Silverbird Coffee & More

Love that south Minneapolis is getting more new coffee shops! Silverbird was cozy and clean inside, with plenty of seating options. It was busy during the morning, but there were still tables open to work at. The baristas were really nice. I misread the drink menu and ordered the tea latte, which tasted too earthy for my taste. My partner said the espresso drinks were great though! There were a few pastry options as well.

Stumbled upon this new coffee shop and was thoroughly impressed! I tried the Woodsman and it was well nuanced and flavorful. I like how they make in house syrups for their beverages. The ambiance was nice inside with a lot of sitting space. I definitely want to come back and try their other items on the menu!!

Silverbird roasts their own beans and the drinks are perfect. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is chill. They also have a vinyl trading area - bring one with you!

I only grabbed a to-go latte, but it was absolutely perfect. Well balanced, delicious, and the most velvety and perfectly steamed milk. This place might be a new favorite. The atmosphere was also amazing - I’ll need to come back to study. And the people working were lovely.

Silverbird Coffee Shop serves fantastic single-origin espresso. The flavor is outstanding and the staff are very knowledgeable about their craft. This is the ultimate spot for serious espresso drinkers!

Wow! Silverbird is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. First, the drinks, I had a matcha and my partner had the stingray roast, both were stellar. Love that there is no up charge for oat milk and the prices were really reasonable (lower than many others in the area). The food choices were also great! Loved the chana masala hand pie. There are multiple food options for breakfast or lunch including vegetarian and vegan choices. Finally, the atmosphere, it is a beautiful space! You can tell they put love into the fine details from nice single-stall bathrooms to an activity shelf for kids. There is also a small parking lot in the back. Highly recommend you stop by and stay awhile. :)

I had a matcha latte and added maple/ginger syrup and it was absolutely delicious-- the matcha was one of the best I've ever had. We went on opening day so they're still figuring out staffing as it was slow, but that's expected for opening day. I'm so excited to have a new regular spot in the neighborhood!

Great neighborhood coffee shop with classic options and more speciality coffees if you like maple syrup and lavender in your beverages. Their baked goods and breakfast items like chia pudding looked good. They were kid friendly with a variety of seating. We will be back for sure.
