We had heard about this place from a friend and wanted to give it a try. We booked our hotel near Frenchman street, in the Marigny, add the Balcony Guesthouse. Turns out this restaurant was attached! We settled in and treated ourselves to a very generous and not expensive sazarac, properly made and ordered the Saag Paneer. There are very few seats and a small menu. We enjoyed the music and the vibe. The saag paneer came out really great! We appreciated the Brown rice with lentils. And the dish was very refreshing had a nice light flavor the paneer was fried to a beautiful golden crisp. Overall, we think this place is a winner!

I( a local)worked with Chef G to create a fun evening with college friends and spouses who had lived in India for a month in the late 70’s. I wanted a fun Indian variety, not too spicy as we are older. We had the back room with Brittany as our bartender( for wine/beers) and our server. Folks could visit the bar for cocktails. The buffet set up was perfect and the food was enjoyed by all. Samosas, crab balls, chicken tikka masala, spinach paneer, sesame encrusted salmon, saffron rice and a rich chocolate cake for dessert. It was VERY reasonable. The seasoning was good for this group although my family would have needed Tabasco. :) We had fun with trivia and could be as silly/loud as we wanted as it was just us! Brittany even learned a thing or two!! I would highly recommend Silk Road for any gathering like this. We were 25 and were staying down the street so the location was perfect. The neighborhood is very safe and parking would not be a problem if it was needed.

Indian went NOLA 🇮🇳 ⚜️ • We had a great experience and added to my list of saved places. On the cocktail side, The Nola Chai was a little sweet but still good. The Aviator was spot on! • Starters were Golden Lentils and Korean Brussel Sprouts. Lentils pulled the traditional Indian curry flavors and the Brussels were perfectly cooked and a touch of sweet. • Mains: The Braised Short Aruba were close to the most tender I have tried and savory. The Thai Green Curry was so good and reminded me of traditional New Orleans BBQ shrimp in the way it was cooked with the Head on shrimp smothered in the curry. Pretty spicy but bearable, just expect and explosion of flavors. • Very nice spot in the Marigny, away from the crowded areas of town. Will definitely be coming back when we’re out this way again!

A short walk from our lodging, the Silk Road fed us well! The mint yogurt chutney that accompanied the lamb was delicious! Our waitress was kind and attentive. The wine selection is competitive. The mulligatawny was scrumptious!

Google
Went for Coolinary Month, Very Glad we did! Unique flavorings of food that are pleasing and filling. The lemongrass crab bisque was amazing. Rich, creamy very satisfying. The smoked center cut pork chops were tender, moist and enough for my wife and I to share. Asked for more sauce, didn't get it. Shared the white chocolate cheese cake that was easily the most incredible I have ever had. Will add this to the list to go back again!!!

Google
Nice atmosphere, adequate food, good vibes. Food was a solid 3.75. We ordered the crab cake and samosa for starters. Both were amazing. Thai green curry was very flavorful, probably the top dish we ordered. We ordered it 3 level spice but it wasn’t spicy at all. Chicken tikka masala was just okay. Smoked burgers were a hit, 2nd best option. The mango cheesecake was also fantastic, highly recommend.

Google
Went for Coolinary. Just ok especially considering the price. Might go back to try other dishes since quality varied per dish. Samosas wer flavorful and good. Nice heat mixed with sweetness of chutney. Korean chicken were great. Very Krispy. Chili Shrimp was not that great. Saag Paneer was just okay. The paneer was very good, sauce was fine, tons of spinach stems and not enough spinach. Gulab Jamun were served cold which was odd and not good. The white chocolate cheesecake was good, but it would be better labeled as a mango white chocolate cheesecake cake since it was heavily mango flavored. Service was quick. Inside of restaurant is not well maintained and layout feels odd.

I came here with my bf. Such a gem place in core area New Orleans l, very communal spot where serves friendly service and a variety dishes (mainly Indians!) the chopped pork is fabulous that has good combination. Please try when you nearby!

Yelp
Stopped here while in New Orleans after seeing it make the yelp 2022 top 100 list and oh boy it did not disappoint! We called ahead and made a reservation, we had a group of 5 so would recommend making a reservation if your geoup is our size or bigger. We had an order of samosas, chicken wings, the prawn dish, as well as the mango cheesecake (which was a HUGE crowd pleaser)

Yelp
Nice, chill bar. The bartendar was both efficient and pleasant. I had the Jeera Basmati Rice and a Riesling. The rice was not bad, but unique. I added a dash of salt to get it to my liking. The Riesling paired well with it though. I will definetely come again.

Yelp
The establishment has a nice decor and is comfortable. The service was friendly and attentive. Nice presentation on the plating. The dishes had some nice elements but all of them needed a bit more or less to make them memorable.

Yelp
The service is decent. The menu has changed drastically. The original chef is no longer there. They seem to have retained his two desserts, the mango cheesecake and the flourless chocolate cake. It looks like there's a few of his appetizers left, but basically the whole menu has become a very much larger Indian menu, which is good. I just miss the original chef and his version of things. There's much more dining space and many more menu items now. And the whole old corner store vibe is gone completely from when it used to be Schiro's.

Yelp
We was walking from The Country Club and stopped in for drinks and y'all!!!!!! Come try the lemon drop shot with a sugary lemon and the fries with some yumlious seasoning! Liza and Sonja were so accommodating. Definitely a cute lill chill spot.

Yelp
A fabulous experience for our group of 14. We had a large table in the back and while it wasn't entirely quiet, we shared conversation and wonderful food. In the group, there were a variety of food needs that the menu supported- gluten free, bland, vegetarian, etc. We had several bottles of wine- chose one from the cases lining the walls, a spread of appetizers, and a variety of entrees. I enjoy mild Indian food- I intentionally avoid vindaloo- so, if you looking for an authentic Indian meal, I can't speak to that but my tikka masala was buttery and rich in flavor. And, the garlic naan was charred to perfection. Great evening and great meal.

Yelp
Went to Silk Road as a group of 5 for restaurant week. We had reservations and were sat at a comfortable table right away. The bartender understood when I said extra dirty martini because that's exactly what I got and it was perfect. The calamari salad was good enough that I would go back just for that - loved the dressing! Sorry that I didn't get a photo of the salmon, it was good just not quite as tasty as I expected it to be, lacked a little flavor but still good. I was jealous of my husband's pork chop the bite I had was delicious! But what really stole the show was the mango cheesecake- wow! Decent! Its a lovely place and I highly recommend!

Yelp
Wow. A delightful young server helped us decide on our dishes. She steered us in the right direction! I know... I know...in New Orleans? Curry? Yes! Great happy hour as well. This is an international city and we were here for 4 days...wanted to diversify our choices.

ReNee V.

Yelp
I've been hearing about this place for a while and decided to finally try it out. The naan was the best I've ever had, and the service was great. However, as a New Orleans native, I can confidently say this is Indian food for white people. Not southern white people. Northerners and beyond. Maybe elderly with sensitive taste buds. Please put some seasoning! It has so much potential. Maybe offer spice levels to address a variety of clientele?

Yelp
Interesting atmosphere, cool concept, and the food was delicious. Unique experience. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Always a great spot to eat, drink and be social. Staff are amazing, food is damn delicious.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this restaurant. First, the beer. I loved the Irish Channel Stout. Second, the food. I got a lovely Lemongrass and Crab Bisque which had large chunks of crab and was so nice and flavorful. It had a little bit but was so good. I also got a cracker which was excellent and very crabby. I loved it. And then there was a nice and friendly bartender. This was a nice experience.

Yelp
This is a funky little joint in the bywater with live music, great wine and delicious apps! They're crab bisque is a huge portion with tons of crab and spice. If you like your food to have a good kick, this is the place for you. My entree was delicious, but my husband's pork chop was a little dry. Their cheesecake is also super yummy. Great service!
google avatar

Yelp
Dipped in here to hide from the rain and glad we did because everything was 10/10! Service was great, vibe was cozy, food was phenomenal and wine selection plentiful. Make sure you get the chai martini and you can't go wrong with the curry or the burger. Honestly this might be one of those restaurants I have to go back and try the entire menu

James Z.

Yelp
the food keeps getting worse and worse. this new "chef curated menu" is terrible... and your comment surprises me a bit, especially after you promised long time customers you'd keep a few of the neighborhood favorites on the menu. (you did not). some change is fine but get back to basics guys.... I genuinely don't understand what you're doing at this point. for anyone considering silk road - go to silk road for drinks but to pulcinella, the franklin or acamaya for food instead.
google avatar

Lacey D.

Yelp
My husband and I had a delicious meal here. We had the cheese plate, bel puri, crab soup, english salad, chicken tikka masala, mango cheesecake. Everything was very good and the portions were decent. Not the cheapest place but worth it!

Yelp
Now this is one of my favorite spots for a good dinner. Good drinks, great service and great atmosphere. A mix of Indian food and Cajun food. You have to try their old-fashioned whiskey sour. Life-changing. Great restaurant for a date. Fantastic wine and beer selection also.and you can buy bottles of wine to go. I always go for the curry dishes, which are amazing.

Yelp
Why have I never been here before? What am I doing with my life?? My cousin and I came here to check out their coolinary menu. I loved the space as soon as I entered. Its not pretentious and has just a welcome neighborhood vibe. I could tell that they have many regulars from nearby that frequent. The waitress was great. Our food came out fast and was so amazing that I am still thinking about it a week later. They have an extensive wine menu and also offer cheese boards...they had me at cheese so I KNOW I will return to try some. I had the pork belly tacos, green curry shrimp and the white chocolate mango cheesecake. DO NOT LEAVE without trying this damn cheesecake!!! I did not think these flavors would gel on my tongue but man oh man..i saved a small piece just to take home to have a taste for later. I have raved about this place so much that a few co-workers and I are planning a dinner there soon!

Samantha D.

Yelp
Best curry I've ever had. Best whiskey sour I've ever had. I was skeptical of the mango cheesecake till I took that first bite. It's a MUST try. Very friendly staff. Cool and unique atmosphere.

Yelp
Had the seafood special for that day! It was really good and something I wouldn't normally order but wanted to go out my comfort zone and it did not disappoint! The vibe is great and their wine options were great

Yelp
Came here yesterday to try the Coolinary menu. We were huge fans of Sara's back in the day and were thrilled to be able to taste Chef Ganesh's food again. The service was fantastic--warm and friendly. We called ahead to make sure they were serving dinner (we were coming in at 3:30), and when we arrived they had a table set for us. I had the samosas, salmon, and cheescake from the Coolinary menu (photos here), my partner had the chicken wings, saag paneer, and beignets. Everything was fantastic. The salmon dish was my favorite at Sara's, and it was just as perfectly delicious as I remembered. It was just the loveliest experience.

Yelp
Silk Road is a bit off the beaten path, but we were very interested in trying the restaurant. The reviews looked great, but they were old. We are so glad that we ate dinner here. We ate outside as it was a beautiful evening and the inside didn't appeal to us. The food was amazing and the prices incredibly (almost unbelievably) reasonable. Apparently the chef has been there for 10 years and continues to wow the staff with his creativity and quality delicious dishes. We can't agree more. Usually we don't repeat a restaurant when we are on vacation because there are so many to try in a short period of time. This food was so delicious, we will partake again before we leave. As a side note, my husband is gluten free and there were a number of options for him. His red curry dish was wonderful, as was my tikki masala.

Yelp
OK we were on our way to the FQ and intrigued by "G's Pot & Smoke" pop-up. LOL it wasn't what we thought. Best little corner bar with great wines and omg (we were here on StPaddy's) the Guinness stew was so delish! The red curry was super tasty. The staff are awesome! I would love to check out this place with their full menu (plus we got a bottle of cava for tomorrow's mimosas). We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I know - I know. Folks see fusion, in this case Indian / Cajun - and they're like oh heck no. A restaurant that can't choose its identity is a danger to its self and to others ! BUT! Enter chef Ganesh, a PHD microbiologist (yes this is true, you can fact check me!!) who has a passion for food, and has been in the restaurant industry going on three decades, teamed up with an owner / operator who owns and is hands on with all his hotels and restaurants around NOLA, and magic happens.... authentic Indian dishes that knock your socks off with their authentic spices and fragrant smells, unctuous cajun dishes which hold their own authentic flavor profiles... both men have been steeped in NOLA living for over 30 years yet have their Indian heritage in their hearts and souls, and you can feel it in the vibe and flavors of the place... the jasmine laced building is so stunning, passerby's regularly stop for selfies or just to admire the architecture. Now they've added a robust wine program with weekly tastings and events, led by a sommelier who's traveling the world and brining back his favorites !! NOT to be missed when you're in town !!

Yelp
Silk Road never disappoints. Great Indian fusion food, nice employees and decent drink prices.

Yelp
I have been coming here not for the food, hardly for the beer but mainly to see this awesome musician performing Irish songs. Aaron Svoboda. On Most Wednesday nights from 7-9. Mostly solo but sometimes its a session. Up to 6 musicians. The atmosphere is romantic and chill. The sound system is good and the servers are noice. The beer selection is really good. Prices are higher than I am used to but its ok, I gotta have a few Jucifers when listening to Mr. Svoboda. If you are craving some Irish tunes, please drop in and check him out!!

Yelp
Had a great time at Silk Road the other night. Love the style and ambience, the skilled harp player, the delicious food... I tried the Southern Indian red curry, naan, and a slice of flourless chocolate cake. The curry, which comes with jasmine rice, was rich with coconut milk and perfectly on point spice-wise. Hot, but not too hot. It contained a unique blend of veggies--peppers, potato, sweet potato, turnip, and squash, among others--and was beautifully presented. The naan came hot and buttered and complemented the curry nicely. I don't normally order dessert, but since a yelp check-in revealed a free one I had to try the chocolate cake... and wow, so glad I did! It was possibly my favorite item--dense, velvety, amazing, with raspberry and chocolate sauces drizzled just so. Wish this place was closer to home, but I'll probably be back nonetheless. Must try the samosas and the Thai green curry.

Yelp
We loved this place! A large group of us arrived and wanted to sit outside, we had to be split into 2 groups - which honestly was fine for dining - just a drag that our check wasn't split the way the tables were - and could not be split. The Samosas were delicious! I ordered the Saag Paneer and more naan than I needed, and was I so happy! The staff were attentive and playful, extremely helpful with the menu and ordering cocktails. The vibe is lovely, sitting outside made me so homesick for living in New Orleans. This place was great, highly recommend!

Yelp
Silk Road's Coolinary menu was just the motivation we needed to make the 15 minute walk over to this charming little corner eatery/wine & cheese shop. We were warmly greeted and immediately seated at a sidewalk table. I started with a very good old fashioned, then made our selections from the Coolinary menu. My date had the samosas, duck breast and bread pudding. She loved all three. I opted for the lemongrass crab bisque, which I'd been craving since first reading about it. It did not disappoint. Loved every bite. For my entree, I had the green curry shrimp, followed by mango cheesecake. Both were fantastic! Head-on shrimp in a perfect green curry. We took advantage of the wine pairing for an additional $15. All in all, a superb casual dinner, with excellent service, at a good value.

Yelp
This is a great spot that is truly sort of a hidden gem of Nola. They have a crazy menu with both Creole and Asian (Thai/Indian) foods, so a LOT to choose from. We came and ate on a Friday night with some friends, and they had tables distanced from each other, masks, the whole works in terms of protection, so you can feel confident coming in. As for the food, we ordered a TON of stuff knowing full well we would have leftovers! Also - they have GREAT prices on bottles of wine, which is fantastic. 1. Samosas - these were crispy and really good (also pretty large). 2. Spinach and goat cheese salad - this salad was amazing. The goat cheese was fried and perfect. 3. Lemongrass crab bisque - WOW. This was the star of the evening, in my opinion. Seriously a tasty (and a little bit spicy) soup with lots of crab. Highly recommended! 4. Green chicken curry - This was so-so, and only because the chicken was a little overcooked. The green curry sauce is DELICIOUS, but not really spicy enough for me. If you like a mild and tasty green curry, I might do this with vegetables instead of chicken next time. 5. Saag Paneer - The best entree we got for sure. Super tasty sauce, and the cheese was perfectly cooked. 6. Short ribs - These were pretty tasty, but a little heavy on the sauce. The spices were really good, though. 7. Sesame crusted salmon - SO GOOD. Perfectly cooked and the seasoning was just amazing. All in all, a great experience and a really nice team running the place. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
To start off the restaurant is has a old feel to it and a little market inside. Our waitress was lovely and helped us out perfectly. We ordered the samosas, braised beef short ribs, lamb palak, and southern Indian curry. And all of them were definitely delicious!!! Every item and a rich flavor and a little sweet hint to it. I particularly ordered the braised beef short ribs and it was so tender! There was no bone so perfect and it had a hoisin glaze which I loved. The curry along with the lamb weren't too spicy which was great. The samosas also were hearty and delicious! 10/10 would come back again!

Yelp
We were referred to this place by a bar patron down the street. Walked in and no one around so we sat on a table. Woman comes up and rudely tells us that next time we need to wait to be seated. Almost left but we really wanted to try the food out. Then a waitress came up who had the personality of a lamp shade. No greetings, no eye contact, just asked what we wanted to order. She came with the food and basically threw it on the table. The woman we first interacted with eventually came by with a big smile and asked how the food was. The food was delicious. However it made for a very uncomfortable and unwelcome experience. I'd possibly order take out but I would never refer anyone I know to dine in.

Yelp
It's been years since I had eaten at Silk Road but I had been hearing that chef Ganesh was back behind the stove... and I had loved his food years ago at Old Calcutta in the Riverbend. I stopped in after a nearby art show with a friend. We shared the samosas and some saag paneer. I also had tikka masala and my friend had something with eggplant. Everything was good and tasty. Service was fine and there was lovely live musician playing.

Helen S.

Yelp
BEWARE THEY CHARGE A SERVICE FEE FOR 6 people. no one told us this when I booked the table, when we got there and also not on the menu. messaged them to say how upset o was they read it but didn't even bother to reply !!!

Yelp
Long wait and mediocre food. Me and my sister came here for dinner and decided to eat outside. We waited about 45 minutes and didn't receive our order. The weather turned cold so we decided to eat inside and another waitress helped us out. She promptly sat us and brought our food out when we asked. Not surprisingly, my Jambalaya was cold. But even if it was hot, it would not have been good. The rice was mushy and the shrimp were small. My sister's curry dish was better, but still a rather small serving for the price and nothing special. Adding a star for the waitress that saved the day.

Yelp
Indian food served in an Irish pub? Yep, that's this place. Was NOT expecting gaelic night whatsoever (which is every Monday) and surprisingly had a great, unexpected night! Got veggie samosas and shrimp vindaloo for my meal. Surprisingly very good! The service was tough as the poor bartender was alone and the place was packed. She not only was the bartender but also server for the whole place which had every table occupied. This made for slow service but she was trying her best so we tipped her well. Hopefully that is not the norm there. We really felt for her.

Yelp
Chef Ganesh is AMAZING! Did you know he also has his PhD in biochemistry?? I definitely think the chemistry plays a role in his food because the flavors are so complex and well-rounded and all of the dishes are a wonderful mix of sweet, spicy, and umami! This cute little spot in the bywater is dimly lit and cozy, definitely a cute date spot! They also have a wall of wine bottles you can purchase to go with your meal! We did the Coolinary menu, but Chef Ganesh has different specials all week including a tapas Tuesday and they even have live music (check their website for the schedule). There is limited seating so I recommend making a reservation! We got the Korean fried chicken wings and lemongrass crab bisque which is just the right amount of heat and the perfect temperature. Warms & soothes your throat with just a little kick at the end! Also, it's LOADED with crab chunks, so it doesn't leave you guessing if they added it or not! The Korean fried chicken wings were lightly fried, super crispy and the sauce on top was the perfect umami flavor! Both fish dishes come with Jasmine rice, and sauteed vegetables like squash, zucchini, peppers, eggplant and onions (again with a little kick)! Both fish dishes were perfectly cooked with a nice little crust from either the toasted sesame seeds with the salmon, or the blackened pan with the drum! They were also large, thick cut portions of fish and quite filling! The wasabi beurre blanc with the salmon is creamy, buttery, and just a little spicy! Really suits the salmon well! The crab meuniere with the drum was rich and buttery with thick chunks of crab in it! You'll feel super spoiled if you order these dishes!!! Their mango cheesecake is also a classic! Just the right amount of rich mango flavor & sweetness with a thick crust! I tried the gulab jamun, an Indian/Nepalese/Bangladeshi dessert of what I would describe as little cake balls (kind of like a cake donut), that were fried and then soaked in a rose flavored syrup, quite delicious!!! If you're looking for a new date spot to try, I highly recommend this!!

Yelp
Wow. This place is most defiantly a hidden gem! Been coming to NOLA for years and this was one of our favorite places. Ate there twice. First my wife had chicken tikka masala and I had red curry shrimp and both were amazing. Had the Saturday brunch sweet potato bacon Benedict and crab cake Benedict and they were amazing as well. They threw in some free drinks both meals! Awesome staff and awesome place!

Yelp
On a warm summer night it was the perfect spot for an early dinner! As we walked into the restaurant the last of the naked bike ride onlookers were leaving the area. The dining room was nearly empty and we had a perfect four top table with a bench and two chairs. The seating was distanced and Silk Road has created wooden and glass partitions between each set of seats - very clever and nicely done. The cheery waitress greeted us with water, menus and let us have a few minutes to peruse the drink menu. We ordered a bottle of wine, an Indian beer and an old fashioned. All were excellent. The wine list is an eclectic list of great bargain bottles with surprisingly wonderful taste. In fact, I'll be back to go look at the wines and talk with the owner who curates this list. - for starters we had the eggplant tapenade - flavorful, great presentation with naan triangles. We also had the Bombay Behl Purl - a puffed rice mixture with beautiful spices and tamarind etc. It is served room temp with rounds for scooping. We also had an order of Samosas which are vegetarian and were spectacular. The sauce was a wonderful accompaniment. The Asian calamari salad was a winner with a fresh spring mix topped with a generous helping of delicately fried calamari cooked to perfection. We loved the dressing - and it was dressed nicely - not swimming in dressing but just enough to coat everything. The lemongrass crab bisque was all that and then some. Filled with crab and a creamy spiced base that I had for my dinner. Hints of coconut cake through in the bisque but didn't overpower the other flavors. It was so delicious and a lovely bowl sized portion. Those with more ambitious appetites at the table had a chicken vindaloo that was amazing. The blend of spices and the fresh tomato flavor really worked well. Nice heat level - definitely spices but not so spicy that you can't taste all of the flavors. Another person had the chicken tikka masala - a very generous portion of this traditional dish. It was seasoned but not spicy - and the chicken was so tender. Last and certainly not least, the saag paneer was an excellent rendition of this famous dish. Everyone at the table loved it. We ordered as second bottle of wine and round of drinks after the meal and were allowed to linger leisurely. As we saw more people come in we closed out so that they could turn the table but we were assured multiple times it wasn't necessary. This place should be on your list for a casual lovely meal with friends.

Yelp
We came here with a friend who had a recommendation from a friend. I do not like spicy, but my husband does! My husband and friend like the Samosas, but for me too spicy. I had the Five Spiced Rubbed Duck Breast * Port plum reduction, garlic mashed potatoes! I do not eat duck except at a fine dining restaurant or on a cruise. This was DELICIOUS! The duck was cooked perfectly! I could have had more sauce with it since it added the nice flavors to the dishes. Highly recommend! My husband had the Shrimp Vindaloo (Spicy curry sauce from the west coast of India) served over basmati rice.the vindaloo was not spicy enough and gave him extra curry to spice it up more to taste. He was not expecting WHOLE Shrimp. He says it is excellent excellent excellent! In all, nice dinner with a great friend ( and stuffed bellies)!

Yelp
Went to this place a couple of times the last two weeks of August 2021. The food is really good, had to have the lemongrass crab bisque a couple of times! The miss for me are things some could say are picky and others that are basic and can turn people off. Start with the good - Star of the show is the lemongrass crab bisque (truely amazing flavor) Second best thing on the menu white chocolate mango cheesecake (moaned while eating it) The other best thing are the people working here. I found them to be funny, engaging and very easygoing. This factor alone is a major step to success so kudos to the staff. What made me drop a star are things that seem basic to me and maybe some picky things. When I first got in I ordered sangria to start off. It was delicious... but hard to look at. I used to be a bartender and basic things like fresh garnish is mandatory. My drink came with a slice of orange on top of my drink like a lid and the straw through the middle of the orange slice. I could forgive the plop it and stick it with a straw effort, but the orange slice was withered and dried. It looked to be a few days old and on top of that left out the few days... not a good look. This was a major turn off and I almost paid and left. Garnishes should be cut only a few hours before use and stored properly to remain fresh. It was lazy and told me someone doesn't really care. If someone made a choice to serve that, what are other things like that I cannot see? I ordered the coolinary menu paired with wine plus an extra wing appetizer. My wings arrived and within 30 seconds my next course arrived arrived but without the wine pairing. I would not have complained but the bisque was cold. It had to go back. It was perfect when it came back and with wine pairing but please pay attention to multiple course meals and timing...those kind of meals are an experience to some, and not to be rushed. You certainly don't pile up courses on a person at once. The duck and the mango cheese cake did come at perfect timings and were delicious. The just being picky part- A note to the kitchen. Your food is better than just good, now put a little bit of effort into the platting of your dishes. Everything here looks so one note and no effort above minimum... even if it does taste great. Over and over I watch food come out to other tables and it is the same disc of rice cake sticking out of the food and/or three dots of hot sauce on the rim of the plates. If you put something on the plate to elevate the dish then it should elevate the dish or leave it off. Why a disc of fried rice cake in every dish, what does it add. Nothing but a look? Give me a garnish that looks good and actually goes with that dish. Sprinkle a little extra crab on top the plated bisque with a sprig of cilantro and not three dots of HS again. It needs no extra heat it is perfect. Three dots and fried rice cake disc on everything??? Come on. Check out the pictures from everyone and tell me I lie. Even with the bad and the picky, this place is already good. They have good people, good food, and a nice clean environment. Now if they only cared enough to go to the next level of making things great... get your reservations!!! I would still go there again.

Yelp
The food is awesome! We had two appetizers, eggplant+tomato and falafel+hummus. Both were divine, especially the eggplant. Really friendly staff, they allowed us to move inside mid-neal when we got cold outside. Clever full length sneeze guards between tables for covid. Our mains were falafel platter and vegan kebab. Both portions were huge and extremely tasty! Nice wine selection, well priced.

Yelp
The crab cake was phenomenal! Wanted the crawfish egg rolls but they were out of them.... Will come back to try. Atmosphere is very cute. Tons of liquor and wine to choose from.

Yelp
It's a new business in a long-loved place, which can be a recipe for disaster when the new operation doesn't level up with the old memories, but no worries here. Grace has knocked it out of the park, and the locals love her for it... and we do, too!

Yelp
What a great local bar and restaurant! There's also a wine store and tasting room/event space. Stopped by for a cocktail. Happy hour is 2-6 when drinks are $7. Their food is great too. The crab cake and egg rolls were popular. Chickpeas were like Chana masala and yummy. Bartender was great as well.

Yelp
Always wanted to try this place and since it's coolinary month, decided to try it out. Appetizer - Chicken Kabob - Delicious and flavorful Entree - Prawn dish - delicious and flavorful as well (be prepared to get your hands dirty peeling the shrimp) Dessert - Mango cheesecake - light, fluffy, and you can taste the mango! I'll definitely be back again to try more things!
