Google
I was really impressed by this cute little hotel. Had a cute pool, our rooms were very clean and had everything we needed, and the front desk was courteous and attentive. Not every hotel is worth a review. But this place was really great! The location was also very close to Duvall Street and within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and coffee places that we like. Highly recommended

Google
While visiting Key West Florida, I found this gem of a place that was quite nice and very accommodating. The suite was large with a small balcony that you could sit on and enjoy the ocean breeze in the evening. We were within walking distance of everything, and it also had free covered parking. Our mornings started with a continental breakfast that had loads of options, including made to order omelets that were cooked right in front of you. The pool area was nice and also very accommodating. Staff at this hotel were polite, courteous, and professional. Offering assistance and information about all that the island had to offer during our stay. I booked online, and the rate was considerably cheaper than most other places I had viewed, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but in the end, they exceeded all of our expectations.

Google
Positive: A resort in the middle of Key West! Duval Street was within easy walking distance, so no issue with parking downtown. The entire staff was friendly and attentive, and kept the resort very clean and well-maintained. The omelet-to-order was delicious! Negative: ""

Google
Fantastic Stay – Exceeded All Expectations! We had an amazing time at this hotel in Key West! It truly exceeded our expectations in every way. The location was perfect — just a short walk to both downtown and the beach, with plenty of tourist attractions nearby. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the pool area was absolutely beautiful — a great place to relax after a day of exploring. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Key West!

Google
Beautiful hotel in a great spot, except the garbage trucks roll in bright & early at 4:00 AM! Perfect place for early risers lol. Other than that staff were great, but it’s no fun being woken up early on vacation.

Google
This was a swings and roundabout experience. We expected a rubbish little room which turned out to be large, lovely and clean. The front desk was very helpful but unfortunately he told us breakfast started at 7 and considering we wanted an early start it sounded good. After a very long day we wanted a good night sleep in a comfortable bed but we were woken at 0510 by the garbage truck outside our window and decided to suck it up and leave earlier than planned. We waited just a little longer so we could grab a quick breakfast only to be told it actually started at 8 not 7. We were a tad annoyed as we could have been on the road an hour earlier.

Google
Great room - it was very clean, quiet and the air conditioning was cold! The beds were very comfortable as well. The breakfast is top tier - the made to order omelets were a great way to start your day. Very easy walking distance to Duval. Highly recommend!

Google
Loved our stay! The location was convenient walking distance to Duval Street and the north and south side of the island. The room was cleaned well every day. Friendly accommodating staff. Great amenities. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying here again!

Yelp
Relatively wonderful stay. Clean, spacious, nice and cool. Loved the toilet and shower being in a separate room than the vanity. The bed was great! We also didn't hear others which was a blessing as we stayed the last weekend of spring break. The property wasn't anything to write home about but we didn't eat breakfast or go into the small pool. I wish the bottles of body wash and shampoo were attached to the wall and had a larger amount in them (they were tiny and we don't like our room cleaned while we are there.) One fyi - not a drawback if you're prepared. They don't want you using the wash cloths for makeup removal because of the precious resources it takes to get it out of the towels. Totally understandable. I don't prefer to use face wipes because it breaks me out and causes skin damage. I went to cvs and got micellar water and some cotton rounds.

Yelp
My husband and I recently stayed at the Silver Palms Inn. Our pros and cons: Pros: The staff were very nice Cons: The two lights in the bathroom were very, very dim and it is not a large bathroom The mattress was horrible, horrible, horrible!!! Lumpy, bumpy, squeaky, just horrible! I have arthritis in my spine and DDD (Disintegrating Disc Disease) and woke up every morning with a severe back ache and on the verge of tears. We couldn't change rooms as they were "sold out" The layout to the free breakfast was not conducive to quick or great service and the breakfast was very limited. The hotel must be near a hospital because the ambulances whizzing by the hotel with their siren screaming was constant throughout our stay......day and/or night. The hotel is also in the direct path of planes going to and from the airport. If you are looking to take a nap during the day or getting a good night's sleep, good luck! The air conditioner clicked off and on the entire night, it was a terrible nuisance. We will not be returning, very, very disappointed.

Yelp
I had a great visit. Very clean rooms. Very nice hotel. The staff is so nice and helpful. Fast bike ride to everything in town. Clean pool and guest area. Thank guys

Dawn Z.

Yelp
We had a wonderful stay at the Silver Palms. Clean, comfortable and quiet room and bed. Close enough to the action to walk but far enough away to not hear or smell the action. Staff were incredibly friendly. Omelette bar was a huge perk. Nice warm pool and comfortable pool furniture. I would definitely stay here again. I would suggest more umbrella options for poolside. The reason this isn't a 5 star....hit with a $50 per day "hotel fee" at checkin when I had already believed that I had already paid for the stay. Not cool to add on extra fees. Isn't the room rate the hotel fee?!? People are tired of nickel and dime or $50 fees tacked on. How about honesty and transparency...this is the price, period.

Yelp
Spacious colorful and comfortable room. Pool is nice. Breakfast is delicious. Good location. Enjoyable stay with friendly staff.

Ethan J.

Yelp
Truly an enjoyable place to stay while in Key West. The cleanliness of this place is top notch. Rooms were very nice and so was the pool/pool area. Omelette station for breakfast was a nice bonus. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Yelp
This will be our third time staying there in May of '24...This place will not disappoint you.Super clean and comfortable and quiet...100 yards away from the free trolly and you're on your way to Crazyville. The staff is professional and friendly and will help you out with anything you need or want.Planning a trip with the whole family next year and this is where we will stay.

Carolyn P.

Yelp
So impressed with this property! Service was exceptional! Excellent central location. Quiet, yet easy walk to lots of activity. Excellent free breakfast, lovely room and pool. Will definitely be back!

JJ W.

Yelp
Gem!. Clean. Excellent Location. Very reasonably priced. I would stay again. Important- it had parking. Which is nice. Very nice breakfast with omelette stand.

Yelp
We enjoyed our king room! It was cozy with a balcony. The pool area was small but nice and the pool was warm. The location is close to Duval Street, we rented a golf cart and got back and forth all over the island easily. The omelet station at breakfast was a nice touch. My friends in the room next to us had AC issues but they were resolved quickly.

Yelp
Centrally located on Truman Avenue, this is a great location to start exploring Key West from as it is within walking distance of many great attractions (Duval Street, Hemingway House, etc.). The room accommodations were nice (and there is an on-site pool) and everyone on the staff was very friendly. My family had a great stay here and we look forward to revisiting!
google avatar

Andrea T.

Yelp
The staff are exceptional! We have never been to a hotel like this where every single person working there was phenomenal! Also, the beds were comfy, rooms, pool area everything was very clean. For breakfast there were bagels, fruit, etc and a chef making omelettes to order. If we ever go Key West again we will absolutely stay here.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is amazing!! Very clean, rooms are spacious, staff is friendly, the whole property is non smoking, has great pool, and it's very close to the key west strip. We had a room on the 3rd floor and our room had more furniture than just a bed and tv. We also had a small balcony with chairs and a table. The toiletries had standard shampoo and body wash plus conditioner, lotion and make up wipes. The only downside of this hotel is that it's pretty pricey. We paid $310 a night at this place on the week days.

Yelp
5 out of 5. We've been coming out to key west for several years and by far this place has been the best so far. Friendly staff, rooms are very veryyyy clean and amazing . Price is reasonable as well. I'll be coming back from Now on. Thank you silver palms staff

Yelp
Very nice, clean, quiet place. Bathroom is a bit crammed with the shower and toilet but it works fine. Separate area for sink was nice while shower is occupied. Bathroom exhaust fan turns on but has zero effect, probably needs to be replaced. Ac was a "wet cold" which I'm sure is normal down here with the humidity, so I can't hold that against them. Tiled floor throughout is great. Overall, I would stay here again, it's hard to find a true negative which everyone looks for so it seems they go above to make a nice stay for guests. Free breakfast was great, especially the omelette bar! Room has a cute little balcony with not much of a view, but who's hanging out on the balcony anyway when you're in the heart of key west.
google avatar

Yelp
Highly recommended this hotel! We stayed here for 4 days and I have no bad reviews. The rooms were very clean, staff was awesome, and breakfast was good. It's in a perfect location to catch an Uber to do some sightseeing. The pool was never overcrowded, didn't have an issue with parking, and the resort fees are cheaper than most hotels. Only thing I wish is the pool bar was open later. I'm planing another trip to Key West and this is where I'll be staying

Yelp
We had a lovely stay though it was just for one night - very clean and the room was big enough for us . 20 min walk to the Mallory square and other market place. And the service is excellent . You get breakfast too, not elaborate , just enough to fill ur stomach in the morning .

Yelp
If a quiet room is important - stay elsewhere ! Between the non existent sound conditioning of the rooms. To the rooster crowing at 2am every couple minutes to the cavernous clanging of bathroom doors and ppl walking I don't think I got 10 winks of sleep my entire stay Room stuffy n small - they def need ceiling fans badly - and some furniture to dampen the room sounds down too ! Pool small - bar is a joke " the cheapest rum to mix drinks @ 10$ per- gave-me a slitting headache - cheap booze will do that :/ Never stay here again - horrible cont. breakfast :/ Not full service by any means ! This place for the money is a total SHIT hole ! ! !

Yelp
Wow. Rarely is a hotel 5 star worthy these days. This however, was our experience at Silver Palms Inn. 22-23 July 2018 stay. Pros: -We chose this property over another similarly priced competitor due to the fact that they do not charge for parking. The other property wanted $20 per night in addition to the room charge! -The reservation process was attentive, flawless and quick. -Real person right away. - Upon arrival the Front Office staff gave us immediate attention, was friendly, personable and well informed. We arrived early and they were able to have our room available within five minutes after completing the check-in process. Two drink coupons for the poolside Tiki hut stand. My wife mentioned during the lively check in conversation we were there celebrating our anniversary and upon arrival to the room, we had a personalized card and a bottle of champagne. Well done! -We found our room to be well appointed, modern and clean. No tub in ours, but a large bathroom, spacey room with an exterior balcony. -Staff smiled in friendly acknowledgment as you passed them in the corridor. Is this an Inn or The Ritz?! Special requests were handled diligently with a genuine effort to accommodate. The level of service and friendliness of the staff exceeded the expectations of the property category, no question and nice to experience. -The location, though not in the busy center of North Duval Street, is still in Old town. There are nice restaurants nearby and popular attractions like the Hemingway House and the Lighthouse Museum. -The property still has a "new" feel. It has the swimming pool in the center courtyard that shares the area with the parking spaces that are sheltered below the elevated buildings. You park in the shade. Cons: (Minor but worth mentioning) -Though nice, Silver Palms' grounds and building have a relatively generic albeit tropical presentation. You will not find the lush gardens with the distinctly Key West feel of some of the Old Town guest houses and lodges. The property is pleasant, but absent the distinct character of the island. -You won't be in the middle of it. Some attractions if not most will be a healthy 10-15 walk away -but it's still a walk and not Uber unless you choose to! Further, you can't go wrong walking along Old Town Key West. Conclusion: The property is very well run with a moderate price point that cannot be beat. It is apparently a family run business, which explains a lot. You will get an exceptional return on your dollars without paying the premium prices most trendy Key West properties demand these days. Silver Palms in our experience provided a memorable stay mostly due to their excellent staff, cleanliness and attractive property. It is still an Inn, but a very well run one. We will return, and as an example of how they master the details, you get a "thank you" discount as a return visitor! Just someone who likes to write it as he sees it;)

Yelp
Location, Location, Location! This Inn is in the perfect location -- walking distance to Duval, but not right there so you still have some peace and quiet. Stayed here for fantasy fest and it wasn't outrageously expensive, which we appreciated. All staff we encountered were super attentive, kind, and helpful! The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. There's covered parking included in the price (somewhat rare in Key West). Check-in was easy and friendly. We all got coupons for free sangria with check-in. There's a swimming pool in the center of the courtyard that has lights for the evening. Would happily stay here anytime I come to Key West!

Yelp
My significant other and I have stayed at many hotels/resorts in Key West and this location is by far one of our favorites! The rooms are extremely spacious and clean, the staff is kind and helpful, they have plenty of FREE parking, the resort fee is minimal. Just blocks from Duval. You can't beat the value of this hotel with any other in Key West!!! Peter at the front desk was there for most of our stay and was so accommodating, including gifting birthday champagne! We will recommend to all of our family and friends. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Kristen K.

Yelp
I will start by saying the location is great and the staff is very friendly. However you get what you pay for and in this case we would definitely upgrade to a better hotel next time. The room constantly smelled like cigarette smoke when we returned because the AC won't run while you are gone. The windows are so thin that we kept checking if they were actually open because the street noise was so loud. And the beds are terrible. The mattress topper was lumpy and the sheets were made of synthetic material that traps heat. We were waking up multiple times per night in sweat and I've never had such an issue at a hotel. It was constant switching between waking up in sweat and pushing sheets off and then freezing with no covers and AC blowing on you. Location is hard to beat and if you don't care about smell, noise or sleep, then price is great. Otherwise pay up so you can fully enjoy your vacation

Yelp
This by far is the best hotel we have stayed. The hotel staff was very attentive and welcoming. Checkin time was 3pm but we were able to check into our room at noon! When you arrive they give you a complimentary drink card where you can choose from a soda, sangria or bottled water from the pool bar! The room was very clean, smelled like clean linen and not a speckle go dust in sight. While lounging at the pool the pool attendant passed out smoothies and fresh fruits. Breakfast is served every morning 7-11 offering: fresh fruits, cereal, toast, orange juice and coffee. At checkout front desk clerk offered us bottles of water for the road! We will definitely be returning...sooner than later!

Yelp
This hotel was a nice little fine for the price. I have a very nice pool with a little waterfall. It was never overly crowded. The rooms are clean with white sheets and white comforters. The floors are all tiled so no carpeting which I prefer I feel like it's cleaner. They have a nice little breakfast buffet. I'm not a huge fan of any breakfast buffets but the one thing that made this one a little more exceptional or that I actually ate it for once was on Sundays they have a chef making omelettes to order by the pool. This is included in the free Continental breakfast. All the staff seemed amazing. Everyone was very helpful and kind. One day it was drizzling a little bit and they gave us two umbrellas to borrow. That was totally unexpected. I was traveling with a child who was wanting continental breakfast 24 seven. And they were very accommodating with giving him some of their packets of oatmeal to have when he asked. This is only a few blocks away from the main strip an easy walk. I enjoyed the location tremendously as it was very quiet at night yet about four blocks from the main strip and all the nightlife activity. The only thing that is lacking with this hotel obviously is beachfront. But the price is about half of what the beachfront properties charge and you can easily Uber or walk to a beach. One thing I would highly recommend I wish we had done is rent a bike right when you get there then you could bicycle everywhere my son would've truly loved that. I didn't think about it till our last day though. So if you're looking for a bargain and you don't want to spend 400 $500 a night this is a great hotel.

Sharon R.

Yelp
Definitely would not stay here again or recommend it. The lobby and our room smelled very musty, but we just ran to cvs up the street and bought some air freshener which helped in the room. Our room was on the Truman ave side and the road noise was SO loud all night! I'm a light sleeper and couldn't sleep all week. We did ask two times about switching rooms but we were told they were sold out (even though there was a sign out front saying "rooms available"). The second woman we asked was SUPER rude about it saying it was the room type we booked and therefor they didn't need to switch us, as if the room description advised me we'd have a ton of road noise. We were also "upgraded" at check in even though we did not ask for it, so we didn't even book the room type we were stuck in! The young woman who checked us in was super nice and the only pleasant part of our stay.
google avatar

Chuck S.

Yelp
Based on amenities, this property would not rate 5 stars, however, given their relative price point, access to Old Town, and staff who were always trying to be accommodating, you cannot go wrong here. This was half the price of the other properties and I highly recommend you book directly with them to safe the middleman fees of the websites. The only caveat is to make sure and not get a room on the Truman Avenue side because of the constant traffic noise. Between emergency vehicles and the non-stop vehicles with blairing radios, as well as a lot of Harleys, there is rarely an hour of the day when you don't hear this commotion. We enjoyed 10 days here and would return in the future.

Ben B.

Yelp
We stayed here for a few nights and loved this place a lot. Everyone there is so nice, all the workers are very helpful, everything is really clean and on point. Breakfast was awesome too. Whenever im in Key West i would only stop at Silver Palms Inn. Thank you guys!

Yelp
Great place!!! Have been here a few times And it's consistently nice and clean with great customer service. Great location and great price. Nothing to complain about. Good place to come with kids. They have a saltwater pool, not big, but good size. Big plus in my eyes

Yelp
Ducked in for a weekend vacation in Key West and things were great, here's why: * Free water when we checked out * Free Sangria by the pool bar upon check in * Great service and super staff * Great location right on Truman street and close enough to walk to Duval Street So I think the place used to be a Fairfield Inn or some such. It is a small property. The rooms are new and clean and well appointed but were overpriced, but it was season and the start of Spring Break so that is forgivable. The pool is nice, but tiny. The pool bar is nice, but is plastic and rolls away, so that is a little cheesy, but they did they best with what space they have. Beers and drinks were fairly priced, so that rocks. I dig the brushed metal artsy trim around the pool and property and the lil waterfal on the pool but that is is because they are tight for space. All in all, good stuff. Cabeza OUT.

Yelp
I stayed here recently and had a wonderful stay. This property is a steal as the location is ideal (a few blocks from Duval) and its in the $200 per night price range. The property is clean and well maintained and the pool area is inviting. Our room was spotless and nicely decorated. They provide a decent complimentary breakfast. There is adequate parking in a covered garage for your vehicle and a moped (if you choose to rent one). The front desk staff is welcoming and willing to help with directions and suggestions of things to do. They offer a coupon for one free drink per day. We relaxed by the pool while waiting for our room to be cleaned and the Jamaican bartender (I don't remember his name) was friendly and awesome! I highly recommend this place and look forward to staying here again.

Yelp
Silver Palms is. I first stayed here when they just opened and here again and again. Love the property. Very well maintained, clean and quiet. Walking distance to the places to see or a really quick short drive. Most parking spots are covered and safe. Staff is very nice. Love it.

Yelp
We travel from Fort Lauderdale with my family and I did call many hotels in key west before . But when I call the p Silver palm and I talk to front desk Peter (from Poland) I have no doubt that the silver palm hotel was the friendly and safe place to stay . Thanks Peter !!!!! We will be back soon

Yelp
Silver Palms Inn is an all-welcoming (i.e. LGBT guests will be comfortable here) boutique property that is just three blocks from Duval Street. And despite being open since 2010, they do a great job of keeping the property looking brand new. The guestrooms are all spacious and Key West chic. In addition, there is a nice size pool, a fitness room, dining area for complimentary breakfast, and wi-fi and on-site parking that is included with your room. I was also told they are planning some upgrades to the physical property and to guest services in the near future. It's also important to note that the room prices are very competitive (bordering on cheap). In regards to the handful of poor reviews, it was pretty clear to me when reading them that many of these folks were just bad guests and/or have no experience with other hotels in Key West (this was my 15th visit).
google avatar

Denise M.

Yelp
This was my 3rd time to KW and first time staying here. I usually like to switch up where I stay to see different places, but this hotel makes me want to stay there again. Hotel staff were so friendly! Rooms were clean and nicely appointed. I was in a superior king overlooking the pool. The pool area was very nice. Lots of lounge chairs, a few cabanas, tables & chairs, and a little tiki bar! You get a coupon for a free drink upon arrival. The front desk is manned 24/7. A few blocks off Duval but still walkable to most everywhere. Or have the front desk call you a cab... it will be there shortly. So many pros to this hotel.... you won't be disappointed here!
google avatar

Lily T.

Yelp
don't get all the hype about this hotel. There are a few things I don't like about this place, first, why is the pool open only from sunrise to sunset? What if people want to go for a swim after dinner? Why can't you bring food and drinks to the pool? The guests should have the option to bring food to the pool if they want and have the option to purchase alcohol at the pool bar or bring their own alcohol. The pool bar hours are short too. People are on vacation here! Third, why was coffee in the lobby only available during breakfast hour? Coffee is dirt cheap and should be available whenever people want Fourth, the city view balcony we got was a tiny balcony. Not much room for you to relax. And no view at all Fifth, the bathroom smelled very moldy. At first we thought it was because it was too wet but later realize the smell came from the drain. Sixth, the control for the ac is very hard to use and confusing! Last, the cable quality was awful. They had a flat screen TV but the picture quality was bad Putting all the bad aside, the good, the free parking was nice and they allowed us to check in early. Breakfast options was limited but enough options of different types of bread and pastries. Overall, I would suggest you to pay a little more and stay at Santa Maria around the area.

Yelp
Wonderful place to stay if you are looking to relax and get away from the noise of Duval. The staff is courteous, helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean and have a small balcony. This place is not big compared to the big chain hotels but they utilize their space wisely. The parking area is small but doable if you don't plan to use your car; everything is so close, you really don't need your vehicle. The pool area is small with plenty of seating but only two cabanas. The pool bar was a good attempt but odd in its location. Breakfast bar is smaller than I wished, too many sweet and cold items. I would have wanted warmer options. Toaster wasn't working during my stay - wish they would have improvised with a four slice toaster. Gym is small but with good machines. Hotel room is equipped with microwave, small fridge, disposable shower cap, makeup wipes and all your other regular items, but not a very good Coffee maker. Overall a great place to stay if you are not looking to spend too much time in your hotel facility. I would definitely return for a get away weekend.

Yelp
Great and economic hotel that is central. Duval is just a few blocks away. The only downside is you must insert the hotel key in a slot in order to use lights and AC so if you leave the room you must leave a hotel key behind in order to operate the AC. The breakfast was ok nothing too special but boiled eggs, fruit and cereal. However the employees were all very helpful and friendly

Kelly C.

Yelp
The room and property was so clean. It even smelled clean. The bed was firm, the towels were big. The staff was friendly. No extra charge for onsite parking. Week-end pricing was quite a bit higher than weekday. But it is everywhere.

Stacy F.

Yelp
Love this hotel. Staff is wonderful, friendly and accommodating! Rooms are spacious and very clean. Shower is amazing! Pool area is beautiful! Best thing is the location to Duval Street! I highly recommend and will stay here again!

Yelp
We stayed at the Silver Palms between Christmas and New Year's Eve. Pluses: Very Clean Smaller Friendly and Very Helpful staff Stylish (Loved the Decor) Newer Good Central Location (close to Duval, but not too close) Free Continental Breakfast Nice Pool Area. Free and Abundant Parking Eco-Friendly Nice big showers Minuses: A little on the high side price-wise. (Still worth it) All in all a great choice if you're staying on the island for a couple days. I'd absolutely stay here again if I head back down.

Yelp
By far one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had, we had an early morning tour planned even though check in is 4pm they let us park our vehicle and pre check in. After our tour we arrived at the hotel got from a long walk out key was ready they handed it to us and we went directly to our room. The next day at checkout we wanted to ride our bikes around key west and they informed us we can keep our vehicle there as long as we needed and let us hang at the pool too! They also provide a drink voucher which is amazing and gave us water at checkout. At check out they informed us of repeat discounts you can get as well. Just the nicest people every single person I spoke to was just the nicest! Rooms are very clean and perfect distance from everything! I would recommend to anyone and I will be returning! Thank you Silver Palms!

Yelp
I stayed at the Silver Palms Inn on my first trip to Key West from 8/2/11-8/4/11 and this hotel was a home run. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very well decorated. The continental breakfast was just about the best breakfast I've ever seen included at any hotel and consisted of croissants, pastries, and the usual cereal/toast/bagels/fruit. One especially nice touch was the large dispenser of fresh lemonade set out in the lobby everyday. The hotel itself was located few blocks off Duval St and almost at the other end from Mallory Square. The only downside is that it was probably about a 30 minute walk to Mallory Square, but that's hardly a deal breaker and I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Key West again.

Dorothy A.

Yelp
Just got home from a 4 day get away to Key West, Silver Palm was a great choice. Super clean, comfortable beds, great towels, continental breakfast each morning. No housekeeping due to COVID unless you request and are out of the room, totally understandable and appreciated My only disappointment I thought we were suppose to have a tiki bar, to have a cocktail by the pool however it was not open not sure why. Location was perfect a few minute walk to Duval and about 20 minutes to Mallory square... I would definitely stay here again

Yelp
I looked via Orbitz for a place to stay and found many hotels. This one looked close to Duval St. and showed a 3 star rating so I didn't expect this amazing Inn! I showed up and found on premise free parking which I didn't expect. The front desk had a motel type feel to it when I walked in but the desk agent was very nice and helpful. We got a room on the second floor and was pleasantly surprised at the great quality room! Very modern decor, a safe, coffee maker, small fridge, modern iron, flat screen/cable, closet and a small balcony overlooking Truman St. I heard a few motorcycles (loud Harley's) but it was fine. The pool area looked clean although I never used it. I saw a few people enjoying the pool. Continental breakfast is included but we went out to eat. Pricing is average for the area and you pay for the close proximity to Duval St. Duval is literally 2 blocks up. We walked there and up/down Duval. We got back every night after 1am and found the walk safe. I loved this place.

Yelp
Such a lovely hotel with even lovelier staff. Off the beaten path BUT the clean, well decorated rooms, nice pool (handicap equipped) and helpful staff make this gem worth it. This is our new 'go to' when we return to Key West in the future. 5 stars!!!

Yelp
Great stay and perfect location. The staff was very friendly which made check in very easy and our room was ready 1 1/2 hrs early, which we very much appreciated. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The free parking, bike racks and breakfast was great as well. We rode our bikes all over the island and this hotel was in the center of everything. We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Yelp
We had an amazing 3 night stay at the Silver Palms Inn this past weekend. It was a very last minute trip and we are so glad we ended up here! The close proximity (very easily walking distance) to Duval made it the perfect location to stay close to everything we wanted to do. The room was clean, the staff were so kind and accommodating, and the location and price is so hard to beat. The only thing I could say that's a little on the negative side is the parking inside the hotel sometimes gets full, or people park over the lines blocking spaces as it is quite tight. But, we still managed to find parking just be prepared that it is tight. They do provide a small selection for breakfast each day before 10am, and they do provide toiletries in the room. Overall, we will definitely be returning on our next trip to the Keys and we definitely recommend for anyone to stay here if you're looking for something walking distance to Duval!

Yelp
This may be one of my most favorite hotel experiences, ever. And, I am a seasoned traveler. This hotel is impeccably clean, well decorated with quiet rooms, comfortable beds. All white towels, sheets and comforters, no carpeting, nice wood floors. Lovely glass enclosed shower, separate bath area, dressing area. I had a very nice balcony overlooking the pool area. Ask for a balcony room overlooking the pool. Two elevators conveniently located for easy access. The pool is tended daily and is very clean. There's a lovely little tiki bar and I was given two free coupons for drinks upon my arrival. Sangria is excellent. They make it very easy to charge drinks and snacks to your room. Breakfast is typical hotel fare, bagels, toast, muffins, fruit etc. 24 hour coffee service. With its central location it is easy to walk to Duvall Street and many other locations. Very courteous staff. I highly recommend this hotel. Would stay here again anytime.

Yelp
The man who made our reservation and checked us in was very kind and friendly. The rooms were clean and hotel was cute. However, breakfast was another experience. I was getting 2 coffees, one for me and one for my husband. I was scolded by the women that worked in the breakfast area who said "you already have a coffee". I had to explain it was for my husband. Then I got an omelet. My husband came after me and got an omelet too but left the tip for both of us. My husband was told to come back for another. Instead I did and was told I could not have one. I'm guessing the chef does not give you more unless the tip comes from you. The chef had no idea we were married. Breakfast was not that good overall. I would say this is a very short term place to stay. On a positive note it's about a 7 min walk to Duval.
