This theater was amazing! My mom and I saw David. It was unlike any show I have ever seen - extremly captivating! Also, the staff was amazing. They went above and beyond. Not only did they get us last minute tickets to a sold out show after someone canceled, but they were also very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend any one who has never been to a show at this theater to go! It is worth every penny.

My family and I loved watching David. The show kept my kids ages 8-18 immersed in the telling of the story. We would highly recommend. The theater was clean, nice staff, we will watch another show if we are ever back in Branson.

We saw David twice in 2025 (once in April and once in December). Both times, we were completely impressed with the entire experience. The staff are all incredibly friendly (including one security person who noticed we were trying to figure out where the animals entered the auditorium and he spent time explaining the process to us!). The parking is very easy to find and use, and the interior of the building is gorgeous and fully themed. But the show - my goodness, the SHOW! I have never seen a production with such incredible technical work, creativity (the lighting and stage design are unreal), and fabulous singing performances. It is very evident that everyone involved is passionate about this mission, and they do everything with excellence - which is a joy to see. Absolutely incredible experience - I would go see the David show a third time if I could!! Pro tip - to see everything, be close to a good restroom, and have quick access to the family room, sit in the upper levels. You will still be able to easily see EVERYTHING, plus you're closer to amenities and could leave if needed.

Fantastic facilities and production. We saw "David" and the performance was excellent. A 3 stage simultaneous performance with massive scenic set peices, LED and light show accompaniment, and 5 20-30 foot animatronic giants. 5/5, would recommend. Even on a night where they had to stop production for technical issues teice, it was impressive enough to earn my 5 star review

Where do I find the words to describe this amazing place! David was like no other, I felt so many emotions during this show. Everything was well organized for the large crowds. Bathrooms were massive and very clean. The snack lines went very fast. The gift shops were perfect (I bought a few things lol). So very happy we went. If you are in the area this is a must. Also, the panoramic screen was so cool.

Our experience at Sight & Sound Theatre in Branson was truly wonderful from start to finish! Getting tickets was super easy, and even when we needed to make a change to our reservation, the process was quick and smooth. The lady on the phone was so kind and helpful. Parking was simple, and the walk into the theatre wasn’t bad at all. We sat in row HH, and the view was fantastic- you can see the entire stage without feeling strained. Even my 2.5-year-old sat through the whole show, which says a lot! The show itself was incredibly entertaining, and the theatre (including the restrooms) was spotless. Every staff member we interacted with was kind and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Highly, highly recommend a visit to Sight & Sound if you’re in Branson!

This is a really beautiful venue for biblically based productions. I had a great time and loved the play named David. Sight & Sound Theatres does an amazing job with writing, designing, animal training, songs, set designs, lighting, costumes, everything!!!! Definitely worth the money. I strongly recommend seeing a show.

Pure magic. I have been to a lot of performances, but nothing compares. The actors/ singers are incredible, but that is just part of the magic. The theater uses a full 180° plus the aisle as the stage. The sets include a 3d holographic matrix to provide full immersion. The story was powerful and well delivered. Well worth the trip, and worth repeating!

We recently saw a production of "The Miracle of Christmas" at the Branson Site & Sound Theater. It is an impressive building and an equally impressive show. Amazing applies. The stage is enormous and incorporates the sides as well. Your best seats are mid-theatre to catch everything without having to squirm around in your seat as the scenes change. We were close and it worked well too. Our show included live animals both on stage and at times in the isles. There were numerous aerial scenes which were superbly executed. The lobby is equally spacious with the availability of snacks, gifts, and large, clean restrooms. We bought a 1 year pass to view all Site & Sound productions to date. They are streamable as many times as we wish within a year's time. Totally worth it! My description does not capture the beauty, production nor acting values we enjoyed so you'll need to trust me when I say it is spectacular and in my opinion equal to a Broadway production. Do yourselves a favor and go - I promise you won't regret it.

The Queen Esther show at the Sight and Sound Theatre in Branson Missouri was beyond our expectations. To be honest we were not sure what to expect because this was our first Sight and Sound Theatres production. I bought tickets to Queen Esther for my girlfriend and I as a surprise to her, however, we were both surprised by the incredible talent of the performers, the production crew, and the set designers. Driving up the driveway to the parking area is where the experience begins, as the massive and beautiful building comes to view. The parking attendants guide the traffic to two roomy parking areas with handicap-accessible spaces and easy walking paths to the incredible building entrance. At the front of the grand entrance showcases an impressive statue of a Lion laying with a Lamb. Entering the huge foyer you are welcomed with what appears to me to be a modern Middle Eastern-influenced design with statues, palm trees, inspiring artwork, and the sweet aroma of roasted almonds from the concession stand. Once you enter the theater everything looks to be expected for a building of that size. A large multi-level seating area that can accommodate more than 2,000 souls. However, after you are seated and the curtains part the unexpected left us with our jaws dropping open eyes wide, and heads turning to take in the state-of-the-art panoramic stage that wraps around the audience on three sides. The Persian King Ahasuerus Palace and city is the largest stage built by Sight and Sounds Theatre to date. Ahasuerus is evidently to be known as Xerxes and is referred to as King Xerxes in this production. The Palace section alone is approximately 70 feet wide, 41 feet deep, and 37 feet tall and this structure is only a small portion of the complete set. Throughout the presentation, the set moves and transforms to meet the needs to telling the story. If the stage itself doesn't blow you away the talented acting and singing along with live animals will. The cast and crew are phenomenal at their roles and draw you into the story with their voices, wardrobe, and set design details. You laugh, cry, and rejoice with them as they tell of Esther and those around her. I can't forget to include the delicious roasted almonds is so much better than popcorn and I love popcorn. There is so much more that we enjoyed about this experience, however, I do not want to ruin your own experiences of the many wonderful surprises of this production. This may have been our first time at the Sight and Sound Theater but this will definitely not be the last!

There is a lot of parking for this location with 2 separate exits. It can be a bit of walk from your car to the entrance. There is an added security screening before you are able to enter the building. You walk in to this amazing smell from the glazed nuts. Will call typically moves very quickly to pick up your tickets before a show. There is 3 concession areas on the first floor with food and merchandise. One of my favorite things about the show is the staging and costumes. I have been to both Lancaster and Branson and always enjoy the show. The seating is comfortable and the bathrooms are huge so the lines move quickly during the intermission. Enjoy the show!

What a beautiful play! The Bible is the truest book and Esther is such a staple character to read on when you need encouraged! The theatre in itself is stunning with much detail to design. We can't wait to go back and see other plays at S&S! ***Remember, there is only ONE God & Acts 2:38 is the only way to salvation!

We really enjoyed seeing the play, Esther, at the theatre! The production and acting is amazing! Very professionally orchestrated. I recommend sitting near the aisle so you can see the live animals and action coming in and off the stage. Not a bad seat in the theatre but if you can sit in the middle or back of the lower section, you can see the whole production better.

First rate, biblically inspired stores set to theatrical performances with excellent music and sets/props, live animals, etc. The theater is modern and comfortable. The service is outstanding. They have quick service dining with hot food options, gift shops items and convenience food, snack and drink items.

Broadway shows are my jam and I have been to many professional productions including shows not only in NYC but London and San Francisco. My friends and I had show passes for years and we would see a professional show each month that would travel to Reno's Pioneer center. All that being said , this location and show is unlike anything. I have EVER seen. The stage is massive , it is fully operational on three out of the four walls in the theater. There are birds flying over your head, horses in the isle and real camels and llamas walking by following a donkey or zebra. I am especially grateful because these productions depict the Bible so accurately and teach my kids without them even knowing. We had family from out of town and she was astounded at the production of Ester. It is magnificent. I especially love that we don't know any actors names. This isn't about fame. This is about glorification of God! We just saw the miracle of Christmas and loved it. The roasted almonds was the cherry on top of the whole experience

Oueen Esther is a fantastic production. The building is spectacular. I see this for other venues. Actors and customers were amazing. Delightful evening and show.. highly recommend.

This visit we saw Queen Esther. It was wonderful! We have also seen Moses and Samson. The production is phenomenal. I encourage everyone to see the productions at Sights & sounds. The stories are straight from the Bible. Come and enjoy!

My Mom invited my sister and I to see Queen Esther live at Sight & Sound, and we both agreed. Driving up to the facility, I was immediately impressed by the amazing architecture of the building. Sight and Sound runs a tight ship and the show starts on time! When the show began, I thought to myself, this has to be a million dollar production. Not each production individually, but everything that is used for all of the shows. The stage is like a semi-circle with people and props in all spaces. The show was amazing, and I have to highlight the usage of live animals, they acted their tails off. Award winning performances.

Best production! Brought me to tears of joy and hope. Praising the Lord for His clear intervention in the life of Esther.

The story is epic. The theatrics spectacular. The performers are truly talented. The music was beautiful. The words were extremely difficult to understand.

May 31, 2024 and 4 of us went to see "Queen Esther." Plenty of parking and beautiful building exterior. We sat on the lower right side of the stage and 1 of our 4 seats was an aisle seat. Great choices as we could easily see all the stage and there was quite a lot going on in the performance on the far right too. The stage sets are amazing. So neat to be so close to the animals as they came up and down the isles. Great lighting and acoustics. Powerful acting and reenactment. The show lasts about 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Great action, packed plays! Live animals walking around , birds flying!! I recommend setting about halfway back because it's usually has city scenes on your left and right and in front of you so if you're sitting in the front you have to look left and right and behind you to see all the action. Definitely recommend sight and sound.!!

First, the bad ..do NOT sit in sections 101 or 104 as you will be craning your neck to see!!! Do NOT sit clise to the dyage as it is also difficult to see. Now the good, the acoustics were terrific. I loved the theatrics and the costumes were Outstanding!!

This was definitely a highlight of our Branson trip. The Queen Esther performance we saw was incredible. The story, the set and the acting were awesome. I couldn't believe the set for this production was so huge and multi faceted. Cityscape went 3/4 of the way around the theater. Building opened and closed for different scenes along with coming up from below and down from above. You could see this show many times and get a different experience each time. My husband & I loved it and will come back to see other performances in the future. Bravo!

What an amazing experience we had! The venue is beautiful inside and out. There is plenty of parking and the check in process was smooth. The concessions were very reasonably priced and the coffee was delicious. We went to see Queen Esther and what a beautiful performance. The colors, the stage, the costumes, the whole show was amazing. We will definitely be back for another show when we are in Branson. I wish we had a Sight and Sound closer to home because it was wonderful. If you are visiting Branson, please go see a show. You will love it.

I'm just going to say it......I wish I could give this place 10 stars! Wife and I traveled to Branson from Wichita for a quick getaway. She planned the whole trip. I had no idea what to expect. We enjoy live theater and performing arts. So, I knew it would probably be an "OK" evening. The staff was very welcoming, engaging, and friendly. They acknowledged us at every encounter. Thank you! It's the little things. The theater is large. I was starting to anticipate the show, after reading the pamphlets and history of the company. The lights go down, and I was speechless. I won't give away the surprise, to save it for a new visitor. However, I was (still am) in awe of what this show (Queen Esther) became throughout the evening. That's really about all I can say about the evening. If you go, and don't have a great experience, I really can't understand why.

The show at 3:30 pm on July 19, 2024, was cancelled after the intermission, which I understand can happen. That is not the reason for this 1 star review. The reason for 1 star is because we were only given the option to either transfer the tickets to another date or receive a gift certificate as a means of refund. I have no idea when I'm going back to Branson. It's been over 25 years since I least went. I was not given the option for a refund which blows my mind. Even the airlines compensate you better when it's due to their failure to provide the service. way to go Sight and Sound, you're worse than the average airline.

My wife and I saw Queen Esther tonight and we really loved it. My daughter did musical theater growing up and I sent her and my wife to New York to see some shows. My wife says this production was on par with Broadway. I wouldn't know about that but I was truly in awe of the set, costumes, musical score, quality of sound, and the actors. If you are debating on whether or not to go, don't debate and longer. Just go. You will be glad you did. I believe it closes in October 2024 so you'd better hurry.

The stagecraft alone is fascinating and impressive! The actors and singers did a great job! It is almost hard to describe because it is spellbinding.

Amazing set. Amazing acting. Amazing story. If you are in the Brandon area, you must see what ever is playing here.

Excited! We have seen a few shows now from Sight and Sound! Moses, Joseph, Jesus and now Esther. The team does a wonderful job for a full experience. They stay as close to the line of scripture as possible for a drama and it makes you want to read the Scriptures yourself which only deepens the Truth of the Bible which is it is one great true redemption story of a Holy and Gracious God loves us.

Could be just my favorite place in the world! If you're looking for a quality broadway experience in Branson... grab your tickets now! I've attended several shows and none have disappointed. Esther was the last show we saw in person and it's beautiful and effervescent in color and production. There are no bad seats in the house, but section 201 has been our favorites..... you get that view that allows your neck/head to be relaxed while taking in everything in great detail. You want to be able to see all the aisles where the live actors and animals come in. I could go on all day. This place is my absolute fav. I have visited their other location in PA. as well. Grab some roasted almonds and sit back in the plush theatre seats.... Enjoy!!!!

I have loved the sight and sound performances. I've seen, Noah, Moses, Jesus and this time Esther. We were pretty bored with the Esther performance due to the fact that the entire thing was singing. It was more of a musical drama than a performance like the other ones we've seen. Just about Every word came out in a song. It was a good performance and they were good singers but it would have been so much better if they could have just talked and performed the story rather than sing the whole thing.

Just saw Esther. Amazing performance. I have bad hearing and must wear hearing aids. I heard most of the dialogue with no issues...singing parts, not so much. The wrap around stage was amazing. Definitely coming next season!

ENCORE!!!! Great!!!! Fantastic production!!!! Phenomenal !!! Awesome!!! Truly loved it! The cast did an excellent job on recreating what happened as written in the Bible. The props!!! The visual effects.I never knew why that piece of cloth was draped on the cross (Don't judge me) : ) There were doves released during the performance. Donkeys, horses, goats riding down the isles. A must see!!! A must to experience!! Everything that was not live was so life like. The message!! The acting!!! I was moved. I wanted to yell encore! I was truly BLESSED and highly FAVORED to attend this production. I received the message.

Yelp needs to add 5 more stars just for this place! I have seen a lot of shows but this theatre is incredible. We saw Queen Esther and my mind was blown. The effects and immersion in this theatre are jaw dropping. We have seen top notch Disney productions such as the Lion King and others and it's not even close to this. This was truly the #1 live production I have ever seen. We were so impressed that we will be returning to Branson to see the show every time it changes production. They should charge more per ticket...that's how great it is.

Wow, what a great show. This Christian themed experience was well performed and true to the biblical story. Performers were well cast and top-shelf. Huge (!) theatre and extraordinary staging surrounding audience on three sides. Well worth the price of admission. A a must See event.

WOW! We were truly blown away by the Jesus play!!! How they executed this show with such majesty and perfection is beyond anything you could imagine. I won't ruin the experience by telling you what I saw, but you will NOT be disappointed. The theater is one of perfection and if you want to see your favorite bible stories come to life, you MUST go! We live in Texas and will definitely be back to watch more of their plays.

Saw Queen Esther yesterday and it was worth coming to Branson just on its own merits. Broadway quality sound, best stage sets I've ever seen....the Persian town was actually front and on both sides of the audience. Really special experience

Wow what an experience! The Jesus production was amazing... they really brought the story to life. The production includes live animals and is just amazing! We sat on the second row on the left which made it alittle hard to see the left side. I would highly suggest getting seat on the second floor in the middle. Can't wait until the next time we are in Brunson and watch another production!

Phenomenal production!! We've been here before and enjoyed Jonah tremendously. But Esther was hands down the best as far as the set, costumes, music, performances, etc...We would highly recommend to all ages. Beautiful show!

My mom and I went to the Jesus production at the sights and sound theater last week, it's a beautiful venue. Every staff member I spoke with was so friendly and helpful. So for the show.....chefs kiss.....if your in Branson don't miss the Jesus production. It was amazing, heartwarming, beautiful and it will get right in the heart. The cast/props are a 10/10.

What an amazing experience! Everything, from the venue, staging, (which included the sets and the LED screen which wrapped the entire stage), and the acting and singing, was as good or better than anything you might experience in New York or Las Vegas. The story of Esther was told in a beautiful and engaging way. Outstanding!!!

My family went to see Esther last March this year. The production was very nice! It was great! Way more than we were expecting. The ticket price is very reasonable once we saw the expanse of the production. Will definitely return to sight and sound!

"Jesus" is the third S&S production we've seen in Branson. It, like the others, was worth the ticket price, especially if you're looking for something without a country or hillbilly tone. Productions here are well produced live dramas that appeal to the Christian faithful. They usually run over two hours but include 20-minute intermissions. The Broadway-style productions typically run seamlessly between scenes. However, like any live theater it's fun to see how the cast adjusts when the unexpected happens--like animals messing a stage. A variety of live animals is part of the cast. Kids of any age will enjoy birds flying, goats and sheep roaming, horses trotting, and camels strolling around the audience and onstage. We've sat on the main floor and upper level and found the room doesn't have a bad spot for hearing or seeing.

Wonderful place! The building is absolutely gorgeous! Lots of helpful staff and it smells amazing due to all the glazed pecans they make in there. We saw QUEEN ESTHER at the 3:30pm showing and it was absolutely amazing! Tips: 1) don't sit on the front row. I would sit back on the upper rows in the center because it's like a 180degree stage and you'll be able to see better. 2) arrive at least 45 minutes early to take pictures and get concessions and souvenirs before the show. At intermission it's so busy and you only have 20 minutes to do what u need and get back to your seat with everyone in there. They had almonds, nachos, hot dogs, cookies, etc. I think they even had coffee and bottled drinks and water. 3) I would also take a small wristlet or crossbody so you don't have to lug so much around lol. 4) for souvenirs they had a souvenir program of the show, DVDs, jewelry, soundtrack cds, tshirts, pens, bags, coffee mugs journals, devotional and lots more but that's I can remember. They have concessions and souvenirs on each side of the building.

Amazing mind blowing shows here! We watched the queen esther show. The seating was a bit crammed but it's great that we can take food inside and munch away while being amazed with the play visuals, live animals on stage and professional performances!

We saw Queen Esther on Friday night and found it to be just magical. The theater is incredible- being on three sides and the use of animals makes you feel you are a part of the show and the production was magical. We absolutely loved it!

I saw the play "Jesus" with my two sisters. We were all impressed with the beautiful grounds outside the Sight and Sound Theater. There was ample parking and the parking was very close to the theater. The staff at the entrance door and throughout the theater were very knowledgeable and courteous. The stage design had a combination of video and props. These two mediums worked well together in creating depth and authenticity to the various scenes. The theater smelled a bit like a barn because of the large number of live animals used throughout the play. I was amazed at how well the animals did! The cast acted and sang very well. The life of Jesus was detailed very well. I felt these scenes with the Pharisees gave a great visual about how they followed Jesus around in real life. The crucifixion of Jesus was dramatic but not gruesome. I recommend this play!

Awesome experience every time. I have been three times. I would pay double the cost to see any of them again.
