Rooms and restaurant were okay- basic but fine. Location was excellent with two good restaurants close by, minimart and access to nice beaches left and right. We stayed in a sea view room but this was noisy at night due to a beach bar, and our view was mostly of massage ladies so probably a bad choice for us- we’d go further back from the sea if we came back.

The place is good, beach is very beautiful and clean. The service is ok except the staffs do not smile. The most important is the bar of the hotel will open until 12:00, and another bar next to hotel (not belong to the hotel) open until 2:00 am. Music is very very very very loud. If you are sensitive to the noise, do not suggest to choose this hotel at all.

Good price and location. About 15 mins walk up the beach to the major restaurant areas and centre if you can call it that. Bus and taxi services just outside the hotel on the road. The hotel rooms are simple but they are cleaned everyday and seem quite new. There’s some noise from the bars just around the corner, so if you’re a light sleeper you might want to ask for a room facing south. Restaurant was ok, with good service. Breakfast was the only real negative, but I think it was included so I guess then I can’t complain.

Silversand Resort offers a wonderful beachfront experience with an unbeatable location right on Ao Phai Beach. While only a few rooms are directly sea-facing, we stayed in a garden view room that was still well-appointed and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. The buffet breakfast features a decent variety, including a live egg station, salad bar, breads, pancakes, rice, curry, vegetables, and fresh coffee. One small note is that the 10:00 AM cutoff for breakfast felt a bit early given the laid-back island atmosphere—perhaps a slightly extended timing would better suit guests on vacation mode. The resort maintains a no-smoking policy in its restaurant area (except some designated corner space), including the beachfront section. While this is appreciated from a health and family-friendly perspective, it may feel a bit restrictive for guests looking to fully unwind in an open-air setting. That said, the overall experience—from the location and food to the service and accommodation—was excellent. It is on the pricier side, but the quality and beachfront charm make it a worthwhile choice for couples or anyone seeking a relaxing island escape.

I stayed at room no.4 , family front beach. The room was so clean and big enough for 4 people but not so private at day time because there are people walk passed and there is massage station in front of the room. This room is far from the bar around 100 m. You can hear the music at night time bot not too loud. The hotel location is very nice. Breakfast is so so.

Great location, but for families the bar noise is loud. The beds are very uncomfortable, but it is a great beach and is close to other areas to explore. I’m a single traveler so it was ok, but I didn’t sleep very well because of the bed, and bar noise. The food is good but I always preferred to eat at different places.

We don’t come here for the rooms but more for the food and the club. It is not just the best environment and my favorite place on earth- but it has amazing Feng Shui - in that people just come to sit and hang. The best the best!!!

Traveling to Thailand during the low season is honestly not worth it due to the constant rain. The cleanliness of the beach left much to be desired, and the hotel breakfast was quite poor.We often felt like we were bothering the staff rather than being welcomed. They weren’t attentive to whether guests needed anything or lacked something. We even visited a local clinic, and they wanted to charge us 2,200 THB just for calling a doctor and speaking over the phone. It also felt like the only thing that really mattered to the staff was the tip you might leave. All in all, we don’t think we’ll be coming back.
