Nancy Silverton Brings Back Grilled Cheese For Late Night Pizzeria Mozza Menu | Eater LA

"A new ramen outpost has opened in Downtown in a roomy space defined by tall ceilings and a big, wide bar; the location at 615 S. Spring St. began service last night and emphasizes a bar‑centric, casual dining experience." - Farley Elliott

The ramen was pretty decent, and I particularly like the ambience :) I recommend trying this place out (it would be really nice for a casual date)!

came here after getting tattooed at mantle around the corner, the artist recommended here for food. it was the middle of the day on a sunday so we sat wherever and were served quickly after! the ramen is juicy and warm with full flavored broth, not too spicy but just enough to give pause. i’d totally come back here if i lived in town.

This place needs to reconsider the girl who was working last night on the phone. I communicated to her that I wanted to cancel my online order that i had ordered not even 2 minutes ago and I heard her tell the cook not to make it anymore. She tells me i have to contact uber for my refund. The moment i hang up on her my order says "ready for pick up" she purposely marks it off as ready. I call her back and she said she didn't mark it off as ready and that the app does on its own after 20 mins. She was lying because 20 mins hadn't passed. It was literally 2 minutes after the order that i called. The whole time she was talking over me. And just repeating herself saying she had nothing to do with it and that they were a third party company. She was rude and her professionalism was offensive. I would fire her if she was my employee. I would never order or step into this places. Many times I've been to silverlake Monterey park and the service has no comparison. I've never had attitudes from any of the girls there. Because of her I wouldn't recommend this specific location. It's very disappointing that your place has a person acting this way. Jasmine K. If this was you and you're really the owner. You're not suited to be a manager nevertheless an owner. You were not professional whatsoever. If that's what you call professional you need to seek professional and proper professionalism training. You don't treat customers with lies and disrespect. You're calling me a liar when you're the one just confirming that you did say the app automatically shows prepared after 20 minutes. What you don't understand is that you're clearly lying. Because i called within 5 minutes after my order was placed and you marked it off as ready. You're literally scamming your customers and uber. This is disgraceful and disgusting behavior. Straight lying and confirming your lie. And saying i was screaming. I was not screaming: you talking over me over and over. You literally returned the energy I was giving. As a business owner that's not a way to treat your customers. You don't reciprocate the attitude, you manage it and keep it professional. I was the one under the stress of my order not you. Because of you and your management look at how many bad reviews you have. If you can't be professional and have a good representation of your business you shouldn't be working there. You don't treat people like that. Especially if you serve food! Who's going to want to eat food prepared from a boss like you. Not me. And no one should. You know exactly what you're doing. Ripping people off and scamming them. It has nothing to do with uber or postmates. As a business owner customers come first. And you're lying and purposely scamming. People look at how many bad reviews she has!!! And she keeps apologizing for her poor management. It's not a place to peacefully eat and enjoy. Customer service is the worse here. I really hope your boss sees this. You should seek a job where attitude and bad representation is needed. I don't understand why or how you're working there. Extremely disappointing and disrespectful.

If I could give this place negative stars, I absolutely would. This was hands down the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I was so excited to eat here after church, especially since all the other Silverlake Ramen locations have been great. But from the moment we walked in, it was a disaster. We had a party of six, and the hostess told us only three of us could sit at a table—which was bizarre, but we went along with it. This location also requires prepayment, which is fine, but when three of us tried to order on the same ticket, she refused and said we all had to order on the same ticket because she was going to add gratuity. I explained that didn’t make sense since we were being split up and weren’t receiving any real service. That’s when she got rude and told me she wouldn’t serve me because I was “rude”—all because I called her out on her unprofessional behavior. I was having an amazing day, and she completely killed the vibe. Now that I’m reading other reviews, I see I’m not the only one who’s had this exact same experience. Silverlake Ramen, I really hope you read this. By keeping someone like this employed, you’re allowing negative energy to thrive in your space. She’s using your business to spread bad vibes in the community—and that’s not okay.

I had the worst experience at Silverlake Ramen DTLA, and it’s clear that management is allowing blatant scamming to happen here. From the moment we walked in, the woman in charge had a terrible attitude—just straight rude with bad energy. She was dismissive, unhelpful, and seemed irritated from the start. Then came the scamming tactics. First, she claimed their credit card machine was down, forcing us to either pay in cash or use their online ordering system. Conveniently, later on, she suddenly said the machine was working—but now we had to prepay for our order before even being served. I’ve been to multiple Silverlake Ramen locations, and this is NOT a policy at any of them. Then, when my party of six tried to sit together, she refused and made us sit at separate tables. Fine. But when we told her we’d be paying separately, she changed the rules again and insisted we all had to pay under one tab because of yet another so-called “policy” that doesn’t exist anywhere else. When we called her out on all these inconsistencies, she immediately played the victim, claiming we were being “disrespectful” and that she had already been yelled at twice that day. Honestly? Not surprised. When you lie and manipulate customers, of course, people are going to be frustrated. At this point, it was obvious she was making things up as she went, trying to manipulate customers into whatever was most convenient for her. Looking at other reviews, I see this isn’t the first time she’s done this, and I’m beyond disappointed that Silverlake Ramen corporate hasn’t stepped in to stop it. If you’re considering coming to this location—DON’T. There are plenty of great ramen spots in LA that won’t lie to your face, give you attitude, and make up fake policies to scam you out of your money.

Great ramen. Love the spicy version. The seasoned egg is usually done perfect. Been here several times and will be back several more. I've tried nothing but ramen here. 🤤🍜 Not even sure what else they might serve. 😆 They also have a dine-in special for $20.50 a choice of a bowl of ramen and an appetizer

I stopped by a few days ago. This was my first time eating the ramen from this restaurant. Placed an order through the Google maps option. Ordered the crispy rice and the vegetarian ramen. Went in to pick it up, waiting time was not too long. Shay had all my stuff ready with the sauces and seasonings I’d requested. She was super nice and accommodating. The restaurant is closed to inside dining so I’ll just rate the food. The crispy rice was delicious but only came with two pieces lol for the price I was expecting maybe three or four, but I guess the area is pricey. The vegetarian ramen was okay. The broth could have been tastier or more seasoned. The amount of noodles and vegetables was really generous so that was amazing! Overall the taste was okay, the service is good. I’d maybe come here again after sampling some other ramen joints in the area.

Delicious ramen and small bites to accompany! Recently they started serving tables so you can order from where you choose to sit. If you dine in, they have a $20 special where you can pick one of their listed ramen and also get an appetizer. I got their classic tonkotsu ramen with pork belly and my kid loved the noodles. The broth was thick and creamy. Had a hint of sweet corn to it, absolutely divine. We tried their chicken karage and fried dumplings. Thank you for providing a generous amount of spicy Mayo dipping sauce. The egg they add to ramen is cooked to perfection with a soft center. The egg whites are savory too, it takes time and patience to make that happen! We saw lots of people ordering to-go. The outdoor seating area made a great place for my kid because he could run around the enclosed area. They have sake and beers to enjoy too!
