Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium

Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium is a nice stadium in Memphis. They host many different gaesand events. I am here for the Southern Heiritage Classic. Alcorn vs UAPB of the SWAC Conference. Nice entertainment and environment for football.

The stadium itself is wonderful, the views are all unobstructed, the seating is typical benches throughout and unless you are in the suites, or under the suites where they project out, you will be out in the elements so keep that in mind if it is supposed to rain. The concessions were pretty well laid out for easy access. The restrooms were efficient enough that the lines were never overwhelming. We parked in Blue Lot 14 which is pretty close to the stadium and after the game, the typical wait was necessary. They provided Memphis police for traffic control to make things go a bit smoothly.

Great venue. Tiger Lane is a great game day experience! It was a great vibe on. Saturday morning for an 11AM kickoff! The plans for the renovations look amazing! I love that the vendors sell sweet tea in the stands at the games. I’ve been going to games since the 90’s. And even though it was a tough loss today it’s still great to see the Tigers having winning seasons!

Chicken n Beer festival.. Gus Fried Chicken

was here for the BOA event and it is Not kid friendly. No diapers bags. I understand that’s a security concern so we put our diapers wipes and formula at the bottom of the stroller then was turned away at the gate cause they don’t allow strollers either. Was a night mare finding parking and having to walk to the complete other side of the stadium to enter due to construction then can’t even take a stroller in. Ridiculous.

Amazing atmosphere glad to have seen the last game of the season! 😎 My father enjoyed the game, he's older and is semi active. The walk wasn't long for him. Parking was great and reasonable. Come prepared! Parking/tips are the ONLY cash business. Frustrated that the stadium ONLY accepts DIGITAL payments. Better bring a charger🔌🔌. #SHOWBOATS⚓🚢🚤🛥️

Terrible venue. They canceled Chris Brown, Jhene Aiko, & Bryson Tiller’s preform for the Breezy Bowl XX World Tour, because they weren’t going to be done with renovations. They shouldn’t have even booked him if it was cutting it close to the time it was supposed to be done getting renovated. Very unprofessional. Very money hungry.

Stadium upgrades will be awesome, but they have to get better with traffic control and parking when entering the stadium. Leave at least an our earlier than you think you need to.
