Had the brussel sprouts - absolutely delicious, maybe just a little salty but that didn't stop me! Very cool bar set up, loved the view of the sunset from the rooftop - absolutely stunning. The live music was a huge bonus!

The "Sidecar" hosted our Wedding & Reception! We had the most wonderful experience! The Venue is Classy, Inviting and Unique - Just what we wanted! The food was fantastic! Ben was great to work with and his staff is Top Notch!!! They took great care to make sure our guests were well taken care of. We had a blast, Great music & Dancing, Food & Beverage, Family & Friends...a night of wonderful memories made!! We would Highly recommend the "Sidecar" in Gorham Maine for your next function!! I've been here about 3 times and have been getting the same drink everytime! I love this local bar, it's close by to my work so when I get out I can grab a few drinks. I have run into numerous events when I didn't mean to, which meant ordering at the bar but I didn't mind it! Overall friendly staff and nice service! Definitely my new favorite bar.

Always good food, great atmosphere and vibe, drinks are hit or miss depending on who is making them (have had a few experiences with extremely strong drinks that are hard to get down), and the live entertainment is a huge drawn-in. Unfortunately, after the last few times I’ve gone, i found that all the good qualities are largely overshadowed by the fact that the service is absolutely lacking. Trying to get the attention of anyone is nearly impossible. Nobody will even make eye contact with you… whether you’ve been standing at the bar for 10-15 minutes waiting to get the attention of someone to order a drink, or sitting at a table for 30 minutes for someone to even come over. I don’t know how many times someone walked by and I tried to get their attention by flagging them down or making eye contact. I’ve worked in the food industry, and I understand it can be be busy and working with the public has its challenges - I totally get it. But if you want to draw in customers and drum up business, especially on event nights, I’d say it’s pretty important to acknowledge the customers. Pretty disappointed because I really liked this place. Don’t see myself coming back here for a long while unfortunately.

I love going to Sidecar! It’s great for happy hour and drinks — and the vibe is super fun when the live music is going! When the service is good, it’s FANTASTIC — my favorite bar tender is there! But when they’re super slammed, ya just gotta expect a bit slower service. So it’s alright. Not enough of a problem to deter us from coming — everyone is super friendly! And the drinks are great. I haven’t had a ton of the food dishes, when I have it’s not bad! Decent selection. Worth the trip if you’re local and love live music!!

The bartenders are exceptional, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend this establishment!

Went to Sidecar tonight to hear Chase Jobe sing. Unfortunately, this was the most unwelcoming experience I’ve ever had at a bar. There was nowhere to sit, so my group and I waited patiently near the bar to order drinks. We couldn’t even get eye contact. I decided to use this time to show my friend around who had never been here. We were on our way upstairs when we noticed a reserved sign, so we stopped and asked people in the party group if it was okay for us to go up and look around. They said yes, however one of the bartenders rushed over to inform us that “it’s reserved, you can’t be up there” with quite an attitude. So, we can pay attention when I’m going upstairs, but not when I’m trying to order food and drinks? We left immediately after this interaction and will not be returning. This would be an awesome bar if only the service wasn’t so disorganized and distracted.

1st timer. Staff were ALL great and very personable! While the food was tasty, our complaint is with the food temperature. Everything was barely luke warm. We had wings, onion rings and the meatballs. The sauce for the meatballs wasn’t good. The atmosphere is great but we felt it is best suited for drinks only.

First time here and on a Tuesday night. It's open mic/band night. This place is unique and a cool place to unwind after a day of work. A wide variety of bourbons, whiskeys, and a full bar. Getting great service and getting the low down to come back. There's entertainment every night they are open. Sidecar is open Tuesday through Saturday. You can go upstairs and outside if you want. It has a lighthouse feel to it.

Very unique place to hang with friends in downtown Gorham. The bartenders are well versed in their offers and helping you make choices not only drink but which brand. Need some food, sure thing tapas menu full of finger food and sandwiches; something for everyone. Take a walk up the stairs over the bar out onto a 360 degree deck. You can sit and have a drink or just look about. Local bands play music to help soothe the soul.

One of my favorites in Gorham. You take the elevator to the 4th floor and get this cute little bar. You can go up the stairs and sit outside and see the sunset! They have live music most days they are open. We love both bar tenders and always get great service. They have a huge selection of whiskeys and bourbons and always getting new ones in. They also have lots of wine options. They now have food, mostly bar food but still great! I come her often and will continue to come!

First time here, never knew it existed!! Great location! Great vibe! Saw a post on FB that today they were serving brunch. Staff was warm, inviting and friendly! Today was day one of brunch and they have some Kinks to work out but I feel this could be a success! I ordered their avocado toast, constructive criticism from someone who loves avocado toast. Mash the avocado and spread on toast. Then top with the egg. Putting the sliced avocado on top of the egg makes for poor presentation. Smashing the avocado allows you to season it spread it on the toast then you can top that with diced tomato or an egg. Taste was great though. Peach mimosa was on point! I look forward to going back for drinks and snacks some evening! Again, wonderful establishment just some minor adjustments and you guys are well on your way!!

My husband and I visited last night for the first time, what an amazing place! We took a stroll up stairs to check out the deck and views of the city, I'm sure this is spectacular when the weather is warmer. There was a great musician singing and playing guitar, the music was just the right volume to still have conversations at our table. Our server Lily was terrific, very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I ordered the King Pin pizza and my husband got the Junction Burger, we were both very happy with our meals. We will definitely be back, especially since Lily told us they have live music every night!

This is my second time coming here. First week it opened enjoyed 2 cocktails with my wife, all was awesome. Went with another couple this past Friday, Andi Fawcett was playing music at 7pm , love her! We arrived at like 530 for food and drinks. Started with Charcuterie board, bruschetta,shrimp cocktail,after we had drinks and first round of food, we ordered stuffed mushrooms, olives, and nuts. Had plenty of AWESOME FOOD, AND DRINKS! Service was good between Lauren and Meg. Very good atmosphere, and the chef was Tyler , EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! Nice added place needed in Gorham Thanks

$20 after tip for a glass of bullet burbon. Why?? Seems expensive for a whiskey i can get a whole bottle of for $20

This was a fantastic place! Great food, great service, great ambience all combined with really good music during open mic. Server even remembered us when we returned!!

I have a new favorite hangout!!! LOVED the decor and vibe of this bar. There was live music but it was still quiet enough to converse. Can't wait to go back!

Great atmosphere for all ages. Our bartender was phenomenal and the drinks are very unique. Worth the trip!

I just wish they would increase their menu options. The current menus is so limited and boring. I love the atmosphere and the live music is awesome though. But because of the limited menu I don't go as often as I would like to.
