"A menu stacked with 50 burgers and 50 brews is confirmed to be on the way to Town Square and Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews is rapidly putting the finishing touches on its hot rod- and garage-themed interior that already includes two vehicles welded to the ceiling. Now officially scheduled for a fall debut, Sickies moves into the former Claim Jumper restaurant, close to the center of the retail hub and next to the children’s park. Launched in Fargo, North Dakota, in 2012, and now expanded to North and South Dakota, Minnesota, and Nebraska, the family-friendly brand has won a slew of awards for its “turbocharged” burgers, including the Hacksaw built with three layers of sourdough bread, two patties, Sickies’ own sauce, and melted Swiss and cheddar cheeses. Dallas-based Jones Baker Interiors & Architecture is helming the design tribute to auto shops and mounted the rusty frames of a classic Chevrolet sedan and a vintage Ford pick-up truck above the heads of future customers in the main dining room. Currently hiring, the huge, casual menu also includes chicken wings, sandwiches, salads, wraps, and fish and chips, plus old fashioned sodas, shakes, and malts, Announced opening hours will be 11 a.m. to midnight daily, with two happy hours scheduled from 3 to 6 p.m and 9 p.m. until closing, except Saturday when the deals begin at 9 p.m." - Bradley Martin

Google
Good food, good price. Great service, Jazmin was supper accommodating. The sickies burger was really good. I recommend it and this joint. Two thumbs up!

Google
Classical American Location. The food was good for what it was. One of the people at our table spilled a beverage and our server did not care much. It took them 10-15 minutes to get any towels or a mop over there. Other than that, the entire experience was enjoyable and the staff was nice.

Google
Always a pleasure to dine at Sickies. It’s definitely one of my favorite restaurants in town. I love the good food and the awesome service. I like that they feature new tasty dishes on their menu in addition to their classics too. That keeps it fun. They offer neat promotions and great coupons all the time too. I honestly can’t say enough good things about them!! They’re just the best!

Google
We had spectacular burgers, I highly recommend this place! Oh, and don’t forget to upgrade to the cheese curds! You won’t be disappointed.

Google
Cool spot with awesome food. Chill atmosphere.. Alyssa the Hostess is very funny and personable.. Zack on the attack was fast and on it. Good job to everyone there. Long Islands are delicious!

Jayvee De Ocampo

Google
Great burgers with so many different kinds of selections! Big servings too! The atmosphere is great with good music. Staff are friendly and very efficient. Would recommend the place!

Google
Very enjoyable first visit experience. The menu is almost intimidating, but in a good way!! Can't wait to visit again and try additional items. Great place.

Google
This was an alright spot to stop in at, lots of burger options! They do have a gluten free bun, I wish they had some more options, but I’ll take what I can get. I asked for no fried onions and my burger came with them on… I didn’t really like the music they were playing, but overall the space and atmosphere was good and elevated the meal. Will definitely be going back sometime when in the area and need somewhere to eat.. the rewards seem pretty good too!

Yelp
burgers are great! seating myself left me waiting for a server to 'find' me but I grabbed one passing by. the food came out HOT! & I loved it. I enjoyed the ambiance of looking above and admiring the antique pickup cabs.

Yelp
OMAR! THANK YOU! We had the best time at Sickies in Fargo, the atmosphere was just what we were looking for - casual, sports bar vibes. When I tell you the menu is exhaustive I'm not lying. These burgers are freaking WILD. We spent 45 min on the menu lol. We loved everything we got - the crazy crazy sickies burger with brisket and egg and I added the jalapeño cream cheese. Y'all DONT SLEEP ON THE JALAPEÑO CREAM CHEESE. If your burger doesn't have it like the Sickies burger didn't, you can get a side. The side is massive and has corn in it. It was DELISH!!! thanks to Omar for being so patient, we all had a very annoying order and he didn't flinch. He remembered everything to the T, including providing a large spicy ranch cup for our mango habanero wings. The kid loved the thick Oreo milkshake, plus we saw they had like 8 adult milkshakes with booze that looked fabulous but we were already too full. It was the best time. Thank you so much OMAR YOU ARE AMAZING. He even sent us home with sprites to go. We love you!

Yelp
This is a great spot to order a burger To-Go. I would not recommend dining in. The burgers are good to-go burgers. Buns are cold in store so what is the difference?! Service is slow and I have witnessed multiple beers sold out as I have sat at the bar tonight instead of my hotel hotub....

Esther P.

Yelp
My sandwich was good, I had tater tots to go with it, those would have been good had they come to the table hot! I like the ambiance. Service was good, waitress was very engaged.

Regan C.

Yelp
Food and service were both good. I ordered grilled cheese and had Chili on the side. Previously I have ordered shakes and those are great too!

allison f.

Yelp
Restaurant was very clean and service was pleasant. Service was so quick with getting food and drinks out during a lunch rush. Both meals were ordered off the lunch menu. Cheese curds are definitely a must here, they were so delicious. Hot Rod sandwich was average. Chicken Caesar salad was as a good hardy portion.

Ross D.

Yelp
Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews had a great atmosphere, friendly and attentive wait staff, and delicious food!

Yelp
Slow service . Overcooked pretzel bites forgot silverware. Burger greasy with no flavor. Chicken was blah. Not impressed, one and done

Pizz A.

Yelp
So the beer a service is quite ok, the food here is absolutely awful though. The happy hour PBR was cold and my server was fantastic, but I ordered the poutine burger was extremely disappointing, everything in my plate was pre packed and microwaved. Go for the beer, not the food

Kenneth Y.

Yelp
I am rarely disappointed at Sickies Garage. I brought two friends along this time who had never been before and they were impressed, good quality and service and helpful suggestions from the server how to best order my burger for my satisfaction. Two new customers who will be back again!

Jay D.

Yelp
Food was great. Service was good. We felt welcomed and valued. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a burger and beer place. Two thumbs up!

Maddie N.

Yelp
I usually don't leave reviews but it was a very bad experience. I would leave 0 stars if that was possible. The service was terrible, our waiter took forever to stop by our table and was busy having a conversation with a coworker; mind you it was not busy with plenty of open tables and staff just standing around. To make matters worse, when I reciever my salad, a bug crawled out from inside the bowl. The staff just brushed it off as though it wasn't a big deal.

Yelp
Are here one night while starting in Fargo. Came in late, was treated well by the server. Asked for recommendations and was very happy with what I ordered. Would eat here again as it's a nice restaurant with decent grub and great service.

Laura T.

Yelp
Stopped here while passing through town. It's a one and done for us. Better burgers, beer, and staff interactions at JL Beers downtown.

Tammy N.

Yelp
Disappointing that the lunch menu no longer includes a drink. we would go there for the included beverage, now it's no different than anywhere.

Mitch S.

Yelp
I went here for lunch and overall I give it a score of 3.2/5 A great ambience and atmosphere with a great assortment of car and automobile accessories which made it enjoyable to look around at everything. I got the jalapeño and cheese curd burger and I'd say it was fairly average. It wasn't good, but it didn't knock my socks off either. Also I like a medium burger and this was well done and wasn't very juicy on the inside at all. The price was fairly reasonable but some of the burgers are pretty outlandish for the portion. I would say this is a great place if you're looking to try a peanut butter and jalapeño burger or something different but doesn't quite live up to the name of sickies burgers as much as I'd hoped

D Z.

Yelp
Not near what it used to be. Too expensive and much smaller portions regarding the sides. Food is always room temperature.

Ethan T.

Yelp
I visited Sickies on 12/13/21. I've been going to Sickies since day 1, when they were originally operating out of the Hub. Or maybe it was Playmakers. I don't remember for sure. Since then, I've visited their Fargo location multiple times, along with Sioux Falls & Bismarck. Their new rewards program is great. Sign up to find out for yourself. I also appreciate the 20% military discount that Sickies has. I've defeated their a Victory Lap challenge before. One of my favorite parts about Sickies is being able to choose what seasoning you want on your fries. My favorites include the Cajun & cinnamon sugar. Their burger menu is huge & is always changing!

Michelle K.

Yelp
By far the worst burger I've ever had. I should have looked at the other reviews before going here but we were traveling and it was one of the only places still open. It's expensive and absolutely terrible. I really don't know what else to say because "terrible" sums it up.

Joe M.

Yelp
I went because of the reviews. Disappointed. Barley there service. Old fries, overcooked tasteless burger. I don't get it.

Tori M.

Yelp
My 1 star goes to our waitress and waitress only. The food was terrible! I ordered nachos and my boyfriend got the chicken parm sandwich. Taco Bell nachos are way better and that's not saying much. The menu says the tortilla chips are homemade but they were 100% obviously not. My boyfriends sandwich was just a big ol chunk of chicken, bread, and salty garlic sauce. At the end of the night we ordered the creme brûlée cheesecake and root beer float to go and dear lord it look 15 mins for them to literally cut a slice of cheesecake and bring it over. Service was also extremely slow, however the waitress was friendly. $50 wasted!! I'm disgusted I spent that much money on terrible food. Would not recommend.

Claire H.

Yelp
Came here for a snack- BLT and appetizers with a friend. Sandwich- delish, tater tots, as expected, green bean fries- who knew a veggie could be so tasty battered, fried and dipped in avocado ranch?! The tater kegs were a little disappointing after reading the menu and the sour cream dip was just not the treat I was expecting. Maybe order seasoned with just plain sour cream? I would give that a try.

Emily R.

Yelp
Great service. Food was good. Lots of choices of drinks. Menu is A LOT of burgers Ordered the Kobe classic. I found it odd that our server didn't ask me how I wanted my burger cooked (well, medium well, etc.) but overall everything was good!

Ryan H.

Yelp
CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS! On Wednesday, we decided to eat at Sickies. We have always had great service and the food has been nothing short of amazing. Wednesday was the exception. Our food wasn't up to the standard we were accustomed to and the service was far from spectacular. This morning, I noticed a charge that was different than our bill. I called and spoke to a manager, who was very helpful and sent me a copy of my receipt. Our server changed the total on our receipt to increase her tip! Seriously? Granted it is only $5, but it is beyond the money. I can assure you I'm not the first person this happened to. Later today, I received a phone call from the Director of Operations. I am appalled by the lack of professionalism. He started our conversation in a manner that he insinuated that I made the change and didn't recall. Again, this is $5! He also mentioned that he "might" investigate this further. Earlier I was told security cameras were being reviewed and due to their "no tolerance policy" this employee would be terminated. After a few times of him laughing during our conversation and me becoming, justifiably, upset, he hung up on me. I have no doubt this employee won't be dealt with and business will carry on. I will be filing a police report in the morning as, after my discussion with Director of Operations, this is the only way I can assure this will be handled.

Breeanna M.

Yelp
Only been here for a month and this is my 4th time eating here because it's THAT GOOD. The Jalapeño Popper supercharged burger is by far my favorite item on the menu. Oh, and don't forget to ask for rusty bucket seasoning on your fries!

Joel A.

Yelp
New menu from last year when we where here. Lots easier to read. I had the Sickies burger. Was great. My sone had the Hangover burger. Messy but he enjoyed it! Will be back again.

Matt F.

Yelp
There's a whole lot of people that like this place, but the 2 times I was there, was left disappointed with the wings and service. The environment is alright, sort of Dave and Busters style. I only give a place 2 chances and if they disappoint both times, I move on.

Brad B.

Yelp
The waitress was very friendly and attentive The fish was a little soggy and needed to cook a little longer and the condiments should have been put on the side to keep the fish from getting soggy

Dan G.

Yelp
Jalapeño Peanut Butter Burger with Rusty Bucket tots and beer cheese dip. Good luck getting anything done at work after that! Always good food and always great service!

Terry G.

Yelp
I stopped in with some friends for lunch and I liked the decor as soon as I arrived. The place was clean and our waitress served us with a constant smile. I ordered hot wings to share and they were big and meaty but not spicy hot as the menu indicated. I also ordered the Sick Rib for my main entree. The Sick Rib is the meat from a pork rib on a bun lightly coated with bbq sauce with onions and pickles. It was good, plenty of rib meat and the sauce was just enough to flavor but not overwhelm. I thought the prices were fair, the food was good and our server was very good. I will return on my next trip to the north country to sample something else from the menu ( next spring ).

Aslin C.

Yelp
We are just driving through town Brewery hopping and this place was within a few steps of quite a few hotels actually. The service was great. The food was bomb. And the beer list and the atmosphere was perfect. Literally something for everyone. I can't recommend it enough.

Rich B.

Yelp
Starting with the bad and ending with the good: The fried pickles came with a spicy sauce that no one at our table liked. We asked for some ranch dressing instead. We were brought a tiny cup, that was depleted before the pickles were finished. It was a surprise when we were charged $.99 on the bill for ranch dressing. I probably could have had it removed, but I didn't notice until later. Also, we seated around 5:30 and almost immediately ordered the fried pickles. It wasn't until I got home I realized that we weren't charged the happy hour price, but instead the full price. The food, however, was very good. My burger was one of the best I've had in recent memory. The fries were crisp and hot. And the fried pickles were plentiful.

Lisa B.

Yelp
We stopped here at the end of the lunch rush traveling through from our trip out west back to Wisconsin. Interesting place. Food was pretty decent, sweet potato fries rather cold, but don't worry our fantastic waitress Mel was right on top of that and fresh hot ones were brought out to the table. Our waitress also kindly divided our chocolate malt into three so we could share (she obviously was listening closely) and I thought that was very nice. She also took our entire order without writing down anything and the oder was absolutely correct. Many thanks.

Pauline C.

Yelp
This was such an awesome restaurant. Pricing was fair, service was awesome, and food was delicious. The staff did a good job making sure parties were spaced out thoroughly all while giving quick and helpful service. The fries were so crispy and seasoned to perfection. The burgers were very unique and juicy as well. In addition to incredible food they have a wide variety of beer, wine, and cocktails. I ordered the cherry lime mule and it was delicious! I am so glad we found this spot and would definitely return with my friends and family. Check it out if given the opportunity!

Dan A.

Yelp
We tried a new burger - we never seem to run out of options! Never get tired of trying a different burger. Tonight the Mozzarati- great pizza burger option. Yum.

Robyn L.

Yelp
This was my second time going to Sickies and they did not disappoint! Food was amazing, service was second to none. This will definitely become a monthly dining out destination.

Wallace B.

Yelp
Traveling food porn update. This is the reigning champ for best burger in Fargo, and one of the best food stops so far. In fact I've eaten here twice because it's so good. Let's start with the atmosphere. If you are a gearhead, be it rat rods, old trucks, or bikes. You will feel at home as soon as you see the building. If you could careless about those things, you still will find amazing, funky, gourmet burgers AND some of the best wings, this guy has had. I went with their signature "Sickies Burger". As my server proudly pronounced, "We aren't too big on veggies around here." This thing is a heart attack master piece, in all the best ways. Thick cut, smoked, peppered bacon, onion rings, America cheese, BBQ sauce, pulled pork, a perfectly seasoned beef patty, and Frank's Red Hot just because. It is a work of art between a bun. Now the wings. I went "boneless". What can I say except "they have more meat". These however weren't the usual "Wing Street" more breading than meat, precooked crap. These were large chunks of lightly breaded and fried to perfection hunks of amazing. The sauce and dry spice options are just as funk as the burgers. I tried two sauces on my order of 10. PB&J and Jameson sauces. PB&J is a thick slightly sweet peanut sauce that gave a bit of Asian flair. It had a little bit of tang to finish it off. The Jameson is named due to the famous whiskey used in it's making. Just a nice sweet barbeque sauce with a familiar background note. Last but not least, the service. Everyone is super friendly, and genuinely seem like they want to be here. Of all the burger joints I've dined on, Sickies is the current front runner for champ.

Trista B.

Yelp
Ordered pickup online for lunch today. Arrived 7 minutes before order said it was done, just in case they finished early, as I was on a time crunch. Parked in the MARKED Curbside pickup lanes and tried calling number listed on sign. Rang forever, no answer. Tried again, no answer. I parked and tried to go in the side entrance, near curbside pickup. Locked. Tried calling again. Finally someone answered. I said "I'm here for a pickup order" and the only response I got was "ok..." I asked them to bring it out and there reply was "oh, we don't do that any more." Would be nice if their signs were covered or there was a note somewhere on the website! Parked and walked inside front door and stood at host counter for several minutes. Was then instructed to go to the bar for assistance. No server at the bar. Stood there for several more minutes until the host finally stopped and asked if I had been helped yet. Finally received service - my food had been in the warmer the entire time and was soggy & cold by the time I received it, 10 minutes after the promised pick up time and 18 minutes after I arrived at the location. Pre-paid a tip online that I wish I could have back. Not to mention, this is during a winter snowstorm in North Dakota and there are no parking spaces indicated for pickup orders (other than the curbside ones that apparently are no longer in use...) so I had to park in the back of the lot, which honestly would not have been a big deal, but at this point I was frustrated. Overall, the servers were friendly, but not very attentive. The server supposed to be at the bar was folding silverware/making coffee (something like that; I could only see her back) and never thought to look around and see if anyone was at the bar. Notes for management: Cover the curbside signs and answer your phone. I like your food but I'm not willing to go through all of this just to get a takout order.

Becky H.

Yelp
I ordered a Chicken Caesar salad and the chicken was cold/barely warm and hard as a hockey puck. the other food seemed alright.

Joseph P.

Yelp
A popular place on Saturday, oddly, especially with families with really small kids who use food as projectiles. Burgers are imaginative in design, but just OK in execution. You can only get them one way: Well Done, even upon special request (we tried). Maybe try other items? Service was pleasant and efficient, but some of the fool was lukewarm.

Todd H.

Yelp
Service was good, food should have been hotter when it arrived at the table. The bacon on my burger was super hard. Not all that impressed, but will give them another chance.

Devvin T.

Yelp
Sickies is an overall solid burger joint to eat at, unfortunately last time I ordered food here I was extremely disappointed. I called in for pickup and the woman who took my order was rude. I ordered the BBQ Wood Chipper with a side of cajun fries, my burger had almost no brisket but other than that was good. I was only given a handful of fries and they were just regular instead of cajun. My spouse ordered a Beer Cheese Burger which was mediocre and the croutons on it were very soggy, she was also only given a small amount of fries. The fried pickles weren't horrible but they were pretty soggy and all stuck together, in all my order of two burgers and fried pickles came to $38. For almost spending $40 I am extremely unsatisfied in the food I received.

Jim F.

Yelp
Well the name is appropriate. One in our party had bad GI issues all night after eating here. Even besides that, I can't for the life of me understand what the draw is here. Whole place feels like it was created by a bunch of suits.

Alice A.

Yelp
Probably one of the best burger places in town. Been there a few times, such a fun place if you're craving a burger. Great list of options to pick from, and a nice beer list as well! The concept is super fun. You definitely feel like you are halfway in a modern garage and a diner.

Maria R.

Yelp
I usually love chicken wings but I wasn't happy with the wings here. Too salty and not very flavorful. Also there were tiny bones in the meat. I had to make sure I did not choke . We ordered mango habanero and hurricane wings. They should marinate longer and take it easy on the salt. I do not recommend this place.

Vyshali M.

Yelp
There is a burger place in Seattle that I miss A LOT!! It usually lands in the top 3 burger place in Washington. LITERALLY!!! After trying Sickies, it's just as amazing! Really great quality food. Bacon is so good and not soggy or gross. The best dipping sauce is the spicy ranch. I definitely recommend!

Sheilarae S.

Yelp
I have been going to sickies off and on for a while now. I have always had good food and good service. Today the burgers were a little dry and not very hot. Not sure what happened as they were not that busy today

Sydney K.

Yelp
Sickies has a cool atmosphere inside. The food choices are nearly endless although the quality is not very great. We came in a big group and some people got wings, burgers, and sandwiches. The burgers were over cooked, but the toppings were delicious. The wild Willy's sauce on the wings is recommended as well as the sweet potato fries!

Neal W.

Yelp
Decent place for bar food. They do have quite the array of burgers. I had the buffalo chicken salad and it met expectations. Service was adequate but nothing special. Safe bet if your not overly adventurous.
