The food and options on the menu is amazing. My waiter Jacob, was the best. As I sat here, all the other waiters customer service was extremely professional as well. It's was a breath of fresh air just watching everyone. Walking into the diner was the smell of fresh coffee in the air. When our food came out, all i can say is "WOW"!!!THE PRESENTATION AND TASTE of the food was exceptional 👌. I have one more week in MD for business, and I will have breakfast, lunch, and dinner at this amazing diner. Banks,...

We have been here several times and always had a good dining experience. The food, ambiance, and service are good. Most of the food items are good and the milkshakes are very delicious. They are also open until late nights, so it is a plus point. It is a good and casual place for dining, and it's located around Rio Lakefront, so there are a lot of things to do around the location.

We went to Rio and enjoyed an amazing happy hour kids dinner over at Silver Diner. Erik was our waiter and he was attentive and helped to make sure that our kids meals were adjusted with pretty much everything on the side. Kids loved the wings dry and the bbq chicken platter with yellow rice and edamame. 100% grape juice was legit and loved the service! Watch out the bbq sauce it has a kick! 10/10 will come back for happy hour fun! Shout out to Erik! My daughter said: “This is the best meal I ever had at Rio”

Great food, friendly people! I didn’t eat inside but it looked like it had a very nice view of the lake. For a diner, the steak was pretty good.

ITS BACK!!!!! Vegan egg Benedict. This is sure to please both vegans and carnivores. Love this spot it’s not just. A diner it’s a pleasure. Everyone is so friendly and that is what keeps me coming back to their delicious food. When something is this good, you have to post about it every time. Why? Because each time is better than the last. Everyone is amazing and super friendly. Don’t forget to top off your meal with the delicious minty grass hopper milk shake, “just the mention of it makes me now want one”

Took a chance to dine-in for dinner on a weekday. This is one well laid-out and spacious Silver Diner located within Rio. It has an upscale feeling to it. The bar is quite impressive, and I'm told they have a great breakfast service. Our dishes were done right and fresh. Plesantly surprised to see happy hour drinks till 9pm.

4 stars for 4 reasons 1. The patty melt was pretty good but next time we will order medium instead of medium well. Triple pickled crispy chicken sandwhich was so fresh and super crispy! Flavorful and packs a punch. Coleslaw is good wish it was cold and not so warm. 2. Quantity is a lot for what you pay. Alot of food and we’re full. 3. The price is not bad considering it’s Gaithersburg at the Rio area. 18-19 dollars. 4. The atmosphere is nice and outdoor seating is an option Minus 1 star for 2 reasons -.5 for mediocre service and -.5 for salty fries! Way too salty! And kinda stale

Visited on a Saturday, it was fairly busy but didn't have to wait for a table. Drinks were pretty good; had a watermelon margarita I think it was? Enjoyed that. Ordered the Cobb salad which was good and the patty melt. Had to send the melt back because the cheese wasn't melted. Odd since that's literally in the name LOL their coleslaw is weird though. Used to have dried cranberries in it, but now it has corn? What is that about? Service was decent but it did take a little longer than expected to receive the order. Anyway, I would still return again in the future.

Yelp
This location is a very popular space in the Rio complex of eateries, shopping and other entertainment experiences. The biggest issue to highlight is parking- be ready to need to be super patient to find parking. There is a garage very close by- the one nearest the theater, but there are always so many people there! That being said, Silver Diner is fantastic down to earth comforting food. There's nothing too crazy, and everything is well prepared and fresh. That's really the goal for any eatery, right!? After that, the service should be informed, patient and kind, as they are here. There is a lot of seating, especially in the warmer weather as you can sit outside and inside. So, it's not a problem getting a table. The staff here have lots to do, hustling about, but they are pretty attentive. The place is clean and spacious, and feels like you can comfortably dine here for as long as you like. I've never felt pushed or rushed to finish my meal because they're trying to get another seating from our space. That's always a bonus! My food choice here is always the same, but I'm happy with just a salad and maybe a side of other vegetables like fries or edamame. Milkshakes here are rich and filling, taking me to a childhood place of happiness, as I don't think about the calories there. All in all, the menu is extensive, so anyone you dine with will be able to find a meal here. That might require a change or substitution to a menu item, or a pairing or more of smaller dishes, but it can accommodate all eaters and diets. I'm sure to be back here one day!

Yelp
Silver Diner's location in Rio is the perfect place to stop by after climbing at Sportrock. Silver Diner is open late so if you stop by to climb after work, you can certainly grab a meal at Silver Diner after. I was really impressed with how much the manager on duty came to check on tables. He was friendly and so attentive to the guests. Our server was also pleasant with a cheery disposition. She took our order easily and had no problem splitting the check amongst the 3 of us dining together. Silver Diner is VERY vegan friendly. They mark their menu clearly showing what items are vegan and they have so many options. They even have 3 plant-based milkshakes to choose from. I ordered the Minty Grasshopper shake with Maker's Mark added on to make it an adult milkshake. I also ordered a side of fries because I love mixing my sweet with some salty. The milkshake was fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about it. There were chunks of Oreo cookie bits, and the chunks were small enough they did not clog the straw. The shot of Maker's Mark was strong yet didn't interfere with the creamy dairy free goodness of the shake. I love that Silver Diner also gives you extra milkshake in a metal cup so you can essentially have 2 shakes with the purchase of one. My only disappointment was with the French fries. We arrived at Silver Diner around 9pm and maybe the French fries just were not fresh. They tasted like they were reheated or microwaved. You know when you microwave French fries and the soft potato inside pulls away a little from the once crunchy exterior? That is how these fries tasted. I am hoping it was just an off day for the fries, but I am hesitant to order them again. Overall, I will certainly come back to Silver Diner. That milkshake was too good to not get again. Additionally, I want to try more of their vegan options like their vegan taco bowl and vegan eggs benedict. I am thankful for my great experience at SIlver Diner and hope my next visit is even better.

Yelp
We are visiting Washington DC and friends around the Gaithersburg area. We found this diner while we were walking around the mall. The food was very good, price was reasonable and plenty of options. Service was excellent, a young Latina lady name Gaililea, was very nice and helpful. She Provided one of the best services! We been here 3 times and we plan to come back if we return back to the area

Yelp
We have never been disappointed at Silver Diner. The food, the service, the ambiance - delicious, perfection, and cozy. The quality of the ingredients and variety of the menu makes this establishment one of my favorites in the area.

Yelp
This is possibly one of my and hubby's fave place. Flexitarian offering on orders is a big component. Gluten-free and dairy-free options with amazing flavor of food is amazing! My favorite is the Skewered Shrimp Bibimbop with only 600 calories and bursting with flavor. This visit we had breakfast menu and I got the Bay Benedict and he got the Corned Beef Hash. Too yummy and I enjoyed every bite! My husband gets his regular dose of gluten-free brownies day or night. The staff are all friendly and the manager comes around and checks on everyone. They make us feel very welcome. Clean and neat ambiance of the old diner experience. We do love coming here.

Maria C.

Yelp
We love this spot and go very often. The staff is nice, it's always clean, and the ambiance is great. Family friendly. I love how fresh the ingredients are and how great the menu is! I'm not even vegan but my favorite dish is the Thai quinoa pasta . Incredible mix of flavors. The only thing this place could improve in my opinion is allowing reservations. It makes it easier for large groups to book ahead of time so you are not waiting for long outside

Yeri M.

Yelp
Everything was great the food was amazing I really love the buffalo wings and my brother got the shrimp quesadilla for starter and he said that was terrific good !! But our server G A L I L E A was outstanding she was great really attentive and she gave us the right amount of time to choose our food! Galilea she really makes us comfortable with her energy and shining smile !

Yelp
We stopped here for breakfast and had an amazing experience. The diner had indoor and outdoor seating available. The view was gorgeous. We received prompt and friendly service with a smile and we were seated immediately. The menu is extremely large! So many options were available. The eggs Benedict was the star of the show but everything we had was absolutely delicious, fresh and hot. We also had pancakes and an egg dish. There is free parking, a movie theatre and a Dave & Busters available on site.

Yelp
*MY REVIEW IS BASED OFF MY EXPERIENCE AND THEIR HAPPY HOUR MENU. Service: I've been here a few times in the past but it seems as though service has continued to decline. The host wasn't very helpful when asking him about the menu, we were directed to ask our server before being seated. The bartender was nice enough to wait on us until our actual server came. Our server seemed confused and inattentive. We were also left with finger food with no utensil or Napkins. I know it's just "finger food" but it was messy finger food and still napkins would have been nice at least. Then when looking for anyone, they were all busy doing their huddle. Why they would leave their guest unattended or not check on them before their huddle is silly... Food: Although we just had "finger food" from the happy hour menu. The old bay wings were pretty good, seasoned well and crunchy. The buffalo tacos had way too much meat and lacked all the other toppings. My partner and weren't too fond of it all. & the cheese on the cheese fries weren't as expected. The cheese was shredded cheese that tasted like it had sat out a little too long or as if they just sprinkled it over hot fries. Their pink lemonade with vodka wasn't too bad. I enjoyed the drink but they could've knocked off a couple more dollars. It's a pretty basic drink and isn't worth the price for happy hour. Ambiance: The outdoor seating is beautiful. It is located right next to the water. & it's nice that they also have a bar attached, that way if something is missing and you can't find anyone, you can go up to the bar and get it yourself.

Yelp
Had brunch on a Sunday and the place was pretty packed. Service was good but a bit slow which was understandable considering how busy they were. The manager and shift supervisor were both very active in supporting the rest of the staff during this busy period and greeted us during our visit. We had the Belgian waffles, pancakes, and omlettes. Everything was prepared as requested and we were satisfied with the quality of the food. It was a bit loud because of the crowd but I'd give them another visit based upon our overall experience.

Yelp
My first time at this location because we were meeting with friends and it's more convenient. It's in Rio next to the movie theater. We went around dinner time and luckily didn't have to wait because when we left, there were people waiting. So I would probably do a reservation just in case if you go during dinner time. We ordered the chipotle salmon and shrimp, cheese fries, chilli, and I think my husband got the turkey platter? The food was just okay. My salmon and shrimp were bland and didn't really have much flavor. I had to dip it with the cheese that came with the fries for some flavor lol. We also got the nutella banana milkshake and that was good though! I would get that again. Service was okay. The staff stopped checking on us after we got our food. We had to go find someone to get service a couple of times.

Yelp
So I have frequented Silver Diner in Rockville for years. It is one of my favorite restaurants. I tried the Silver Diner in Gaithersburg this weekend and loved it!! It has great outdoor seating. The bar seating has indoor and outdoor seating in an L shape which is great in warmer weather. We sat at the bar indoors but close to the outdoor section. It was the best of both worlds because we had a/c and shade but also a cool beeeze coming in from the outside and also a great view of the lake. I felt like I was at a bar at the beach! The food was top notch just like the Rockville location and the service was excellent. This is going to be a new favorite place for me.

Yelp
Went here last night for dinner with a friend before a movie at the AMC. We arrived around 6 and our movie was at 7. Luckily, the staff moved quickly and we were able to get in and out under 45 minutes. Our waitress checked on us often and we even had a visit from the manager, which is always nice. I got the crab cake and mashed potatoes. It was delicious! Definitely nice for a cold winter day. I like Silver Diner because they tend to change the menu often so you can always try new things. Our waitress mentioned that the crab cake would probably stick around until Spring. Overall, a really solid choice for a meal at the Rio.

Alea V.

Yelp
Haven't been here in a while, but decided to come in and try some breakfast. I got the buratta shakshuka which is a newer item. It's a nice vegetarian option. It doesn't have all the traditional flavors I was expecting from a shakshuka, but for someone not used to shakshuka they would probably like it. I usually get the avocado toast with salmon which is a pretty solid choice. Overall the location is nice it's usually pretty clean and service is ok. Don't expect anyone to come to your table with a smile on their face, but they usually provide decent service.

Leo T.

Yelp
Where you come if First Watch is too crowded, Ted's Bulletin prices seem too high and everything else diner open until 11am. They are high for what you get here as well, but the Rio is a fun image to visit.

George M.

Yelp
There is nowhere in the area that you can find some of these dishes at 11 at night, most are hard to find any time of the day. The two dishes that I had were amazing. The bruschetta w/pesto and burrata cheese was delicious. It was fresh made and none of the flavors were overpowering. Next was the lamb meatballs on a bed of spinach, topped with marinara sauce and goat cheese with taziki sauce and pomegranate seeds on the side. Really great flavors that came together nicely. Silver Diner continues to impress me every time that I come here. The head chef is from Europe and you can see the influences of the flavors and combinations in many of the dishes. On top of that, you can see where many of the items are sourced from (many local). Support this amazing DMV local restaurant!

Yelp
7.27.23 My colleagues and I came for lunch and we had a party of 7. They don't take reservations, but I called in advance so they could put a table together for us. Initially I told them 9, but there were two last minute no shows. I was a bit annoyed that when I arrived the table hadn't been put together. Fortunately most people in my party were late so it was fine. They have lunch blueplates which are select items for $12.99. I selected the fish & chips. Fish that I generally have at restaurants are beer battered, but they prepare here with cornmeal. I was not a fan of the cornmeal or the spice they used on it. My colleague ordered the same and returned it as she didn't like it. My colleagues all seemed to like their meal. My only suggestion is that they use different cups. There was so much condensation that it left a puddle of water on the table. Server was friendly, but she could have come around more frequently to check on us. It was just an average dining experience in terms of the food and service. I wish I had gone with the waffle, eggs, and bacon, which I am confident that I would have enjoyed more than the fish & chips.

Monica T.

Yelp
This continues to be a place that fits for everyone, including a family member with a severe walnut allergy & a vegetarian family member, plus the rest of us! Tried the Triple Pickled Fried Chicken sandwich for the first time. It's huge! Come hungry. Perfectly cooked chicken and not greasy at all. Removed one of the chicken pieces to eat as a sandwich and then enjoyed the second by itself! One thing I love about the menu is that you can order something different every time, because the menu is massive. Great for groups & families.

Beth P.

Yelp
Everything. Perfect morning. Our server was so nice. The food here is always above the expectation. Great fresh and healthy options and yummy comfort food.

Kyle L.

Yelp
I know Silver Diner has been around forever, but I feel like their Rio location has a different vibe than the typical SD franchise. The ambiance is pretty calm and quiet for a family-friendly restaurant. The service has also been consistently strong every time I have been. They have $5-8 appetizers and drinks on the weekdays, which is always fun. I most recently had their Brussels sprouts and hickory smokehouse burger for ~$25. I was craving breakfast for dinner, but their breakfast combo options weren't super flexible (didn't have many combos). The burger was stacked with caramelized onions and bacon. Both items were solid and honestly better quality than some of the "nicer" restaurants at Rio (True Food Kitchen :/).

Michelle M.

Yelp
We enjoy silver diner as a comfort meal or when we can't decide where else to go. The chicken tenders are especially flavorful and crispy! I enjoyed the light lemony flavors in the Greek salad and crunchy pita chips with hummus. The servers were very attentive and friendly. Service was fast despite it being a holiday weekend. Even though it was busy the ambiance was not stressful or loud. We always enjoy their milkshakes made from Tillamook ice cream as well.

Shalita W.

Yelp
First off, our waitress "Tyanna" was absolutely amazing.....very pleasant young lady. My apologies in advance if I may have misspelled your name but definitely appreciate you being so attentive and understanding as I was being indecisive. Secondly, it's been a few years since I've visited a Silver Diner and boy has their menu changed soooo much. But definitely in a good way....very impressed with their plant-based selection. Super excited they even have plant-based options for milkshakes. Lastly, there's no doubt I'll be returning soon. Silver Diner has never disappointed and I can see they take pride in serving their customers.

Monica P.

Yelp
Silver Diner has won me over! Their menu is refreshingly expansive, with a focus on healthy, high-quality ingredients. I tried the Oat Milk Protein Pancakes, and they were absolutely delicious (was impressed by the vegan cream too). I actually ate there three times in the span of a day and a half (was in town just for a weekend). If Silver Diner ever considers expanding to Southern California, I'd be the first in line!

Renee J.

Yelp
I have not been to a Silver Diner in a long time and I was very impressed with my visit. It's a large dining space so even on a Saturday morning we had no wait time. The service was great with a very attentive server and I loved the extensive menu they offered. I couldn't help myself so I ordered off of a seasonal menu and had the crab Benedict. It was wonderful! This is a great place to visit with family or friends because there is something for everyone.

Katharine S.

Yelp
We came here for brunch before seeing a movie and everything was delicious. This is one of those places that could have fallen off the wagon of exciting places to eat at, but they've really updated their menu and everything was delicious. I had the chicken & waffles and it was amazing. I didn't have enough time to finish it before the movies and I was disappointed! Potatoes were good and my husband liked his steak & cheese, too. Definitely try the hibiscus lemonade if you like lemonade!

Andrew P.

Yelp
Being right out on the water is definitely an upgrade for Silver Diner -- you may be able to see a playground and land just on the other side, but isn't the view of water just relaxing anyway? This is why I just wish we could've sat outside, but the tables were full -- obviously, this was during the warmer season haha. We got seated inside and even though it was a little later than breakfast time, we were all in a breakfast mood. Let's see... I got quinoa coconut pancakes and a side of turkey bacon. I think I've mentioned it for other locations, but I appreciate the variety of healthy options that Silver Diner has these days... those pancakes were protein-packed and yummy! They have quite a bit for me to still explore, and I get a feeling I won't be disappointed. The staff checked on us regularly and came waters and juices filled. How delightful!

Yelp
Health Conscious "California Style" Diner The Silver Diner was in Rio, a beautiful upscale shopping plaza in Gaithersburg, MD. The menu was very health conscious with lots of healthy choices. We had baked cod and a hamburger, which were both delicious. Service was excellent. Manager was a bit tired and worn out from his facial expressions each time he turned away from the guests he seated. One look for the guests, followed by his true feelings, it appeared to me. Average meal was about $25, though there were some other options. For example, I came in wanting a tuna fish wrap or sandwich, but they had just removed that from the menu! They replaced it with a fancy non meat burger with miso or some such. Good choices were fancier than the usual 50's Silver Diner all American fare which used to be at the Lakeside Mall nearby before the mall closed. We ate outdoors which was delightful.

Wingyan L.

Yelp
Silver Diner has extended their happy hour until 9pm but it only applied drinks. The Sangria was quite refreshing. I enjoyed snacking on the diced fruit after finishing the beverage. I started with Crispy Fried Brussel Sprouts. I love how it had dried apricots and cranberries. Although the Summer Watermelon & Shrimp Salad had more feta that I'd liked, it was delightful.

Shaan T.

Yelp
This is one of the more expensive places for "Mid" food. Paid way to much for something with very little quality. There is another restaurant in the same complex that serves better food. I went there a few months back, not only I got more food (as well as quantity) it was 20-30 bucks cheaper. People are very nice and helpful (which is why I will not give 1 star). If you expect to pay about 70 bucks for lunch for 2 people, at least make the quality of the food a little better.

Becci S.

Yelp
We have eaten here a few times. Good food. All day brunch menu. Indoor and outdoor seating. Service is reasonably quick. Children's menu is available. The booths are comfortable.

Holly N.

Yelp
The steak and cheese has more mayo then steak, felt like it was drowning in just mayo. For 17 bucks I would rather go to Charlie's

April S.

Yelp
Good experience. I thought the service was friendly and timely. Though there was something wrong with my order the waitress quickly altered it. We went during the World Cup, so it was a little lively. Fans were definitely in tuned with the game, so it was a little loud during breakfast/brunch which I don't think would be the norm. Had to take my food To go, but the French Toast ended up being really good. Would try again because I didn't get the full experience.

Diane D.

Yelp
A 5 star service from Chloe, a lovely young lady w a warm and welcoming smile. We have not dined at this location before and would highly recommend it to anyone who has not been at Rio. Roomy space, beautiful view and great service. The pancakes were tasty and the Griddle platter was delicious. We will be back when it is warmer so we can walk the Boardwalk.

Henry M.

Yelp
On Sunday my wife and I had one of the worst meals we've ever had anywhere at the Silver Diner at Rio in Gaithersburg, MD. It was terrible from the virtually non-existent service to the uninteresting grilled cheese sandwich that came with a handful of fries that had the texture of having been leftover from another customer, but the fried shrimp were even drier, and completely flavorless. When I complained about the shrimp to the waiter when he eventually showed up again, his answer was "What do you expect in a diner?!" Where I come from, diners have great service and do a good job of the few or many dishes that they serve, and Silver Diner was like that when they opened in Rockville on 355 years ago. Sad that the unhappy server we had apparently judges diners by the awful experience that he is part of.

LeAndra M.

Yelp
this silver diner's located inside of Rio. it's well-maintained and the staff is very friendly. Do you have inside and outside seating options. The restaurant is very accommodating when it comes to large groups. I ordered one of the summer specials and it was amazing. I had salmon and shrimp. Temperature was great when it came out was not overcooked. Over the years, I feel the silver diner has improved its menu and its culinary presence.

N R.

Yelp
Great marketing! Unfortunately the place is all sizzle and no steak: - BBQ sauce main ingredient is HFCS (had to ask the waitress); funny how the big bottle of ketchup touts "ORGANIC"; what else are they using with HFCS?! - Choice of teas handed to me includes a loose tea bag; When I chose something else they took it back; How many people have touched that tea bag?! - Chicken noodle soup tasted like water - Can't handle the brunch crowd (slow service; slow food; "out of silverware")

Rebecca F.

Yelp
[Pandemic review - 2020] This is the Rio location. We can during the pandemic and were seated outdoors. The server got our order in quickly and food came out promptly. The drinks came out first which was great. I got a classic burger and fries. I really like how they served it (see pics). They separated the onions and pickle in case folks don't like those items. (I'm guessing enough customers don't want it for them to serve it like that.) Fries came wrapped in paper to absorb excess oil and in a metal cup. Burger was cooked well and stacked. Patty was juicy and flavorful. Fries were fantastic. Fresh, hot, crispy - how all fries should be. My friends were satisfied with their meals as well. I think it is on the pricey side, but at least I felt like I was getting my money's worth.

Rick S.

Yelp
The food is a good 4.5 . The menu has lots of options for the Veg, GF or low carb diner. The chain is focusing on Farm to Fork and seems to do a good job of it. They offer Nitrate Free, Turkey and Veg bacon as well as chicken sausage and even Bison. The service is fast and friendly. My original Silver Diner experience was in Bethesda and the restaurant is a stand alone railcar like structure...much more diner like ambiance than the mall version. That got the 4 rating. Still, I was ready to go back a second day.

Sean Z.

Yelp
Nice weather to dining out with family! Zelda the waitress is super nice and friendly

DeAndre J.

Yelp
We came here before our movie last week and it was a nice time. The atmosphere is always very lively and the service we received was prompt and they came to check and see how everything was going. My girlfriend got the chicken noodle soup and I got the stuff apple French toast. I got a virgin drink that was like a mojito but with Sprite. It was a good experience and we love the milkshakes here and have for years! I've enjoyed many different dishes at this location and the one in Rockville. They are always on top of things food and service wise. This was definitely a welcomed addition to the area. Our food came out fresh and tasty and our server made sure we were happy with everything we had.

Rebecca H.

Yelp
I had a good breakfast here. My French toast with eggs and sausage was good. The diner food here is solid. They have good options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have good cocktails. Overall my experience here was good.

Joe H.

Yelp
Happy hour is great with $3 beers and some decent food. They let you get happy hour booze until like 9pm!

Jennifer F.

Yelp
I've generally always been a fan of Silver Diners. So I was glad when they opened one nearby. I like the easy access and location, and they have plenty of seating options. I've been to this location a few times and have always experienced good service. I appreciate the variety of options throughout their food menu, especially dietary/allergy restrictions. Anytime I go, I order a breakfast dish. I've had their GF pancakes and French toast, which are pretty amazing, especially compared to other places. I like their chicken maple sausage and their home fries. A plus....they have chalula hot sauce! Silver Diner is a good spot for family and obviously you can walk around Rio when you're done...there's plenty to do.

Angel P.

Yelp
Silver Diner is a chain with a number of locations in Maryland, and other states. This is the first time I've ate at the chain and I left a bit disappointed. It could have been my mistake to get non-breakfast food. I got the tropical mimosa (only $6.99 before 4:00pm with an entree on the weekend) and the fried chicken sandwich. My partner got the chicken and waffles. The same chicken was used for both dishes and it wasn't good. The chicken didn't taste fried, more like baked. The chicken sandwich was ok, I wouldn't get it again. The waffle for the chicken and waffles was soft and got super soggy. The only part of the meal I enjoyed was the tropical mimosa. It was busy on a Sunday afternoon, and we were seated within 5 min when we were told it would be a 15-20 min wait. Our waiter would check on us once in awhile and did a good job despite it being busy.

Craig H.

Yelp
Excellent service and short wait time even though the place was packed. Food was very good with generous portions. Definitely coming back!

Mark C.

Yelp
Accepts both cash and credit card. Tons of free parking in the shopping center. Right by the boardwalk. Located within the Rio. If you are familiar with the Dave and Busters and the AMC Rio Theater, it is nearby. They do offer both indoor and outdoor dining at the time of this review. We came here one weekend and decided to give this place a try. The Silver Diner is a chain business so we were familiar with the type of food they offer. We ordered their club sandwich which comes with a side. We tried the spinach and it was pretty good. The sandwich itself was prepared nicely. Decent portion in terms of meat to bread ratio. We also order their grilled fish with came with a side of cous cous and garlic asparagus. The portion was decent and the grilled fish was well seasoned. The customer service was very attentive. If you are in the area, worth giving this place a try. If you are familiar with the Silver Diner chains, you know the food is decent.

Yelp
The food here was delicious and the servers were very nice - especially since it was a holiday. I got the chicken pot pie and my boyfriend got the Turkey dinner. Both very good.
