Side Door - Review - The Village - Mammoth - The Infatuation

"Walking into the Side Door feels like stepping into a European cafe that’s also a wine bar and shop with a selection of more than 300 bottles. It’s located at The Village at Mammoth and serves up paninis, fondue, and tapas, although we’re quite partial to the dessert crepes with options like s’mores, which is stuffed with chocolate ganache, marshmallows, and graham crackers. Choose from a long wine and beer list, or try one of Side Door’s cocktails, like the High West Rattlesnake, a blend of double rye whiskey and Little Green Monster, a 120-proof absinthe from the nearby Shelter Distilling. The cozy outdoor patio is heated and our favorite spot to take in all of the Village action. An added bonus: it’s dog-friendly." - Danielle Bauter

A Hidden Gem in Mammoth Village! Side Door is the best-kept secret in Mammoth! Tucked away in the village, this cozy spot delivers in every way—from food to vibes. Their crepes are absolutely delicious, with a gluten-free batter that’s light, flavorful, and perfect for sweet or savory cravings. Don’t skip the breakfast potatoes—they’re crispy, buttery perfection, easily some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The espresso is rich and bold, and their award-winning Bloody Mary? Totally lives up to the hype. Whether you’re coming in for a slow breakfast, a chill lunch, or a cozy dinner with friends, Side Door hits the mark every time. Can’t wait to come back!

I really wanted to like this place. It’s well located in the main village square and it has a good selection of classic crepes but when I went in this afternoon with my husband and baby, blocking the small entrance with my stroller and desperately looking for someone to asist me, I was met with shear indifference from the 5 staff present, none of whom cared about my presence enough to ask me if I need a table or anything at all for that matter. We left disappointed after a few minutes of waiting.

Google
We went in for wine and dinner however the place was totally empty. The staff were eating their meal when we walked in and it looked like we disturbed them. I asked them what was on the happy hour menu and she didn’t know if they had a happy hour and told me it ended at 5. I told her it ended at 6 and she had no idea of what was on the menu and said the tapas and a cocktails might be 10% off. Well we ended up leaving a bit disappointed however if you look at other reviews I think we made the best decision.

Google
We ordered some delicious dessert crepes from Side Door Wine Bar and Cafe! We got the s’mores crepe and the Cinnamon Roll crepe and they were soo tasty! They also have yummy savory crepes as well as other fabulous food to eat. They also have a full bar wine bar as well as a fully stocked bar for cocktails.

Google
A dark, empty, and depressing place. The employees were sitting in the back playing on their phones. My order was taken by a young lady who looked like she'd just woken up from a nap, and the cook seemed annoyed that he had to get up from his chair. I couldn't eat my sandwich because the meat tasted so bad. It was completely overcooked, dry, and salty. A horrible experience.

Google
After a long wonderful sunny day enjoying the mountain I came to visit side door. The staff was nice, they didn't have Cash singles to provide my change but it's ok. The Philly steak sandwich was decent, a bit too salty. I will not order that again. It's convenient next to the village gondola. Happy hour is very limited: $1 off drinks and appetizers from 3-6pm

Google
Amazing local spot. Service at the bar is super friendly. Dog friendly, which is a huge plus. Albondigas meatballs are a must, easily the best thing on the menu. Perfect place to chill and decompress after a day on the runs.

Google
This place has a nice outside view and tables and chairs. Fondue was amazing but the cheese platter was very week. Italian dip is highly recommended and the chicken pesto crepe was also good. Here are a few pictures of the amazing food. Server was nice.

Yelp
Great quality food, fair prices, very friendly and attentive staff, quiet and calm environment. I ordered a chicken pesto panini, absolutely delicious. I also ordered a latte, then ordered it again the following day. Very good.

Yelp
Ok. First ordering is a pain. It's like ordering from Subway. And if you want the good wine by the bottle you have to buy that in a different area at the bar! You would think they would have enough sense to order the good wine with the food at ONE PLACE! There is no table service yet they expect tips. I even needed to figure out where to get water and my son asked twice for plates and serving utensils!! Now to the food. The charcuterie and cheese plate is the cheapest pieces on a cheese plate EVER! Only a few pieces of paper thin slices of salami and prosciutto and salami. Hardly any cheese. Even the apple slices look like they come from a kids pack! The baked Brie and jam is horrible. They actually microwave the Brie and jam together!!! The mushroom crustini was alright. The only thing that they brought out that was enough to eat and a value for the price was literally their olive plate. Oh, and there is no soap dispenser in the bathroom. Hope they get inspected on that one. Great wine list, mediocre service and food. Do not recommend this place for anyone who actually knows what a charcuterie board is supposed to look like. This is not a comfortable sit down wine bar with any type of good service. Beware! The owner responded. You know it's a bad restaurant when the owner spends most of her time defending bad service mediocre food. Why doesn't she just fix it instead. And yes, I know 'Casual Dining'.

Yelp
Avoid. Terrible service for dinner. You walk in and there's no host. No one greets you. You find a table. What's the service model? Where are the menus? How do you order? There is a single bartender for a full restaurant. I stood at the bar for 10 minutes and no one acknowledged me. Seems like it is meant for locals and they are uninterested in being welcoming to anyone else.

Yelp
Decent latte in the village for a reasonable price. The cinnamon roll crepe with strawberries hit the spot. They were really dog friendly and have a great outdoor patio. Hope to come back for tapas!

Yelp
I am surprised to see such a low rating, this place is great! The coffee is delicious (we recommend the latte), the hummus trio was superb (the veggies fresh and hummus so tasty), the chicken pesto panini and steak sandwich are our absolute favs, and each staff member is super friendly. Our orders are always made fresh and prepared on time. My favorite little "extra" is that they prepare your drink for you once you've arrived to pick up your order which ensures freshness (if ordered online). Plus, the inside is super cozy and welcoming (and very clean), especially when coming in from the cold. We highly recommend this gem.

Yelp
We were able to sit at the bar and try a couple of their wines, which were very good. My husband enjoyed his local lager. Ordered appetizer crostini (?) with tomato, cheese, basil and balsamic that was delicious!! Shared the spinach salad that had the most amazing strawberries, perfection avocado and other deliciousness. Finished with the beef stroganoff, which was excellent. Such fun people at the bar, friendly service and great food. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Weirdest "restaurant" slash "wine bar" I have ever encountered. Do you love ordering food from a cashier who knows almost nothing about the food and absolutely nothing about the wine? This place might be for you because almost everything is self serve and you are expected to tip anyway! Ordering your dinner for your family from a cashier, especially ordering fondue is extremely weird. Then you are asked to leave a tip immediately at the point of sale. Tip? For what? For a staff who doesn't bring any place set ups? And they were not sitting out for us to take ourselves btw. We sat down and wondered how we get drinks now? We were told to walk into an adjoining bar to order. So now I'm going to a 2nd location to order a drink. I didn't realize this was basically a glamorized food court. We asked about the wine and were told everything is good. Sure. We are then told wine guy can only pour wine and bar guy can only make drinks. Why is everything so compartmentalized here?!? Long wait while two different drinks are poured. I bring them back to my table and still expected to tip. How is this service? Soon the table filled up with food and no one checks if we need anything. Obviously we are expected to go ask for something, I guess? Like napkins, forks, plates?!? Later, our table is a mess and dessert is now arriving. A bunch of waitstaff guys discuss in a different language the conundrum of what to do when there is a pile of dirty dishes and no room to put deserts down. It was laughable.Has no one been trained to clear tables here? So now let's talk about the food: The cheese fondue was good, and ample portions. The beef stroganoff was actually delicious. The chocolate fondue cannot be called fondue. That was actually chocolate fudge sauce that one would put on a hot fudge sundae, but this was put in a bowl over a burner. In fact I would bet money it was Ghirardelli chocolate fudge sauce. Did it taste good? Yes. Is that real melted chocolate? NO. This poor place is clearly having an identity crisis wanting to serve French food and nice wines but with terrible systems and zero training on the waitstaff. We probably won't come back if we are looking for an actual restaurant experience.

Yelp
This is a walk up and order restaurant. Lunch begins at noon. You're definitely charged for the convenience of this location; however very mediocre food and service. Cobb salad came with the wrong dressing and no blue cheese. Cmon, not very high expectations for a soup and salad. On top of that, the food runner did not stop by again to ask if we needed anything else so we went without creamer and extra sides. Also ordered a panini sandwich, which took over half hour. Everyone else at the table finished their meal before I even received my food. When I finally received my meal, the food runner left my food at the other side of the table and didn't bring any silverware. The panini was advertised to come with aioli, and instead it came with mayo. Honestly, would've preferred Starbucks.

Yelp
Cute wine bar and cafe right in the Village by Gomez Mexican place. Cute interior and nice heated patio. Wines by the glass and bottle. They have happy hour 3-5 - $2 off wines by the glass and appetizers. Prices have definitely gone up a bit from when we came a few years ago, but still great, cozy place to e Joy a glass of wine.

Yelp
We got a quick breakfast this morning. Avocado Toast was good. Whole wheat bread ( 2 slices) with avocado, tomatoes, lemon pepper and mixed greens. Pretty tasty. My husband got a ham and Swiss cheese croissant. It was good. The location is great, right on the main plaza area in the Village at Mammoth. We sat outside, so it was a good place to people watch. The service was fine, just deliver to your table.

Yelp
Great spot in the heart of the Mammoth Village for espresso and breakfast. Service was excellent...friendly, attentive and helpful. Loved their latte (awesome strong delicious coffee) and enjoyed their eggs as well as their breakfast burritos. The location is great, right on the main plaza area in the Village at Mammoth. So good, we will return again soon. Worth a visit!

Yelp
Such a cute little spot in the village. They make the best mochas here!! The service is pretty fast and the food is decent for what it is. I love coming here to escape the cold and they have perfect spaces for eating, playing games, or getting a drink.

Yelp
Cute ambiance, very French! Great wine selection and they have a full bar! Love that you can just walk in a without reservations and we are usually lucky to find a few seats on a busy weekend. We have tried the tuna wonton taco appetizer, burrito bruschetta, sliders and crepes. Everything tasted great! Todays breakfast after skiing: breakfast burrito and Nutella crepe. Yum!

Jenifer J.

Yelp
Love this place and the owner Ryan is a gem! Great atmosphere, staff is friendly and the crepes are delicious! Highly recommend if you are visiting Mammoth!

Yelp
This place was great, hit the spot for a pasta dish at lunch. Right when we got in, the waitress gave us our menus and was really sweet. The place was very cozy and warm. I ordered the pesto pasta and my kiddo got the turkey melt. It was soooooo good! We also had the Nutellaaaaa crepe, and it was the best! The food was fresh and hot and great service. Friendly, funny & helpful. I really hope this place stays in business for a long time.

Yelp
Food is not good. Service is ok. We were there to celebrate our son's birthday. We ordered a bunch of food. The waitress gave us a funny look as if she couldn't believe it. It wasn't busy so our food came out relatively quick. The good was terrible. Steamed mussels were super salty and chewy. The sliders tasted like a burger you get from the cafeteria in elementary school. The toast with mushroom spread was tasteless. Need I say more? The food was a real disappointment. The wine was excellent. If there is a next time we will just do the wine and a cheese platter. Sorry guys the food needs improvement.

Yelp
Stumbled across this place while walking around the village. Walked ln and the sweetest bald guy (Joey!! After knowing him) had such good energy and we came and sat at his bar, he made the best espresso martinis with great conversation!! He's a funny one, wonderful people and great vibes... I recommend coming in and getting some drinks or fondu!!! Thanks for a wonderful time!

Yelp
Staff was extremely friendly when I came to pickup. Ordered pesto chicken, it was underwhelming. The pesto was weird, it was more like spinach. Barely any garlic in there or cheese. Something was off, but since we come to Mammoth a couple times a year I will give this place another shot and try something else... kinda have no choice with the lack of options.
google avatar

Yelp
Went in with hopes of having a quick coffee pick up after checking out the Rye and Rock Whiskey festival. This Bar & Cafe is located in the village, making the location top-notch. However, that was the only positive thing from the experience here. My friends and I waited in line for a solid 30 mins if not more (yes it was a long weekend, but the place wasn't full and it was 3 or 4 PM which isn't peak time, so didn't expect SO much wait for a quick coffee pickup). While waiting in line, I also noticed all the customers behind me left out of impatience. And I should have followed suit, because the mocha and latte that we had ordered were probably the worst I have ever had. I hope whenever I come here, I have a better experience.

Yelp
Food was amazing, and staff suggestion great, go for some quality drinks and food. Small place but Best in the Village. A return few nights later and Brian the bartender continued his magic, custom cocktails after asking what we normally like. SO GOOD. Don't miss this place. Thumbs up Brian, Kat, Georgia, and the amazing flavors of Blanca.

Yelp
Great find in Mammoth hotel zone. You can bring in wine or choose from their nice selection. Bomb cheese and meat platter. Helpful front staff. Rear bar if you're alone. Indoor and outdoor dining.

Todd C.

Yelp
Excellent Avocado Toast and eggs and Bloody Marys. I get so confused reading the reviews for Side Door that denigrate "the waitress." When a Carl's Jr employee brings your food to the table, do you think she's a waitress?
google avatar

Yelp
Hubby and I came here for breakfast, as the other coffee shop in the Village had a very long line! We ordered the French toast with a side of eggs, and 2 coffees. Can't believe the quality of the food/presentation. The worse French toast i've ever had in my life!! I wish i had taken it back, and cut my losses, but we were hungry, so ate it. It was soggy bread - nothing appealing about it. French toast is supposed to be browned and have a toasted look, this was the total opposite of that. The scrambled eggs looked very unappealing - wish I had taken photo's of it all. The total with a tip was $31!! Daylight robbery. My tip to you all.....stay away from ordering breakfast! Maybe we just chose the wrong things on the menu, and its better for lunch/dinner?? I guess we'll never know, as we're never going back there again. Update...we came on Sunday 25th February....and yes, i normally would have said something, but we didn't want to cause a fuss as we were hungry!

Haris B.

Yelp
Excellent food. Recommended breakfast, the crepes, hot cocoas, and bacon and eggs was delicious "yum yum good!"

Madelynn H.

Yelp
Seriously the best coffee in mammoth!!!!!! The vibe here is great and Liz is awesome :)

Yelp
I was a client of side door in 2022 but now I want to speak as an employee. I came to mammoth from Argentina to do the work and travel between December and March. I started working at side door two months ago and it was one of the best experiences I had. It is a place that is known for its good food, coffee and wine, but most of all for the people who work there. From the first day they made me feel comfortable and even when I quit for personal reasons they were very kind to me. I take the best memories with me, thank you

Yelp
Friday night coffee, tea, & dessert cravings led us here. After walking around The Village for a spot that had indoor seating / heated outdoor, we found this! They sat us at the covered outdoor seating with heaters. It was perfect for this bone chilling weather. Couldn't really review entrees since we just got some dessert crepes & hot beverages. But the crepes were good, drinks were made well. They have milk substitutes. Staff were really friendly & service was great!
google avatar

Dan T.

Yelp
This is our second visit. The wine selections and prices are great, especially for a resort setting. The food is very good and the people are really nice. We had great service and an enjoyable lunch. We are definitely coming back on our next trip to Mammoth. Thank you Brian and crew!

A D.

Yelp
The service was the worse experience ever! The cashier and waitress were so rude! I wasn't even talking to the cashier, was talking to my husband, and she said "I'm busy, I can't hear you, go talk to the other waitresses, and I'll get to your order in a minute, I'm busy." I was appalled. We should've left, but We ordered 2 crepes, and then I asked where the restroom was to a waitress with long hair and a nose ring, and she flicked her finger to the direction and said "fuck off" under her breath. And when I looked at her, she said "oh nothing." Don't go here! It's definitely not worth it. I have never experienced this kind of rudeness! Worst ever!!

Kelly D.

Yelp
Easy for pickups but not so friendly staff and hours are never consistent. They are very small and wait time can be crazy. Fondue is meh but breakfast is good.

Hana W.

Yelp
Food and prices were great, and the atmosphere was warm and trendy. I very rarely review restaurants, but I had to for this one because I was extremely offended by two of the employees who worked here. The bald guy accused my friend of ripping them off when she asked for a refund (before the drinks came out), and then another employee rudely came to our table trying to "catch us in the act" of sharing drinks, but then apologized when he realized that we weren't... I also witnessed the bald guy saying demeaning things to the cooks in the back, including, and I quote: "that's why I work up here and not back there". He later apologized to one of the members in our group and comped one of our meals, but overall we will NOT be coming back here, despite enjoying the food and responsible prices. To clarify, the servers were fine-- it was just the hosts up front.

Alex K.

Yelp
Cute little cafe we stumbled upon looking for breakfast in the village. Also it was one of the only place that happened to be open early compared to the other restaurant which seemed to be open around noon. Menu was basic, you have your traditional breakfast dish and smaller to go option like pastries and croissants. We did dine in versus to go. You order at the counter and a number is given and seat yourself. Heads up, there's no change from register as informed. Assuming covid safety as a precaution. There's seating inside as well as along the side and front of the place the looks over to the village. After sitting down, we notice some of the other patron were enjoying some mimosas. Went up to order a glass but found out about the bottomless mimosas, scored. A small carafe or orange juice and a bottle of champagne was brought out. Every so often someone would walk by to check on you to see if another bottle was needed. Food did the trick accompanied with the mimosas. The staff that brought out the food and drinks were very friendly and sweet. Checking up to see if we needed anything else.

Yelp
On a very busy day in the Village, we really needed to feed our little guy. The wait at Gomez's was an hour and a half while the new Italian place across the way, was fully committed. On a whim, I walked our little guy inside this cute wine bar and talked to the very nice woman at the front. Turns out that we could get seated immediately as their business model is one where you order at the counter and then sit down...there was lots of seating so this was a done deal. Here's the highlights of our dinner at Side Door Wine Bar and Cafe: ***Lots of Seating: This meant that there were lots of tables to choose from and we were able to score a table off in the corner that was right beyond a giant dog that laid on the floor. That big fluffy thing provided visual entertainment as we waited for our food. ***Interesting and fun food: They had fondue and while I don't need to eat a bunch of cheese for dinner it sure is enjoyable. And the restaurant was only too happy to bring a second round of steamed broccoli so I felt extra healthy in my cheese submersion. ***Full Bar: While this is a wine bar, you are not just limited to wine. They have a full bar should you need to warm yourself up with an old fashioned, like I did;) ***Service: We were so impressed with the service. The woman that helped us came back to check on us and even ordered/brought another round of drinks for us so we didn't have to get up. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
THE BEST VANILLA CHAI LATTE I've ever heard. It's so good that we talk about it between our trips to Mammoth. Breakfast is good too. I really like their burritos and Rosemary potatoes.
google avatar

Yelp
Not pictured is the lemon crepe. Great little spot to grab a drink and a bite while you rest your feet from hikes.

Yelp
Side Door has found my kryptonite: $15 bottomless mimosas. My girl friend and I spent the afternoon at the Side Door Wine Bar & Cafe while the rest of our group hit the slopes for their final day of skiing. Since it was a bluebird day, we took advantage of the great weather and sat on their patio. This is the perfect spot for people watching since you're right next to the gondola. I was shocked to find out that a regular mimosa was priced at $10, while unlimited was $15. Since we're intelligent business women, we instantly made the upgrade. A server left us with a gigantic bottle of champagne for refills and we were easily entertained for the next two hours. To soak up the champagne I also ordered the Chicken Pesto Panini which was stuffed with chicken breast, goat cheese, tomato, and pesto. Plus, I couldn't pass on their delicious looking Chocolate Bundt Cake and ordered one for the road.

Yelp
Ordered the same meal twice and they simply wouldn't accept that they messed up when I asked why the second part of the order never arrived. Showed them proof of purchase but oh no kitchen closed just for me how special!! The above review was my first review but the owner personally reached out to me to really try and fix the situation. I greatly appreciate the effort by the owner to remedy the situation and will be giving this place a second shot hoping for the best.

Yelp
We had a very nice dinner at Side Door. We ordered the Black Forrest Ham and Swiss Gluten Free Crepe and the Cobb Salad, Albariño wine, espresso and a Gluten Free Cinnamon Roll Crepe. Everything was very fresh and tasted excellent. Their gluten free crepes are amazing- I think I need their recipe. Haven, the bartender and our server, was fantastic. She has so much energy and is a fun person, too. Thank you for a great dinner out in the Village. We will be back.

Yelp
Wife and I got food poisoning from here two days ago. We got a couple paninis. Brutal Very overpriced too Their mocha was pretty darn good though But cmon guys. Giving your customers food poisoning is pretty bad

Yelp
It was a super fun day yesterday at Sidedoor. Mammoth had a crazy blizzard storm, and the mountain was closed for the day, so what better to do than day drink at Sidedoor? It's such a cozy wine bar, with professional staff and friendly guests. I love this place and always feel very welcome.

Gh T.

Yelp
Wanted some coffee at 3 p.m. in the Village but the main coffee place had closed by 1 p.m. Saw that Side Door had coffee so went in. There was no pricing listed on the menu, and the staff at the counter said that a cappuccino was $4. It came in a small cup, just 2/3 full, and was the worst coffee ever - bitter with an aftertaste. I have had McDonald's and gas station coffee much cheaper, in 4x the size that tasted better. I don't know about the wine and food here, but cannot recommend the coffee here at all.

Lauren R.

Yelp
I ordered a blta panini which was overly toasted and smothered in mayonnaise so much so that you could not really taste anything other than the bread and mayo. The hummus came with some slices of celery and baby carrots. Most overpriced and disappointing meal so far. Service was slow considering no one else was in the restaurant. Ambiance could've been nice if they had some music going but overall wouldn't recommend this place for food.
google avatar

Darla O.

Yelp
Service is horrible. Small and crowded. Ordered wine by the glass, they gave me a bottle. Asked about what cheese comes on charcuterie board. The worker did not know and went to ask. I found him 20 min later talking to a fellow employee. He then told me that it comes as is. Again, I asked what kind of cheese as the menu notes "ask for varieties. Chef's choice." The third time he came back he kept telling me a soft cheese but still could not give me the name of cheeses. Then when I said ok we will just order it, he then told me I had to go to the counter to order.

Yelp
I would love to give this place 5 stars, mainly because of their outstanding customer service. But I'll give 4 because the food was not that impressive. Here's a summary: Our group of 10 people had a reservation for Petra's across the street at 5:45pm but it got rudely cancelled by their staff, so at 6ish pm, we were struggling trying to find a place last minute that would accommodate such a big group. Most restaurants estimated the wait time would be 1 to 1.5 hours. Eventually, we got to Side Door and we got sat right away on 2 round tables (1 table of 6 people and 1 table of 4 people). The staff was super nice. Eli (Elijah) was our server for the night and was very attentive, on top of everything and kept checking in on us to see if we wanted to order more food, drinks or if we needed anything else. We ordered a spinach artichoke dip for our table and it was warm and delicious! Eli even gave us a refill on the bread. The portion was very generous for all 6 of us. Most of us ordered a crepe. Some others got a panini and the cheese fondue (by the way I'd highly recommend that one! It's fun to share and if you like cheese in general, you won't be disappointed!). I had a Brie Crepe with Ham (you could also get this crepe with Turkey or Prosciutto) and I wasn't particularly blown away. It was huge and filling but I did not like that it had a lot of mayonnaise on top and the tomato slices were thick. Coming from France (and not to sound snobbish at all! Lol), I was expecting something different. Also got a glass of rose, which I really liked. And with a Yelp check in, we got a free glass of sangria. It was just okay, I wasn't a fan of the red wine they used to make it. We all wished we had enough room for dessert but at that point, we were full. Last, but not least: parking. As I mentioned earlier, the original plan was to go to Petra's. So we had actually parked our two cars in their lot. And then we walked to Side Door. Overall, we all had a really great experience, and that's thanks to the staff and Eli!!! Thank you Side Door!

Yelp
So , let's just say this place absolutely sucks..... I get it, it's located at the Village, and is a busy location. With that stated, there is no excuse for the slow service. On top of that the person at the register is completely lost and inept at his job. Not to mention the poop attitude of this individual and being extremely rude to us while taking our order. We ordered a few Irish coffees, and that too 40 mins to get. Terrible, absolutely will not come back to this this place again!

Yelp
The staff has been amazing, and the food and alcohol, great! Dog friendly. During our stay we came back a few times. We definitely recommend coming in. The crepes were amazing and the espresso martini delicious!

Yelp
So this was a nice little find. We met the owners and they were a really nice couple. Them and their staff are very knowledgeable about wine and gave us some strong tasty wine suggestions. We stopped in twice over the weekend and drank some really good wine. For being up in Mammoth they had a great selection of wine and their food was really good as well. The store was nice inside as well as out in the patio. I look forward to my next visit.

Yelp
I appreciated that it felt like this place served EVERYTHING from small bites, large plates, wine, cocktails, hot boozy drinks (like mulled wine) as well as food. We shared a "chicken pesto panini" and although it was kinda pricey ($15 -- but then again, this place is right across from the gondola in the middle of the village, so I'm not surprised!) it was LARGE. I loved the hot, melty goat cheese. I ordered a cup of the gluhwein too, which warmed my soul. It was still 100% outdoor seating when we visited which was fine because there's a covered area to sit as well as heat lamps. Very dog friendly. I loved seeing all the pups. I think Side Door a great casual place to pop in and either grab something to go at anytime, to fuel up with food and drinks before hitting the mountain, or to refuel and grab an apres ski drink and bite to eat after a day on the mountain.
