We revisited this place after 7 years. I suppose it's just a very forgettable place that we drove by all the time, but hardly thought about going for dinner. We went in on a Friday night, Jan 5, 24, about 6:30 PM. Yep, it was dinner hours, lots of people, more so at the bar though. We ordered the crab pretzel to start of, also came with bread. The pretzel was very doughy; the crab itself feels like it came from a container, not fresh.
After the appetizer, it took about 45 mins or so before our entrée arrived. G/F ordered a chicken sandwich. The top bun was sat on the side, where one can see the melted cheese. They probably should've closed the sandwich with a pick cause the cheese looks like one of those kraft single wrapped cheese. It looks like plastic. G/F cut the sandwich in half, and the chicken was over cooked. I ordered the stuffed mahi mahi. Fair amount of stale crab, way too much cheese on the top, and the mahi mahi tasted dry and it was definitely from frozen, and blend.
The server, a young man, who was a bit socially awaked, made my GF felt very uncomfortable. I understand everybody needs a job and deserved a chance, and he reminded me of myself during my teens, 30 years ago.
Again, there were a lot of folks, but mostly at the bar area, and I understand why. You have to be drunk to eat and enjoy the food there. Definitely will not return again.
