Where to Eat in La Mesa | Eater San Diego

"La Mesa has a great spot for authentic Thai cuisine on Lake Murray Boulevard. Some menu standouts include popular dishes like drunken noodles and green curry, plus addictive specialities like pad prik Thai dum, a soft shell crab sautéed in garlic and black pepper sauce." - darlene-horn

Friendly service, Very nice people, and good food. It was my first time eating Thai food and the young female waitress was very kind and recommended some delicious options. She gave the type of service that has customers returning. I’d recommend this place.

Amazing! Signature Thai Cuisine is the gem in La Mesa area. We came back for several times already and every time we're here we are so impressed with the food is delicious, service from the staff is great and the decorations are beautiful, they changing in different theme of season. I highly recommended this place.

We celebrated my husband’s mom’s birthday there with a group of four, and our server, PiM, took amazing care of us. She surprised us with four complimentary, beautiful, and delicious boba drinks, along with free coconut ice cream. My husband and his mom were so impressed! The food was outstanding, especially the Three Flavor Fish and the Duck Curry. Prices were also very reasonable. Truly one of the best Thai restaurants I highly recommend!

I recently dined at Signature Thai Cuisine and had the pleasure of being served by Danny C. From the moment we arrived, Danny was attentive and friendly, making sure we felt welcome. I ordered the Pad Woosen with Shrimp at level 1 and the Butterfly Pea with Lime Soda**. Both dishes were absolutely to die for! The Pad Woosen was perfectly cooked, with a delightful balance of flavors and just the right amount of spice at level 1. The shrimp were fresh and succulent, complementing the dish beautifully. The Butterfly Pea with Lime Soda was a refreshing choice, beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. It was the perfect accompaniment to my meal. Danny's service was outstanding, he was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. I highly recommend visiting Signature Thai Cuisine and asking for Danny C; you won't be disappointed!

Google
Nice atmosphere and interior, we had a nice private table for 6. Our server Danny was exceptionally nice and friendly. Food came out tasting good and delicious! Restaurant was so busy and now we understood why. Price was reasonable and if we are ever in area we will return.

Google
Great service! We got the chicken wings and spare ribs to start. Highly recommend the wings. I got the three flavor fish and my boyfriend got the Khao Soi. Both were delicious and went really well together. And mango sticky rice for dessert. So good. Will definitely go back!

I was craving Thai food after a long day at work and a personal appointment. Decided to return to Signature Thai after being away for years. It was a Friday night and the inside seating was packed. Honestly, I've never had to wait. I opted out seating outside because it was a little too cold for me. The food quality is great! The service was stellar. Kaila was amazing! Danny was friendly. Entire staff was kind. We had order calamari as a appetizer. For the main course, a seafood dish that arrived in a pot and a soft crab shell dish. Both came with a side of rice of your choice. I didn't snap photos because I was too hungry. Every dish you order comes out with a orchid flower gives it a beautiful touch. Will definitely return again.

Yelp
It is Not my 1st time to Eat at "Signature Thai" in La Mesa ... I have been there with several different friends and family members and We All Love the Food, which is so delicious and seasoned perfectly. This time we got Take-Out on a Wednesday night and the Restaurant was very busy with diners and Take-out services. It was so Great to see since they deserve the business and their food is a scrumptious experience. I highly recommend "Signature Thai" Restaurant to all those that love a wonderful dining experience, this is your place!!! Marci Arkin

Yelp
My favorite Thai place in San Diego. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious, and the inside is so cute. They always decorate for the holidays and it is fun to see. I appreciate the many vegetarian options and they can adjust almost any dish if needed. Their curry is the best I have had in San Diego and so reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I can see why this place is a local favorite! This has to be some of the best thai food I've had in the area. I've passed this area so many times growing up in La Mesa, but have never tried this place until recently. I only got take out, but the decor and vibes inside the restaurant looked so fun to be in. The staff was so kind when I came to pick up my food, so I would dine in here soon hopefully. My friends and I ordered a few things: pad thai, drunken noodles, papaya salad, and the tom kha soup. Everything was a hit!!! The only thing we regretted was not getting our noodles a little spicier because we were worried the spicy level would be high as a Thai spot, but a 4 was very mild to us, so I would say go a little higher than a 4 if you like a medium spice.

Yelp
Wifey planned a dinner outing with one of her coworkers and what started out as a dinner party of two ended up being a party of five because wife invited me and her coworker invited her parents. When my wife informed me that we'd be having dinner with people who normally aren't adventurous opting for chain restaurants like Applebee's, she asked me to find a good restaurant for them to try out. I asked my wife what type of food and she said Thai food. I looked via my trustworthy Yelp app for a Thai restaurant halfway between us and them and found Signature Thai Cuisine. Although we were supposed to treat and were blessed that Rose's coworker and parents treated us, we're so thankful that we all got to experience the stellar Signature Thai Cuisine restaurant, the amazing Thai food, and the customer oriented staff. Signature Thai is located in La Mesa off of Lake Murray Blvd. a couple exits east from San Diego State University. The restaurant can be found within an outdoor strip mall where there is a now closed down Big Lots retail store. Signature Thai is a few steps across from Thai Sports Massage & Spa, on the same side as Patty's Cafe and Goodwill, and next door to Beverage City Liquor. There is plenty of parking in this strip mall. From the outside, the restaurant doesn't seem too big, but looks are deceiving. As you enter Signature Thai, you can tell Autumn and Halloween are just around the corner as the restaurant was decorated in Fall colors with orange and red foliage throughout, skeletons and other Halloween accoutrements, a giant spider hanging from the ceiling, and spiderwebs adding to the festive decor. It's a spacious restaurant with a good amount of indoor seating consisting of leather bench seating and leather chairs and there's covered outdoor seating. You wouldn't think from the outside, but it's a classy restaurant with artistic depictions of Thailand hanging on their main wall, distressed wooden laminate flooring, and wine bottle selections staged around the restaurant. The restaurant was packed for a Saturday, so do like us and make a reservation. Our waitress and the staff we interacted with were so nice, friendly, and our waitress was so attentive and really took care of us by checking on us at a good pace filling our refillable drinks. There are a few restaurants throughout San Diego that are our go to Thai restaurants and after our first time dining at Signature Thai, we are definitely adding it to our go to Thai restaurant list. Besides the ambience and noteworthy staff, the Thai food here was amazingly delicious. They really don't serve dishes that are family style, but our party decided to order several dishes and share these dishes amongst ourselves. Please feel free to imitate what we ordered because I'm confident that you will enjoy the food we chose as much as we did. We ordered the tasty Egg Rolls for appetizers, which are hand rolled lightly golden fried spring rolls wrapped with cabbage, mushrooms, carrots, sweet corn, and glass noodles served with sweet chili sauce. We ordered a Beef Salad, which comes with marinated grilled top sirloin steak and a medley of vegetables. That steak was cooked perfectly tender. We thoroughly enjoyed their Orange Chicken, which was deep-fried battered chicken with finger licking sweet orange sauce and garnished with a sliced orange, fresh cilantro, and sesame seed. It ate really well with the provided white rice. Make sure to order their Classic Thai Fried Rice, which comes with classic Jasmine rice stir-fried with garlic, egg, cut tomatoes, Chinese broccoli, white and green onions, sliced cucumbers, and we added beef as our protein. A must order is their Pad Thai, which is stir-fried fresh thin rice noodles served with egg, Chinese chives, bean sprouts, fish sauce, and garnished with chopped roasted peanuts. Their pad thai was delectable and satisfying. We didn't make any of our dishes spicy, but you can ask for their homemade chili sauce and chili flakes. To end our memorable meal, we ordered their Sweet Rice with Mango. The sweet rice was yummy, but the mango was tart. We had a wonderful time of fellowship with my wife's coworker and her parents. What made our fellowship that much better was breaking bread with them at Signature Thai Cuisine where they serve scrumptious Thai food, employ customer focused staff, and it's a nice spot to meet new friends.

Yelp
Great spot for Thai food! The flavors were authentic and delicious. Great service as well! Sticky rice portions were giant compared to other Thai spots. Will definitely be returning whenever I'm in the area.
google avatar

Katia Y.

Yelp
Oh my gosh, I definitely need to come back here. I tried their soft shell crab pad Thai, which was out of this world! It's the perfect amount of savory with that classic pad thai taste. It's not overly saucy and not dry at all. The noodles are so chewy and the soft shell crab really adds a good layer of flavor and crunch that you won't get with regular chicken/shrimp/tofu pad thai. The restaurant is dimly lit, which kind of makes it a more relaxed atmosphere. It's a little small inside so I can see it getting loud or easily busy if there's a lot of people. The server was very attentive and made sure to clear our plates right away when we were finished.

Yelp
Everything was absolutely perfect. I would come here again if I were in the area. The food tasted soooo good. Even as leftovers, they were amazing. You can tell they're super authentic. The service was nice too. They were attentive during our stay. It is pretty quiet but I would've preferred that for this restaurant anyways.

Yelp
First time visiting. We had the cream cheese wontons, pad thai with fried tofu and shrimp, and panang curry. Everything had great flavor but the textures/consistencies were a bit off. The cream cheese filling in the fried wontons was loose so it just fell out after the first bite. The curry and pad thai noodles had a starchy texture to both dishes. The curry was the most noticeable. Bummer because the flavors were really good. Service was attentive until the restaurant got busy and service dipped a bit. I loved the style of the restaurant. They did a good job with the space.

Yelp
Hidden gem alert!! This is definitely my go-to Thai spot. Each dish is bursting with flavor. This time I ordered the pad see ew with shrimp and orange chicken & rice. They decorate for each holiday which is super cute, and the food is amazing whether you dine in or eat out. Indoor & outdoor seating is available. Friendly staff and quick service. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
The best experience at Signature Thai occurs when dining in. The takeout experience however was still notably lower in quality albeit faster. Service was friendly but the food took a while to come out. Spice levels went from 1-10 with 5 packing a reasonable heat for me. Entrees came out at different times and there were strange gaps in between dishes. *Thai Tea: heavily sweetened and milk forward. The tea was fragrant but the ratio skewed towards the half and half. *Papaya Salad: crisp, fresh papaya coated in a spicy and sour sauce. The dried shrimp and peanuts offered some crunch and saltiness. The tomatoes were my favorite since it soaked up all the marinade. *Pad Se Ew: personal favorite. The noodles were thicker and chewy. The sweet and salty sauce went well with the tender chicken. The vegetables were cooked down well and sof *Pad Thai: when dining in, the noodles were pleasantly bouncy and long. There was a prominent lime flavor in the sauce and the crushed peanuts added earthiness. This overall dish benefited from additional spice and the added protein was generously portioned out. *Crying Tiger: the meat was incredibly chewy and tough. There was little seasoning on the meat and I was expecting a stronger marinade. The steak was difficult to cut through and we had to shred through the tough fibers. *Tom Yum: the large version provided a portion for everyone in my group of 6. The seafood selection included mussels, squid, whitefish, and shrimp. While the protein was good, the broth was rather mild. It lacked spice and acidity. Despite ordering this at level 5, this was noticeably blander than our noodles. *Mango Sticky Rice: the mango was slightly sweet but the rice was very mushy. The coconut milk was throughly soaked in. This resembled sweet porridge rather than the traditional dessert. Although my takeout was prepared promptly, the noodles were mangled and fragmented. The flavors were not as developed nor savory as when I dined in. Overall, the noodle dishes are the tastiest although not the most consistent. When executed well, Signature Thai serves up some of my favorite Thai dishes.

Yelp
Really fun to walk into this place as it is brimming with character. Daniel was our very attentive waitstaff member who took good care of us. A gentleman took my father and I here as a way to say thank you. He enjoyed a delicious fish of yellow curry. I think he's a repeat customer Dad and I split a lunch special pad Thai which was so large we had enough to take some home. Although we asked for it not to be spicy it had a bit of a kick. The soup was interesting. Not quite sure what type it was but should have asked them to heat it up as it was tempid. They were kind enough to bring one for each me and dad even though we split our meal. Given the great experience I hate to write this but the Pad Thai was not quite what we are used to do. If we were to go back we'd try something else.

Yelp
Always a great please for Thai I was disappointed with the host's attitude he said booths were reserved. No personality and just rude and should be gone I asked to speak to the owners a he said they were not in! I will be calling every time to reserve the booth for now on.

Yelp
Thai food is one of my favorite food and sometimes it's really too hard to find good ones in San Diego. I found this place while I was running errands with my friend and we decided to try this place out. Ever since I tried this place out I can't stop coming back. I came back again for my birthday and brought my family so that they could try it too. There Is plenty of seating inside and outside. Plenty of parking. The inside is nice, I really like how they decorated it. The food is absolutely delicious! When they ask you about the spice level be honest and if you don't know how spicy their levels are ask because their food can get spicy! The employees are wonderful, very friendly and kind. They're also helpful if you're unsure what to order, offering recommendations based on what you like and what you are open to trying something new.

Yelp
I haven't tried many Thai places in San Diego admittedly, but this spot has been a great starter. The service was great and Server Kwan was attentive and all smiles. Very homey atmosphere and most of the food was great as well. Crying Tiger (comes with rice): Usually a specialty in many Thai places, but this dish surprisingly fell short. Beef was not high quality and extremely tough and hard to cut. There wasn't enough flavor and citrus in the sauce for me to enjoy. Pad See Ew: The best dish here by far. I've tried many Pad See Ew dishes, but this one surprised me by the smoky flavor and the soft duck. So much flavor! Tom Yum Soup: Above average soup. I liked the chili and peppers in the broth and there was a vast amount of seafood with an array of mussels, shrimp, fish, and squid. There was no rice provided alongside and an extra bowl costs $3. Papaya Salad: This was an amazing starter! I love fish sauce and tons of citrus so this was a pleasant surprise. The texture was great with the small bits of fried shrimp and crunchy papaya and carrot. Mango Sticky Rice: This desert was a bit of a let-down. Overly wet and sweet, but at least the mango tasted high quality. Thai Tea: Same as the sticky rice, unnecessarily sugary. Although some dishes were a bit of a letdown, I wouldn't let that dissuade anyone from trying out this spot. The servers were amazing and the Pad See Ew will be in my dreams tonight.

Yelp
Very good Thai restaurant. Food was tasty and greasy. I had the yellow curry, it was delicious. Ambiance is perfect for the type of restaurant that it is. Service was very good and we were a larger party.

Yelp
Still 5 Star! Came by for a dinner date and the head chef cooked our dinner. We ordered Drunken Noodle. And OMG, we were blown away! You could taste the difference. You could taste the char. It's wonderful when you can truly taste the care and skill a chef puts into a dish. The char adding that extra layer of flavor and umami was incredible. We also love that the servers are always so sweet and have exceptional service. They do try to remember each of their guest and they always sit us at "our table" or so we think ha! Either way, having a "special table" definitely adds to that warm and welcoming feeling.
google avatar

Lizzie R.

Yelp
I have ate in here but I do prefer to take it to go. They are been a little loud inside when it's busy during dinner time. I really love the spicy noodle dish and their curry is super yummie. I love the fish tank and vibes inside. When it's not a busy time I enjoy eating there.
google avatar

Yelp
Really tasty! They have lunch specials Monday through Friday with decent deals. I got the Thai basil veggie stir fry with brown rice and had enough for the next day too. They provided hot sauce and soy sauce and all the needed utensils.

Yelp
This place feels like a truly hidden gem! Literally 5 min. from us. I've lived in the neighborhood 3 yrs, my dinner companions 30+ yrs and none of us had been here. When we have since told multiple friends about our fantastic experience here they all said they've been coming here for years! We came in on a whim because we were craving Thai & saw that this place was close by. Decided to drop by & dine in. Weren't expecting much from the unassuming strip mall location but were pleasantly surprised the minute we opened the door. Were greeted warmly, seated quickly, and the decor was so cute, at this time decorated for Easter...on future visits always accordingly festive. The food was fantastic and they are very cognizant to ask what level of spice you think you can handle. We tried pork fried rice, pad Thai w/chicken, & yellow curry with chicken, all were delicious and served family style in portions that were generous enough for leftovers to take home. However, the star of the meal was the Tom Kha soup! We added shrimp, but we could all eat it with no added meat and would have been just as amazing. Perfect balance of sweet, citrus, & spice. Would come here every week just to eat the soup. Oh, and not to mention the prices are extremely reasonable! Love this place & Will keep coming back and recommending.

Yelp
It's has been a while since we found a good Thai restaurant. This is place is very nice, great customer service and the food is bomb. Papaya salad is very good. It's hard to find a good Thai place have good papaya salad and we were so happy and thrill when we taste it. It's very good. Refreshing Green curry, Tom kha and basil eggplant were all good. The food seasoning is very great with our taste. The server was friendly and nice. I will definitely come back here.

Yelp
I love everything that I get from this restaurant. The flavors are up to par Everytime. Great service and great ambience love the decor. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
When I came in with my boyfriend, we waited for a host who had us sign a wait list with no other party before us. The host said it would take 10 minutes, they just needed to wait for a table to clear as a couple was seated there already. There were several empty tables which is odd but fine, until they seated three other parties before us. I just don't understand what the wait process is here or why I'm putting my name on an imaginary waitlist that clearly doesn't matter.

Yelp
The food was all super worth wild. You get a good amount for what you are paying for, we had leftovers too! It is a decent size restaurant, we went around lunch but didnt have to wait. The spice level was a good spice level, if you like spicy you can ask for medium but mild had a bit of a kick to it too! They gave you a lot of the mango sticky rice too which is rare a lot of Thai places ive been too they dont give to too much mango sticky rice.

Yelp
A friend recommended this place and I was in the area for lunch. First, the place is very cozy, clean and a great ambiance. Second, the staff was attentive, accommodating and helpful. Water was refilled quickly and they had enough staff to support the full restaurant. Third, the food was delicious, proteins were well portioned and cooked well. The flavors were complex and and you want more. Since this lunch meal, I ordered take out and the food quality was excellent again. I highly recommend.

Alan C.

Yelp
My wife friends and I love meeting at Signature Thai for awesome food. They have incredible curries and Thai staples. I would highly recommend Signature Thai to anyone looking for great food from Thailand.
google avatar

Yelp
We ordered for pick up. Cream cheese wontons, chicken salad, and pad woosen. Cream cheese wontons were undercooked and the skin was almost gooey like uncooked bread. Flavor was good but they were mostly inedible. The salad was sad, maybe less than a cup of actual lettuce, most of it was wilted or starting to decay. The chicken was dry. Absolutely awful for $17. My husband enjoyed the Pad Woosen. Would not eat again for take out.

Yelp
As soon as you walk in, this place screams Amazing Thailand--from the intricate wood carvings to the golden Buddha statues, it's like stepping into a Thai temple with a side of Pad Thai. The ambiance is on point, transporting you straight to the bustling streets of Bangkok--minus the humidity and tuk-tuks. Now, let's talk about the food. I'll be honest, I wasn't blown away, but maybe I just didn't order the right dish. The flavors were there, but they didn't quite hit that bold, aromatic punch I was expecting. That being said, the service was warm and welcoming, and since it wasn't too busy when we walked in, our food came out lightning-fast. Would I give it another shot? Probably--because every restaurant deserves a second chance, especially when it looks this good. Next time, I'll go for something more adventurous and see if it changes my mind!
google avatar

Jay O.

Yelp
Visited Signature Thai Cuisine and ordered the Drunken noodles with shrimp , large Tom Yum soup with shrimp and Pad Thai with Shrimp with level 3-4 on each dishes. Next time I will go up a couple notches in spice levels because a 4 wasn't spicy at all. The Drunken noodle was decent, however it was somewhat bland. The Tom Yum soup was delicious, wish there was more shrimp. That was the common theme throughout the dishes, not enough shrimp, even though you pay extra for it! The Pad Thai was good. I will give Signature another try, maybe another dish.

Yelp
We came here for their lunch menu on a Friday and were surprised it was so busy and bustling with people. The servers were pretty busy and didn't take our order for quite awhile however the food came out extremely fast which made up for the wait.

Paul R.

Yelp
The food is always delicious, but the pad thai was a bit sweet and needed more crushed peanuts. All of the curries are wonderful, but customers should be given small/medium bowls, not 6" plates where the curry slops off the plate too easily. Been here 20+ times and plan to continue.
google avatar

Yelp
This place exceeded my expectations for a strip mall restaurant. Beautiful on the inside. Food was fresh and flavorful with GORGEOUS presentation. Staff was so nice and attentive. Even offering recommendations on the dishes. Had zero issues splitting our bill for us. Will be my go to Thai place from now on.

Yelp
I spent nearly $50 on dinner - soup and appetizer while working on a Saturday. The soup came without rice that I paid extra for and unflavored even though I specified a spice level. Basically it was salty water with seafood. The deep fried wontons were decent. Maybe in person the experience is different but I literally took almost $50 and threw it in the trash. Unfortunate experience with Signature Thai

Yelp
Signature Thai Cuisine is perfectly named. It is truly 'cuisine' in terms of quality, portion size and service. 'Signature' means a unique characteristic, and is aptly descriptive of the dining experience here. Unfortunately, this outstanding restaurant is located is a rather shabby strip shopping center, made even less desireable by the closure of its anchor tenant Big Lots. In real estate speak, it is "in transition". Plainspeak: It's an eyesore. The upside: There is plenty of parking ! The menu itself is a work of art. It's rather large and heavy, bound by book-like burgundy faux leather covers. And yes, there are plenty of entree, appetizer dessert and drink choices with rather helpful photos of certain items. I've tried a number of entrees, but always return to Pad Thai. The portion is generous, and if you order it with chicken you won't have to search the dish for the protein. Service is always excellent, dare I say "Old School" quality? But this place is no secret, and it gets very busy at the usual times. They do take reservations, so it might be wise to avail yourself to avoid waiting. There is an outdoor patio fronting the parking lot, but the interior decorations of this restaurant are simply eye candy. The only downside (admittedly for some it would be an amenity) are the largish flatscreens on the walls showing Asian food videos and reviews. Distracting, to say the least. Pay attention to the food ! It's fabulous.

Yelp
This place is five stars hands-down the food is amazing. The servers are on point. The ambience was beautiful. They even had amazing decorations for the holiday season. I highly recommend coming here if you want a quick dinner takeout or a nice sitdown date the wine was also very good and a decent price. Please try this place when you are hungry for some good Thai food.

Yelp
$15.19 for a 1/2 order lunch special with barely any meat and a wilted salad. Insane.
google avatar

Yael M.

Yelp
Signature Thai has been a La Mesa staple with its incredible service and delicious food! The restaurant transforms for the holiday season and it feels so festive inside. I recommend making a reservation if you're going on a weekend as they tend to get busy but I was able to get a table inside without one. I got my go-to order of chicken drunken noodles and the chicken was cooked to perfection and the noodles were perfectly chewy. I only tried their level 1 spice and can definitely go spicier next time. I also got to try their cashew nut chicken at a level 7 spice which was flavorful with a bit of heat. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit next time you're craving Thai which if we're being honest is probably most of the time!

Yelp
TENS ACROSS THE BOARD! Our server, Kwan, ensured an exceptional experience from the food to the service!!! My friend and I started off with the Vegetarian Curry Puffs (unpictured)...I am now obsessed with them, especially knowing that these are not usually on the menu at other Thai restaurants. The outside is so crispy with the warm and savory curry filling. For our mains, we got the Pad See Ew and Crab Fried Rice. I will definitely be returning for them again... and mango sticky rice! The plating is everything. The interior of the restaurant is also very cute and modern! I love the hanging flowers that greet you at the door.

Yelp
What can I say? Probably the best Thai Food in SD. We had their pine apple fried rice , pad Thai, and orange chicken and it was delicious. Starting with the fried rice, it was a solid 9.5 out of 10, the rice was not sticky, had the right amount of eggs and vegetables Their Pad Thai was a 9 out of 10. Very well done The orange chicken was 8 out of 10, a little pasty but still better then most The service was a great 9.5 out of 10, the ladies here are kind and provide that old school Style of customer service

Yelp
One Thai place that has never disappointed us. Absolute favorite mango/sticky rice outside of Thailand. They get it right! Wait staff is sincere and helpful, and food comes out quick. Very quaint spot in an easy to overlook strip mall. Love eating here!

Yelp
Recently moved to the La Mesa are and was in the mood for some Thai food. Yelp brought me here and will be coming back for more. There's in/outdoor seating, but I chose indoor. The restaurant gives off a relaxing intimate feel once you step in, there's a slight dimness to the lights which is satisfying to me. They have Halloween decorations up which I also appreciated. Upon sitting down to order our waitress was very kind and attentive. I ended up ordering the Pad Thai with mild spiciness. It was so delicious! I'd like to add that their portion sizes are HUGE! I did get spring rolls as an appetizer which too were also very tasty. I highly recommend!

Yelp
This eye-catching Thai restaurant is not only visually appealing from the outside but the inside is extraordinary! Once you walk in the door, you can feel the vibrant energy with the beautiful decor. There is also a fish tank that is so pretty too! If you are a fan of Curry like me, order it because o was blown away from the flavor. Upon ordering, a friendly waitress named Kaila was so sweet, helpful, and friendly. She greeted my Mother and I with the most beautiful smile and took her time to go over the menu with us. She was very attentive and checked in with us to see if we needed anything else throughout our lunch like an AWESOME Waitress does. I decided to try the Red Curry with Shrimp. A side of white rice accompanied my dish. My curry had a significant medley of colorful and tasty vegetables to give it extra flavor and that perfect crunch texture that is so satisfying was there! In addition to my red curry dish, I also had to order spring rolls that were total perfection. They were delicious and crunchy served with a sweet dipping sauce. The decor. service, and food was PERFECTION! This will be my new go to Thai Restaurant! What are you waiting for? Say Carla referred you!

Yelp
Amazing price point for their portions. To start, the thai iced tea was one of the best I've had in a long time. It was very rich and creamy. I ordered the tofu cashew nut stir fry and it was delicious. Plenty of tofu and cashews to go around. My friends panang curry was so flavorful as well! This is a must try Thai spot in La Mesa

Yelp
I absolutely love this place, and it's perfect for a date spot. Definitely a smaller dining room, so larger parties might be a little difficult, but I haven't had to wait too long any of the times I've been here. Service is always fast, and servers check in often. I always start with their Tom Kha soup. Plenty of ingredients flavor each time. Went with their Pad Thai and Drunken Noddles on this visit. Now, spice is difficult to gauge. That being said, I'd recommend being careful if you're sensitive to spice. I enjoy spice, and sometimes their medium gives a little kick. Highly recommend trying their crab fried rice too!

Yelp
Delicious every time. My favorites are Drunken Noodles with beef, Green curry with chicken, chicken Thai fried rice and the cream cheese wontons.

Yelp
I had the Khao Soi Curry noodles. It was delicious! The woman who took my order. Who was very nice told me that it comes with a chicken leg. And offered to give me white meat of chicken instead. I accepted. I did not know, however, that it was going to cost an extra three dollars. I also ordered a side of brown rice which added another $3. It does not come with rice as it comes with animals. It's one or the other. The dish came with some pickled vegetables which were interesting. Some cabbage, fried, crispy noodles and regular noodles. They were all packaged separately nicely. I still didn't feel that the soft noodles were cooked quite enough. But that might be because I had the order for takeout and if they were to serve it in the restaurant, the noodles will cook more in the sauce probably. I think we really were around four thirty ish, and there was no one in the restaurant except one table. Take out order took about fifteen or twenty minutes. You can enjoy the beautiful tropical fish in the fish tank as you are waiting. They even have a Sea Star!
