Silver Pot Halal Restaurant

I've been a loyal customer of this place for over 3 years and have always enjoyed their chicken biryani. However, my recent experience through Skip was extremely disappointing. The biryani was dry and bland—more like plain rice than the flavorful dish I'm used to. To make matters worse, the raita and mirchi ka salan were missing from the order. The biggest letdown was the Chicken 65. The chicken smelled off as soon as I opened the container and tasted spoiled. Really unfortunate to see such a drop in quality.

Disappointed & Done – Silver Pot Has Lost a Loyal Customer I used to be a frequent customer at Silver Pot and have brought many friends here over time. Unfortunately, the experience has been getting worse with every visit. The lack of professionalism from the staff—especially the girl at the reception—is unacceptable. She reacts visibly annoyed whenever new customers walk in, almost as if serving people is a burden. It sets a terrible tone for the entire experience. What really pushed me over the edge was my recent order. I purchased a chicken biryani tray and politely asked for a bit of extra mirchi ka salan. To my surprise, they tried to charge $4 for a tiny portion. And to top it off, the biryani tray didn’t even include the boiled eggs or Chicken 65 that are supposed to come with it. This was the last straw. After giving them multiple chances, I’m done. I will not be returning and strongly recommend trying other Indian restaurants that actually value their customers and offer consistent service.

We ordered chicken biriyani, shikh kebab and butter naan. I have to admit the chicken biriyani was delicious. Quantity is also very good. Usually the chicken biriyani in other restaurants are very basic, but this one tastes really good. They have baby high chairs too. Its a halal restaurant. There is also a paan corner available inside the restaurant. Overall a good experience.

Chicken Biryani was super tasty and perfect but the chicken karahi gravy I guess was too oily . And quantity for the takeaway and approx 15$ was way too less . Taste was average too . Requested to make it less oily but still it was an oil-floating dish.

It surpassed any I've ever tasted, even in renowned Desi restaurants in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The flavors were an exquisite blend, and the chicken was impeccably cooked, leaving me speechless. The exemplary customer service was matched only by the incredible taste of their tea. Not only was it delightful, but it also worked wonders - my flu symptoms and headache vanished, leaving me feeling rejuvenated and content. I wholeheartedly recommend the Silver Pot to everyone seeking a taste of perfectly balanced, flavorful biryani. Trust me; it's an experience worth indulging in. This restaurant is a SCAM & THE FOOD IS PATHETIC they charged us $30 more than what was mentioned on the menu And then we confront the manager and he tells us he gave us the take out menu instead of the dine in menu HE SHOWS US THE DINE IN MENU & the prices are the same as the take out menu They also charged us 24% tax??? like for real who are u trying to fool They scam u by not showing the bill and directly giving us the pin-pad to tap the amount they enter BE VERY CAREFUL IF U EVER HAPPEN TO GO THERE, OR THE BEST U CAN DO IS NOT GO THERE AT ALL AND WASTE MONEY BECAUSE they will scam by overcharging you for food that tastes awful.

The food is really good, their service and ambience was ultimate. Must try chicken Briyani and naan with chicken masala. However, the one thing which I almost get disappointed in this restaurant is because of their hard basmati rice, they are not boiling it fully and so it makes so hard to chew once it gets colder. Other than that, it's a Must visit store.

Taste 4/5 Quality 4/5 Quantity 4/5 Service 2.5/5 Parking 5/5 Interior 3/5 Dine in 3.5/5 I always go into desi restaurant with no expectation for customer service and they did not surprise me 😜. They have been offering buffet. Hyderabad Pan is also available (made fresh, in front of you). Chicken 65 - 4.2/5 - always consistent. Biryani’s 4/5 - of course always provided consistent taste. They also started using better takeout containers in comparison to styrofoam containers most restaurants are still using. Overall it’s a good place to try!

I came here based on my dad recommendation wrong choice, we ordered samosa, lamb biriyani, seekh kabob, the lamb biryani was tasty, the kabob was terrible and the samosa were terrible as well. It seemed like the kabob was old and it wasn't fresh also the samosas weren't fresh and they admitted it. The biriyani was very tasty, not the best I ever had, but decent, the whole look of the place it seemed dead in there, that was a red flag to me, the lam was tender, the rice was flavourful but not worth going a second time. But I believe the naan was fresh it tasted good,

Yes, another review by me on Silver Pot. I placed an order through the phone for 2 biryani and 1 double ka meetha. I have two issues with my experience: 1) I went in for pick up and the cashier didn't have a mask on. There were a few other customers waiting for their order as well. One of the customers also didn't have their mask on. This is a big problem. 2) The double ka meetha was $3.49 and it was barely 1/2 a slice of bread. Very disappointing. I will no longer be supporting a restaurant which does not promote safe practices especially considering how dangerous this is. The disregard for the safety of customers and not actively enforcing masks is absurd. There are plenty of other restaurants that can have my patronage going forward - one being Bahar down the street on Lawrence, which is also Hyderabadi food.

Bad service and bad experience ever. My sister lost her earbuds, she called them and they confirmed they have it when she went there they accused her of lying.

New place in town which was previously pak halal..I ordered chicken 65 and biryani.. very nice flavours and good on quality.. I just hope they keep up on quality of food.. must try..

Very authentic hyderabadi lamb biryani. And also Chicken 65 was very good too. There are a very few places that serve authentic hyderabadi biryani. This is definitely worth it.

Really horrible servic.. took 1 hour and 30 minutes for 10 naan.. never going back to this restauran..
