Google
Got the tonkatsu ramen and chicken karaage combo. Karaage was better than the ramen imo, broth could use a little more flavor. They also didn’t have chili flakes to add seasoning. I would maybe come back to try their other dishes.

Google
Visited Silverlake Ramen for dinner tonight. The food was phenomenal, the service was quick, and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. It was a great place to stop in for some yummy ramen. Here is my review of the food: Veggie Ramen with truffle oil This was hands down the best vegetarian ramen I have ever had. The broth was so rich in flavor and the noodles were the perfect amount of chewy. I did pay to add in the truffle oil which I felt added extra flavor to the broth and would highly recommend getting it with this dish. They also use broccolini in their ramen which was my favorite part of the ramen. Creamy Broccolini They had a combo meal where you get ramen and an appetizer. I chose the creamy broccolini. It was amazing!! I actually wanted an entire plate of just this. The crispy broccolini with the sesame sauce. Just fantastic! Highly highly recommend trying this. The Impossible Bun This was a fried katsu impossible meat bun. I really wanted to like this but this was a big miss for me. The sauce was very off putting to me and I could not finish it.

Google
Food: Plenty of Ramen choices, animal-based and plant-based. Great selection of appetizers. A couple of beer selections as well. Service: The place was busy but my order was accurate and came hot and ready in short time. The server was attentive and recommended what they enjoyed the most.

Google
The silver lake ramen in downtown LA is by far one of my favorite ramens of all time. Unfortunately this location does not live up to that standard. The broth in downtown LA is so much tastier and is rich with flavor. The broth at this location just lacked that punch and tasted more generic. The tonkatsu is the broth I enjoy. I always get the blaze as I love the spice. I wish they had quality control across locations as this restaurant is close to my house but does not satisfy my craving. The gyoza and crispy tuna rice were bomb!

Rachel O.

Google
Broth was very good. Got the Blaze ramen, very good but would have done without the spinach. Got it with tofu, which is a medium firm tofu. Karage was very good and the dipping sauce was too. Gyoza are full fried, but very juicy. Definitely going back.

Daniel B.

Google
We just happened on Silverlake while running errands. We beat the rush. Everything was excellent and more than worth it. Spicy Tonkatsu with Chicken and Chicken curry rice bowl. Two lemonades.

Charlie P.

Google
Fantastic ramen, though my personal preference is a thinner slice of the pork, lots of people love it the way they serve it here. For me it's all about the broth and I tried both the classic pork broth as well as the shoyu chicken broth. Both were delicious. But as important, our server Leah was the BEST!

Cyan H

Google
Pretty nice Ramen restaurant the only one things is that every time I’ve been there. The salty level is different for the Ramen🤣 sometimes too light, sometimes too salty.
google avatar

Shar ..

Yelp
the bestie and i's go to place in the winter! so happy a location opened up in la habra. this cozy, top-tier ramen spot is just perfect if you want to sit around outside during the cold season, having some spicy broth and chatting about life. the service is wonderful and everyone is so attentive! definitely not a person that jumps for an outdoor spot, but it's a must when it comes to sharing some drinks
google avatar

Francisco L.

Yelp
Food: portions dont match the price Service: ordered to go. They 'forgot' the pork buns and gyozas. Ambiance: seating inside for maybe 10 people. Everyone else outside in the sun with limited shade.
google avatar

Christine N.

Yelp
Loud music. 6 tables inside, lots of outdoor seating! Honestly, I have no idea why this place is still standing. And that is because the food is not good. I'm not sure how to describe what I got, but it was like a really flavorless noodle soup and the chicken that they put on top of it. Look like the pre-cooked chicken that you could buy at the grocery store in the deli aisle
google avatar

Rachel N.

Yelp
So delicious and never too salty! I keep telling myself I'm going to try something different but I can continue to order the Shoyu and Blaze bowls with Chicken Karaage. Always amazing!
google avatar

Yelp
I possess a profound predilection for ramen, and Silverlake Ramen is unequivocally one of my preferred chains. Its ubiquitous presence ensures accessibility across Los Angeles County. They consistently deliver superlative cuisine, expeditious service, and the perfect milieu.
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
Have not been back until recently. When this place first opened the take out was not very fresh. Decided to try this time eating in. They have a nice outdoor area for seating. Very conducive to conversation and relaxation. The menu also expanded compare to before. Tried the tsukemen and also the pork belly bowl. Overall food was pretty decent. The broth was flavorful. Quantity was above average. Price was fair. Would definitely be back again to try other items on the menu.

Yelp
Tucked away on a La Habra corner, this small ramen gem serves up steaming bowls of rich, flavorful broth, and perfectly marinated toppings. Medium spice is perfect, in my opinion. Friendly staff, intimate atmosphere, and bold, authentic flavors make it a must-visit for any ramen lover. So far this is my 3rd time here and nothing ever disappoints.
google avatar

Renee N.

Yelp
Never disappoints! This spot is new to the area (I have been to the Chino and Monterey Park locations) and I wanted to see if this one lived up to the other two. Great news. It did!! My hubby is not a ramen fan AT ALL, and he said that he would be coming back. Score!! Food was delicious and so much flavor. Service was friendly and made some great recommendations. It's a small spot, and parking is tight, but it is cute and they have inside and outside eating. We'll be back!

Yelp
This place has extremely limited seating and they seemed to be unstaffed. There was a hostess (I thought) but she just walked away without acknowledging a whole line of people to go serve tables. Then she randomly asks 17 minutes later "are you guys waiting" ummm what the heck else do you think we're doing?? She finally calls my name and takes me outside but I had clearly wrote that I preferred an inside table. I understand since there are limited tables but she could have said that. It was raining and cold outside. Then I ask if the curry with impossible katsu was vegetarian (I only asked because on the phone they said it wasn't) - the lady comes back and says it has pork. I look online and on their instagram and it says it's vegetarian. I ended up ordering the veggie ramen which was way too salty. It was also missing the broccolini and we had to ask for it. I think I'll give this place another shot but at a different location. Please please train your staff on basic customer service

Karina H.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place, but the service completely ruined the experience. We waited an exceptionally long time just to place our order, and then an even longer time for our food--except it never actually came. We watched table after table around us get served, including people who arrived well after we did. When we finally asked about our order, the staff seemed confused and had clearly forgotten it altogether. No apology, no explanation, nothing to make up for the situation. By the time someone finally acknowledged the mistake, the appetite and excitement were long gone. The ramen here might be good, but unfortunately the service was so poor that we never even got the chance to find out. Definitely not returning.

Sophia G.

Yelp
BEST RAMEN i've ever tried in the area! - al fresco / outdoor dining definitely made our night (they have a heater too in evening) - TRUFFLE ramen is my favorite! Everything else is great too. Portions are also good for it's price -staff are very welcoming and helpful Would definitely go back every month

Jorge C.

Yelp
I've called to order , but you can't unless it's through the DoorDash app or in person So I visited in person and ordered I proceed to wait And They gave my order to a different person , don't say a name just hand it to different person I believe it was DoorDash so they didn't verify the order at all they don't call a name or anything so there's no possible way to know it's mine , they don't say anything till 10 min later when I ask how much longer for my order, they apologize and say it was given to wrong person but give no time update, after waiting again and getting my order I get home and look , it's basically empty just the toppings with a very small portion of ramen. Would not recommend going! I felt bad for Whoever Ordered through the app as well! Definitely need to verify!

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place! The food was awesome, and the workers were so kind and welcoming. The ambiance was peaceful and relaxing with a modern, warm vibe that made it feel really cozy. They also have a beautiful outdoor seating area with plenty of space--I didn't get a chance to sit out there this time, but I definitely will next time we come back (and we are definitely coming back!). We ordered the large bowl size, and it was super generous--I couldn't finish mine, so now I've got lunch for tomorrow, which is a win! Can't wait to try the ramen on our next visit!

Yelp
Delicious bowl of ramen to warm up the soul. The restaurant is clean and ambiance is good. Folks enjoying their food. Lively crowd. Service is good. As for food, the pork bun is delish, perfectly cooked pork and bouncy pillowy bun. The truffle ramen was tasty, rich and piping hot just like how we like it. Eggs was cooked well.
google avatar

Yelp
Arrived around 5pm on a Sunday evening and waited about 10 minutes to get a table. Staff was helpful with updates throughout the wait. We got the classic with a side of fried gyoza. The ramen was fantastic but didn't really care for the filling in the gyoza. Food came out quickly, service was very attentive and kind. I enjoy the chill, lowkey vibes that the ambiance gives. I look forward to returning.

Yelp
I really like Silverlake Ramen. My boyfriend and I go regularly but this was a new location for us. The server was incredibly quick and kind. Unfortunately my thicker noodles in the garlic truffle ramen were a little undercooked and clumped a bit. It was still good, but definitely not how it normally is. The neon lights throughout the restaurant are super cute!

Yelp
Where to go on a lazy Monday afternoon??? I didn't want burgers or pizza and the hubs suggested "The new Ramen" place!! Whoa, when I found out Silverlake Ramen was now in La Habra, I was surprised it was at the old GBurger spot. Hopefully this location works out for them. It's a bit away from foot traffic or local shops that usually would attract customers. The location is small and the parking lot is for about 10 cars, and a patio with outdoor seating for the puppers! The ramen is delicious, so far my favorite has been Blaze (I am not sure on the name) it come in a creamy broth and ordered spicy!! I didn't add any extras but there are options. The bowl looks small but it fills a person up quickly! I also tried the three different mushrooms cooked in butter. I ended up tossing the leftovers in my "To-Go"soup container. The second time I went, they started doing sushi rolls, so I ordered a Spicy Tuna roll. It was good but I'll stick to the Ramen Noodles ! I'd rather slurp my carbs here! :D Thank you for reading!!!! @Just_._jax

Yelp
This is our go to ramen place, I even download their app for rewardstheir soup is very creamy. The servers are always checking on you if you need anything. Their inside sitting is limited but they do have patio sitting with heaters on cold nights.
google avatar

Yelp
Meat was tender and tonkatsu broth was decent. Not as flavorful as some other spots in OC. Chicken karaage was very good and service was friendly and attentive. Would come back to maybe try a different dish?
google avatar

Stephanie D.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a Sunday after a trip. I ordered the combo with the classic tonkatsu (with pork) and a side of gyoza for my son. The broth was so creamy and delightful. The noodles were perfectly Al dente for me, and the meat was flavorful and tender. I loved every bite! My son also loved the gyoza. He kept asking for more bites and I could agree that it was perfectly crispy, juicy, and flavorful. It's less than 10 minutes from our house so we will definitely be back.
google avatar

Jess L.

Yelp
Ramen is on point - have tried shoyu and tonkatsu. They really have the ramen consistent and delicious - doesn't disappoint and on par with the other locations in LA. Downey is turning into a foodie town and I love it! All the staff are super attentive! Clean and the restaurant is new. Great spot for a quick lunch. Will come back often
google avatar

Yelp
Nice and cozy ramen spot . We were seated instantly and our drinks and ramen came quickly after we ordered . Service was great they kept making sure everyone was ok and our experience was enjoyable. The ramen was delicious and I loved the green tea . Will definitely be returning .
google avatar

Tim E.

Yelp
Used to be G burger now it's a ramen shop. I originally wanted ramen but when I saw curry I opted for a large chicken karaage and I wasn't disappointed. The curry was rich and flavorful with bits of mushrooms and tsukemono. My mom ordered the classic tonkatsu with chicken ramen. It's the first time she's liked a tonkatsu ramen from any spot. So good job there Silverlake Ramen. We had a window seat and man was the sun blaring me in the eyes, but I'm glad the server rolled the shade down for my comfort. I'd definitely go back and enjoy another round of curry and try a Tsukemen in the future.
google avatar

Kiran S.

Yelp
Silverlake ramen is a great spot for vegan/vegetarian options. Great fast casual when you're craving ramen. Service was good. I like that they have outdoor seating. I got their impossible katsu bun. Surprisingly good but not sure I would get again. Will definitely be back for their ramen.
google avatar

YJ L.

Yelp
Would've given them 5 stars, since the food was amazinggg. However, it took over 10 minutes after being seated to take our orders and an additional 20 minutes after that to receive our food. I see others have praised the efficient service, so it could've just been an off night. It seemed like every table around us also waited ages for their food. The loud music didn't bother us, and it seemed to add to the ambience.
google avatar

Grazielle M.

Yelp
This spot is perfect for rainy, foggy weather. The ramen they serve is so tasty. The broth is fantastic. I love how well-curated the ramen is. The garlic truffle broth is super flavorful and has such a comforting taste. Very well executed. The Shoyu on Fire was also great. I did ask for tofu on the side, which is why there was no protein in the picture I attached. Both of the broths that we tried were perfect. Service was fast, and our server was super productive and attentive. Tidy spot as well and well maintained.

Zachary A.

Yelp
So the reason for the one star is that they gave messed up out Uber Eats now 3x in a row. Three strikes your out. Each time it was same problem, we ordered extra chasu and was charged but did not receive. This time, the final time I come here, we had to go back snd get it and they just threw it in the box. We get uber eats because its impossible to go out with young children and enjoy ourselves. So we oaid extra. For delivery, then, STILL had to come in. Never again. And ZERO karagi sauce. Save time, go somewhere else

Yis - K.

Yelp
The food in this place is amazing, delicious, omg one of the best ramen and pork bowl with rice I tried. To be honest is not the best looking place to seat and eat but is the best food.
google avatar

Ashley F.

Yelp
I visited yesterday on New Year's Day. Service was very quick and friendly and the restaurant was very clean. The food was very flavorful and delicious. I do think it is a bit on the pricey side but I think all ramen places usually are. It's unfortunate but oh well, it won't stop me from going.
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
Food is Bomb, delicious, perfect, clean, toilets are clean. Service is awesome. Can't wait to go back. I ordered some spicy tuna before the ramen feast and was very happy with the roll.
google avatar

Brianna R.

Yelp
My new favorite place! Service is great! Staff is very welcoming & attentive throughout our dine in experience. Ramen is so flavorful & the best I've had in a while. Also love the dumplings & edamame! Definitely try it out
google avatar

Josh S.

Yelp
I should have wrote this review a long time ago. This is the best ramen. I would ask for firmer noodles next time but thats just my preference and not to say the noodles were overcooked. They were perfectly cooked. I just like the chew and texture of firmer noodles. I got the combo of shoyu ramen and karage. It was all very good.

Aaron W.

Yelp
The service and ambiance were excellent and relaxing. The ramen and broth were definitely top tier. If you're looking for ramen in the area come to Silverlake.
google avatar

Miyeon L.

Yelp
Our first and last time here. I appreciate the attentive service and hip ambience however the ramen broth, noodles, and taste were not to my liking. To each their own and their ramen preferences- but the noodles were soggy and buttery and the broth lacked depth of flavor. If I was in the mood for ramen, this isn't what would satisfy my craving. And as my husband said, "I had no expectations of this place, and yet I'm still disappointed." Perhaps for some this is what you want out of a ramen, but having tried both the shoyu and blaze ramen here, Silverlake is total dud for us. Really wanted to like this place, but regretfully we won't be coming back.

Eric R.

Yelp
Ramen was amazing! Loved the service from Mike. (Everyone, not just the server, were attentive and friendly). The spot is small and a bit of a hole in the wall but it's got a good amount of seating and good patio. They have lots of options and everything was fresh and flavor packed.
google avatar

Tony Y.

Yelp
With the numerous amount of ramen locations in socal, silver lake ramen holds up. despite being a chain, the quality of the food does not disappoint. The broth isn't as concentrated like tatsunoya or nagi but still good. Location of this spot was pretty decently sized with seating indoor and outdoor. Service was friendly and enjoyed the atmosphere on a rainy day.
google avatar

Todd B.

Yelp
Food: 5* Service: 3* Ambience: 3* Price: 4* Excellent quality. I usually get the blaze and tonkatsu. Both are dreamy and delicious. Very well seasoned, ample in quantity, and a good presentation. They consistently serve quality products. While I have not tried everything there, I plan to!
google avatar

Mia A.

Yelp
Came here for dinner around 8:30 on a Sunday. I got lucky - there was a table available and we were seated immediately. It seemed like we just beat the last hour rush! Small spot. A few tables inside , and outdoor patio seating. I ordered the Garlic Truffle Ramen with butter and black garlic oil. Yes - I love garlic! Broth was good - wish I would have ordered the thin noodles but I didn't know it was an option until after. Pork was great, egg - perfect. My son ordered shoyu broth with noodles - which was perfect size for him. I tried the pork bun for appetizer, and the creamy broccolini. They were out of Gyoza. Pork Bun - hmmm it was ok. I've had better. But the bun was nice and moist. Broccolini - yum! Perfect crisp with a cheesy sauce on top but it wasn't overwhelming! Had a nice refreshing yet creamy taste to it. Overall - great ramen! Cool vibes - loved the beats inside Churros for dessert!!!! Goooooood.

Yelp
Stopped by here after running errands and remembered how much I LOVED silverlake ramen in Silverlake, LA so I was excited to see there was a silverlake nearby. Small little restaurant with it's own parking lot. There was indoor and outdoor seating. I was the only customer there on a Saturday at 3pm so I was surprised. They had a combo for ramen and an appetizer for $19 so I opted for the Blaze Ramen (spicy tonkotsu) and a pork bun. The pork bun hit the spot. The bun was nicely steamed and the pickled onion and green onion complimented the pork belly and sauce so well. It gave it a nice texture to every bite and balanced the sweetness of the sauce. The blaze ramen was okay. The broth didn't taste as I had remembered but it was creamy. It wasn't as spicy as I had liked but the waitress was kind enough to bring me more spicy paste. The pork belly was seared to a crisp but it didn't melt in my mouth. The pork belly was a bit dry to my liking. Customer service was great and she was attentive even when other customers started arriving.

Tammy H.

Yelp
Great food!!! Get the vegetarian with tofu! Never misses! and punctual!! Seasoned egg is delicious.
google avatar

Denise S.

Yelp
Let me just say, wow! I will begin with the delectable ramen I had just the other day from this establishment. I wish I could give it a Michelin star, but since I a just a commoner, I can only jump on this app and give it a 5 star review. My waitress, Saria, was such a joy. Her personality beamed and her her attention to detail was superb. I would call myself a an elevated foodie with bougie taste. And I all of my foodie senses were fulfilled. The classic is what you need to order, add a bit of garlic and corn if you dare. You're welcome, and I'm sure we will run into each other because you will forever be a regular after you try it. But make sure you ask For Saria, cause she makes this a 10/10.
google avatar

Nancy T.

Yelp
I've been interested in trying this place. Sadly, it was a complete disappointment. The broth was oddly creamy and honestly made my whole family feel nauseous. The chicken karaage was dry and the hot sake was downright disgusting. There was a giant cricket hopping around our table, which made the whole experience rather jarring, to say the least. I wish I could say there was even one thing redeeming, but even the staff was terrible, as they continuously interrupted us and kept trying to take my order when I was clearly trying to take my kid to the bathroom for a potty emergency. They also weren't accommodating when we asked for substitutions or for toppings to be put on the side. I would not recommend this place at all!
google avatar

Ashley O.

Yelp
Very delicious it is a little inconsistent with the broth. Always have fast service and friendly employees.
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
Some pretty damn good ramen here. I got the $20 combo where I get a choice of an appetizer and ramen. The chicken Karaage was nice and crispy, the sauce was a great complement to this dish. The ramen itself was great, no complaints here. The broth of was full of flavor and the ramen itself had the perfect amount of chewiness. The meat was ridiculously soft, kinda just melt in your mouth. While this ramen is on the bit pricier side, I would say it's worth the quality. Definitely try out this place if you're in the area.

Christian T.

Yelp
Chicken curry and pork bun was really good. Service was super quick. Small space but they have outside seating. #ServingGoodVibes
google avatar

Sherie K.

Yelp
This place was good. I got the classic ramen and it was tasty. The pork broth was creamy and good, I'd give it like a 6.5/7 out of 10 for flavor. We got an order of giyoza which my toddler was tearing up-- he ate like 5 on his own. I had them as well, they were very good and then we got some pork buns too--also a good recommendation. The ambiance was fun here on a Thursday night. We sat outside and the heaters helped keep it enjoyable on a chilly December night! All in all, I'd definitely come back and try something else on the menu. They have a Yelp check in for a free Sake or edamame as well, which, you can never go wrong with a Yelp freebie!

Bette V.

Yelp
I ordered the Classic Ramen with pork. It was delicious! The portion was very generous, I could have made two meals from it. There's more seating outside than inside, but it's comfy and cozy. The service was friendly and efficient. We were greeted right away and thanked on our way out. It was reasonably priced, and I will be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Garlic truffle ramen!!! They also have great combos - Blaze with Karaage is a sweet deal.

Yelp
If you close your kitchen at 940 please close your establishment at 9:40 as well. Don't post your hours of operation till 10pm if you won't serve until 10 Went in today at 9:49 and they did last call and turned everything off as a chef at a Michelin restaurant I'd let go of my cashier or lead for rejecting a paying customer. I live 3 minutes away and will definitely never dine here again and won't recommend this place any more don't waste your drive here disappointed
