Came with the family for brunch while visiting Arlington. The food was really good, great flavor, their new location is awesome. On the other hand, the service very disappointing, our waiter was non-existent, saw him once when he took our order and one more time when we got his attention for more coffee, and to let him know about the soup that never came. He never once checked on us….

Friendly fast service.. Mama D was super sweet. food was great. Nothing id absolutely RAVE over, but was a solid brunch before a day exploring museums.. campfire shake was great AND you get the shaker with the extra milkshake, which refilled the empty glass fully...

I enjoyed dining at Silver Diner. The food was delicious, with a great selection of entrees. The servers were friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was comfortable—not cramped like other high-end diners. One area for improvement would be the kids' meals. The options are limited, and the portions aren't as generous compared to Ted’s. Overall, we loved the experience and have already returned twice. We’re looking forward to going back again soon

We love Silver Diner and have visited various northern Virginia locations for breakfast whenever possible. This morning, we decided to try the one in Arlington, and our dining experience was fantastic, as always. The restaurant has a nice retro diner feel with vintage-style illustrated posters, lighting fixtures, furniture, floor tiles, and other details throughout the interior. Our server, Said, provided excellent service. He was very amiable and checked on our table often to see if we needed anything else, making our dining experience extraordinary. The food was excellent. The turmeric carrot juice felt healthy, while the peach iced tea was freshly brewed and perfect. The corned beef with egg and nitrate-free bacon was filling and savory, and the Hickory Smokehouse cheddar burger was juicy and tasty. It was a great combination of sweetness from caramelized onions and BBQ sauce and saltiness from cheddar and bacon, which was mouth-watering. Our breakfast at Silver Diner was fantastic, and we loved every aspect.

Google
Our server, Said, was lovely. We were in town to pick up my little brother and decided to get brunch. Safe to say, we will definitely come back next time we are in the area. He was incredibly kind with order adjustments, thoughtful with suggestions when we asked for recommendations, and made the entire experience pleasant. The food was delicious as well. My dad loved the biscuit and gravy. The rest of us got the lamb shakshouka, omelette, steak & eggs, and corned beef hash & eggs. The atmosphere was lively and great for larger groups. Thank you very much for being a highlight of our time in Arlington.

Try the dairy free milkshake! Haven't had a milkshake in years because I couldn't handle the diary. This one was delicious (Mocha Cold Brew) Also got the oatmilk protein pancakes - highly recommend!

Yelp
Clean, friendly staff - comfortable seating. Very family friendly Menu has good variety - something for everyone Tomato soup was fine (not earth shattering and not worth almost $9/bowl) Shrimp Bibimbap was nice size portion, good flavors - would get again

Yelp
Shocked by the lower reviews because I enjoyed this place! The waiter couldn't have been nicer and he even made a delicious latte with a heart on top. My French toast was yummy and wasn't drenched in salted caramel which was nice. They also do egg whites which always adds a point in my book. I liked the diner aesthetic and felt like I traveled back in time but not in a bad way. I'll be back!

Yelp
This place has an expansive menu, and I sat at the bar because it was packed. I finally decided to order blueberry pancakes with maple sausage with eggs over easy and a side of toast, and a hot coffee. The coffee was very hot (perfect), the eggs were done perfectly, but the pancakes and sausage were SO dry! It took me a few bites to realize that my pancakes had no blueberries, and if they did, maybe they'd be a little less dry. I don't know that I'd be back here for breakfast or otherwise.

Yelp
Very aesthetically pleasing this meal was! It also had a pretty pleasing taste too. I took the top slice off of the bottom one to better disperse the sweet sauce and apples. The French toast itself was perfectly cooked and fluffy. The location is very ideal and the service was alright!

Yelp
This is our go to restaurant for post pickleball late evenings. Not many restaurants are open around 11 pm. They have so many options even that late in the evening. They also have specials. Do read the board when you enter. I ordered chicken pot pie from the specials. I have had other things such as bacon burger, ribs, wings etc. highly recommend their milkshakes as well. Oreo one is my favorite. Customer service can be slightly slow around that time depending on the number of servers they have. Sometimes they get large groups and it can be slow. Ambiance and pricing is great. Plenty of parking spots for free in their garage.

Yelp
Sadly, I have to drop a star after today's disappointing visit. Just like last time, the diner was practically empty, but the service was far from good. We sat at the counter, and our waiter had an attitude right from the start. It wasn't looking promising. After we ordered drinks, they arrived filled to the brim, spilling as soon as they hit the counter. The waiter walked off before giving us straws and seemed to disappear into thin air--we didn't see him anywhere. After waiting too long, we ended up going behind the counter to grab our own straws, which was ridiculous. Our food was done quickly, but the waiter was MIA again. Another server almost gave it to us, but out of nowhere, he reappeared to take over, which made things even more awkward. He was inattentive the whole time, and it took forever to get the check. Meanwhile, when we first sat down, someone was cleaning the counters where food gets passed over, but she was climbing on it with her shoes! Not sanitary at all. Out of all the Silver Diners in the area, this one ranks at the bottom. Another frustrating experience.

Yelp
Forgot to take photos. Food was good. Stopped to have a quick bite during a Friday. Wasn't busy at 4pm. Just missed lunch. There was plenty of waitstaff and we were promptly seated and welcomed. I ordered a lamb shakshuka, shrimp tacos and steak & eggs. A little pricey but tasty. The waitress was nice, attentive. The coffee was delicious and the cup was hefty - great if ur a two hand cup holder like myself. Sat at a booth and it was comfy n clean. Not exactly a traditional American diner experience... it's a bit more elevated than that but can still fine plenty of normal diner food. Vegan options aplenty I observed in the menu.

Yelp
This place does it all, diverse menu, tons of seating, and long hours. I like to take out of town guests here, because there is something for everyone. Gluten free options are labeled on the menu, and the staff is very educated regarding allergen questions. They keep your coffee filled and hit the spot with their classic diner food.

Yelp
This is a "diner" run (apparently) by people who don't know what the word "diner" means to most Americans. The coffee is horrible. I put 6 creamers in a cup and it barely turned color. Every sip was torture. Absolutely terrible. I don't know if they are purposely trying to make the coffee taste bad because that's what they think diner coffee is supposed to taste like or what, but it's bad. Honestly, Maxwell House would be better than whatever they are burning. Have you ever been somewhere where the menu cover was just a giant photo portrait of the chef? Like, how much of an ego do you have to have to not second-guess a draft review of the menu and consider making it about the business image I stead of yourself? Here's a tip: A diner is place where the "bar" area is where you sit to eat unless you need a booth for some reason. Bar first, booth second. Go to the bar and it's an ACTUAL BAR. Sit there to order breakfast and just inhale the fumes of liquor 6 feet from your face while you're trying to eat breakfast. Since when is a DINER, a bar? Diners serve simple food. That's what a diner is. Half the items on the menu are foodie-centric creations with ingredients that 75% of Americans wouldn't even know. So I go for the simplest thing I can. A "power breakfast". It comes out, egg whites somehow oily, but not in a good way. So much spinach it's a knarled oily blob on top. The "toast" is not "toasted", it's just warm and almost crispy, but if you dragged a butter knife across it, it wouldn't make a sound. Couldn't eat half of it before I completely just gave up on this whole business plan. The imagery is nice. The idea is great. But, dump the actual BAR behind the counter, simplify the menu to food that Americans actually think about when the word "DINER" is out front. Maybe add some hand spun milkshakes or something to offset the alcohol. Until then, I give this place 5 stars for imagery, and 1 star for being a diner, so I'll bump it up to 2 stars overall. Terrible food though.

Yelp
Came here for a quick breakfast, even though it was very busy we were seated almost instantly. Our waitress was nice and even though she had a lot of tables she still checked in and made sure I had a refill on my coke (even gave me a fresh one to go). The eggs were not my favorite but the chocolate chip pancakes were not overly sweet.

Yelp
Eeek, this place was convenient as it was walking distance from our hotel. However, that was likely the only positive. We were promptly seated on a Sunday around 10. However, our server lacked communication, timeliness and overall stellar experience. She was very difficult to understand. I know that seems silly, but when you have a child with a food allergy, communication is critical. Our order, specifically for my child with. A food allergy, was incorrect. Unfortunately she did not, would not correct, this error. I had to ask for a manager ... and we all know how that feels and the potential results. It's a cute place, with plenty of opportunity, but it lacks the basics- communication. I won't revise my child's meal because it was messed up from the start. (However kids menu price is perfect!) My eggs, ordered scrambled, were soft and runny. Not what I would have expected. I do not eat pork and asked that the ham be placed on a separate plate so my son could eat it. However it was served on my plate...My son who does eat pork said the ham was "gross." I wasn't impressed. I wouldn't return. Highly recommend you go around the corner and try something much more amazing; such as Ted's Bulletin-

Yelp
Summer cod still seems to be nice but the portion definitely shrunk; they are cutting corners. The chicken bowl is nice Their Uber Eats page has a glitch. They have a Spring 2024 new menu items section. I tried to order their shrimp bibimbap. But at check out it always becomes shrimp skewer. I tried several times. Always the same. I had to give up.

Yelp
Both food and service were fantastic at this location. Ambiance was also a level step up from your typical Silver Diner. Would note that Jason, our server, was incredibly responsive and helpful. He literally made what should have been just a routine breakfast stop memorable. Will definitely be visiting SD more in the future.

Yelp
I have never been to this location and have only eaten dinner at these diners. I went for Eggs Benedict today. My friend had a full breakfast--eggs, pancakes, turkey bacon. Our server, Bibi, was very pleasant and served us promptly. My eggs Benedict came with potatoes. I need ketchup anytime I eat potatoes. There weren't any ketchup bottles on my table or nearby. I asked a waiter, who just happened to pass by, if he could get me a bottle. It never came. I did finally get it from another server. My eggs were perfect and there was a lot of hollandaise sauce (most restaurants never give you enough), I received my turkey bacon as a substitute for ham, and my friend seemed to really enjoy his meal too. Looks like the breakfasts are as good as the dinner options. I have two comments for this location: 1) I really didn't like the layout of the restaurant. There were two of us and we were stuck in the middle between two rows of booths and there were two rows of two. We felt like we were in the middle of a fishbowl. 2) This comment concerns the Host. He was doing a most inappropriate, unclean, very bad habit that children are taught as a young age not to do. If the manager direct messages me, I will let him know what this Host was doing. I found it difficult to eat my meal while this Host continued his bad habit. I sat facing him the entire time while at the diner. By the way, parking is very easy and underground. You do have to go up an elevator and outside to get into the restaurant. That could be problematic if there's inclement weather like they were calling for today.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch, three simple meals, soup & salad, burger and fries and corn beef and eggs. Salad was wrong, burger and fries was sent back twice because each time the meat and fries were cold. The server was nice but the kitchen could not get it together. The place was slow, maybe 6 other tables. I would not recommend or return.

Yelp
Great place for late night eats in the Ballston Neighborhood of Arlington. They are open until 3am. I actually visited the Silver Diner three times during my time here as it was across the street from my hotel. I should have ordered the wings every time as they were delicious. The other menu items I ordered we great, but the wings hit the spot. Going against the norm of pairing with a beer, I enjoyed a Pinot noir. Great friendly service, Silver Diner is a win.

Yelp
Such a great find in downtown Arlington. I can't say enough good things about this place. The food was delicious, the service was amazing and the ambiance was incredible. Hands down the best diner I've been to in a while.

Yelp
Diner chain with a large menu of diverse options I came here for breakfast with my GF. I got the "Red, White, & Blue" French toast and she got a breakfast sandwich, and everything was very solid Validate parking in the garage next door

Yelp
Enjoy this Yelp Non Elite review! Very different than the beginning! This place sits on prime real estate! Located at a busy intersection, this place runs like a well oiled machine! People who work their are from all over the world! Everything is automated! Precise timing is amazing! What's really amazing is how the food turns out ! For a dinner it looks like one but has no real soul' everything is simply perfect! lol. The food is what you would expect but not much character! I loved my chicken fried steak . It needed a little more gravy but it was very hot ! My son and wife had the crab and was happy! It ain't cheap , but you don't leave hungry!

Yelp
Unfortunately no food pics this visit but definitely was delicious as always! Silver Diner has stepped their menu up with some pretty good selections. But this review is mainly to shout out us waitress, Reyna C. She was super pleasant and polite.

Yelp
Finally went here after living nearby for quite some time. I've been to another SD before but this one was insanely different. The other one i went to was a retro concept but this one was hella modern. I i got the avocado toast with smoked salmon, a cucumber-watermelon mojito, a sangria, and some fries with (THE) old mf bay. Overall, a great experience, would recommend coming to get your dine on in the silver fashion.

Yelp
Solid place for a casual brunch or late night snack. Service was quick, food was fresh and hot. We had a couple of mimosas with our brunch, and they were both really good, we tried the deluxe guava and the watermelon cucumber. We tried the apple pie, stuffed French toast and it was really tasty, although I'm not sure I'm a fan of the pomegranate seeds on this dish. The bison huevos rancheros is one of our go to brunch choices and is always delicious

Yelp

Yelp
We stopped by Silver Diner mainly because it was across the street from our hotel. After having brunch, we were glad that we stopped by. The restaurant is HUGE with outdoor seating. Overall, I though the service was pretty on point. Although we were visiting for brunch, I was quite shocked to see how large the menu was (I think it was about ten pages). Pretty good to have so many options if you are with 4+ folks who have different tastes. For my meal, I went with the country scrambler. I think they scrambled everything into the eggs bc it seemed to have every ingredient associated with a omelette. Perhaps, I didn't carefully read the menu, but I was pleasantly surprised that the scrambler came with two small pancakes and a small bowl of fruit. Overall, I was very happy with my dining experience at Silver Diner and hope to return in the future.

Yelp
Was in the area to go shopping so I stopped in for dinner. The greeter asked me if I wanted to sit at the bar. I declined and asked for a table. He proceeds to take me to the tables directly across from the bar. I knew that this is actually worse than sitting at the bar as the bartender is the one that handles your service. You don't get full attention at all. I told him again that I didn't want the bartender as my server and asked to be reseated. He seemed upset about this. I was given a table and my server came out fairly quickly to take my order. I got the ribeye steak sandwich. It comes with sides of French fries and coleslaw. The food came out quickly. All were good except the portion size of the coleslaw was the smallest I've ever seen. My server never came back in time to get me a refill of my water until I was ready to leave.

Yelp
Came here for breakfast mid afternoon on a Saturday. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. I got the Belgian waffles. There was an up charge for fruit. And an up charge for 100% Vermont syrup. The waffles were perfectly fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Both up charges were worth it although the strawberries were definitely out of season. Viviana took good care of us. Music was hangover low volume but you could still make out the cool song's. Wish they had espresso coffee. Place was very clean.

Yelp
Had a chance to try something off the specialty menu and gotta say the Shakshouka was a VERY pleasant surprise. My wife always enjoys the pancakes so not much to say there but the Shakshouka was flavorful, and the pomegranate really added a depth of flavor that elevated the dish. Improved my view of silver diner overall too!

Yelp
Silver Diner 8150 Porter Rd Falls Church, VA 22042 We are first-timers here, my family and I. Despite the busyness of the place, we were seated quickly. Our waiter, Peter, was attentive and friendly. My son was curious about the coin jukebox at each table, and Peter was patient and kind in showing him how to use it. The food was great, and the service was excellent. The ambiance during our dinner was also pleasing. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food and excellent service. I will be returning when we are in the area. Thank you, Peter, for being so much fun while providing excellent service!

Yelp
Great place ! I'm kind of embarrassed to say but My family and I ate here 4 times within 3 days on our trip to NoVa/DC . Food was delicious each and every time and the service was phenomenal as well . What was most impressive was them seating the 30+ in their waiting room within a timely manner . OH ! && The portion sizes are great !!!!!

Yelp
AMAZING!! Stopped in for brunch and had an excellent meal. They partner with local farmers and all the produce is super fresh. The breakfast tacos and quinoa salad was to die for. The quinoa salad was perfectly dressed and included roasted corn, butternut squash, carrots, and other assorted veggies on a bed lettuce. I could've eaten a plate full of just that! The waffles were light and fluffy. Scrambled eggs were well seasoned and the bacon was crispy. We enjoyed coffee and great service. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a great breakfast spot!

Yelp
If you're on vacation in DC and especially if you've got your family, take a little break from the monuments and drive over to the Silver Diner. Free parking in an underground garage that also serves a Target. Elevator up to the diner for really good food and take advantage of the convenience of that Target on your way out. We had breakfast fare, me the Quinoa and coconut pancakes, and my girlfriend, who is an absolute 10, BTW, had the lumberjack breakfast. Food was delicious. Choose from a vast variety of options. Something for everyone and high quality. Service was fast and friendly. Reasonably priced. Clean and tidy restaurant. I liked this place.
google avatar

Eva H.

Yelp
A solid spot to stop if you're hungry and like American food. It seems like it's a busy spot, but it's also fairly big. Food was good--my side salad was fresh, dressing was good, and it was basic but what I wanted considering the main (calorie central). Meatloaf was ample in portion, a bit dry, but a bit of the BBQ gravy saved that (I wasn't a huge fan of the gravy, honestly, but I hate dry meatloaf). The mashed potatoes were delightful. Veggies were...meh. The asparagus was properly cooked, as were the fresh veggies, but both suffered from lack of seasoning. This was especially apparent since the meatloaf was salty. I don't hold places like this to fine dining standards, but I appreciate that they focus on fresh ingredients and--despite it being a "diner"--the food is well prepared.

Yelp
Always great service and good food for a reasonable price. Even on busy days the service is top notch. Shushman was our server and he is consistently excellent at meeting our needs.

Yelp
This was a very disappointing visit, especially since I've been to their other locations and had great experiences. Our server was lovely so nothing against her, but the food was horrific. First, the fries were floppy, cold, and chewy, which is everything you don't want a fry to be. The grilled cheese, which is a challenging dish to do poorly, had VERY little cheese and the bread was beyond dry and tasted a little stale. The worst part though was the peach pie for two, which had an incredibly plastic taste to it, like if you licked bubble wrap. I never send a dish back, but I wasn't comfortable paying for something that was essentially inedible. I didn't have any concerns with the ambiance but there was a bit of a dirty diaper smell when we entered, which should've tipped me off that they weren't where they should be. Basically, everything was very obviously frozen then quickly microwaved, and felt done on the cheap in terms of ingredient quality and portion. I don't like leaving reviews like this, but I hope that they see this and take it seriously! I know they can do better.

Yelp
First time at the new location since they moved from Clarendon. Arrived around 11:30 pm and there were several tables occupied. Bright and clean ambiance with super high ceilings. Spacious seating and fast service. We ordered breakfast items and I had the **** Thai curry coconut quinoa pasta. It was very delicious with lots of different ingredients and texture. It was fresh and seasoned perfectly. I highly recommend this new dish!
google avatar

Yelp
Gave the new Silver Diner in Ballston a try. It replaced the the long-time Silver Diner in Clarendon which has been relocated after 26 years. Usually we look back with nostalgia that the new just isn't like the good old one. Not true here (except for the parking is now cumbersome but a sign of the times in ant-car Arlington). Clarendon's loss is Ballston gain. Isn't it about the food? Had the Power Breakfast including egg whites topped with cremini mushrooms, spinach, roasted tomatoes, feta, turkey bacon, fresh strawberries, cantaloupe, pineapple, whole wheat toast, butter and jams. Like many restaurants today there is a labor shortage so they didn't quite open @ 7:00 AM, but they were close. Excellent service by Dorothy. Nothing like a cheerful smile to go with a good breakfast so early in the morning.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a 3.5 for me. I went to the old location for ages. And like others I missed the old location. what is really good: The menu The quality of the food, top-notch The addition of an expanded bar what made me drop stars: Everyone has already mentioned the parking but for me it was the volume of the noise. Compared to Clarendon it's extremely noisy. I don't know if the setup in Clarendon absorb more noise but the open space has raised the noise volume. I was there to catch up with a friend and after 2 hours I had quite a headache from straining to here over the volume. The addition of the bar is great, my friend did order a mixed drink and the price of our meal ended up with food, drink, tip and taxes to just under $100. That's higher than I ever spent at Clarendon but also a function of the choice of a mixed cocktail. The food quality is five star. And when I was there all the servers were terrific and I was greeted at the door.

Yelp
The place is nice and clean, friendly staff. Ordered the corn chowder and I like it, entree of Salmon ceasar salad, which I think need some more flavor. It came out bland and didn't get the ceasar sauce taste. Definitely missing something, Salmon is nicely cooked but it is bland as well. The salad has additional kale and tomatoes, croutons was nice and crunchy and lastly I didn't get it with Parmesan cheese on it.... I'll come back though and will try a different entree. Seems like the other people enjoyed their food.... Still a nice restaurant

Yelp
Food good with decent menu and pricing! Stop by after work one night and enjoy the nice accommodating staff.

Yelp
I don't know where to start. I miss the Clarendon location. Miss the parking lot. Here, you have to park in Target's garage, take an elevator, and then go outside--but they do validate for two hours. Party of two, seated promptly, the diner wasn't by any definition busy. After ten minutes, no one had stopped by our table, so I (nicely) asked the host to send a server. Five minutes later, someone came to our table. They didn't have any spring water (though it's on the menu), ordered tap water, hot tea, kids milkshake, kids grilled cheese, side of fries, and a salad with protein. Twenty minutes into this. We have tap water, and nothing else yet. Waiting for the other drink orders. Kids milkshake arrives. Five more minutes, grilled cheese arrives, inexplicably with a cup of jam or cranberry sauce. Asked for the fruit that was supposed to come with it. It was brought quickly. No silverware or napkins on our table, so I got up and grabbed them from another table. We eat, food is whatever, as usual for Silver Diner. (We wanted to go to Circa, was closed today.) Grilled cheese came to the table almost cold, so the bread was pretty hard, at that point. Salads should be rethought so that they're not filled with tiny bits of the ingredients. I can cut a vegetable. We sat for fifteen minutes with cleared plates, waiting for the check but no one was to be found. Asked a busboy to find our server for us. She came over and I asked that the hot tea be taken off the bill because it never arrived. She said "Sorry, they made me close last night and open this morning, so my brain is a little..." They do not give you an itemized, paper check here. You see your total on the screen, and tap your card table side, while the server holds the credit card machine. So, if the server and I had both forgotten that the tea didn't arrive at table, I would have paid for it unknowingly. And THEN, after really, truly sub-par service, the tip options are 20%, 22%, and 25% LMAO, which you choose while the server is holding the machine and watching you. I tip VERY well, up to 40% for excellent service and 20% just for usual, acceptable service, but this deserved neither. I pressed the one that was lit up (22%) to get out of there, because my daughter was bored out of her mind at that point. Will not be returning. Also, the music is too loud to talk comfortably in that cavernous space, and we miss the table jukeboxes. Peace out.

Yelp
Came for a Sunday dinner! They were out of the Crab & Corn Chowder (which was fine, got chicken pot pie instead and it was very good!) Lots of options on the menu, especially gluten free options, which was important to us. The food was great, and it was lovely inside (felt even cozier on such a rainy night). Service was a little slow (which made sense, it got busier as the night went on) but we did have to wait a bit before we were able to flag down our waiter again and ask for our check. Prices were well worth it, we'll be back soon!

Yelp
The costumer service was amazing my waiter was really nice and always checking on my table also gave good food recommendations. This is my favorite location of Silver Diner, it has such a warm atmosphere. I recommend this local.

Yelp
loving the silver diner in this location! Busy Saturday morning, but the wait wasn't too long (7-10min). Service was quick and we were checked on throughout. During busy hours, noise level is high but it's very open. The food satisfied my breakfast cravings. I enjoyed their eggs Benedict!

Yelp
What a wonderful find on a trip to D.C. The food is farm to table with a real chef not just a cook. I had the Beyond breakfast tacos. My first time ordering Beyond meat, it has a tangy bbq flavor to it. Very juicy sitting on top of a flour tortilla then topped with a basted egg. It came with a flavor rich salad that had quinoa, corn, carrots and butternut squash, The flavors were wonderful and bright. Guacamole and banana peppers with marinated onions as a condiment. Two tacos to the plate, I was getting full from one but just had to eat the other! My husband's Philly cheesesteak omelet was light but filled with cheesey steak, very yummy. It came with crunchy potatoes, with a tangy sauce on the side and a biscuit. He also ordered a side of sausage that had that nice snap and very sagey. They have several locations around town. Check it out for fresh,,flavorful dishes open for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Oh and their cold brew coffee, iced amazing! had a chocolaty taste

Yelp
One thing I can depend on with Silver Diners is consistent mediocrity. This one did not disappoint. My chopped Cobb salad was less tasty than normal. My fountain soda was a bit on the flat side, and the mix was off. Notable was the waiter who had doused himself in cologne and water pouring from the ceiling behind the counter (and hopefully not on any of the food they were serving).

Yelp
I was craving something sweet so I went to Silver Diner and ordered a slice of apple pie. I paid $9 for a glob of apples that left me extremely dissatisfied. There was no crust and I honestly felt so ripped off. I am better off going to a grocery store and getting an entire fresh pie there.

Yelp
My brother and I decided to satisfy our cravings with a late-night visit to Silver Diner around 11:50 PM. Given the late hour, we expected a quiet atmosphere, and the diner certainly delivered on that front. However, the lackluster service and subpar food left a disappointing taste in our mouths. We opted for the loaded cheese fries, buffalo wings, and a milkshake. Unfortunately, none of these items lived up to expectations. The cheese fries were underwhelming, the wings lacked flavor, and the milkshake was unremarkable. To make matters worse, our waiter, Nisham, provided poor service. He didn't introduce himself and seemed disinterested in assisting us. His attitude was evident in his slow response time, and we found it difficult to get his attention when we needed to pay the check. Who knows he might be homophobic. Overall, our late-night outing to Silver Diner was a major letdown. I cannot recommend this location based on our experience.
