Counting Down the Best Restaurants in Marietta | Eater Atlanta

"With its cozy, tiled interior and thoughtfully crafted tapas menu (not to mention more than 40 Spanish wines), Silla del Toro offers a taste of Spain right on Marietta Square. Chef Scott Kinsey’s small plates, like golden croquetas jamon, smoky patatas bravas, tender pinchos, and briny garlic shrimp, are all served with a convivial spirit. The bar leans into the experience with sangria flights and build-your-own gin and tonics. Brunch is equally as lively with hearty staples like Spanish omelettes served with morning-approved cocktails like a coffee-infused Spanish Old Fashioned. Silla del Toro also has locations in Roswell and Toco Hills." - Sarah Bisacca

This place was amazing. Excellent environment great for any occasion. Quality of the food timely service and we were fortunate to get one of the best servers we've had ever. SAM was amazing in every way. This guy is a top-tier professional and super nice. We definitely look forward to coming back to this location bringing friends and we will certainly ask for SAM to be our server. Every one of the other servers that we came across or did anything for us was great as well. Ownership / management thanks for a great experience and employing such quality top-tier professionals and providing an incredible dining experience. Y'all are awesome!!

I went to celebrate Mother's Day at the restaurant I discovered at Taste of Marietta two weeks ago. The presentation, taste and freshness of the dishes were incredible. Enrico was very kind to us and explained everything, it was our first time there. I enjoyed everything I ate and will definitely go back again. Thank you guys!

Google
The presentation of the food is very nice but the taste is a little bland to me. The price is ok for the individual small items but for the share portion…it is too little compared to the other tapas restaurants. The service is exceptional..

Food and drinks have been consistently great. Staff are friendly and welcoming for folks without reservations (like us). We had the whole red snapper, skirt steak and mussels - all were superior! Our cocktails were a perfect addition!

Google
Our first time at this restaurant, and it was simply exceptional! My husband and I were both delighted. The drinks were spectacular, and the tapas had a beautiful presentation. Last but not least, the service was outstanding, Bautista was our server, and he did an amazing job. We can’t wait for summer to sit outside and bring our pet!

Quick & friendly service. Sangria flight was refreshing and not too sweet. Definitely try the steak skewers and calamari.

Went here for drinks on Saturday evening and can’t wait to come back for dinner. The staff was so friendly, and the bartenders were amazing. This place is perfect for any occasion! The food looked incredible, and the espresso martini I had was delicious. Highly recommend!

Google
The food was mediocre at best. Bland steaks, undercooked foods, and had very small expensive servings. The worst part was the way of eating, but that isn't the restaurants fault. However, the restaurant did give our party of 6 a small table, which was a blunder on their part. The service was very nice. Each server was kind and did their job well. Atmosphere was as good as expected. Overall a mediocre experience, much can be better. Wouldn't come again.

Yelp
Food incredible, Service by Enrique was very good. Ambiance, quiet enough to have conversation at table. $$ we were thrilled with our check. We will be back!!!

Yelp
Took a group of girls for a going away party for college. They set us at the chef's table in the back and Shawn and Israel made this evening one of the best. Travel the country and was blessed to have this attn to detail.

Yelp
Had dinner last week. We were greeted quickly, and ordered some drinks - a dirty martini and Flamenco Tune. I usually stay away from sweeter drinks, but this one had a good balance of acidity as well. We were very hungry, so we ordered white a few tapas. Croquettes Jamon - the texture was weird, and I could not taste any jamon. Pinchos - the steak was cooked on the rarer side which we didn't mind. The sauces paired well. No complaints. Spanish Sardines - this one was better than expected. Ensalada Espanola - yum. I loved this salad so much. The perfect size and the dressing was delicious. Bocadillo de Jamon y Queso - I wanted something with bread and I thought this very much served its purpose. Comes with what seems like the same aioli as the croquettes which wasn't bad. Mussels - very rich broth. The mussels were nice and plump. I have no complaints, but I can't say anything blew me away. The manager mentioned that there was a birthday at our table (which was mine) when we were being sat, but nothing else was mentioned throughout our dinner. Unsure if they do anything for birthdays in case that's what you're celebrating when you decide to dine here.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing restaurant. I took my friend here for her birthday dinner. Just a small little something. Restaurant is beautifully decorated. Not really big inside. Very intimate just the way I like it. The staff was so nice and very informative. The manager and my waiter gave a lot of great information. This is a traditional Spanish tapas restaurant. So small plates with a peck big flavor. My friend and I shared everything and here's what we got. * Calamari, lamb, chops, chicken, empanadas, shrimp, paella, two cocktails each (one Prado, daisy, and one trader's share each) and finished up with the butter toffee cake. So we got all that food and 4 drinks for $140. I highly recommend checking this place out. I know they also have another location that has just opened out towards North Druid Hills area. I definitely give this a 10 out of 10!

Yelp
Delicious Tapas restaurant. Excellent food, drinks and service. Went with a group of 10. Separate checks no problem. Crispy calamari and more. Try the Sangria flight.

Yelp
This is my first time here but not my last. I sat at the bar with Cody as my bartender , he's so hilarious every thing I ask him he say that his favorite. I guess everything is so delicious here. I had the Pan con Tomate and the grilled skirt steak, it was so delicious and tender. It just melts in your mouth.

Yelp
We came here to celebrate our anniversary in a chill way on a Wednesday night It was around 6pm and only a couple other tables. They aren't big so only have room for I think 10 or less tables at a time They had a ton of staff just hanging out around the front so that was a bit awkward but maybe they get busy later in the day We got the: paella (serves 2): this was pretty good... The rice was cooked well & there was plenty of protein in the dish for its size. It wasn't the best paella we've had but it was decent. Octopus: this is a very small portion .. easily 4 bites ish but it was tasty esp with the pickled onions! The beans was an interesting side dish but they tasted good on the side Empanadas: these were quite large, crispy on the outside and very flavorful! Nice, savory with plenty of filling. This may have been our favorite of the entrees Tres leches: very moist cake, very sweet, perfect size to share when you've got just a little room left. Not too heavy even being a creamy cake so I really liked this item I'm not really sure what dishes were actually Spanish vs fusion dishes but I heard a lot of people talking about the eggplant during their meals so that might be the thing to try here! The staff were super attentive, not chatty but came quickly to check up. Although I do think the bartender talked to the people at the bar quite a bit. Rest of the place was pretty quiet so that kinda gave me library shh vibes Parking in the square was a breeze this night and we got a spot very close for this pregnant lady to waddle over haha They recommend to start with 4 tapas and that seemed the right amount of food for us + a dessert My husband got the cookie dough Old fashioned & it smelled like a cookie to me. He said it had an "interesting" cookie after taste. The ice looked nice in it but no other aesthetic garnish. Lol I kinda feel like it should've had a chocolate chip cookie with it truth be told Overall, it was ok but probably won't be a regular spot

Yelp
Found this gem during a taco and tequila crawl and fell in love. If you live in the Marietta area... trust me, you want to try this place. Excellent service, and the food was amazing. I would suggest making reservations because they can fill up fast. We enjoyed the paella, which does take some time, but it's worth it! It's fresh, hot, and full of flavor. We also had the calamari, a pitcher of white sangria, steak skewers, and they version of bruchetta. It loved it because it came with this garlic paste, hard parmesan cheese, and tomato spread. The overall vibe of the restaurant is laid back and casual. They offer sangria, wine, and whiskey flights for the drinking connoisseur.
google avatar

Christina K.

Yelp
I got the octopus and the paella! The octopus was phenomenal, I could've eaten so much of it! The beans that it comes with are also pretty good. I think the paella could've been better. It was really greasy at the bottom and the chicken was kind of dry. They didn't really give that much seafood so I think it was pretty overpriced for what it was honestly. The service was really good though! It was a good experience but I wouldn't choose to come back here again

Yelp
Great tapas place right on Marietta Square. I had a glass of Rioja Riserva that was great, the gazpacho, the pinchos that were great flavor and very tender, and croquettes jamon. Great kitchen and great service at the bar.

Kofi T.

Yelp
very good fresh tasting food with great flavor combinations. Loved their tapas, and their toasted baguette were simple but delicious. I'd recommend you order multiple tapas end then mix and match them. My biggest gripe with the restaurant is that their prices are a bit on the high size for the amount of food you get. It's all lovely but definitely hurts the bank a little.

Yelp
I've been wanting to come here ever since I spotted it on my last venture to Marietta Square, and thankfully I was in the area! I went on a Thursday at 7:00 without a reservation, but my friend and I were able to snag a table outside. We started off with the Sangria flights. We went from light to dark which was the perfect choice as we started with one that was light and refreshing and finished off with fruity delight! I wish I took pictures of our food, but we were way too busy inhaling them! Here is what we ordered: Pulpo Parilla: The octopus was grilled to perfection (using a sous-vide made all the difference imo)!! It was beautifully seasoned as well as the cannellini beans. Gambas Al Ajillo: I mean this is an absolute tapas staple! I order this almost every time I'm at tapas restaurant. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the garlic oil was just amazing. Thankfully it came with bits of toasted bread that we totally dipped into that oil (highly recommend doing this if you order it!) Spanish Style Mac + Cheese: I wanted a bit of comfort food, and boy did this deliver! It was full of creamy goodness, and we absolutely loved the addition of the chorizo. Mussels: I'm always a sucker for some mussels, so I almost always order these at tapas restaurants as well. These are green mussels, so you get plenty of meat. Also, the white wine butter sauce was absolutely to die for! This also came with some toasted bread, so we dipped it into the sauce and never looked back! Service: Our server was extremely sweet and made sure that everything was to our liking (and it sure was!). I definitely plan on coming back to try their other dishes!

Yelp
I'm from San Diego and in the area for a work trip. I found this place and oh my I'm soooo happy I did! Food was delicious! Wine was amazing! Cody at the bar was delightful. I had the pinchos, ensalada, Spanish mac & cheese and the fried potatoes and I was in heaven. Absolutely recommend if you're in the area looking for tapas. Would give them a 6th star if I could because everyone was so friendly and welcoming.
google avatar

PaShawnae L.

Yelp
Nice and quaint on the inside, there's not a lot of seating available, so please make a reservation. The plate sizes are really good, I read about the paella and a steak and as I was walking in, someone stopped me to recommend the steak and I was not disappointed. The paella is extremely flavorful, I mean extremely flavorful and it is enough for two. It looks small, but it's very filling and packs a lot of flavor. We stuck with a lemon drops for the evening, and they did not disappoint, the service top tier, the ambience is nice, but it is loud because it's small and seating is close but there's truly no complaints.
google avatar

Yelp
Simply put: the food here is incredible. Our group of 6 tried just about everything on the menu. The sharing options are endless. Notably: try the octopus and the croquettes! You WON'T be disappointed. The service was wonderful. They pulled some strings to get us seated immediately, and our waiter was so knowledgeable and friendly. We will absolutely be returning! Pro tip: try their smoked old fashioned and/or their espresso martini
google avatar

Yelp
5 stars! We went here for brunch today, weather was amazing so we sat outside. We started with olives and tortilla, both were very good... we then had the lamb, beef and croquettes jamon, all were excellent! Great flavors, I would like to have tried the escalivada but hubby doesn't like eggplant. That will be my first choice next time. Hubs also had the espresso martini... twice... so I guess it was good! All around a very pleasant Sunday afternoon people watching, eating great food and good drinks! We will be back!

Yelp
I haven't been to Marietta Square in a long time so I didn't know this place existed! It's a Spanish tapa restaurant but they also have a brunch menu for the weekend, which I had. So we ordered the steak & eggs and the torrija Española(french toast). Both were so delicious. The french toast was so addicting, thick, and not too sweet or dry. Steak & eggs was very flavorful. We tried the sangria flight which was a great experience We also ordered a tapa plate which was the Spanish Style Mac + Cheese. I really enjoyed this because the flavor was so good. The only is that it's not very cheesy. I really enjoyed the food here, but the atmosphere was also very nice and pretty. The service was fast and friendly. Enjoy ;) -IG: travelfoodie_ishy

Yelp
It's across from Marietta Pizza Co. On the other corner. There was street parking the night we came. We sat at the bar & our bartender was wonderful. I can't recall his name but it has a Biblical connection and he's from S. America. Pan Con Tomate grilled bread, needs more cheese; that's garlic on the side, not cheese as my husband found out the hard way lol. Meatballs could've used more seasoning. They forgot (& so did we) our meatballs but the bartender went and had them bring them. I told him they could cxcl it but he went and got them. The the cheese stuffed bacon wrapped dates are one of my faves at tapas restaurants and they didn't disappoint. The shrimp were large and flavorful. The potatoes weren't what I was expecting; different version here than what I'm accustomed to, but they weren't bad. I usually have them diced with an aioli on the side, not wedges with sauce on top. The old fashioned was smoked & was a great addition to the meal. I look forward to returning earlier in the evening; we arrived about an hour before closing.

Yelp
We had a wonderful evening in Spain, on the corner of Ma Square. Intimate evening with a very creative, authentic Tapas menu. And...you must give 'build your own 'Gin & Tonic' a test drive. Sean, the weekend mgr, gave me a tour through the choices of Spanish gins, tonic type, bitter type, and spices. My Gin Mare, Mediterranean Tonic, Juniper berries, lime, and mint was the best G&T I've ever enjoyed. And as I sipped joyfully, we explored the menu and ordered Spanish olives (my wife ate more than half and she rarely enjoys olives by themselves) and Marcona almonds. We then got phenomenal Tortilla Española (the most delicate, lightest thin layers of potato and onions I've ever eaten); fried Spanish Sardines (a must!), Pan con tomato, and brilliantly prepared Turner mussels. We often try mussels (which rarely differ in taste and texture) and again, Silla's focus on authentic Spanish flavors and ingredients also made these mussels stand out as an amazing dish. You must, must, must give Silla de Toro a try! Definitely get a reservation on the peak hours. If it's a date night, call and ask for the couples table up front. It's perfect. Most comfortable wing back chairs that create a visual intimacy AND an audible convo 'zone' eliminating the white noise around you both. Obviously we will return whenever in Marietta. Already cannot wait.

Yelp
This is a wonderful date night or special night out with spouse restaurant, when you want both conversation and a somewhat lively but almost boutique ambiance. It's hard to get a reservation and I'd struck out several times when I'd try. I'd told my wife about it and we'd decided to take a 4:30 reservation option then just ease into the evening, which is exactly what we ended up doing. We also opted not to sit at a table but rather up at the bar (which has limited seating) and we did so in order to see all the dishes coming out of the kitchen. Everything we ordered, and since we were there for a couple of hours we ordered quite a lot, was delicious and only the bacon wrapped dates were not to my liking...they were extremely rich and of course that can be the case with that dish. Otherwise, a great evening with great food and a friendly staff. We'll go back, even if before 5pm is the only way to do so.

Yelp
What a cute date night spot in Marietta Square! We went on a Tuesday, and were surprised by half priced wine night. The food was great and at a decent price. Everyone was super attentive and helpful guiding our experience.

Yelp
We stopped into Silla Del Toro for tapas and drinks with friends. They didn't have any reservations available, so we sat at the bar. I have heard mixed reviews about this spot on the Marietta Square, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was very happy we gave it a try! I enjoyed the dishes we tried. I have a few favorite Spanish tapas after having them a few years back on a trip to Spain, so I always have to order those. We ordered the following dishes: - Tortilla Española (so yummy) - Croquettes Jamon (good) - Empanadas (really good) - Paella (really good) I ordered the sangria flight. I liked all three of the flavors, and they were different for me! The pricing is to be expected. It's a nicer, date night kind of place for us. We will definitely be back! I only wish I would have tried Silla Del Toro sooner.

Evan H.

Yelp
Service was great! Ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant was also great! However in my opinion the food was just average. We had the sardines and it was okay. The paella was also pretty bland and flavorless.

Yelp
We came around 6:50 pm on a Friday in July without a reservation. When we entered, we were told that we would have to wait until 8 pm for indoor seating or could be immediately seated outside. Since the weather was good, we didn't mind sitting outside. We were asked to wait a little. My friend and I used the bathroom, and when we came back, the host asked us if we wanted the VIP treatment. We were confused by what he meant, but he explained that there was an empty table in the back that was very nice that we could sit at called the Chef's Table. Since we preferred inside, we said yes. The table was quite big and definitely stood out from the others. Our server explained to us that since we were at the chef's table, we would be getting complimentary olive & almonds (which is a $9 dish). The tapas were overall really good! Only thing that was a bit half half for the price was the paella. The rice was too mushy for my liking. The cocktails were all good minus the sangria which tasted a bit watered down. Checking the receipt, it said "owner comp," so I guess the man who sat us was the owner! He gave us a nice table and a free dish. Can't complain!
google avatar

Melita T.

Yelp
Cute tapas spot at Marietta Square! While I enjoyed the food, I subtracted a star for service. One of the bartenders (the only woman behind the bar) needs to work on their service. I also don't like when bartenders do not service in the order of who sat down first. She was extremely rude while taking our order. Not listening, making drinks (distracted), and then asking us to reconfirm our order. How about you stop what you're doing until you can give two seconds of your undivided attention to take the order? The man behind the bar was extremely pleasant and we would've rather had service from him. Aside from that, the selections were tasty! I highly recommend the patatas bravas and chicken empanadas! If churros are an option for dessert, do not hesitate! I wasn't crazy about the toast and garlic paste? It was just OK. All in all, we will be back to try other items from the menu but will avoid the bar.
google avatar

Huie N.

Yelp
One of my fave tapas place in Marietta, located in the square at the corner by the Marietta pizza joint. I've been here twice and I my second go around was the one to bump my review up to 5 stars. I visited on Sunday around 1 pm and liked that it was busy but still quiet enough to enjoy an intimate and calm lunch. Good ambience, our host was attentive. The food was delicious. With all of that combined I think it warranted the 5 stars from me. I also got the mussels(not pictured) my recommendations are the pinchos, gambas, mussels, and pulpo
google avatar

Lauren B.

Yelp
The GM Sean, greeted us when we walked in for our reservation. Very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. They have the option of making your own gin & tonic cocktail along with a selection of other spirits, all very good and unique. Food was amazing, service was great and atmosphere was just right. The bar is first come first serve but would make a reservation for the weekends as it's not a huge space but just enough. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
This was my first time trying Tapas and it was quite an experience! I decided to come here with a couple of friends and we all ordered drinks and about 2-3 tapas a person. Even though the restaurant looks very fancy and high scale, the prices were quite affordable! For the four of us, our bill came out to around $120 for 10 tapas and a drink per person. To start off, the three of us got the Sangria flights and another one of my friends ordered the Prado Daisy. I was a huge fan of the white and pink sangria since I like sweeter drinks but the red one was also quite nice! The drinks overall weren't overly sweet but had a nice balance of alcohol in there. I tried a sip of the Prado Daisy and it was really refreshing and highly recommend if you like tequila! For the tapas we went with: Patatas Bravas: Very crispy potatoes with an ample amount of spices. The aioli served on top was a nice touch to the dish Gambas al Ajillo: This was one of my favorite shrimp dishes I have ever had. The balance of garlic and other spices made it super refreshing Tortilla Española: This was my first time trying an omelette with potatoes and its such an interesting dish! I wish there was more spices but I ended up topping it with the romesco sauce from another dish. Empanadas: My favorite dish from the night! The empanadas were light and not overly greasy and the chicken had a good amount of flavor. I liked pairing the romesco sauce with it as well. Bocadillo de Jamon y Queso: Classic ham and cheese sandwich but I will say I am a huge fan of the manchego cheese! It was quite flavorful and paired well with the aioli Pulpo Parrilla: I have never had octopus before but decided to try it and am glad I did! This is apparently one of their signature dishes and tends to sell out fast so make sure to order it! The octopus was well seasoned and as an added bonus came with potatoes and beans on the side Spanish Sardines: This dish was okay. I liked how it wasn't too greasy and love the grilled lemon that came on the side to squeeze onto the dish that made it refreshing. Manchego stuffed Dates wrapped with Bacon: Also another one of my favorite dishes! I would recommend saving this for the end since it is a bit more on the dessert side. Even though the dates are stuffed with manchego cheese, it isn't overly heavy and the bacon was super crispy! Pan Con Tomate: A Spanish twist on Bruschetta! I like how it came disassembled on the plate and was quite a fan that they included an ample amount of garlic on there that added to the overall taste. Escalivada: We wanted to get a dish that was a little heavy on vegetables and this did not disappoint. I love how the vegetables were cooked to perfection and paired really well with the romesco sauce. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this place if you are in Marietta Square! I cannot wait to come back on a weekend and try their Paella as well as their brunch. One tip I have is do make a reservation ahead of time since it gets busy.

Julia R.

Yelp
Super cute spanish tapa place! I'm super picky about my tapas but this place does a nice job at adding their twist to traditional Spanish food. The chuletas, croquetas and dates were the best. Israel took care of us and he was so kind and knowledgeable, even brought some water for my puppy. We will reccomend this place and return whenever we are visiting marietta again!
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent service, food, and drinks! My second time here and I wasn't disappointed. We had the muscles, steak, gazpacho, and calamari. So yummy.

Nadia A.

Yelp
We've tried a few different tapas places in/around Atlanta and Silla Del Toro did not disappoint! It's pretty small so a reservation is a must! Located right on the square so it's an awesome date spot as well. They didn't have availability online, but I was able to call and get a reservation. We had a few tapas and actually got the Paella to go. It was DELICIOUS! The Patatas Bravas (a classic) was yummy. Gambas Al Ajillo portion was smaller than I've had in some other places but super flavorful! Pinchos were cooked to perfection and the chimichurri sauce that it comes with was amazing! The Spanish Mac was my favorite! A unique take in mac & cheese. Drinks were delicious and service was great as well! I would 100% go back to try what our stomachs couldn't fit this round.

Yelp
Found the restaurant through Yelp as I often do when I'm traveling for work. Highly rated and centrally located on the Marietta square. It's a small but very quaint place. Was greeted by the manager Bill. What a gem! The restaurant was full, but he kindly offered a cocktail on the house. Gru, the bar tender nailed my cocktail. Made it so much better, as I waited for a seat at the bar. Once seated, the culinary journey began. A delicious journey I might add. All the tapas on the menu sounded amazing. Had a hard time deciding what to try. Started with the bacon wrapped dates stuffed with manchego cheese. Super fresh and the Romesco sauce to die for. Next stop were the New Zealand mussels with pickled onion. Out of the park delicious. Last tapa was the jamón ibérico and manchego croquetas. Smooth and delicious inside nice and crispy on the outside. Order usually come with 5, but they adjusted to 2 for me. I will definitely be back for the food, vibe and service. A Marietta gem for sure.

Yelp
Finally got to stop in for dinner tonight. They have quite a few patio tables for nice spring nights. The inside is small, but they do a good job maximizing space without feeling cramped or unsafely close. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Cocktails were yum! I started with the Traders something which is a gin cocktail. I don't like gin but I like this. And then I had the smoked old fashioned, which they call something Midnight. We also had the sangria flight. Decent pours for the flights. All were good. The white was my fav, and I don't like white wine. Best thing is the cocktail prices weren't insane. Food was yummy. No complaints. Nothing was out of this world, but everything was as expected. Like I said, I have no complaints. Will definitely come back.

Maria Theresa E.

Yelp
They have good tapas and wide selection of drinks and cocktails. The staff are friendly and accommodating and attentive. Nice place.

Yelp
What a great place that I never knew about! We had a book club meeting and girls night out here. I loved that even though the place is small, it feels private and not loud. The server was attentive, the owner was super nice, and the food was fabulous. We got the meatballs, empanadas, shrimp, Mac and cheese, and dates. For dessert we got the churros. Lots of fun drink options too. I'm looking forward to coming back for a date night!

Yelp
Very welcoming and nice servers. The steak skewers and potatoes were the best. My Apple martini was excellent. The tapas came fast and hot.

Things started off a little rocky, but this place redeemed itself quickly. They were ultra accommodating and the food and drinks were great. This place has an ambience perfect for date night, or catching up with a friend. I ordered the white sangria and the dates. I love Spanish dates and these were great. The sangria didn't taste like what I had in Barcelona. It was a tad bit sweet. So I wouldn't say that this was authentic but they also have a red and a blush option. I will try this next time. This is perfect place to come with a friend and try several tapas. They even have wine flights.I think the staff is Spanish as well! I will definitely come back.

Yelp
We wanted to try Silla del Toro, and we're very glad we did. The food, drinks, and service were amazing. This was exactly what I would have expected from the owners, two skilled and experienced restaurateurs. Next time someone says "Want to try Silla?" I'll say "Yes!" faster than a drunken cheerleader. On prom night.

Yelp
This review is for brunch only! I would like to first say I wanted to try the brunch here because I enjoyed the dinner service. The brunch/dinner felt like night and day! I ordered the steak and eggs and French toast. I was informed that the steak would not be overcooked/chew, it was and bland. The eggs came cold and the French toast was not cooked all the way through, very wet inside. It would of been nice for the server to care but no, we paid the full bill and I left the food on the table. It was not good enough to pack it to-go. There are so many options for brunch here in GA and they just don't seem like the goal is to have a great brunch menu/service. It feels like they are doing it just to have one. It's not as intentional as the dinner menu/service.

Yelp
This place! We called in the Saturday before Valentine's Day for a makeup birthday dinner for my best friend. Doubting very much they could get us in. The manager Sean was amazing. He not only got us a table, but sat us at the perfect table for our very loud group of ladies on a rare night out without our kids. He sat us so quickly and made sure throughout that we were taken care of. Our server Sophie (if it's Sophia I am SO SORRY) was adorable. She put up with us and kept up with us perfectly (we were very needy). She had great recommendations for everything we asked. We tried a little bit of everything and I have to say it was all excellent. The kitchen even brought out a complimentary plate for us to try! They could tell we like to eat! The ambiance is the PERFECT place for a date night so I definitely want to come back. The lighting is great, very dim and the "chef's table" provides the perfect amount of privacy. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Which I questioned when I realized it was the old Subway! The staff all the way from the front to the back was the best. They make the place even better. I can't thank you all enough for making our evening so much fun. I hope we made yours fun too and weren't too much trouble. We'll see you again soon!

Yelp
The food is Perfecto!! Gambas, Pulpo, Lamb Chops, Charcuterie Boards and Bacon Wrapped Dates, to name a few! The Calamari is some of the best I've ever tasted!! The service is extremely personal guiding us through the menu and suggesting tapas. The cocktails are Fantastic! Great selections along with the huge wine menu featuring wines from Spain, Argentina and Chile. The choice of beverage flights are outstanding including a wine flight and sangria flight. They feature weekend brunch, specialty dinners and wine tasting often!! The restaurant itself is intimate and has an extremely charming ambiance. I recommend to make a reservation online or call to secure a table since it always seems to be busy. You can always sit at the bar or at the outside patio tables. Silla Del Toro is a must stop when visiting Marietta Square!!!

Yelp
I have eaten at Silla Del Toro Marietta many times and its one of the best dining experiences I have ever had - the food is clean & exciting; the ambience was refreshingly approachable and unpretentious! The restaurant is owned by a dynamic husband & wife team Scotty & Alexis Kinsey. It is run by a passionate GM Sean Kopcho and his equally passionate team who understand that it's all about you having a wonderful stress-free time where you can relax and enjoy the flavors of Spain. Sean and his team gave my wife Christina and I an incredible dining experience. We ate these fabulous New Zealand TURNER Mussel, clean chemical-free TURNER Calamari unlike all the chinese chemical processed calamari that other restaurants serve, and the New Zealand TURNER Lamb chops were to die for, absolutely deliciously magnificent!

Yelp
We had a great lunch here. We recently spent a week in Barcelona and it reminded us of being back there. The calamari was exceptional -- probably the best I've ever had. The tortilla and salad are excellent. The sardines were good as well. You have to try a gin and tonic. They are fantastic. Also, the service from Jude was really good.

Yelp
Our new favorite, can't recommend enough! Loved the build your own Gin & Tonics, tapas were all A+, and our server Israel was spot on with recommendations and impeccable attention to every detail. Can't wait to go back!!

Yelp
Very elegant restaurant with traditional Spanish tapas. The set up of this restaurants is so beautiful! It is small, so I would recommend making a reservation. Everything we tried was delicious, from the pomegranate cranberry martini, all the way to the cream brûlée cheesecake and everything in between. My favorite tapa was the bacon wrapped dates. Their ham croquettes were a wow! This is a great place to take a date & score big points! Service was fenomenal. We will definitely be back!
