I just heard about Simmons Seafood about a month ago from a friend and man this place is AWESOME! Simmons has an amazing selection of seafood and everything is super fresh! I bought a bushel of Virginia select oysters and they were some of the best oysters I've ever eaten. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable! Hats off to Will and Kate for being such professionals. Simmons is the only place I will buy seafood from now on!

Read the local reviews, and this place seemed like a good place to get shrimp. I went in and got a 3 lb bag of shrimp and key lime pie. The shrimp were good, but the key lime pie I wasn't so impressed with. If I had to complain about anything, I was supposed to get the jumbo shrimp, and I got the normal ones, but that's my fault for not checking. I will definitely stop back in when I'm down there again next year and try it

Always fresh and delicious, service is great & knowledgeable, answering any questions I might have. Simmons is our go to for fresh, local seafood and always will be!

Don’t waste your money… this place is an absolute joke when it comes to oysters. I’ve never been so disappointed when buying a bushel. Should’ve check the bag before leaving. They got our money this time but I’ll make sure to NEVER come back

OMG!!!! I grew up in the Florida Keyes and now live in Knoxville. I constantly search for shrimp that tastes as I remember. Simmons Seafood shrimp tastes just right. This can only happen if they are getting their shrimp directly from the boat. Also, the shrimp dip tastes as if were prepared an hour ago. A very pleasant surprise!!!! I loved my eating experience! Go here!

We LOVE Simmons! We moved to Mount Pleasant in 2023. Both my husband and myself being from coastal beach towns, we immediately started looking for a fresh fish store! Simmons is always well stocked with fresh fish, dips, side options, sauces, desserts, and a great frozen section as well. They also have apparel and some local candies/candles. The staff is amazing, super helpful, and always friendly. Close to the beach, Harris Teeter, and the connector, Simmons is in a great and convenient location. We highly recommend!
