Highly recommend!!! Beautiful ladies mixed with amazing set pieces and puppets. Two men with some of the best dancing skills in the nation, especially "Chewy." The right mix of sensuality, athletic ability, and artistic expression, with a dash of comedy.

Absolutely the best show I've ever spent money on. The crowd engagement, the humor, the costumes... The dancers, The most amazing show... Worth every penny.

Went to this place to see "Empire Strips Back: A Star Wars Parody" , and it was so much fun. So funny! The place has great parking. And there seemed to be so many different things to do. Art gallery, stage productions. Litte pubs to get a drink. Just a cool experience. Will definitely go back and check out the other things they offer.

Saw the Empire Strips Back burlesque show here & it was fantastic! Great lighting & costumes. I loved the music selections for each of the vignettes. Extremely talented dancers & a hilarious Emcee Trey made it a great outing in a beautiful & comfortable space. Funny & Sexy is the best combination.

I saw the Empire Strips Back here and it was fantastic! The bathrooms were fairly tidy and the staff was super nice. The performance was of course amazing!

The dancers were very classy and beautiful to watch. The jokes and other funny skits were hilarious. What more could you ask for from an Adult burlesque show.

One of the funnest nights I've experienced in many years. Professional production, incredibly (!) talented cast. Truly a must see. Bravo!

The Space Explorers: Infinite VR space walk immersion experience was great. The whole family loved it. We just wish it was longer! It's a bit pricey when you have a family of 5, but worth it to try at least once.

Yelp
Silver street studios is an awesome venue/gallery to discover established and emerging artists. The space encompasses a wide range of food trucks, artist lofts and exhibition spaces to showcase virtually any kind of affair. Not to mention, freeway access is minutes away and close to burgeoning neighborhoods and shops. Also, the staff are friendly and helpful! In addition, the overall design layout of this place is functional and inviting, not one time did I feel unwelcome. Please do yourself a favor and visit this artist haven, I promise you won't disappointed.

Yelp
Silver Street Studios is located in the Sawyer Yards. It used to be a distribution warehouse and has now become an event venue and art studio. Sawyer Yards has a large parking lot and there is street parking close to the Silver Street Studios as well. Depending on the event, parking can be tight in the area. This place is pretty awesome as I have seen it transformed into all kind of cool events. Last year I came to the Infinite Experience which was a large, immersive space experience. When I did it, I felt like we were in some very large space with all kinds of different rooms. Don't get me wrong, this place is huge, but more narrow than wide in the main area. They just know how to utilize and maximize the space to it's full potential. This past weekend, I saw this space turned into the WhiskeyX Festival. So many vendors attended but yet, I felt like we had plenty of room to roam around and mingle. This place also doubles as a place for artists to showcase their art. It is open to the public on certain days. If you are looking for a venue for your next event, or looking for a cool event to attend, check out Silver Street and see what's happening!

Yelp
This is a large warehouse space filled with artist studios. It is open to the public on the second Saturday of each month, from 12-5 PM. You can wander around, look at selected art pieces in the hallway, and go inside art studios to see more work / chat with the artists. This is a free event. According to their website, this is only one of six repurposed warehouses in the area. I only visited this one and The Silos at Sawyer Yards, which were both so large that they wore me out. The participating buildings are: Silver Street Studios, The Silos at Sawyer Yards, Winter Street Studios, Spring Street Studios, Summer Street Studios, Sabine Street Studios, and First Industrial Studios. I didn't even see the others so it might take some work to find them all, if you're committed/energetic enough. You can also come back the following month. The Second Saturdays Open Studios event is also accompanied by an art market (at 1502 Sawyer Street -- Art Alley). There were quite a few art vendors with a wide variety of styles. There was also a live music act setting up. The promotional materials advertised food but there was really only one food truck outside (it looked yummy though). Parking: According to the website, there are two main parking lots for visitors. Main Yard Parking (2101 Winter Street) provides direct access to Silver Street Studios, Winter Street Studios, The Silos, Art Alley, and SITE Gallery. North Yard Parking (1824 Spring Street) provides direct access to Spring Street Studios and Sabine Street Studios. We parked in the Main Yard -- it's not huge so we got lucky and found a spot.

Yelp
This is a great place to display your own creations! They have something for everyone and it really helps to support our small business within our community. I was able to purchased some very fragrant candles, a beautiful ring for me and my daughter, and some delicious tea! Pictures will be listed below. There were companies to set up picnics and rental for a variety of events. Believe me, there is truly something for everyone. The cost to enter is $10 and you get the nice black bag pictured during my check in; now you can pay $20 and be able to come back the next day, so it's totally up to you but I would recommend going and checking it out. Whether you're a vendor or in the market to purchase something. I almost forgot! They have plenty of things to purchase for dog lovers! The 4 stars is because there may not be parking so that too tells you a bit about what's being sold. People enjoy coming! It's just a great outing for families, friends, or hanging out someone special!

Yelp
A good spot to keep your eye on to see what will be on offer next - they have an ever-changing schedule of events so it is good to check in periodically to see what is going on. Cool, open space that is made enticing with local mural art. Plenty of parking, food, and things to do nearby.

Yelp
Very magical place where people definitely do a great job of expressing their love for art. I like the fact that it is a open to the public free exhibit. Definitely in a good spot for date night or just fun time with friends!

Yelp
I love this place. It's just the coolest little area full of great artists and people. There's plenty of parking and and once you know the directions it's easy to find where to go. We had a great space inside for this private event which was a ton of fun with people getting together during these crazy times. Appreciate this piece of art influenced rooms and buildings in this area.

Yelp
Great concept of connecting artist with the potential customers in a studio/gallery space. The work is of various genres and levels of expertise. Worth a visit...especially during their open studio time!

Yelp
Interesting venue. I was here for the Bourbon Boxcar Tour and the layout worked well. We parked on the street nearby, although there is a sizable lot inside the complex. Nice place.

Yelp
Amazing studio. The restrooms need to be maintained batter. There was sewerage water behind the toilets and the stalls are so tight, if you breathe, the walls will fall down. Came for a bridal event. It was magical. The place was set up beautifully and a bit chilly in some areas but overall good. Parking was not bad at all. I'm exciting for my next event here.

Yelp
I like this venue because it's centrally located, close by for the 610 Loopers like myself. It's very big, clean, trendy and organized.

Yelp
I went here for the Pop Up Art Show with crafts and some food vendors and I was very impressed with the studios, the event, and the space. The location is right outside of downtown nearing the heights. There is parking EVERYWHERE! Along the street, there are several parking lots and even parking lots that are affiliated with the studios. The studio is very spacious and is divided with their art galleries on one side then their open space for events on the other. This even in particular had vendors situated around the entire studio. The garage/ warehouse doors were open but the area was not terribly hot for a miserably hot Houston Day. I will definitely be going back to another event at this location when I get a chance!

Yelp
Their information line does not have information about events that are held there. The recording says to contact the event sponsor. I've never heard of such a thing. I guess they are looking for the graduation party and quinceañera market.

Yelp
I've taken a few classes and have a few friends that rent at Silver Street but I haven't been able to see much more than that half of the studios. I've very excited about the upcoming festival as I'm sure the studios will be full of numerous artists. I really like the layout and the cool ambience of the studios, not to mention the great location!

Yelp
We had a great time at The Absolut unmasqurade event.Lots of spirits on hand for the massive turn out . Unfortunately there was no food available until 1030pm by Berry Hill for those who arrived at 800pm.

Yelp
I received email about volunteering at this festival.I was available on Sunday December 20th from 7:30pm to 11;30pm. I volunteered. The festival was held at Silver Street Studios in the Heights area. I knew that the parking would be a challenge.I parked my car.Free.It was far from the studio.I had to walk. It seemed that there were some paid parking lots around the studio. I checked in at the volunteer booth. They asked me to distribute festival maps.I was watching people. Most of the festival visitors were young and single. The festival gave me another assignments.I went outside. There were a lot of activities. People were dancing and singing. It was a great night After the festival, I was walking the street around 12am. The traffic was crazy. It was right for me to park far from the studio.I went shopping to Target.I met guys who went to the festival.I was a volunteer. I got a free admission.I asked them the prices of the tickets. They said" $90". But they said, "We will return next year".Sliver Street Studios were a great venue.I love the Heights area. I hope that this event grows every year. Am i going to volunteer? Yes of course.

Yelp
This place automatically gets at least four stars from me because I had a great experience - free alcohol will do that to you. On the other hand, this is one of the first times in a long time where I went to a club and don't remember any of the songs that were playing. Yeah, the music was not the greatest. The party I was attending was pretty cool though. I had my fill of free mixed drinks and vodka shots. What a night not to remember, as we say? Sometimes, a place is lucky that you had your crew with you, an event that was put on was so great, or you ran into so many people from so many parts of your life that you had a good time despite some of the downside. Since I was a VIP, there was no line for me to wait in when I got here. I just entered in an exclusive entrance and got to go right in. Sweet! Unfortunately, some of my friends were not so lucky, had to wait, or just left in frustration. The lines were quite long, but they were a little worth it. We met so many new people, enjoyed the company of so many old people (meant the way new people sounded in reverse), and YOLO'd with great party people! If they have another event here, I will come out. More than a few people I was around questioned, "What really goes on at Silver Street Studios." Once I find this out, I may write another review. Also, I will definitely be back if the music is on point. This place, with the music playing, kind of made me think I needed to take ecstasy to enjoy the music. Crazy, I have never done such a drug, but it just reminded me of a place like that club in XXX with Vin Diesel or the place Oliver Queen and his sister run in the show Arrow. A lot of space, so you should enjoy yourself dancing here!

Yelp
It's very interesting art with lots of variety. You get to meet and talk to the artists. They have some light refreshments and sometimes a little entertainment. The artists are actually very good. It's a very upscale and international crowd. And free admission. I really like it.

Yelp
Had a good time at the Absolute Spark Unmaskerade last night. Plenty of Absolute flowed throughout the night. Enjoyed the light effects offered by Absolute. The new bottle is nice on its own, but the light under it is Awesome! The yelp lounge was super convenient and got to meet some great elites. Was my first "yelp" event and as elite...I will be attending more, fun times. The space was really nice. It was open but still displayed art and the light art was really cool.

Yelp
I came here for the 2015 TasteMakers event (my first TM). Parking was kind of a pain, as both sides of the street were turning into the valet section inside of the parking lot. There were no directing traffic officers, but we were left to depend on the kindness of strangers to let us in without having to cut them off to get into valet. I'm not really sure if this is reflective of SSS or TM, but the event was a little disorganized and didn't have enough food or trashcans to accommodate the hundreds (or maybe even 1,000?) people there. I would say that that was the main complaint about this place. Everything else was great; check-in was smooth, the food delicious and the event overall fun and something I'd definitely come back in years to come. We did have to wait a bit for valet to come, but it was an overall smooth process.

Yelp
Day For Night fest was held in and around the immediate area. There buildings were used to house lighting art fixtures for the fest and one of the warehouse type buildings acting as a stage for music performers too. Most of the EDM/Electronic music acts were on this stage. The enclosed building provided excellent acoustics for the music playing plus it was barely lit inside except for stage lighting so it set the mood pretty well. The main stage was not too far from buildings and there was yet another stage outside too. Looking out from the main stage is a nice, picturesque, close view of Houston's city skyline. The layout of this area works well for a music festival that isn't oversold.

Yelp
What a beautiful place. This is the first place put this many artist together permanently in US ! Owner please work for small detail which is really important for guests during the event. Need info desk in front of building and better info on your web ! Keep up the good work this place will be known in nation wise.

Yelp
I honestly didn't see the point to this venue. Ok Absolut Vodka was the host. Nothing new...recipes for cocktails...so what was the point. Lots of alcoholics getting their daily dose for free. Lots of potential for harm. ..drunk drivers...violence...food wasn't served and if u wanted food u have to walk around to the back to get a taco from a truck. The best part was the music. I was not thrilled to be there waiting in long lines no food or chairs to sit in. This was basically an event for free vodka. I would've been better off buying a bottle of Titos, cooking dinner, and saving fuel driving 30 miles into town one way. Save your time and energy for tomorrow - hopefully safely given the amount of vodka some people were having.

Yelp
amazing location and very friendly staff...would recommend everyone to give them a chance to earn your business as they have for me and my company on our annual corporate events...the catering was excellent and the price was very fair. thank you 5 stars.

Yelp
Pretty rad studio filled with independent artists selling their creations. I believe it is open every Saturday from 2-5pm. A great way to escape the summer heat.
