Bob Evans nailed the retro vibe—clean, bright, & welcoming! Philly cheesesteak omelette & sangria were flavor bombs 🍳. Hefty portions, decent prices, & attentive staff shine. Long wait for solo diners & entrance table placement annoy 🪑. Kid’s juice lagged too. Still, a tasty spot worth revisiting!

I was greeted upon arriving. My daughter was already present attending a friend's birthday dinner. I decided to dine solo on the other side of the restaurant to kill time. I felt the wait was crazy. I saw ample seating near the bar, including small booths, but I still had to wait. As a single diner, I was patient, but wondered why it took so long. Once sat, a waitress approached my table within 2 minutes. The service was great. A few gentlemen who I assumed management checked on me periodically. I had ordered the Country Scramble breakfast with toast instead of pancakes. I received my order timely and quickly realized that I would not be able to finish it. They prepared a large portion. I got the gravy on the side but didn't end up using it. Overall decent food and service. Thank you.

Classic American diner option. Most of the Chicken and Beef on the menu are Halal. And the waiter can suggest you the meal options based on your Halal preferences. Overall, great experience.

All dishes were awesome! I especially enjoyed the sangria. The fish were fresh and tasty.And prices are reasonable. Will recommend and come here again. The service was average, the kid’s juice was not served until we asked twice. And I didn’t like the fact that we were assigned a table by the restaurant entrance despite there were quite a few tables available further inside.

Great breakfast spot with a nice outdoor patio. Cheese steak omelette and Bay Benedict were both excellent. Service was good as well friendly and fast, with good coffee refills.

Fist time here and we were not disappointed! The place is clean and well lit. The retro feel is very welcoming. We went for breakfast and both got omelettes: Philly cheese steak and ham and cheese. The menu was full of choices for any type of craving.

We always have a nice meal here. Service is always fast and food is fresh. I usually get the double chicken sandwich, but last time I got the Lemon chicken piccata and it was so good. Might be my new fave and it’s healthier, so yay. Their coffee is always good, my kids love their milkshakes, and I love their cocktails. Great place to bring family and kids. Everyone is always really nice. Breakfast has always been good too!

Went to breakfast there this morning where the food and service was good. I ordered the Philly steak omlet which was good, the only issue I had with it was the steak easily fell out of the omlet which made it kind of annoying to eat. However it came with a biscuit, home fries, and this exquisite red sweet pepper sauce that was to die for. Overall, would get it again just for the sauce. Along side the meal I drank a coffee which paired well with the omlet.

This is a lovely Silver Diner! It smells clean and is inviting with the comforting diner-style decor and friendly service. Despite how busy it was, food preparation and delivery time to our table was impressively quick. The menu is extensive and overwhelming if you're hungry. No matter who you are, you can find something to eat here. I love the menu and the labels for different dietary regiments. I love the sections on the menu. This place was quite busy for lunch on a weekday, but it is summer, so maybe that's why? The service was efficient and prompt. They were friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and very well made. I tend to order the same items, and this Silver Diner had the best version of my favorite salad (Warm Roasted Local Veggie Salad) EVER. The veggies that were roasted were fresh and flavorful, not old or bland. The fresh raw veggies were delightfully crisp. The dressing was just right. I was fully satisfied by this salad. It was perfect! The oat milk protein pancakes were loaded with blueberries, which was amazing. Nice and fluffy! Love this place. Would choose this location again anytime of day. Parking is easy, too.

I had two different servers during my visit to silver diner. I first sat at a booth and ordered the American breakfast and a oatmilk latte. The server was friendly enough but not very attentive. The meal itself was ok, about 6/10. The bacon was subpar and the potatoes lacked flavor completely but they were cooked nicely. I then moved to the bar area where Evelyn served me a mimosa. She asked about my day and unfortunately I had a very rough one and she could see it. She was sympathetic and compassionate and offered me a hug. I really appreciated her compassion as I was really struggling that day. I appreciate her checking in on me regularly but not too much that I felt uncomfortable. Great service from Evelyn and a very good mimosa

Um, it was decent, edible. There's a theme to the restaurant, but it feels more like a Village Inn once you're seated. Service started well - we got orders in and food was....delivered. In stages...big pauses between service for the family, but it eventually all arrived. Food is decent. It's not like this is so special you just won't have a life if you don't ever eat it. But it's decent. Service trying to pay and leave was disruptive. Our server just up and disappeared. I was awaiting more coffee, but eventually just gave up and went to the hostess' desk and asked to pay so we could just get out of there.

The service was excellent! Staff is super friendly and hardworking. I ordered the chicken pot pie and it was delicious. The crust was flaky and buttery. Chicken and veggies were perfectly cooked. As you can see in the photo it is a good size. My only thing was using sweet potato instead of a regular potato was a little odd. Place was clean and organized . Plenty of napkins, drinks, seasonings, sauces are provided. I also got a taste of the strawberry shake and it was so good. Parking is easy and there's plenty of. I recommend Silver Diner for a good bite to eat!

I love the new menu at Silver Diner. I love that they have options for flexible food groupings, and many delicious options for vegetarians and vegans. As such, maybe I shouldn't have gone there for breakfast, as I found it disappointing to say the least. I love that they offered tempe bacon, which is one of those weird faux meats that I initially think isn't good, but then I eat the whole thing. You just can't expect them to taste like bacon. Once you get past that, they are rather good in their own way. They offered some "cheaper" breakfasts, in recognition that the public is sick of such exorbitant pricing, but I had to pay $1 extra to sub an English muffin for a biscuit. Wtf. Also, the home fries were not crisp. I believed they'd been cooked awhile before and were just sitting in a steamer or something. That's super lame because they're the stars of the show at any good breakfast joint. The service was good, but if you don't have good chefs on duty to make the food up to par, then you have unhappy customers. I, for one, won't be back for breakfast, at least. I paid $23 with tip and that's just insane for breakfast.

Came in for breakfast on a weekday morning... they weren't busy at all around 7:30AM, but by the time I left, they were getting busy. The guy working the bar, where I sat was very friendly. The menu at Silver Diner restaurants is always solid and the seasonal menu here was spot on too. I opted for an omelet from it which I really enjoyed. The toast was multigrain, which I always enjoy. The whole experience was great, definitely enjoyed it!!

I'm a regular at this Silver Diner because it is immaculately run. I love the team there, they all make me feel very welcome every time I visit. The manager, Jama, and his superb team, especially Evelyn, Badr and Monolo. I always sit at the bar and so can't help but notice how well the whole operation functions, like a well-oiled machine! The menu is extensive, food quality excellent, the service first-class, and ambiance perfect.

My family and I are regular customers. We have been coming here since it opened. All of the servers there give exceptional service. John the general manager is a great manager. You will always see him walking around, making sure you have everything and nothing is missing. My family have had almost all the servers there but we enjoy getting service from Marco. He is always on top of his service and we never have to ask for things as he always brings it before we ask. Overall, we enjoy this location and has been the best location we have been to since it opened.

I love coming here with friends. There are options for everyone. Love how many vegan items they have. The staff is great too. Badr is the best. He always remembers us and is so chatty and funny. Andrew is very nice and polite. We look forward to our next visit to silver diner!

Wow! We were looking for somewhere to eat after 10 p.m. and I could not be more grateful. Home cooking when you don't want to cook. So tasty. Fresh ingredients, great staff and cozy booths. Justin gave us the best recommendations, 10/10 try the red white and blue French toast. Chefs kiss!

Great service, Waiters were very nice, they got our order right, and the food was absolutely delicious, the feel was great I felt cozy and welcome in the diner, definitely come here I recommend it! At least I'll definitely come back!

Wow! Such great and fast service even though they were pretty busy. Our waitress was so friendly and sweet. The food was so delicious and came out nice and hot. Everything tasted amazing. Restaurant was very clean. The host John was awesome:) a very warm welcome to get our brunch started right

I went to silver Diner with my besties for my birthday breakfast and the experience left a lasting impression on me. It's a testament to the idea that healthy eating can be both enjoyable and indulgent. I can't wait to return and explore more of the menu. I highly recommend this dining spot. They have indoor and outdoor sitting. We did have to wait about 30 min to be seated. Service was great and fast.

We decided to try this Silver Diner because the last time we went to the one in Reston, we noticed how bad the carpeting smelled. To be fair, it has been a while since we were there so I don't know if they had remodeled or not. Since this Silver Diner was a lot newer and had good reviews, we figured we would give it a try. We were here around 4:30 p.m. on a Sunday and there was plenty of seating, both inside and out that was available. We ended up sitting inside. Before coming here, we both knew what we wanted to order. Our server was prompt getting to us and took our drink orders. I chose to have raspberry iced tea while my husband had a Sprite. The server then went to get our drinks. When he returned, we gave him our entree orders. I chose to have the "Classic BLT" which consists of: "Nitrate free bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, toasted sourdough bread". It comes with a side of coleslaw and a choice of fries or a veggie. I chose the fries. My husband ordered "Summertime Cod" which is a seasonal dish and consists of: "wild caught Icelandic cod over quinoa and pomegranate, grilled tomatoes, asparagus, lemon-garlic sauce". This is one of their low calorie dishes as it had 600 calories in it. The kitchen was a bit on the slow side but not so bad as to be annoying. When the food came out, I noticed that my husband's cod had a strong fishy odor. That's not good at all as it means the fish was spoiled. I pointed this out to him but he said he didn't smell it so he went ahead and ate it. He gave me a small piece to try and, yes, it didn't taste right. Fortunately, he didn't get sick from eating it. My BLT was well prepared and all the ingredients were fresh. The toasted sourdough gave it a nice crunch as did the bacon. The lettuce and tomato portions were quite adequate. I liked the coleslaw as it was mildly flavored. The fries arrived freshly cooked and hot. Our server brought us seconds on our drinks since they were drinks that had free refills. We hadn't even finished the first glasses! At the end of the meal, without asking us, he brought plastic cups with lids so that we could take the drinks home. I let him know that I appreciated it. If the cod didn't smell and tasty fishy, I would have given them 4 stars. Service was great and the place was clean. However, if I ever wanted a fish entree here I would order it with great trepidation---yikes! To me, it questions just how well the BOH is being run. Despite this, we will go back. We know that if my husband spoke up, they would have rectified this. A woman sitting at a booth near us got her entree and kept coughing while she tried to eat it. It turned out that it was overly spiced. Her server brought the manager over and she was allowed to order something different, which she did.

Finally got the chance to eat at this restaurant while my mom was visiting in town. We visited on a busy Sunday afternoon. After a short wait of about 10 minutes, we were seated at a table. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I was surprised to see a full bar which was nice so you weren't limited to the specialty drinks they offered. I opted to try the seasonal pumpkin espresso martini which was very good. You could really taste all the flavors not just the vodka. For my meal I had the stuffed apple French toast. I wish that I would've gotten the cream on the side because it was a bit much and I felt like it took away from the flavors of the French toast and apples. But overall it was pretty good. I would definitely visit again especially since it is in the neighborhood.

The food and the service are great! I go there all the time. The staff are very friendly and hospitable, especially Marco, Tyler, Mazin, John, Badr and Evelyn. Has all of your comfort foods with a modern twist and an ambiance which still beckons back to an old school, classic American diner feel. Thanks again for another great meal! Be back soon. - Ethan

The service was very friendly. We got the lamb Shakshouka and the Philly steak omelet. Both were enjoyable but the shakshouka was a little salty, but the rest was amazing. The Philly steak omlete was stuffed with meat. They did not skimp at all. The breakfast potatoes stole the show for us though. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sweet chili sauce that came with them was very good as well.

LAMB MERGUEZ SHAKSHUKA - was delicious. I hope they keep it in the menu. Service is always good.

This place was awesome. They have the best Belgian waffles I've ever had in my life. The Denver omelette was spot on too. I also recommend the Carmel macchiato. Service was impeccable and swift.

Finally gave it a try, it was good! Got a yogurt parfait and bagel, and husband got double chicken pickle sandwich. Food was great! Our server was wonderful, she was so sweet and caring. Wish I got her name but she wore glasses. Huge menu, clean restaurant, hosts were also very nice. Tons of parking. I'll be back to try the milkshakes

Now this is how you do a diner! Silver diner offers a wide range of local and fresh food to any sensitivity accommodation you can imagine, which surely makes it a treat! The server was such a sweetie which made the experience even better. I ordered the pancakes, smoke salmon on hash browns, and hibiscus lemonade. Ahhh the lemonade was sooooo delicious!!! I wish I could've ordered a gallon to take home. The salmon Benedict was also quite tasty served on the hash browns(I'm pretty side the menu didn't call them has browns but I can't remember the name and they were essentially hash browns lol) Overall, I will definitely be back here to enjoy some good food! Might I add, as a diner girl, the windows are usually a little questionable--this places windows were exceptionally clean! Everything was so sparkly, I couldn't believe it was actually a diner lol

My boyfriend ordered us dinner from here on doordash and my dish was borderline terrible. I always give grace when ordering to go knowing sometimes the food doesn't keep well with the travel. I ordered the shrimp scampi and it was extremely bland and ridiculously fishy. The second i opened the lid the fish smell hit us like a truck. There was zero flavor to noodles, and they were very slimy. I tried adding some lemon juice and broth to try and add flavor, but it just made the noodles even slimier. I doubt i'll try this place again unfortunately. *He enjoyed his chicken picatta*

Awesome diner with several locations in the DC metro area. Locally sourced food with diner favorites,as well as, unique options. A perfect spot for family or friends. Had Sunday brunch with two friends. Great food and service!

The service was good however the food not so much. I ordered corned beef hash and eggs. It was underwhelming, the corned beef was very dark in color and did not have the texture for corned beef hash. The home fries were probably a couple of days old and had been microwaved to reheat them. My husband had French toast but again it wasn't good. I think to save money that the quality of food has taken a major hit. Used to love the McLean r silver Diner but wouldn't even try it now.

Silver Diner of Ashburn has been good to me and my family. The food is consistent, yummy, and always fresh. We like coming here because they have a nice, roofed-in outdoor seating area. Lots of seats to accommodate large parties as well as small ones. The breakfast options are creative with interesting twists on classics like apple pie stuffed French toast and breakfast tacos. We often order the lumberjack because you get eggs, pancakes, potatoes and a breakfast meat; it's filling and tasty. This last outing, I tried the Philly cheesesteak, it has a good amount of meat, sautéed onions, and white melty cheese. It was surprisingly good, although I was skeptical about a chain restaurant executing a good cheesesteak sub. They have a full bar, pick your poison and enjoy a brunch cocktail. My wife likes the tequila sunrise and they don't skimp on the tequila. This location is kid-friendly and have a nice kids menu with lots of options.

Silver Diner is consistent and I will continue to go back. Unfortunately, service this time was under par. Food was good. We had club sandwich, turkey meal, and breakfast for dinner. The highlight was my husband's margarita- served with a lime cup of Grand Marnier.

The food and service was amazing. Angela was our server, and she was extremely attentive and helpful; a credit to the restaurant!! We will be back!!

This is our favorite brunch spot in Loudoun County. Food is consistently good and the service is wonderful. I like that they have the classics for my husband and some more adventurous foodie options for me.

I've left this restaurant insulted, offended, and downright depressed at the state of the modern day restaurant. Silver Diner, touting itself as a "timeless," "classic," and "authentic" diner neglected one of the most important beverages of the time period this "restaurant" is meant to emulate: the Shirley Temple. It is one thing to serve a cherry-less sprite with grenadine abomination because the restaurant simply neglects to keep cherries in stock. This is a real issue, but I've seen it time and time again. But to be served a cherry-less sprite with grenadine abomination and look one seat over to see a perfectly existing maraschino cherry sit atop a milkshake is just a knife to the back. Salt was rubbed into the gapping wound that is the cherry-less hole in my heart. I had to ask this restaurant to put a cherry in my drink. A classic diner should know that in order for a beverage to constitute a Shirley Temple, it must include at least one maraschino cherry. It's textbook. To all that need to learn, see the below photos, depicting the difference between what is and what is not a Shirley Temple. Aside from that betrayal, I will say the beverage itself could use some more grenadine. As shown in the picture, it was a little watered down. There was also very little ice. It has potential, it's just lacking a passion for the classic beverage that one could discover in the future. 1 star for the drink just because you all had cherries and didn't use them. The food was good, I've been to other Silver Diners and get the same thing and it always delivers (+2 stars) Our server Andrew was very nice and did a fantastic job (+2 stars). Up your Shirley Temple game and you guys have a real shot at making it in the restaurant business.

Came here for breakfast and Matthew was our waiter. Order 2 power breakfast which are supposed to promote healthy... why did you place salted butter packets with the breakfast? The same thing is can't you cut the stems off the spinach as they are chocking hazards. Overall the presentation was barely a 3

Went here every week for a BYOB (Build your own burger) greatest darn burger I've ever had. I couldn't be more excited about it every time I went, this is coming from someone who has moved and lived all over the US so I have had my fair share of food. The workers are amazing and always make me feel like a valued customer. They are always clean and ready for their customers it's unbelievable. Sadly I moved once again to Texas and haven't been able to find one but my hearts always at silver diner. It's ranked 1 to me.

My kids love this place, and I can always find something I like on the large menu. Food is pretty good quality, and the service has always been top notch. The bar/bartender is great too for a drink later in the evenings with dinner after hitting the gym or whatever. My go-to is the bison huevos rancheros.

They are a step above iHop, your basic diner food. Service is always excellent, and they are close by

Went looking for a place to eat breakfast while we were in the area. Stumbled onto this place. And now it is on the permanent list of eateries. We visit when we are in the Loudoun area doing one of our wine tours. Don't miss it. The food is Grrreeeeaaatt!

Gave this restaurant a try since it's a staple in the area and I was highly disappointed. The food was very mediocre. My scrambled eggs were undercooked and wet and after it was sent back to be cooked harder it came back with little to no difference. I wouldn't recommend. The service was good, the waiters were very attentive the food was just very underwhelming.

We went back for dinner and were able to get seated outside on the patio without having to wait like some other places in One Loudoun. We ordered 4 separate dishes and all of them tasted very good. The service is still decent and we were able to be in and out in less than 60 minutes. Having said that the food is pretty pricey and hence we only come here once in a while.

I've been to several different Silver Diner locations in the area. The food is what I would refer to as elevated diner food, and it's consistently good and fresh tasting. They have a pretty good kids menu, and my daughter loves their pancakes. I often go with the chicken and waffles- the pepper syrup and white gravy give it a southern flair. One exception thing about our most recent visit to the Ashburn location was the service. Our server was simply excellent- friendly, fast, attentive. I wish I had gotten her name to include on here, but it really makes a difference.

My fiancé and I took her mother and her father out for her birthday. It was a nice way to finish the morning after some activities around the area. There were a lot of people waiting in line before me but after I put my name down the wait ended up being only five minutes. One thing I love about silver diner is that they have so many different types of options. I decided to go with a breakfast option and have the Lumberjack breakfast with an English muffin. This meal was not only filling but also revitalizing. We all enjoyed our meal. One thing that was special is the entire staff from Silver diner sang happy birthday to my soon to be mother-in-law. The energy in this location is infectious positive and I look forward to going back.

I love going to the one in One Loudoun for the chicken noodle soup and BLT. The best chicken noodle soup you can get in a restaurant. And, Evelyn is always very kind.

I heard from neighbors that service was slow here. BUT the Yelp reviews were pretty good. We came for breakfast early Sat morning. We grabbed some counter seats(there's only about 6-7 seats). Service was quick. Menu was huge including an all day breakfast option. We both ordered omelets. They allowed substitutions on the side dishes. Food was quick to be delivered. I would have preferred my omelet to be much warmer but it was ok. The potatoes and toast that accompanied my meal were all tasty. The location has a very cute outdoor patio. Most people were outside. Like any Silver Diner the menu is way better than an ihop option. Parking is massive. They are right next door to the CVS across from One Loudoun.

The wife and I went to Ted's for breakfast's and it's literally three minutes away from you guys I'd like to think that server who touched my shoulder without consent And was unbelievably rude, who would a hint of unconscious bias attached I left and found Ted's. I won't ever be back to your establishment again.

Surprise, surprise. It's not your older silver diner. Menu is redone to a more modern type. Meatless and healthy options. Drinks available too. I had the plant based tacos and really loved them. I think the picture sold me. Did not miss the meat at all. Staff was excellent. Prices may be a touch expensive for a diner. Great selections. Note: Yelp map incorrect.

I frequent here, like the other Silver Diners in the past :) they have great options added on the Menu in the past few years. Love the French toast, omelette varieties and THE milkshakes. The service has always been great, but be ready for a wait on the Weekends though.

I'm in the area for a work trip and not feeling well, so I ordered delivery and no face to face contact. I provided the website with my suite number when setting up the delivery, so I wouldn't have to go anywhere or potentially spread anything I potentially had. I never get a call from my delivery person to confirm my food was delivered correctly (just an automated text). The "completion photo" was so generic that by the time I figured out where my food was, it was cold. Photo added. I hope I didn't have anything and it wasn't spread to others staying at the hotel while I had to look around and ask people if my food was delivered.
