"The first written record of this fabulous inn dates back to 1774. It has now been run by the Sigwart family for six generations. The dedication of the chef-patron and her team is evident in every detail, from the cosy wood-panelled interior featuring a lovely tiled stove and antique farmhouse cupboards, to the charming and adept service and, of course, the delicious food. The cuisine is classic with the occasional Asian twist. The dishes are impressively robust in terms of flavour and in no way lacking in sophistication. Seated at beautifully laid tables, diners tuck into classics such as a light lobster foam soup with pike dumplings. The wine list, while not overly extensive, offers a high-quality selection, with a particularly noteworthy collection of magnums and whiskies." - Michelin Inspector
One of the most impressive Austrian restaurants I've ever visited. Hyper-local ingredients and traditions mixed with an international knowledge of preparation and execution. An absolutely location and impeccable and friendly service

My husband and I had a wonderful night by enjoying the cuisine of the lovely restaurant. It’s obvious offering creative cuisine which are not very traditional. People are very friendly and I was impressed:)
We had petit menu and of course it’s worth of the value. Hope to visit soon.
It’s not a cheap restaurant but definitely worth of the value.

Authentic Austrian restaurant with touch of fine French dining. Nice quiet place, pleasant wait stuff and not low prices, but it was a great experience. Really tasty food.

Such a cute and traditional Austrian restaurant. The interior makes a great atmosphere. Food was perfect, everything was delicious and presented beautifully. The lobster was super soft, asparagus very tasty. They even prepared a special dessert for me that didn't contain lactose or gluten which was very nice and also pretty yummy. Definitely want to come back and try all the other things on the menu.

We were without doubt the wrong group for this restaurant (6 adults with kids). Plus we just wanted a nice meal not a fine dining experience on this particular evening. Our fault, we picked the wrong place for the party. (Maybe the group at the table next to us did too as they were loudly playing Uno). But when it became obvious we weren’t going to spend 150€ a head it got a bit weird and when we paid the bill they didn’t even bother to say goodbye. I won’t be back even if I’m in the mood for a 700€ Penfold Shiraz and a steak. The food was great and the wine list exceptional if you are looking for something extra special. No doubt a great restaurant for a special dinner.
