfredo, the lasagna, the garlic knots, and some meatballs. I love the vibe, and the staff are really friendly, but I really wanted some kind of herbs and spices, flavor. Really wish I could rate this one higher

Google
We felt like we discovered a hidden gem in McKinney. The GIGANTIC rolls were amazing, and food was delicious and reasonably priced. Normally we would take pics of the food, but it was so good and we were so hungry it was devoured too quickly! 😉 We'll definitely be back.

Google
I am from NY, been here almost a year, I’ve been looking for a good pizza and I have failed miserably until tonight when I stumbled on Sicily’s pizza. It’s instantly brought me back to NY. The crust, the sauce, the cook👌👌👌👌If you want a good pizza, definitely try them out. The price is on point. I’ve been trying every pizza place in a 50 mile radius, not one compares to Sicily’s

Yelp
if you're looking for a family, friendly traditional, Italian restaurant with great food and great service this is it. it's family owned and obvious from the minute you walk in, everyone is so it's so welcoming and the food is amazing. I'm not one to try new things but I had something the waitress recommended called chicken Sabino and it was amazing. my wife had a seafood special that had shrimp and scallops, and the flavor was out of this world. The bread is baked fresh and if you still have room for dessert, you have to the cannolis. highly recommended!!!

Yelp
This place is so bland and disgusting. I ordered the Stromboli and the inside was raw and undone. Also the food was cold and the sauce for the Stromboli was mediocre. The sliced pizza is very this with little to NO pizza sauce on it and was also cold and unseasoned. The manager made my friend pay for food they did not like / only took one bite of. On top of that the manager sat at a table across from us eyeing and staring us down the entire time (white guy with short brown haircut and mustache with little bit of a beard growing in) . I would give ZERO stars if I could. Visited : September 3, 2025.

Jeremiah M.

Yelp
The food was nasty,no seasoning,no favor, the service was horrible, the manager force me to pay for the food I only took two bite out of it and I didn't like it at all. The manager also stated me down while I was trying the food and also tried to charge me for food then not give it to me. I felt profiled. I am a Black LBTQ+ transgender woman and I was profiled. I would not recommend eating here. We are not accepted here. Period.

Yelp
This is a petty decent pizza place! The large pies are smaller than I'm used to coming from New York but the flavor is good. I can't say they are always sliced evenly. A lot of times there are a few huge pieces and then others that are smaller when we order the pie. I'd love to see more consistency with that. I wouldn't be able to give 5 stars because it is not New York pizza but it's the closest thing I've found thus far. The garlic knots are not that at all, it is just big huge rolls that really aren't soft at all which was disappointing when expecting garlic knots. I have been ghere at least 5 times and will continue to zone here until I find a place that's spot of for the NY Pizza I'm used too. For now this is the closest thing to it but not perfect.

Ciarra G.

Yelp
The pizza taste really old and it was not very enjoyable. I would never try this place ever again.

Yelp
This place has good pizza. It's my families go to spot as of now. Coming from NY we tried several pizza places in Dallas and were underwhelmed by all of them except Sicilys! It reminds me of a good pizza spot in NY. If anyone is looking for a solid NY style pizza place in the DFW area, this place is a good place to start ".

Celeste W.

Yelp
Food , Service , Atmosphere is Great!! The bread and my entree were amazing!!! Definitely recommend this restaurant!!!
google avatar

Lauren B.

Yelp
We love this little local spot! We always get the tortellini. The rolls are massive and we like them with the pink sauce and goop. It's a good one if you're looking for a casual Italian spot that you can wear whatever you want to dine.

Yelp
This place is incredible i highly recommend the source is super good, the pasta is nice, the bread is fresh, the waiters are super nice, and I love the look of the place along with the music it's such a amazing restaurant I would give it 6 stars if I could.

Yelp
Italian dinging nights out bring about memories of the movie Lady and the Tramp. Very inexpensive and delivers on what you order in a timely manner. It is BYOB and I did bring a bottle of chianti to have with the meal. Getting ready for summer pool time, I have put away my pasta consumption and will order salad to go with pizza, yet start the evening with calamari. Yea, I know, breading in pizza and grease and breading on the calamari, I could have had the pasta and probably a cream sauce and still kept the carb count the same. But let's talk about the food. The calamari was a large portion and tender, though we ran out of sauce about 3/4 of the way through. The flavor of the breading was tasty, but the calamari itself was very bland. We asked for the house salads ($3.99) to be served with our 12" Special Toppings Pizza ($17.99). The pizza crust (thin) was textured well, but once again, not much flavor. The toppings and sauce were similar in offerings with salads, which were mainly head lettuce with some red cabbage. Choice of dressings were limited to house (like a Catalina) or Ranch, which I chose and again, thin on flavor. I was really looking forward to their free dinner rolls, which I read about in other reviews. The serving looked impressive like other reviews stated, however, our two rolls, which stand up 4 and 1/2" high were dry. The density of those rolls was very think . We had to pull apart pieces from each to dip into a garlic, olive oil dipping plate. Our server was quite efficient and very pleasant. Water glasses (we requested lemon slices and were served huge slices) always refilled in a timely manner. A very large to go box was supplied to us to take the other half of the pizza home and it did reheat in aluminum foil in a small oven. Our check was presented at the table and I took it to the front counter where the cash register attends to To Go Orders. I left a cash tip, which I recommend everyone to do. So, would I recommend this restaurant? It is a very basic serving of Italian food, good for very casual dining. It is close to home and would be easy to go to without caring about getting dressed up, but then, the Tramp in the movie did not even wear a collar. Yup, will probably go back.

Yelp
I found it this time to be dirty. The owner smokes in the kitchen. Wallpaper pealing off the walls. It really is a shame. Our Police department eats there all the time because the owner does a lot for the department but that doesn't mean you can let things go. Run down I guess the term is.
google avatar

Michael N.

Yelp
Food was wrong but it was corrected. Manager and owner were awesome. Order was fixed and was delicious.
google avatar

Kevin R.

Yelp
Yeah it's really good I don't understand why people are complaining It's like a cheaper Olive Garden 9/10
google avatar

Ryan G.

Yelp
Place was cheap however it was still over priced for the slop they serve you . The rolls are huge but hard and have little flavor . The spaghetti was good.

Yelp
A friend mentioned this is her favorite Italian place in McKinney, so I had to try it. My review is based on having it delivered (via Favor). GARLIC ROLLS. These are not your standard bread rolls...these are huge, homemade (yes, you can tell!), dense, and moist rolls. I ordered the "with goop" option which came with freshly minced garlic and olive oil mixed for dipping. I also ordered a side of alfredo to dip as well. The rolls are a must! The fettuccini alfredo was good. Plenty of sauce and a huge portion. The chicken on my husband's fettuccini was a bit chewy. I also wish the entree came with cheese on the side or on top of the fettuccini alfredo like you usually receive at restaurants for this dish...a key component! Everything was packed well by the restaurant and still hot when delivered. We will order from them again!

Yelp
I used to work in McKinney 10 years ago for about 10 years and this was one of my favorite places to go to lunch. We got to know their daily lunch specials and they are all excellent! Whenever I am in the area, we must order some delicious comfort food. Today's order was my favorite- Penne pasta and the garlic knot rolls are HUGE!! Not too garlicky, more yeasty, and SO, SO good!! I love to support mom and pop restaurants and this is one of our all-time favorites.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
Some of the best Italian food around! Visited for the first time last night and fell in LOVE with their lasagna. My husband tried the pasta sampler and that was also incredible! When you go, you have GOT to try their bread rolls! They are HUGE!!! I am so excited that I've found my new favorite Italian food restaurant!

Caleb J.

Yelp
Great food, but when ordering to-go, there is little to no care for packaging the food. All the pasta is naturally covered in sauce, but with the paper lids and bag, it is almost certain you will lose half of it in the bag. Again I've been going here for years, but have always had this problem. They updated the front of the store, which looks a lot nicer. However it is preferred to eat in the restaurant, as your spaghetti will not find itself in a plastic bag!

Adrianna M.

Yelp
Walked in and told to sit any where. But the servers ignored us and helped other customers that came in after us. We were not offered drinks or told someone would be with us shortly, nothing. I've been a server before, greeting and acknowledging a customer is very important. Even if you're busy. Used to be one of our favorite places. Not anymore.

Yelp
Pizza is the way to my heart. Growing up in NY you learn to appreciate a good slice of pizza very quickly. So every time I'm looking to have some comfort food, I order pizza. After reading some great reviews about Sicily's P&P, I had to try it. Ordered a large cheese pizza (extra baked) which I did curbside pickup for. The pizza was good, just not sure if it was great. The bread was too soggy for my liking but the sauce was just right. I'd most likely give this place another shot once they have dine in. This way I can have the pizza while it's fresh out of the oven to see if that makes a difference. Service was excellent since they were extremely efficient with bringing the orders out. I did like not having to wait once I got there.

Yelp
We ordered their Chicken Picata and disappointed. The dish was tasteless and presented like chicken noodle soup, sauce was like soup, chicken was tough and no seasoning, I asked for capers for the picata and they never heard of it, We asked for more bread, never got it and to top it off when we complained about the meal the waitress said "not my problem" instead of getting the manager or trying to fix it, won't be back.

Yelp
So some background, I've been going to this place regularly since I was 14 or 15. Over time, my family got to know this family. They are salt of the earth people. Just as memorable, as their fantastic food, that I've driven over an hour to have is the great staff I've watched grow up generation after generation. My personal favorite here is the Sausage and Pepper Parmesan. No one is surprised when I order it. We've celebrated there for countless birthdays, many random lunches, and shared hugs with them at all points. The food is solid. Now, living in Nashville, I struggle to find a place that fills me with as much joy as coming here. Great times, full bellies, and full hearts. I'd write this review even if I didn't know the people here.

Elizabeth Tortorello S.

Yelp
I paid 10.00 for a piece of cheesecake that was as small as this pic. I added my finger to reference. That is ridiculous.

Yelp
I went to Sicily's for lunch with a friend while we were in McKinney for work. What a nice little family-owned joint! I wouldn't say this is the most authentic Italian I've ever had, but it is delicious, filling and the prices can't be beat. The lunch special is definitely a great deal. On the day we went I had baked ziti and salad for $9. The ziti was so filling and such a large quantity that I took half home for lunch the next day. Keep an eye out for the complimentary rolls. They are HUGE (how do they get them to rise like that?) and nicely seasoned. The arrive atop butter packets, so the butter is nicely softened to spread on the rolls. Not that they need it, but who cares? In my opinion, any restaurant that has a significant number of police, fire, politicians and local press grabbing lunch and chatting with the owner is a place to add to your eat-at list. Sicily's ticks all of those boxes!

Rachel A.

Yelp
We loved date night at Sicily's! Food was affordable, plentiful and delicious. The bread rolls are giant and very yummy. Sicily's has top notch customer service and they do a lot for the community and police. We will continue to make this a regular.

Yelp
One cheese pizza. One piece of cheesecake. Chicken Alfredo and a chicken parm spaghetti for $60. Got a little bread. But that's it? I mean a salad with my order would be nice. $3.95 for a piece of sams club cheesecake? Really! The food was average! The pizza was good but for the price it wasn't that good!
google avatar

Brad G.

Yelp
You've got to start out with an order of their bread. I tried the Pasta Sampler (Lasagna,Manicotti,Cannelloni). They offer it with pink or red sauce. You will see many people recommend the pink sauce which is a mix of alfredo and marinara sauce. I went with the red even though I sampled the pink and it was delicious. Everything has a home made taste. The little mom and pop shop may not be fancy but they know how to make Italian food. I wish they had a location in Houston.
google avatar

Michelle A.

Yelp
Ordered for delivery via UberEats ... Uber driver clueless and delivered to wrong house after 45 minute wait. Salad ok ... dry chicken. Calzone highlight of the meal. Spaghetti and meatballs ... tasty meatball, bland sauce. Pasta Sampler swimming in sauce, pasta unidentifiable and inedible. One entree completely left out of order that was delivered. Will not try Sicily's or UberEats again.

Yelp
Great food, staff and hometown supporters. I love walking into a place and feeling like family.

Mark H.

Yelp
We normally love this place, but we arrived 10 minutes before close and they were not able to seat us but we were able to order to go. The order was completed quickly, but once we got home, we noted that the sauce was quite watery and not as robust and flavorful on our spaghetti as usual.
google avatar

Amy C.

Yelp
Really enjoy the friendly staff! Love their pizzas, tortellini alfredo and pasta combo!!
google avatar

Patricia N.

Yelp
Love their house dressing and entire menu. This is our favorite place for Italian. Can't get enough of their fresh and addictive Italian bread rolls.
google avatar

Erik L.

Yelp
Went to this place based off of some reviews that we read and let me tell you. Were never going back! Since when do you not put capers on chicken piccata. The server literally told me that they don't add capers. That was my wife's dish. I had Chicken in a Mushroom Brandy Cream Sauce with noodles. I ate the noodles as the chicken was not fresh and very dry. This place had no pride in there food and it was garbage. Only 2 things actually were good, the bread rolls and the pizza. Btw they didn't even offer or have olive oil and Parmesan with the warm bread. Very disappointed!
google avatar

Kaylee S.

Yelp
Double thumbs up!!! Amazing food, tastes so authentic, what a treat! We love finding places like this. A friend recommended it to us and we are more then pleased. Go try them out
google avatar

Kelly E.

Yelp
Absolutely love it. Their fettuccini Alfredo is incredible. I could argue it's even better than their pizza and their pizza is great. We love it. Friendly staff and good prices for what it is. It's our new favorite pizza place.
google avatar

Allen M.

Yelp
Love it , been a fan since 1994! Great people! Good Food! Pizza, Pasta and the Rolls!

Jackey B.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Best food I've never tried that I've ever had! Warm cozy! Beautiful people! I'm
google avatar

Ayleen A.

Yelp
I usually get their chicken cappuccino, but this time I decided to venture out and get their chicken piccata. It left much to be desired. It was essentially spaghetti in a lemon sauce with boiled chicken- it lacked salt and acidity as it had no capers. The chicken could definitely be improved out. This is not the typical chicken piccata you would imagine.

Joe P.

Yelp
Great place with great food. Very inexpensive. Waitstaff was attentive and fast. Fun place. Give it a go. BYOB.
google avatar

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Yum, yum, yum! What can I say...the pizza was delicious (cheesy and fresh veggies!!!) The garlic rolls were huge, tender, and obviously made right there, the prices were affordable and the service is commendable. You can tell this is a mom and pop shop that cares about their customers. We used to order Pizza Hut twice a month...nope, we will be here on Fridays instead!!!
google avatar

Randy T.

Yelp
I've been going here for years now and will continue to go as long as they have the great food and service they've continued to have for so long. Great food, great service, great pricing, and bring your own vino, what more could you want?

Felicia K.

Yelp
Excellent food. The rolls are amazing and the pizza is excellent. Friendly owner Family owned business
google avatar

Amy F.

Yelp
First let me say this was a Door Dash delivery. My delivery person was given the wrong appetizer and my pizza was burnt on the bottom. I know wood fired pizza but this has a distinct burnt taste. Not impressed.
google avatar

Terri J.

Yelp
I get it. It's Tex-Italian, not authentic. But I at least expect for it to taste somewhat good. I'm sorry, but just because this is a "mom and pop" locally owned Mckinney business, that doesn't give them a free Yelp pass. The food here is absolutely disgusting. You heard me. Let's start with the mozzarella sticks: The oil needs changing. They had a horrible fish smell to them probably due to the calamari that they got cross contact with. They were also out of a bag, something I can get at any restaurant around here. The rolls that everyone raves about are nothing more than huge crusty dried softballs. Half of them were overcooked or burnt. Speaking of burnt: lobster Ravioli was super expensive and lacked any lobster at all. (Confirmed with waitress they are a frozen product) Middles were ice cold and they arrived covered in the ugliest sauce ever. The sauce was scorched so it was overly bitter. Kids had alfredo and I'm sorry...it shouldn't be a soup! Zero flavor and it took over 45 minutes to get entrees. I'm all for supporting local businesses, but I'm sorry: This place is just as pricey as Olive Garden, but at least there the food tastes somewhat pleasant. Won't be back and I think it's really sad that this place gets high marks for simply being local.
google avatar

Carlos L.

Yelp
The best pizza in DFW! Everything is made from scratch and tastes wonderful. We are originally from NJ so we know a little bit about Italian food. Their pizza is the closest to what we were used to in NY/NJ. The owners are wonderful people and they are always present to treat you like family! They treat us like we have known each other our entire lives! You will not regret trying this place out, great variety of delicious dishes.
google avatar

Xiao L.

Yelp
First time being there. But the restaurant has been there for a long time. Superb service. Delicious food. The owner was helping around in the restaurant, taking care of customers talking to people. I like this warm and home feeling environment. My husband ordered calzone with olives. But they got the order wrong, didn't put olive in it. We were ok with it, just want to remind them that they didn't put olives in it. But surprisingly, they cooked us a new calzone with olives and packed it for us to take home. The freshed backed bread tastes so good. Anyway, 5 stars to this Italian restaurant.
google avatar

Brian K.

Yelp
Easy to miss this pizza place from the road, but when you find it you'll enjoy fresh ingredients and friendly staff. Solid slate of appetizers on the menu makes up for a pizza that's just a cut above average. Clean shop, but rather inattentive staff - you'll pay up front.

Rich L.

Yelp
I'm from Long Island and have been going to Sicily's for over 21 years, great found and pizza just like New York. Eddie is always there and makes sure the food is great!

Jill H.

Yelp
Did they change ownership? They used to be our go to pizza place. Pizza crust had great flavor, puffy on edge and thick. We have ordered 3 times starting during Covid lock down and into last week and we've been disappointed 3 times. Crust not the same, and lucky to get one piece of mushroom and sausage on each slice! The mozzerella still tasted really good but there was much less on the pizza then they used to put! Really disappointing and now we are looking for a new place to get pizza!
