My wife surprised me with an incredible custom cake for my 40th birthday, made with my favorite flavor: dulce de leche. The cake was spectacular: fresh, delicious, and beautifully personalized. The custom design was definitely my favorite part! We always come to Silvia’s Bakery for pastries and snacks, we absolutely love it. I highly recommend their custom cakes for any special occasion. If you're in the Fishtown area, this is the place to go!

We got a cake from here for an event we had this past Saturday and it was delicious! Definitely in the top best cakes I ever had and I am not a cake person! Sooo good! I would go out of my way to get a cake and other baked goods from here!

So I just went a few minutes ago and I bought two sodas and a cup of ice for two sodas it’s like $3.45 not a problem because I should be drinking soda earlier. I bought two sodas and a cup of ice but now when I asked for a cup of ice, a small cup of ice, they wanna charge me a dollar it’s not the money. It’s the principal so when I look back, I said you guys to charge a dollar for a cup of ice they was like yes I said it’s on the menu and she was yes I said can I see it And then she comes back and says well it’s not on the menu but that’s what we usually do for one cup of ice. I will never go to this place again they know I make a lot of money because I shared it but that’s unprofessional. It’s really hot in there but it’s a bakery so that’s understandable. It’s not a good place to sit and eat. The food is average but the prices are not great. I just don’t like when people try to get over a dollar for a small cup of ice that’s crazy that you mention it two sold was almost 4 dollars two can sodas be exact

So i remember going to this bakery years ago and they had moist dominican cake which i love. Usually dominican cakes are full of flavor and spongy. However i dont know what happened that these cakes are now dry as ever. I felt like i needed to drench it with milk. Not good. The frosting, osea el supiro, was good. But the cake was not.

Wonderful Sugar donuts and Bread and other pastries! The prices are more than reasonable. You will keep coming back here as I do.

Buy cake here at your own risk!!!!!!!!! Warning. It was my wedding day I had bought a cake thinking it be moist and nice fillings . Once I had cut the cake my knife wouldn't goes through because it was hard as cookie and super dry. I spent 295 bucks for small 2 tier cake. We was so disappointed and wish we get refunded. Worst day ever, I seen people talking trash about how dry and hard was it.Never coming back to this place. You lost me as customer. Please do your homework when you buy, especially spending that much on money. No refund suck.

i Have ordered from many cake factorys but never have I spent so much on a cake and for it to turn out completely disgusting I ordered my mother in law a graduation cake and the cake was so dry that no one wanting to eat it the icing looked like my two year old put the icing on there so I basically waisted almost 200 dollars on a cake that went to the trash because no one at her party wanted to eat it

I have been coming here once a year and order a large cake and I have never been unsatisfied. I love the experience I have had and to be able to get exactly what I ask with amazing flavors. The women there have always been very helpful and are able to answer any questions I have. Very affordable & delicious. I recommend this place big time!

They seriously have THE BEST tres leches I have ever had! This cake is worth every penny. You can order 1 day in advance and they will make it. If you're in the market for tres leches try this place!!!

I was at dinner and on the dessert menu was tres leche cake. I ordered the cake and it came in the original container. The cake was absolutely delicious. I have had tres leche before, I made tres leche; but, I have to say this by far was the best I have eaten. When I looked at the name on the container, it was Silvia's Bakery. The flavor, the texture, the moistness, everything about this cake was perfect. Can't wait to order this cake. Absolutely delicious!

I bought 4 cakes for my son and they was hard and to sweet never again shop rite is way better and cheaper but better

This is a great bakery cake,bread,desserts and more... it's in a rough part of town but well worth the visit. Delicious!! Tres leche cake.
