"A new brunch in Downtown Las Vegas promises Caribbean dishes every Saturday and Sunday. Sidebar, the lounge next to Triple George Grill at the Downtown Grand, kicks off the nyam brunch, an ode to Jamaican dishes and a nod to chef Rhori Kow’s heritage. Featured choices include jerk fried chicken and waffles, lemon ricotta soufflé pancakes, and a crab Creole cake egg Bennie. Other dishes span a curry chicken roti, plantain with roasted red pepper coulis, a hasherole with Gruyere and mozzarella cheese, and patties in oxtail or curry chicken with a scallion cream sauce. No brunch in Las Vegas is complete with an over-the-top cocktail, and Sidebar has a $50 bloody Mary decked out with cocktail shrimp, a bacon-wrapped scallop, poached lobster tail, octopus, jerk chicken, cornbread waffle, and heirloom cherry tomato. Deejays play a mix of Caribbean sounds ranging from ska and reggae to riddim and tropical house straying at 11 a.m. Brunch launches on February 29 and runs every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m." - Susan Stapleton

Used to be a good place to have a drink and a bite to eat until the new management stepped in and changed the hospitality. Bartender complain about the low traffic yet they only comp a "well drink" if you're playing their machines and they've changed their menu to a not so "patron friendly" menu. I personally won't be going here anymore. I'd rather sit next door at a place where the mood is hospitable even if it's owned by the same corporate machine.

Chef Rhori has created a menu from his soul. You can taste the love in every bite. Will definitely come back again

Jerry is one of the best, if not the best bartender for classic cocktails. For gin fans, order an aviation.
