Chula Elotes Street Corn Food Cart Opens in Portland, Maine | Eater Boston

"A decades-old local restaurant whose operator announced closure to focus on family matters; the owner sold the building and closed a related vegan concept earlier, while leaving open the possibility of returning in a different form in the future." - Dana Hatic

Food is very good, but some items, such as the rice and beans and falafel, are overdone or inundated with spices. The prices are reasonable depending on what you order. There is a full beer/cocktail selection and an extensive brunch menu. Seating can be cramped and the lighting is dim at times

Everyone wanted to go to Silly's, but we didn't go and all of our order was made wrong, twice. On the third day: We went to Silly's and all of our food was prepared perfectly, served hot, tasted amazing, and looked even better! Great stuff. I'm sure I will be going here far more often due to the quality of this visit.

YUM. If you’re in Portland don’t miss this spot! They have such goooood vegan options. I got the tofu scramble and i asked them to add vegan cheese and it was some of the best vegan cheeses using also I got a piece of the vegan mint chocolate cake and it was literally heaven

Sillys, as I told my friend is a legendary place in Portland Maine. All the locals know it. They have a great variety of well throughout dishes (with crazy names too), that will impress anyone -- including me and I have been rating hundreds of places for 6 years now. My experience at silly's can be described as interesting but from a good usage of that word point of view. They do a bottle of champagne to share with friends where you can choose 4 different juices to go with it and a liquor, which makes the whole brunching experience on sundays go to the next level ! DEFINETELY check this place out as you won't regret any second of your visit here.

The service was great and the food came out very quick. I got the kicken chicken and it was great. The fried chicken was crunchy and covered in a savory gravy with eggs. Would recommend.

Great food, and about half the menu is vegan or vegetarian! The vegan Mac and cheese was really good, better then most I’ve had. Also they serve meat options so everybody can be happy. Highly suggest this place!

The absolute best Vegan brunch one could ever imagine. If you are a Vegan visiting the Portland area you would be a fool not make this a mandatory stop. Also you will never find better home fries than the ones at Silly's.

Great brunch spot with excellent build-your-own bloodys and good mimosa deals. My favorite so far has been the Kickn' Chicken.
