Simjang (or "heart") is a tasty, modern Korean experience that will not leave you hungry. Like Korea itself, Simjang mixes the old with the new, makes use of it's tight space by building up, and stays true to its roots with a simple, straightforward menu of high impact choices.
The KFC (Korean fried chicken) offers a few choices of sauce, and passed the sticky fingers test. You'll make use of your wet wipes because if you're trying to fork it, after your first bite your taste buds will compel you to dive in and get down to business.
Ramyun (their spelling) and rice bowls fill the entrée slot. Choose either, and you'll be delighted with a full bowl of meat, egg, noodles/rice, vegetables, and goodness.
There are some nice interior touches. Bright colors, exposed rafters, and old stained glass windows from the Worcester Buick Co. The second floor has a few arcade games on free play, and there are a few pop culture momentos scattered throughout.
As seems to be a trend, pronunciation of the restaurant name is up for table discussion, but if you want to say it correctly it's "shim-jang".
