This place is always busy. Yet everyone is super friendly. To don't feel rushed when eating. They know everyone's names and order. Bianca is super friendly and helpful in the front. You arent going to a 5 star place. You are going to a family owned cafe that has ties to the community. I absolutely love their burgers, onion rings, and omletes. The coffee is good as well. The price point is the best in the area.

I did have a bad experience couple times. After not visiting for a bit I gave them another chance. I just want to say thank you for making sure you guys went above and beyond to make my order is correct and that we have no issues moving forward. Thank you and I had to go back again the food is too good lol !

It was my second time eating here and it was a great experience as the first time. Delicious sandwiches where you can customize it with your choice of bread. Friendly and courteous staff. Great spot for a quiet lunch. Highly recommend.

I was so excited to find this cute little cafe when I moved to the area. The first time I came I had breakfast with my daughter and we loved it. I then called in for pick up the next time and they messed up my order. I understand things happen so I didn’t make a big deal. Continued to order from here and still ever single time something is wrong with my order. The lady who takes ur order reads the order back to you the same way so I’m not sure where the misunderstanding is coming from. I don’t know why I continue to order from here because it’s so frustrating. I wish there was another deli, cafe closer!

We were walking on Lake Street and heading towards Silver Lake when we wandered into the Silver Lake Cafe & Grill. We were thrilled to see that they sell Longford’s ice cream! We are huge fans of Longford’s ice cream and it’s much closer to walk or drive to the Silver Lake Cafe than to drive to Rye or Larchmont!

Terrible, ordered a ham and cheese hero. The ham was cut thick, barely any meat inside. Not worth the 12 dollars +tax I paid for. The best part of my meal was the deep River chips. If you like cold cut sandwiches, this is not the place to eat.

Love this place! I attend Fordham nearby and always try to make an effort to grab a quick bite and my favorite natural juice (beet retreat). They have the BEST lentil sausage soup I've ever had. The staff is typically friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back.

Came here for a quick bite after a hospital visit and everything we ordered was super good! We were very pleasantly surprised, the sandwiches aren't only delicious but they are also quite stacked. It was busy but we didnt have to wait long at all. Would definitely recommend. My only gripe is that the menu seems outdated, since we ended up getting charged at least 5 dollars more than we anticipated.

Food is ok, but I ordered a turkey wedge and they made it on a roll and caught the mistake before handing it to me. She took everything off the roll and just put it on the wedge right in front of me. No extra meat or anything else and charged me for the wedge price. Won't be back

Great little cafe on the way to Pepsi-co park. They've got indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of parking out front. The sandwiches are large enough to share and the fries and onion rings are perfect. They've got an extensive breakfast, sandwich and salad menu as well as coffee and espresso drinks, a smoothie bar and ice cream! I know where to come when I'm in need of an easy lunch.

This is my "go to" place for breakfast on the weekends and sometimes lunch during the week. Portions are generous, food is delicious, service is friendly, and prices are good. Definitely worth a visit.

The typical New York City breakfast: something fast and greasy, brown and starchy. Westchester has it too- with a few nicer add-ons. Take for instance Silver Lake Cafe on Taylor Sq. in West Harrison. This is an almost all-in-one stop for breakfast, lunch, prepared fruit cups, yogurt, smoothies AND fresh pressed juices. You can comfortably place your order because you don't get the crowds in the summer months- but I could easily see Silver Lake C. getting jammed-pack in the morning peak hours when many go back to work and head to school in September. There's a large marble counter practically from front of the window to the other side by the fruits cups+yogurt. The pace is calm- but know what you want and try not to stall. Service was nice and price was good too. My large fresh-pressed juice was tasty and so was my hefty Roasted Veggie+Pesto +Fresh Mozzarella panini. The rundown? One side of the bread sopped up all that pesto goodness and on the other, the roasted veggie marinade gave the massive sandwich a delicious bite. Whether it's a fresh-pressed juice or a panini or anything else, meals are substantial.

This is a cute local place in Harrison, the service was great, but the onion rings were amazing !!!

I came here after work because I have been craving a quesadilla. As you can see the portions are generous. It tasted as good as it looked and the staff is just as friendly in the evening as they are in the daytime.

Never a disappointment. The food is fabulous. We have their food delivered quite often. The portions are a very good size. The food is always hot. We love it!

Had an early flight (like the get up at 3am kinda early) to White Plains and wasn't able to get coffee at the airport. So, once I landed, to say I needed coffee is a slight understatement. I was on a coffee mission! Found this spot was only 10 minutes or so from the airport and so drove immediately here. They have an espresso machine but it's seems more of a side note rather than the main event (ie: it's a grill/cafe that happens to have coffee drinks, not a coffee house/shop). Happily, though, I was able to get a caramel latte, which was a solid good. For a breakfast bit, I got the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. It was a fried egg and american cheese on a soft roll. It was also good. There are a few tables to dine in if you choose. In addition to diner fare, they also have a small ice cream counter for dessert. The service was delightful!

Ive been coming here for years and while the staff are always friendly, this place has gone downhill. Their prices are outrageous for the quality of the food. I was charged 29 dollars for 2 paninis! They dont put any sides with it or extras. The panini was swimming in oil, ( check the photo ive attached ) couldnt even eat it, it went in the garbage. I understand inflation has caused everything to go up, but there are still much more affordable restaurants to eat at in this area. It saddens me to say that I will never return to this establishment.

I've been a regular customer for years. My favorites are the avocado toast, the BLT bagel, vegetable omelet, tuna salad wrap with provolone, and the vegetable quesadillas. The BEC is served on a Portuguese roll (I think) for a change of pace. Everything is fresh, portions are generous, prices are fair, coffee is good, and the staff are friendly and will go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your meal. Eat in or take out - it can get crowded. I'm lucky to have such a great option so close to home. This place is much more then a greasy spoon.

Silver Lake Cafe and Grill is a fantastic cafe and sandwich restaurant where you can get fabulous sandwiches and salads as well as phenomenal omelettes and other breakfast items. They also sell Longford's homemade ice cream! I have driven to Silver Lake Cafe and Grill to enjoy their exceptional sandwiches and great desserts. Is few days ago I had one of the most delicious tuna melts with cheddar cheese on an English muffin!

Food was outstanding- we each got a "wedge" which is like a grilled wrap. Service was quick, friendly. Dining area was what you'd expect from a sandwich shop. Not a big place so "dining in" was a gamble.

47 bucks for 3 of the smallest portion of a sandwich I've ever seen, and a juice. got all 3 orders wrong. And was done in 2 bites it was so small. How do they get away with this?!? Would never give this place my business again. These reviews have to be fake.

This is a solid little shop in West Harrison. I came here with hubbs for an impromptu lunch date because it's very close to his job and he had limited time to spend with me. Since I had gone for a run before meeting up with him, I was very happy to see that they offer freshly made juices and smoothies and I ordered Carita's Juice which definitely hit the spot. I also had their Beef Barley Soup which was slightly salty but I'll chalk that up to my heightened spidey senses since becoming newly pregified. Since I couldn't make up my mind completely, I also had a simple Grilled Cheese with which I was completely satisfied. The best part is that their portions are pretty big so I was able to take half of everything home for a meal the next day. Hubby had a nice twist on an old fave, his Tuna Melt bit they serve it open faced on an English Muffin with Bacon and he really liked that. Silver Lake was a nice change to where we usually visit on our mini lunch dates and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Chicken salad is very good, whether you get it as a sandwich or in bulk for carry out. Large selection of breads to go with the large selection of sandwiches too. Service is pretty fast considering the large number of dine in and carry out customers. They will customize orders to customer requests as well, so that takes additional time too. Employees all friendly, competent, and efficient. Place is clean, old, and quite small for the amount of business they do. Highly recommend!

Solid breakfast spot. Ordered the avocado toast and the veggie omelette and was not disappointed. The amount of food compared to the price was generous as a native New Yorker. We decided to dine in and the staff person brought out the food to us which was nice and not expected. I would recommend coming here for a quick and delicious breakfast :)

Great experience at SLC. Small place but worth the time. I ordered the pastrami on rye and it was delicious. The three others in my group all ordered different lunches and all were satisfied. The only draw back was the size of my sandwich and it did not come with chips or a salad which can be order separately but it was all tasty.

My boyfriend took me for a helicopter ride near by and we wanted to stop for a quick bite to eat before our trip. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was so good. I think that was the best avocado toast with egg whites I've ever had. Fresh and tasty. Too bad I don't live near by.

My other Deli didn't have my order so I decided to come here. Food was great. Service is terrible. I go in to order with a kind lady and I told her I would be waiting outside because of my dog. 10 minutes later when I go to pick up my food the "manager" on duty rudely says "I'll bring ur food you can wait outside" Didn't even bother asking if my dog was a service animal or any further questions. Professionalism at its lowest. However, my food was ready so he handed it to me and rudely ask me if I paid three times while I'm emphasizing to him that I did. I understand that I'm young but I expected better service. I work at a restaurant and this would never be ok. It was an Hispanic guy with glasses. If I see him, I'm not stepping foot in there.

The place is turning out consistently good food. Their chicken cutlets are amazing and so are their salads. Get number 34. Everyone that works there is friendly too. Francisco is the man!

Wow they have Gluten free dough. But we ordered a large regular. It was so good . Had it delivered and it was still hot. Easy order.

Little Cute Place with such a delicious breakfast. They had a variety on their menu, restaurant was very clean and everything was an order. I just went for a quick short stop and had a Bagel and it was very good.

Exciting and diverse good options. Something for everyone. Sandwiches, dinners, soups, salads, ice cream, coffee, etc. I had chicken and spicy Thai noodles over a need of fresh greens. I'm still crying in joy over the flavor combination. Nice and light selection that had a prefect paired Thai peanut sauce and slightly spicy noodles. Everything is very fresh. The staff is extremely friendly as well. They seem to have a lot of regulars and call them all by name. Excellent all around.

Was in the mood for a lazy morning of breakfast in bed after a hard work week, they were open early, delivered fast, and were generous enough to venture out of their delivery zone for me. The food was hot and the chocolate chip pancakes were huge, fluffy and delicious. Egg, ham and cheese was great too.

Greatest strawberry ice-cream right under Coldstone! I am a connoisseur of Strawberry Ice Creams due to a limited diet resulting from an emergency lap band 7 years ago (long story was put in and fully covered due to a horrible case of sleep apnea) lol and 1 currently rate Strawberry Ice creams from all over! Right now after living in West Harrison SIX YEARS lol they are currently rated 2out of 17 covering NYState And Montreal and Florida ( All the places I have been AFTER developing this addiction/ necessity for everything Strawberry (mainly ice cream and muscle milk or ANY NUTRITIONAL SHAKE/drink/ etc lol) so suffice it to say if you truly LOVE GOOD STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM, this place is for you! Been coming here for a few years at least 3 days a week sometimes 2 times a day. Nice small down feel, food is very fresh. All of it is GREAT! It's close to self serve so don't come for service. The order takers are very nice, they take your order, food get made and your name gets called. You eat and bus your own table. But the food and atmosphere is good you barely notice. Tables inside and outside. The owner Steve is typically around and welcoming. Don't miss I! Highly recommend

My favorite place to eat! They have amazing choices and never disappoint. Food is freshly made and the soup is amazing. Highly recommend the lentil or chicken noodle. I go every morning for coffee and everyone there is very nice.

Great little cafe! Stopped by for a quick breakfast. I got a special from the board which had a lettuce base topped with an egg bacon and perfectly buttered toast. Nice and light start to the day! Everything was very fresh and tasty. Also, we got a bacon egg and cheese and two coffees, for under $15! Very reasonably priced, employees were very nice, no complaints here. Will be back for lunch soon!

Great place for a quick bite. Plenty of seating if you want to eat here. Quick friendly service and great prices. Get a juice if you are here, highly recommend the carita cleanse with pear, lake, apples, cucumber, celery. It's counter service, so order your food and wait to be called. They also have some langford's ice cream, so stick around for a scoop or two. Good for kids and groups.

I've been here twice so far, and I just had a cappuccino both times. I haven't tried any of their food yet, but it all looks pretty fresh, which must be why they get so busy during lunch hour. This is the only place that serves coffee within walking distance from where I live, so ill be coming here to study quite often. Definitely not a place I would bother driving to.

Great cup of espresso! It was as if I was back in Europe. Also the environment was very welcoming. Wish I took a picture but I was enjoying my time so much I forgot about my phone.
