"Sidewall Pizza now has six locations, but the original is housed in a former tire shop on TR’s Main Street. Find thin crust pies like the basil pesto Greenville Goddess along with a new flavor of housemade ice cream each day." - Parker Milner

My date and I tried this place for the first time. We're real hesitant on pizza places. I got to say, the bread sticks with the marinara sauce along with the BBQ Chicken pizza, was out of this world. The pizza had a fruity tasting sauce. Outstanding. We will definitely be back the next time in town. Great job!!

Google
Indoor and outdoor seating, ice cold air conditioning. Pizza was delicious, service is friendly. Clean environment, large windows let in natural light. Salad was good , we got several salads and they were large portions and plenty of fun ingredients , not just an iceberg lettuce. I suggest to order dressing on the side . Ranch was sweet and weird and my mom didn't really like it . My salad was dry and needed lots more dressing . My friend had the summer salad and loved it .

Google
My wife and I have always loved this place. I went by tonight and accidentally ordered two pizzas but meant to order only one (totally my fault). Not only did they not charge me for the second pizza but they brought me a beer on the house. Wendy was amazing and so kind. Sidewall is a staple in Travelers Rest because they combine excellent food with excellent service. I couldn’t recommend a place more.

Google
Loud, crowded, and aluminum plates. But so good and delicious! Fresh tomatoes sauce, rich salads, and incredible cheesecake. Great service. All good for that money.

Mike Bickers

Google
They have the best pizza we've ever had. My wife has celiac and a dairy allergy and their gluten free pizza crust is better and fluffier than any pizza we've ever had anywhere including regular pizza crusts. In the gluten-free breadsticks are also amazing. The gluten-free crust on both are so fluffy and tender. They're wonderful.

Google
The best pizza in the Upstate and beyond. Great people, fresh ingredients carefully prepared and a comfortable ambience. Pride of ownership shows throughout. Highly recommend that you try it and keep coming back. The Stuffed Spinach Pizza is freakin' awesome as was our server Henry!

Google
Amazing food at a great price and worth the drive. Open air style so a little warm in the summer but easy to manage with an ice tea. We had the spicy sausage pizza, arugula salad which is amazing, and those delicious cinnamon sugar dough bites.

Google
You're gonna be taking some home! I've had a lot of chicken bacon ranch pizzas in my time and I gotta say that this is up there in the top 2 I've ever had. The portions are generous, the crispy crust, flavors, and hand tossed dough make this THE pizza place in town. Service is great as well with great outside seating. Stop in for a pie, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
The best margarita pizza I've tried in years. Hawaiian was also great. Overall, a nice and spacious pizza place with reasonable prices and quick service. Our waiter Harrison was awesome!

Lauren S.

Yelp
Pretty good. I think we need to try different things on the menu next time. The gluten free crusts look really good when I see them-- thicker deep dish type. The wedge salad was super good-- the best I've had! Not usually a wedge salad girl, but everyone raved about it. It was delicious!!! I'm craving it now. The breadsticks were just okay. No garlic, seasoning, cheese etc, and very soft. So a bit flavorless to me. Some love that texture. I like a little more crispy and garlic, like garlic knots. Pepperoni pizza was decent. The guys liked it but nothing over the top. Bbq chicken pizza was good. The bbq sauce on it was a bit too sweet for us. The spicy sauce was good. We got it on the side due to child. It was pretty good for the most part but I'd try another pizza type next time. Ordered a cider and was good. Outside covered seating was nice. Good breeze. It was super busy but I called ahead and they had my name down and sat us right away even w many waiting- score! Service wasn't the best due to being overly busy and short two servers-- so grace for them. The salads all looked good! They have many vegan options too for pizza and desserts.

Elle M.

Yelp
The pizza and salads are wonderful! You can't go wrong with pappadew peppers, caramelized onion, and roasted pineapple. My favorite!

Melinda O.

Yelp
It was our first time here. The food and service were incredible. I haven't raved about a pizza in a very long time!

Jeremy H.

Yelp
As someone who has been coming to sidewall for several years, it's unequivocally the best pizza shop in the upstate. Everything is always consistently good and do not sleep on their seasonal pizzas (peach, pear, potato, etc.). If you're thinking appetizers, the breadsticks are great; they're massive and a classic if there were one. The spinach and artichoke dip is incredible and absolutely worth the price. I definitely find myself going out of my way to visit sidewall whenever I'm in town. This visit we got the acclaimed(?) seasonal pear pizza, subbing out the blue cheese for fresh mozz instead. New pizza to 2023, but definitely not new to us. It's become a regular. The honey drizzle on top of the pizza is a nice touch *chefs kiss* and wish it had more honey. I will say that you can't go wrong with most any of their pizzas. You also have the option to build your own pizza if you're into that. I attached several photos of various pizzas as this Yelp page was lacking photo wise. The ice cream is really good, homemade and the flavors are on a rotating basis so grab some during your visit if you like the current flavor. The only occasional downside are their hours. Be sure to check their Instagram before heading out as they seem to close sporadically for events, weather, etc.

Yelp
Just awesome Pizza. It's a bit pricey but likely the best pizza I've had in the south. High quality ingredients and perfect crust (thin). 5 stars

Christian W.

Yelp
Best of both worlds here. We wanted to try a new pizza and couldn't decide so we did 50/50 (needs to be of the same sauce to do this) potato and pear pizza and it did not disappoint! The blue cheese hit different and I think this is our new favorite pizza from here. Service is quick and friendly as usual. Inside and outside seating has nice vibes. Pizza prices are on the higher end just as a heads up incase ur gonna bring a big group here.

Yelp
This was my birthday pizza from Sidewall. Definitely make sure that you sign up for their birthday club, cuz it's totally worth it! We shared an apple salad and the pizza, and the flavors of both were balanced perfectly. The vegetable pizza changes seasonally, and right now you can get a delicious garlic sauce, blue cheese, squash, and shaved brussel sprouts. It was so good that I ordered another one from the Cleveland Street location the next week! Healthy, clean food.

Larry P.

Yelp
We started with the House salad and it was really good! Just the perfect amount of dressing and spring mix very fresh and cold. I ordered the Meatball pizza with added mushrooms. The crust was good but very little sauce and seasoning. The meatballs tasted like frozen meatballs you buy at the grocery store. My girl ordered a Gluten Free crust pizza with olive oil that looked like 2" Focaccia Bread topped with a pound of Arugula. This pizza was awful! The decor was like an abandoned warehouse of tables and chairs. One positive was our waiter was attentive and kind. Bottom line is another disappointment in Travelers Rest culinary adventures.

Emily S.

Yelp
First time at sidewall and it was pretty good! We got the arugula and prosciutto pizza and it was good although it looks like they just piled the arugula on top. Our appetizer was the goat cheese and bruschetta which was I would recommend. The ranch and the vanilla crème soda seemed a little watered down but was overall okay. We sat outside and it was nice! Our server was really sweet and took great care of us. I'd like to come back and try another pizza!

Jennifer P.

Yelp
It is usually good but sometimes when getting takeout the crust is burnt from the downtown Greenville location. The Travelers Restaurant location was great most of the time over the years but recently got a pizza and it was lacking in cheese and other toppings. It was not a good pizza at all .

Jenna J.

Yelp
In Greenville for the weekend and was told by a local to try this pizza place. So glad we took the suggestion! Everything was delicious! We loved their all natural sodas. The root beer was very tasty! We went with another couple and went a little overboard and ordered 3 pizzas and an appetizer. We had PLENTY of leftovers. We all had a different favorite. Some of the best pepperoni pizza I think I've ever had! It had a little kick to it. The bacon pizza was very tasty, but glad I had the other options to offset to strong bacon/garlic flavor. The stuffed pizza was a nice change and the crust is SO good! The only thing I would've changed is having some kind of flavoring on the breadsticks. The workers were very friendly and attentive. The vibe was very chill and was an indoor/outdoor open garage doors facility. I would HIGHLY recommend this place if you are in the search for a pizza place in the area!

Michael W.

Yelp
Great pizza and atmosphere!! If you want good beer and great pizza, this is the place to go. Always hot, consistent and delicious!

Luisa H.

Yelp
Lunch with family. First time at the TR location. Usually go to downtown location. Food was delicious, as we expected. Service was wonderful. Will be back.

Crystal A.

Yelp
We are here visiting and exploring the TR. The downtown was hopping and so was Sidewall Pizza Company. If you want really good pizza, this is the place to go. The service was very friendly, welcoming and casually paced. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It was very comfortable even on a hot day. We ordered black cherry and vanilla sodas that come with free refills! The breadsticks are AMAZING. One suggestion - order with a side of garlic olive oil to take it up a notch. We ordered two pizzas. You can style these 1/2 and 1/2 with the same sauce base. This is a good way to accommodate everyone's preferences. We stuck to the basics with pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. The servings are large so we had leftovers for lunch the next day. We loved the vibe of Sidewall and can't wait to visit again. Thank you for the hospitality and great food!

Steve O.

Yelp
If you're in Traveler's Rest this is the place for pizza. Not the usual fare you would find at the neighborhood pizzeria. The Little Pepperoni is packed with small slices that pack a spicy kick. We also tried the Peachy Keen which didn't sound that appealing but was fantastic. A gourmet treat of peach slices, balsamic vinegarette, and feta cheese. A unique blend of sweet and sour. They also carry flavors of small batch specialty soda. The prices are reasonable, the service is spot on, and the food is tasty. The place fills up fast at dinnertime.

Anastasiia P.

Yelp
Tasty pizza, nice stuff ! Recommended ! Would come here again! 'Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmm mmmmm mmmm

User N.

Yelp
Really good pizza and service including a homemade gluten free crust. Good atmosphere indoor and out. A lot of variety on the menu as well.

Ashley H.

Yelp
Great spot for dinner and catching up with a friend! If the amber ale was good, the basil mint cider was amazing--and that's just one of the unique cider flavors to choose from. I'll definitely be back to try them all! We did garlic twists for our app and the red sauce was so good we just had to ask for an extra. Which came in handy, because I love extra sauce with my pizza, too. We went for the meatball pizza and were not disappointed! Another of my favorite Sidewall pizzas is the Arugula, but here's an inside tip--ask for a side of balsamic reduction to drizzle on top and voilà! You've got the perfect compliment to the bite of the arugula and saltiness of the prosciutto. You can thank me later!

Dunn F.

Yelp
Love this place! Pizza is top notch. Jamie is the best server ever. I'll give it five stars, though bartenders need to be more attentive to people who sit at the bar. The design of the bar makes bartenders focus on who is closest to where you make drinks. So, try to sit on that end or the middle.

Jevia Lyn R.

Yelp
I went to sidewall pizza today to get my free pizza for my birthday as usual 1 I had the Greenville goddess a strawberry salad and sweet tea It was super and the atmosphere and service was the same forward to going in between Thank You Jevia Lyn Robinson Greenville SC

Bryan K T.

Yelp
If you've been looking for a pizza place in the Greenville area but you need gluten and dairy free, look no further. It is delicious. Much better than you'll get from Mellow Mushroom. Highly recommend you try it for yourself.

Aaron G.

Yelp
Because of the way they treated me and my family during covid we stopped going there. Even though they got our order wrong most of the time we ordered food at least once a month sometimes more.

Mark J.

Yelp
The pizza and side dishes are good, but I personally feel that the pizza is a bit overpriced, but not so overpriced that it would make me stay away. No complaints about service, everyone there is great. A bit cramped inside but the outdoor seating is comfortable.

Nicolas G.

Yelp
Overpriced pizza that tastes worse than frozen. Service was passable. And it ambiance it ok.

Jessica T.

Yelp
Great pizza good ppl very clean and the ordering was beyond easy and the outside area was great to look around and enjoy the sights to see spending it with my famliy wish more restaurants were like sidewall Pizza Company. Thank you for everything you do.

Beatrix S.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying I do not like pizza and I have never really enjoyed it mostly due to my aversion to tomato/marinera sauce. We came to sidewall with a group and I played along and ordered. I will only eat pizza with white sauce or an olive oil/pesto base. This place has so many options for different types of pizzas from various bases to toppings its wild! I think they might have converted me into liking pizza bc everything we had there was top notch and delicious!

Marley M.

Yelp
Best pizza in gvl county! Henry was a great server, he made sure we had everything we need and was quick bringing everything out.

Dianne M.

Yelp
Ordered a pizza and went to pick it up. Was greeted by someone who checked to see if it was ready and never saw her again. Saw a couple come in and place their order and get it. Asked again and it had been sitting back in the kitchen. This is why we don't often order from Sidewall.

Chad B.

Yelp
They suck. Two servers working there tails off. Took forever to get our draft ciders filled an inch from the top. Noisy uneven uncomfortable chairs. The salad had 1.5 grape tomatoes, that's enough to make it plural. When the pizza finally arrived I didn't take time to see if all my toppings were there, I was too hungry. Not worth the wait or the money. And wash your front door. So many fingerprints it looked like stained glass.

Pate A.

Yelp
We had someone deliver this pizza and smoke salad to us. We were impressed with the food quality and will be sure to actually go to the dinning room and provide more info but I would definitely agree with the 4 star rating just based on the food.

Darren T.

Yelp
Always excellent. I usually get the Protein pizza and it is one of the Top 5 pizzas in the Greenville area.

Taylor S.

Yelp
This Sidewall location is amazing!!! I've been to the Greenville location several times to dine in/ get takeout but I love how cute and quaint this one is off the main strip. I was worried the food would be different but it was fantastic and on point with the Greenville location, if not better! Andy (our waiter) made the experience 12/10 - extremely attentive, helpful, and always pointed us in the right direction with food choices. A couple of our highlights were the Smoky Salad - the BEST dressing... I think it's a pesto vinaigrette and the toasted walnuts on top make it. Very unique and tasty salad that you must try. The homemade Root Beer - better than any soda around!!! & free refills is always a plus. The Stuffed Spinach Pizza was incredible and our party couldn't figure out how they made it but were so happy it's an option. It's not really a calzone, a lot more thin and still comes in normal pizza slices but still very filling!! If you're a carb lover like me and love garlic, butter, spices.... it's a no brainer. Love this spot, we will be back!

Melissa C.

Yelp
Delicious pizza and great salad selection. Glad we stopped during or bike ride. We got the Smokey salad and a margarita pizza with arugula added.

Karen M.

Yelp
Very expensive for pizza and salad and just really not tasty. Extremely noisy. Had a headache after exiting. This was a second try eating there. First was for take out. The reviews were good, so we tried it. Really wasn't impressed. DIL wanted to go 2nd time, so I took the family. We sat outside. Evidently, they were closing as we were trying to finish our meal.. I hate people sweeping under my feet. Ridiculous. There is no need to return.

Nicole G.

Yelp
We popped in at Sidewall tonight for the first time and overall we really enjoyed it! This pizza has the feel of a fast casual pizza place with the number of unusual toppings it offers and more upscale pizza feel, but it is, in fact, a sit down and be served or take out pizza joint. My favorite toppings were the roasted Brussel sprouts and butternut squash. YUM! The service was great and the staff was very friendly. They have seating indoors and outside, as well as at the bar. The tables are set up almost cafeteria style, so we were seated at a table with another family sitting at the other end. I ordered a starter salad - pear, cranberries, toasted nuts, and blue cheese over a bed of spinach with fig vinaigrette dressing - absolutely delicious. I'd give the salad alone 5 stars. The half size is about a normal size salad. The large is MASSIVE - I love salads, and it's more than I would attempt to eat on my own. The pizzas range in prize from $13 to almost $20, and if you choose a "create your own" pizza, each veggie or extra cheese topping is $1 and meat toppings are $2 on top of the $13 base charge. The pizzas are 14 inches, which I think is a bit of a strange choice. It's too big to eat alone (for me anyway), but not quite enough to split with someone. My daughters (ages 5-10) ate 4 pieces each (1/2 pizza), so I'd assume a full size person would put down a bit more. They do offer a gluten free crust that is made in house - it is the same price, just a 12 inch instead of a 14 inch. I really wanted to love it, but it was just okay - a little bit hard to chew. The toppings and variety of cheese I put on the pizza made it still very enjoyable, and I'm not saying I wouldn't order it again. But as far as gluten free crusts go, I've just had much better. If you are in TR and looking for a more specialized type pizza shop, be sure to stop in - it won't be cheap, but I think you will enjoy it! *Be sure to sign up online at their website and they will send you a free full size pizza on your birthday! I haven't cashed in on that yet, but I plan to do so ;-)

Tucker Do’s R.

Yelp
The pizza wasn't bad. Very floury crust. We got the protein pizza and there was very little sauce. The staff and manager were awesome!!!!! Very nice. If you want to see my whole review check out Tucker do's reviews on YouTube.

Rebekah G.

Yelp
Great pizza but ZERO ambiance. Zero. And as of 1/23 no pizza by the slice folks, even for lunch. $$$. PS Arugula Pizza is a fave.

George N.

Yelp
Fantastic Pizzas and really nice servers. We came once before and had the mushroom pizza, but today we got the Greenville Goddess and 2 Peach and Prosciutto pizzas. The appetizers are delicious too but not particularly big.

Emily F.

Yelp
The food was good and our server was great. It is pricey but nice for special occasions.

Todd H.

Yelp
Very yummy pizza! Sat outside and enjoyed the nicer weather yesterday. Get the stuffed pizza you will not regret it. Also the garlic bread twist for an appetizer.

Sue F.

Yelp
Sidewall is in the middle of downtown Travelers Rest in a building that feels like an old gas station. There is either inside seating with air conditioning and fans or outside seating on picnic tables. With the metal ceiling and concrete floor it makes for a loud atmosphere. The beer selection is craft made. The wine selection is young and varied. You can either choose a pizza from their menu or build your own. The table next to us ordered the bread sticks and they looked delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and was thorough in explaining the menu. Our pizza came out in about 12 minutes. The pizza was thin crust and delicious. The toppings seemed lacking and sparse. Not that we like our pizza loaded but I could barely find the spinach. The parking lot is small but there's plenty of parking in the surrounding area. I would definitely recommend this place for pizza lovers. We will be back for ice cream since we are too full.

Adam G.

Yelp
Some of best pizza I've ever had. Crust is thin and crispy, not thick doughy breading like other restaurants. Margarita pizza keeps me coming back!

Paula S.

Yelp
Their pizza is the best and they are always friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to dining there this summer.

Blake R.

Yelp
TR food crawl stop 2 - first impressions count. And as soon as you enter the door, this place smells like an old fart. Like a van full of retirees on a hot summer day. Like your little teenage brother's man cave. Like an old couch with a little too much lovin. Unclear why, but there it is. Is there truffle on the menu? Stilton somewhere that I missed? Anyway, smells aside - the menu is broad, the staff was friendly. The prices are a LITTLE high - quality pies, but these are $15-17 pies, especially given the super sparsely decorated interior. Something is just MISSING here. The bar feels like a back kitchen, the tables feel like a workshop. Maybe that's the vibe, I get it, but when it's $20 per pizza (not outrageous, I know!!), then at least give me a little mural on the wall. After first impressions, I wonder why in the world people rave about Sidewall, wherever it pops up. But it's obvious once you taste the pizza. The sauce - delicious. The crust - perfectly crisped and with a good chew. The toppings - awesome. Pepperoni, peppadew, etc etc. Come for the pizza, for sure. But be prepared to be let down by the experience and turned by the smell.

Kelly L.

Yelp
awesome pizza! salad was great also! loved the laid back environment! crust was one of the best ever

Melanie W.

Yelp
After a walk along the Swamp Rabbit trail, we headed over to Sidewall's for pizza. The place is super cool on the inside with tables inside and picnic tables outside. There was a short wait so we decided to order some drinks at the bar. While waiting, two seats came open at the bar so we decided to sit there. The bartender was very attentive and pleasant. We ordered a pizza to share: half Margarita and half Meatball. We also ordered two salads as well. Our salads came out quickly. I ordered the Greek salad and it was outstanding. Tons of Kalamata olives! The dressing was really tasty too. My friend ordered a salad and enjoyed hers too. The ranch dressing is smack your momma good! Lots of dill and amazing! The pizza came out and it was outstanding. We actually saved the ranch to dip our pizza crust in. We couldn't get enough! The pizza was cooked perfectly and flavorful. Sidewall's is amazing!

Peter G.

Yelp
I don't know why ppl in Greenville like this place. Their crust is like cardboard and their pizzas are just "meh".. I've lived in New England and New Jersey, so I know what good pizza tastes like, and this is not it!

Tiffany F.

Yelp
Sometimes you just want a "normal" pizza. Other than pepperoni, it's the new modern foodie pizzas. They're good, but sometimes you just want to order a traditional pizza

Bronwen F.

Yelp
I order the same thing every visit, it's just that good. The gf antipasto pizza (pesto base) is fantastic. One of the best gf pizza crusts I've had on 2 continents. Nicely charred veggies, just the right amount of cheese. I don't typically like pizza, but I love this!
