The food is decent at Silver Moon. The food is pricey for what you get. For a breakfast platter with eggs, your choice of protein, fried potatoes and a side of sausage… my order was almost $30. No way should a breakfast platter with a bagel upgrade cost that much but I wanted to give this place a try anyway. I’ve personally had good breakfast from them and dessert in the past so I can’t speak on their lunch or dinner but a family friend ordered food through doordash last night and I’m so disappointed, the grilled chicken had no flavor and my chips were stale. Please put more effort into adding flavor when cooking a healthy made meal, don’t put less effort into it

My cheese eggs was a NO ! So I get a carry out and ordered hash browns which was very good and crisp and then I got French toast bacon and scramble eggs with cheese… so I open the container and the cheese is mended not melted on top of the eggs I shall say. Cause I asked for scramble eggs with chees but I got a blanket of unmelted what kind of cheese is this kind of thing. So nope … no more cheese eggs for me . The French toast was amazing though. It was like a 5star type French toast , bacon… it was ok just not crispy enough….. I’ll try again and see if the chef can make it better for me .

I ordered a shrimp cheesesteak and I was not disappointed. I did add mushrooms and mushrooms if they had of sautéed them the sub would have been even more tastier. Overall I still give them 5 stars

The pita could be a lil more fresh and if the gyro meat was not cooked as hard and the onions you can't taste them. I wanna taste the onion on my gyro It was ok but could be better and the Wings were ok id order again.

Please be careful when placing an order they will over charge you BEWARE COUNT YOUR MONEY UNDERSTAND THE PRICES FOR A PLATTER VS IF YOU ARW A PORTION EATTER. They get really angry because you choose how much to consume thinking you trying to be cheap because you don’t want a platter told me it’s the same price i walked out. Will be calling the state to investigate there practices.

Bro I just want a good cheesesteak. Why was this not steak at all and instead ground beef. Why was it soaked in mayonnaise. Most importantly, WHERE WAS THE "CHEESE" ON MY CHEESESTEAK. Genuine waste of money. Places like these that serve a million items rarely have something of quality to offer. At the very least, the two pretty ladies at the front were very very nice.

Food was absolutely delicious! Waffle was crispy outside and soft inside, nice buttery flavor. I wish I had more eggs but otherwise everything was great! I will definitely be ordering again for sure.

Silver Moon 1 is a wonderful spot with delicious food and attentive service. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations for someone with food allergies. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. It's clear they take pride in what they do. The only reason it's not a full five stars is that I asked for my food to be well done, but overall my daughter and I enjoyed our food --I'd definitely come back!

My delivery order from this restaurant is the worst I've ever had. I never got to try any of the food because of the horrible "surprise" that came with the food. The roach in the picture jumped out of the paper delivery bag (scaring both me and my cat) when I took out my food and found its way to my cat's litterbox. I already filed a health complaint with the City and with GrubHub. The bag was stapled closed so I find it improbable that the roach appeared after the food left the restaurant, so if they try to pin this on the delivery driver, don't fall for it. If you value your health, avoid this place!

This late night spot came through in the clutch! They close at 3 a.m. Woot! After being out at a CIAA event, we were hungry and decided to come here to get food. This is definitely just a carryout. No dining in here! There were quite a few people waiting for orders. I got the chicken sub with fries and a drink. It worked out better to get a combo. They said 15 minutes, so we went back to the car to wait until it was ready. You get alot of food but it's a tad pricey. The service wasn't too bad, but they forgot my "hots" for my sub! This isn't enough to stop me from coming back again!

The food here is great, especially the Honey Old Bay Wings. The dessert are varied and delicious too. Especially the Oreo Pie.

Food is of such poor quality. The Maryland crab soup is so bland and oily. Absolutely no flavor. I ordered a Caesar salad with no chicken & received just lettuce. I just don't understand how one can get work in a food industry and think that this is okay... This is unacceptable. On top of that, my order was missing a can of soda. The positive menu items are the crab cake (although it was $30) and the fried haddock submarine. I would highly suggest checking your order before leaving.

This place is good for a quick breakfast sandwich, or sub, or Stromboli if you will... Friendly service too.

Ordered food on DoorDash. Ordering was simple and the estimated time was quick. The food took a bit longer than estimated, but it still came in good time. GLOWS: -Honey old bay wings were good (not too salty or too sticky) - Overall the cheesesteak sub was good - Good fries GROWS: - The cheesesteak bread was a little soggy. Might have been from the delivery process - Some wings were small, but I feel like overall a decent amount was given.

Honestly so good. Came asap. The max and cheese was honestly really good and cheesy. The chicken tenders were crunchy and yummy. The turkey club was just perfection.

Tons of crab in the soup. Crab Benedict was good. When I asked for ketchup for my home fries, they poured ketchup on themselves. I thought that was pretty weird but the potatoes tasted like homemade fried taters after I sorted they the ketchup. When delivered, it was super hot and fresh.

I've tried this place twice. I recall little about the first time, so it was neither good nor bad. It just happened to be right beside the hospital, it was early, and I needed a quick bite. I tried it again tonight because I was tired. I should have stopped at Taco Bell, or the Royal Farms across from the casino, or maybe even the bus station beside the casino. ANYTHING would have been better than the slop I was sold tonight. It was a steak quesadilla that was laden with gristle and -- get this -- American cheesefood slices! (You can even see a the slice's edges and a corner in the picture I've posted.) It was all stuffed inside the greasiest tortilla ever. They don't have cilantro to make pico de gallo, they don't have guacamole, and the ketchupy shit they call "salsa" is, well, shit. Eleven dollars for shit that I would not have eaten on Skid Row or the Bowery when it was a homeless haven. I threw it away, and vowed never to go there again. It's a good thing there's a hospital right beside it, and cops hanging out most the time, because this shit will probably give you food poisoning or worse.

Ordered food via door dash. Was delivery quickly and timely. Got the Greek salad with anchovies and no olives. Was surprised there was not an option to get Greek dressing so I got the Caesar dressing. Salad was fresh and tasty but was on the warm side because it was placed right on top the steak and eggs. Salas had plenty of feta and onions, the lettuce and bell peppers were crisp. The steak and eggs was cooked to the correct temperature but needed a little more seasoning. Scrambled eggs and potatoes were really good.

Number one the food was not seasoned so it left the entire meal very bland. Number two on their website this list is steak and eggs and hashbrowns but this looks just like a bowl full of slop. i can't even eat this at all. Putrid. Don't recommend.

The food has been going further and further downhill. I ordered 2 steak egg and cheese on a bagel. There was egg shells in my eggs and they put one strip of steakum meat on it. They were $8 a piece. This is my 2nd review about the quality of their food now. It's not worth the money.

Why would you put pancakes on top of cheesy eggs! Why!? If your door dashing they do not care AT ALL about your food! Why wouldn't you pack the pancakes separately!? Who wants to eat pancakes that have cheese on them!

Food is fine. Older woman with the glasses in front taking order has one of the most stank attitudes I've ever come across. Learn some hospitality. Won't be going back.

I loved this place in the 90's but they don't care anymore. It's always a hit or miss with this place.

Silver Moon has been a stable for satisfying last night cravings for years, since my high school years. On my recent 2 visits I stopped in during the daytime and every evening. In my first go I ordered a Cheesesteak sub with everything and provolone cheese. It was okay, just okay. Not as meaty as meaty or flavorful as I remembered. A few days later I tried a chicken cheesesteak, this time with everything on the side. I just wanted it dry because the condiments, lettuce, tomato and mayo were just a little too warm for my liking on the steak sub. This time the meat was so salty I could only eat half the sandwich. Bummer! Again, still a stable, open until 3am. Lots of options!!

This is one of my favorite food spots! I can order pizza today and my kid got chicken tenders and fries can't forget my pie.. there food is delicious and the dessert are even better I can't forget about the sweet tea YUMMY ( on my fat girl ISH)

Food is great , service isn't so great. I love the people who work there , they just don't listen well. Every time I order there's something missing or something wasn't rung up. It's sickening. The food is great but please go over your orders with people to confirm they hear you correctly & check your items before you leave to make sure you have your condiments It's really hit or miss here though. Not reliable for every day satisfaction Prices are pretty reasonable too

No just no the sub that I thought I bought was trash it was a chopped sausage. There was more onions on this thing then anything else. It was slop put together and the service was just a lousy . Definitely not a comfortable spot it's a hurry up and get out

My breakfast meal was horrible. The potatoes were bland, my juice order was incorrect, and there was no jelly included even though I asked for it.

I've eat here a few times and it was as only out of convenience, even thought they'd miss certain things out of my order, I'd still go back... until today. First things first, each time I go in there, no one has masks or gloves on while cooking the food! It's very disheartening to see someones bare thumb in my food. But the cherry on top was when I received a PINK BURGER, I actually thought I was going to throw up. just awful. Eat here at your own risk

Eh. I ordered this meal over the phone. I was delighted with the amount of seemingly delicious options they had. I was saddened when the service was garbage, along with the food. The salad wasn't bad but the salmon in it did not taste real at all.

The food was great , Yes delivery package is very well nothing missing at all will order again from them

Basically a take away version of an all American diner. There were four tables available for sit in dinning, but the lack of decor and musky vibe really opposed that option. The menu was extensive. It covered pasta, burgers, subs, sandwiches, finger foods, seafoods, steaks, chicken, meat/veggie plates, pizza, cakes, and pies. Everything were cooked on ordering. Our party of two shared a Maryland crab soup, seafood scampi, and red velvet cake. The foods were filling, definitely satisfied our hunger. The quality of taste was just a little above ordinary. The soup was too spicy for our liking. Cake tasted like the frozen kind from grocery store. The seafood scampi was actually pretty tasty with good amount of seafoods. We would eat here again if we needed a quick and filling meal at an affordable price. It helps that Silver Moon stays up till 3 a.m.

My order was completely wrong! The only thing that was edible was the greasy as cardboard pizza. But my stuffed shrimp was the nastiest thing on the planet. The steamed shrimp was tossed in onion and pepper for what reason I don't know . The green beans was so so nasty and I kept choking on sticks from poor cleaning. And lastly those dry ass mashed potatoes with no seasoning at all

Lamb gyro was a great snack for lunch - came with chips and a pickle. Super close to proton center and umd, and they take pick up orders so you don't have to wait around if you are pressed for time. Bathroom was pretty gross, but at least it has one.

Boyfriend took me to this place for the first time and the chicken was so good. They also had a nice selection of cakes and cheesecakes at reasonable prices. I would recommend this spot if you are in the area.

This evening was my first time ordering. I ordered the honey old bay wings. I requested all flats which was ignored, they were fried ridiculously hard with little seasoning and so small that I almost called the restaurant personally to complain. I highly doubt I'll be ordering again.

Hole in the wall place with great service & food even late at night! Best home fries in town.

So where to begin...I ordered a very large order for me and my family of 5 and ordered through DoorDash. When my order arrived, I was presented with half of my order that was correct, a few items made incorrectly and 3 Items I haven't received at all...I contacted DoorDash and they told me that there was nothing I could do about re-compensation because of the order amount and that it would have to go into review...I contacted the store and the guy at the store was being a jerk about it as if he knew he was right rather than listening to my concerns...if something is to be done here, I'd like it to be a team meeting with your store managers about customer service

I accidentally walked in this place because I saw an awesome spread of desserts in the window. I was on my way back to my hotel and decided to stop in. I ordered a traditional Gyro and a Greek Salad. This place was over the top. The lady at the front desk called everyone honey which was very endearing. The food was just as good as the service. I also ordered a slice of lemon, coconut cake. The best. I'm glad I walked by. Too bad I'm just visiting otherwise I'd be here all the time.

I order here alot idk what else to say but im consistent. Ummmmm dont get the steak but everything else be hittin sum crazy

Great spot for that late night munchie-fix. I usually end up at Silver Moon between 1-3am, when I'm stoned and craving a good sub. I typically order the chicken cheese steak combo with fries and a drink. Don't remember what it costs but judging by how often I eat here it's probably not expensive. I have some friends from DC that I've brought here also and they absolutely love the subs and late night convenience. Haven't had any other menu items so I couldn't make any other suggestions on what to order but my food is always ready in about 10 mins, 15 mins max and always hot. Service is average carry out service but I've never had a bad experience with them. Happy to continue supporting this business.

This was my first time trying them. My husband and both ordered shrimp cheesesteaks. Although they were good, they forgot to put shrimp on them. I was so upset because we paid $2 extra for shrimp. I will try them again though, but if my order is not right next time, that will be my last.

Recently ordered wings, mac & cheese, coleslaw, and a grilled corn beef rueben sandwich from Silver Moon 1. Suffice to say all went into the trash. The wings were old and dry (and definitely were not fried the day I ordered them), the mac & cheese had a unpleasant sour smell like it was spoiled, the coleslaw had a grayish dingy appearance (who would eat that), and the grilled reuben was soggy as hell! Was totally disgusted with the food quality, waste of money, and will not be ordering from Silver Moon 1 again.

I chose this as a late night dinner quick fix and ordered 3 reubens. I was asked if i wanted it on wheat or white which was the first red flag seeing as reubens are customarily served on rye. Our order was taken but when we arrived we where told they didn't have the dressing for the sandwich or the sauerkraut and that it would be served with lettuce and tomato which was basically the corned beef sandwich which was priced cheaper. We decided to just grab the menu and choose something else, but when we returned to the counter to place our new order we were denied service. Working in the food service area as a chef i was completely livid because they denied us service because of their lack of knowledge of menu items and were completely unreasonable. From the time we disagreed with there version of what they wanted us to pay for there was an instant attitude from the women who took our order. Customer service is a must and a knowledge of what you're selling most definitely helps. I will not be recommending this place to anyone not because of the lack of menu knowledge or poor customer service but because of the level of tackiness shown by our order taker. She could have totally switched the situation for the betterment of the restaurant if she was willing to find out what we wanted instead of telling us what they chose to give us.

Worst dam omelette and home fries I ever had. Omelette was dry and I had tomatoes in it, very bland and bland hard potatoes. People keep saying they have good food but after this 1st experience getting their food I won't be taking a chance on anything else. What a huge disappointment!!

Really good food. The shrimp cheese steak is great. Don't get confused by the Silver Moon in East Baltimore. The food there is not the same.

New management, food and prices are satisfying. My go to spot for breakfast and sometime lunch.

Their bacon, egg & cheese breakfast sandwich is delicious. Their side of grits is a meal in itself.

During my last visit I called a order. After I paid for my order I checked the the order to maker sure it was as I requested. The fries were missing salt and pepper and extra gravy on them as I requested. When I brought those missing things to the young man at the register attention and asked him to add them he began to debate with me and say it has a lot of gravy on it. Now I didn't ask for his opinion all he had to do was keep quiet or say ok and have them added. He then came back to the counter still no salt and pepper. He continued to complain that the container was overflowing with gravy. It was common sense to not overflow the container. I asked him to add the salt and pepper again he then added some to the gravy on top. As he was doing so he still was complaining about adding the extra gravy then said to me next time i will charge you extra and put it on the side. I tried to keep my cool because I've been coming here for years and never have I ever had rude service like this. I told him the order was not for him I requested my order the way I wanted for me. I didn't ask him for his opinion and he shouldn't be debating with customers. Then I walked out. I don't know if I will be going back. That service at that location has gotten worse and worse.

This place is absolutely disgusting. I threw up standing outside the restaurant because all I could smell was grease. They prepare the food with no gloves and the food smells like garbage before you even eat it. Also there will be lots of cops sitting around eating there so that's how you know this place is terrible. You can't walk into this place without holding your nose.

I got the chicken noodle soup and it was ok. The broth was good, and the noodles were ok. Their was no ac so I was dripping in sweat while eating my soup, but the people working their were super nice!

This hidden gem is right across from the Pharmacy school. Their specialty is cheesesteaks but they have all sorts of college kid friendly food (pizza, wings, burgers, subs...the college diet). Their prices are decent. $6 for a cheesesteak. They add lettuce, tomatoes, fried onions, mayo, pickles, and hots if you want. I usually get it without hots because it gets too messy with it. Pass on the fries, they're crap. But, if you get their fries and cream of crab soup, it is awesome. The soup is a bit salty but add the fries and it is perfect. And theirs actually big crab chunks in the soup! Their gyro is pretty good too if you wanna go the healthy route. Overall good food at student friendly prices. They're open til 12 weekdays and til 3 am weekends except sunday. Just be careful if you go there at nite, the area around their is sketchhyyyy.

Lots of options and well priced. Only issue is that anything that can be over-salted is WAY over-salted. The soup would be perfect if there was not so much salt. Stick with salads or things that you can ask to not have salted (like cheesesteaks).

Five stars for this little take out/eat-in. We passed this place 4 times, before settling on it. (We couldn't find the place we were looking for and were now disparate.) Silver Moon posts burgers and salads in their windows, but their menu is extensive and includes Italian food. The cheese burger is made to order, the Rueben was remarkable. I loved the kid taking our order, and loved his shouting the order back to the cook. The neighborhood looks dodgy to someone not familiar with Baltimore, but we had no trouble walking there from our hotel after dark.
